Red Roof Inn Atlanta Southeast - Stockbridge

Hot tob water was ok and jets were not working great. Hot tob was not clean enough so I had to clean it before using. Hotel felt a pit old and in need of upgrades. Pool was not working 😕.

Breakfast was mediocre but waffle house was close by.

The building was not well maintained especially on the outside. The pool was not filled and what water was there was green. There was trash all around the building which didn’t seem to get picked up. We were in a non-smoking room, but a few doors down from a smoking room and it was horrible. It smelled like pot smoke but the staff insisted it was not. Depending upon who you got, the staff could be either helpful or not. The older man was not friendly or helpful at all. It was also right by the highway so the noise could be heard in your room. We don’t realize when we booked the exact location. We would not stay there again.

Going to contact Expedia to see about a refund.

The staff was great the best part of this I paid 148$ for a room with jacuzzi the room was terrible the pillows where nothing so flat and stiff the bed was hard broken springs on one side the tub just looked old and dirty there was a lamp shade hanging off one of the lights no longer attached every piece of furniture was damaged dented or tore up the bathroom door when u closed it had huge holes in the back of it the toilet seat was barley attached it was just a bad stay for the price of the rooms

We went to see Dale Jones, a GREAT comic in Jonesboro, Ga, & planned to spend a little time by ourselves in the am in the hot tub (bow chica wow wow), thus the hot tub room!. We were so tired after a 4-hour drive, plus the wonderful event, we got to the room & went right to bed. Get up & in the daylight noticed several odd to terrifying things about our room. Whoever cleaned did not DO IT WELL. The ref door had cigarette stains/burns. The floor looked like a puzzle put together by someone in DT's. It had 1/4" to 1/2" gaps in places. Using the toilet was like a ride at Six Flags; you rocked, you rolled, and in the end, you just hoped to make it off. Now, here it gets terrifying for me; so my wife goes to take a shower, then screams for me. When she opened the shower curtain, there was a huge stain on the shower, but the sicking part was: THE HUGE CLUMP OF SOME LADY'S HAIR STUCK TO THE SHOWER WALL, & I AM TALKING ROOTS AND ALL! So we headed for the so-called hot tub, & it was not the website's pics. Found obviously used bottles on the inside steps, visible if anyone looked, a ring off a busted used condom was visible on the floor, & what appeared to be blood stains, + scotch tape on the ceiling. No one @ the front desk after 10+ min. We packed, left the key in the room, passed a still empty front desk, & found @ lobby doors a $h!t filled hotel washcloth by our truck!

Had to manually push the elevator door close or it would keep opening. Could see fingerprints of other guests that had to do the same. Bathroom towels were folded, but saw dirt/stains on them. Wallpaper was bubbled along roofline (possible water leak in the past). Some may say you get what you pay for, but I consider these basic amenities regardless of price.

However the room was terrible. The sink was drooping at an angle - looked like it was about to fall off the wall. The drawers on the dresser rolled forward - would not stay closed. The room overall was very dirty - the floors needed a deep clean. Dust in the baseboars. The smoke alarm was missing - bare wires hung in its place. The worst part was that when we pulled back the sheets there were to long black hairs between the top sheet and the fitted sheet. The person at the front desk offered to move us or come up and change the room, but since my wife was already changing clothes, I wanted to change myself, which he allowed me to do. He did provide clean sheets upon request. The grounds were beautifuly landscaped. My impression is that this is a cheap owner who does not invest in his staff by paying them propertly and providing enough clean linens so they can have clean sheets to change, and/or that he does not have enough housekeeping staff to allow them enough time to properly clean

I had booked through Expedia and payed prior to arrival. The receptionist asked for my card which I assumed was for a refundable deposit or something. They charged me double. I paid on Expedia and also paid on site and was not aware. I asked the receptionist and owner they advised I would have to reach out to Expedia for a refund as it was now out of there hands and they apologized for the inconvenience for double charging, also stated it was their fault. I reached out to Expedia and attempted to get a refund but I am still unable to even get any answers. The room itself was not the cleanest, the pool is out of service, breakfast was ok.

