The guy at the front desk was very nice, the place was quiet and close in proximity to different things. Beds were comfy. The room was filthy and outdated. I booked a non smoking room but I guess there was none left? I don’t know we ended up in a smoking room, with a strong smell of baby powder scent to overpower any smoke smell. There were burn holes in the bedding. Rust all in the tub. What looked likee feces on the bathroom door and something else on the room door. Both doors were extremely gross and I thank everything that I carry Lysol with me to travel. The fridge had no racks in it. I was told the pool wasn’t open yet, then the day we were leaving we saw some kids in it.

I stay here often. The folks who own it are considerate. The place is very clean. I appreciate the fridge/freezer that is a bit bigger than many hotels. I also appreciate the washer/dryer as I usually need to do laundry. It’s fairly quiet in this area.

Quiet area A/C did not work it was very hot and uncomfortable. The bedding was very disgusting. Mattress cover had a huge yellow stain that looked like urine. Rust was around the tub. The toilet was clean. Towels had pubic hair on them. I would never stay there again

The office staff was great Ms. Patel was awesome very friendly and made my check in very easy. My room was clean and plenty of room. Definitely enjoyed my stay cold ac and slept like a baby. Very quiet and property was very clean. Will recommend super 8 to stay.

Toilet had no water in the tank, had to open A lid on the tank tune adjust the float stuck on the down position ask them to fix it and said they did and they never did it needs a new float stayed in this hotel for two days and the toilet wouldn’t flush properly property management didn’t know how to fix it didn’t care I was not impressed this was a handicap rail and you can expect a handicap person to take the lid off the toilet and adjust the float every time you want to flush the toilet

I almost always stay here when in town, and it’s always a pleasant experience. It’s not the fanciest place, but it’s a great a budget place to stay. I’ve stayed in other please in the area, budget and more costly. You definitely get your money’s worth and more. Will stay here again next time.

I also appreciated the microwave and fridge. But the hotel still has some rough edges -- eg., forget the coffee and pool. And all the concrete walkways and stairs would greatly benefit from a good power-washing. But the price was right and the location fit my needs.

I was