We were only there 10 minutes and i opened the door to view the bathroom and roaches scurried across the floor, roaches smashed in the door jams, dead roaches laying on floor next to bed. I grabbed our bags and ran!!! Check out the Holiday Inn across the street, it was awesome!! Don't know why i even tried a RR, hoping they were as good as they were 30 years ago. :-(

Don't waste your money i seen 4 roaches, holes in the bathroom door. Not to mention the unsafe power strip in the floor to turn on the jets on for the whirlpool. Dog crap in the parking lot. I have pictures i just got to figure out how to post them.

They never change the sheets on the bed it was dirty. The water in the shower was hardly running. Don't forget the curtain it seem like it never change. Breakfast time is 6am to 9am. Reach there 8:30 they tell me breakfast time is over. I asked him what time is it now he told me 9:00 shake my head. I will never ever stay at Red Roof Inn again

Unless you ask, daily service will not be done. I had to get my key rekeyed every day. Internet service was very poor. The bathtub had rust in it and the towels were stained. The first night I had to get the sheets changed because they were dirty. The pastries were passed the best used by dates. Will not stay there again, nor do I recommend this hotel.

Dogs running rampant biting other dogs, I watched at least 2 drug deals happen in the parking lot from my room, prostitutes showing up the next day to grab their make up bags…. Whole place smells awful like weed cigarettes and mold. I went to grab a charger out of my car at midnight and got completely locked out of the building. When the old dude showed up he said I needed my id to get in and I told him it’s in my room (gave him name, number, all of it) and that my room key wasn’t working. Thankfully I had a picture of my ID which was enough to get a new room key but still. Sketchier than ANY red roof I’ve ever stayed in. And that says a lot for a red roof.

The building and room are beautiful, but the management is going cheap on everything else. I found an empty bottle of alcohol in my room, the wifi didn't extend beyond the doorway, and the shower didn't drain.

I enjoyed it until I kept seeing Baby roaches, now I know people come and they might have them with them but a few here or there…. That room needs to be sprayed before they have an issue… want be returning….just because of the bugs. Plus the heater kept making crazy sounds. An the pipes was scarring me every time they came on

Property needs an upgrade. Bathroom was dirty falling apart and full of roaches. Bed sheets and mattress were stained and dirty. Light fixtures and furniture falling apart.

Front desk had no one to waiting to give customer service. The elevator had wooden floors and the door did not close good. None of the Lenny in the room was playing it was old it was dingy and the spread hat spots on it. I had to go to the closest family Dollar by Lysol and Clorox I sprayed so much it was an uncomfortable sleep.

Floors dirty, shower curtain too....... small for curtain rod style, water got everywhere, had to keep adjusting curtain to no avail. Smoke everywhere and loud guests

We have stayed here before many times which is why we came back but this time it was disappointing. We checked in late evening the overnight gal was friendly and gave great service but the place has become rundown and dirty. Beds were tired (old) and uncomfortable. The pool was empty. While it was serviceable for this time we won’t be rushing back.

roach infestation. unchecked infestation! the only way I was able to sleep was that I keep a can of Raid in my vehicle in case of encountering such a situation. this can was unused, and I ended up nearly emptying it in the room!

1st Room was roach INFESTED. 2nd room was filthy with feces rubbed all over pillow with a clean pillowcase on top. My stay with this property didn’t even last 5 minutes!! By far THE WORST experience I’ve ever had with any hotel. I immediately got a refund and searched for somewhere else to rest!!! UNBELIEVABLE.

1st Room was roach INFESTED. 2nd room was filthy with feces rubbed all over pillow with a clean pillowcase on top. My stay with this property didn’t even last 5 minutes!! By far THE WORST experience I’ve ever had with any hotel. I immediately got a refund and searched for somewhere else to rest!!! UNBELIEVABLE.

Bedbugs, dirty, smoke smelling

The weather was good very little rain but the hotel wasn’t so good. Things that were broken were not repaired. We didn’t get service from the cleaning staff at all. They did come over Friday morning but we were not up yet so I asked them to come back later. They agreed but never returned.

I was happy with staff, I stayed for 2 days and ask to clean my room and replace towels but no one came, and when I went to the desk, they give me one towel. I will never use this place again

Girl at front desk very unfriendly. Iron burn on wood floor. Vinyl chair coming apart. Roach on floor near fridge at night. Have pics to show. Very dissatisfied.

It was disappointing since the moment we open the door. There was a roach that ran across the floors soon as we open the door. The shower has a plastic wall to keep the wall from getting wet (very normal) however our shower had a whole where someone must have punched the plastic. It was never repaired. The shower floor was not cleaned and being that the hotel had a smoking 2nd floor and 1st floor non smoking it was hard to miss the smell of the smoke.

The room was not clean. There were burn stains in the sheets. Hand prints on the headboard. Brown stains on the comforter and the bath tub was dirty. But it's to be expected for the price I paid.

The room was very clean, but as soon as you leave the room everything smelled like cigarettes . The smoking and non smoking rooms were on the same floor, I asked if they have separate floors for non smoking and they said no.

It was convenient enough but starting at check in apparently I interrupted her personal call and blunt break, she didn't check my reservation thoroughly as I booked a superior king room and she put me in a standard double room. After driving all daý the last thing i wanted to do was go back and interrupt the rude one so I'll just find a different place to stay next time.

Elevator was sketchy... Breakfast was scant. Room wasn't worth the price I paid that's for sure.

It was an excellent place for my mother, my small dog, and me! I loved the vinyl floors! Great restaurants nearby. I will stay there again when driving from Florida to Kentucky.

Hotel was decent for a night stay. I booked a non-smoking room but got a smoking room. They changed it to non-smoking but upped the price $4 even though the price on website was the same. Hotel was clean but well worn.

The entire floor that we were on smelled terribly from smoking. The clerk told me that the smoking rooms started right next to our room which was supposed to be a nonsmoking room. The room also had dust throughout. Very disappointed.

The shower rod was broken and we were not able to take a shower without wetting entire floor

The property was in walking distance to a few restaurants and a gas station literally right beside which is very convenient. My room was cleaned everyday for the four nights I stayed and it was plenty of parking.

There were roaches, and I can¿t prove this but I¿m pretty sure there was some pay to play action going on in the room adjacent to mine.

I was absolutely horrified when I walk into my none smoking room that smelled like a cigarette factory. Everything about the room was bad. And then I go to the bathroom and it was filled with roaches. The only reason I stayed was because the reservation was non refundable. DON'T EVER STAY HERE!

Dirty room, worn features, rude front desk.

It was actually better than expected. Beds were smaller than expected. They charge and extra $10 per person in the room. The third floor had a bad smell

No frills place. Outdated, kinda dingy, beat up furniture. Typical cheap motel.

Need to have room deep clean I went to 2 different rooms I’m not happy about the cleanliness.

Very cheap towels, no coffee maker in the room. Bedspread and blanket had holes. Scant breakfast provided. Noisy. Walls are thin. Was woken up at 3:30am by couple fighting next door. Handicap bath was not a step in. Shower head fixed and not able to pull down. No handheld. I will not be staying at a Red Roof again.

The WiFi was horrible. Somebody in one of the rooms close to me had their t.v up so loud at 3 a.m. and slamming drawers.

Scratchy towels

The room was dirty and there were holes in the blanket. Upgraded room for the second night and had a better experience. that being said the upgrade was 175.00 For another 175 i could have stayed at the ritz.
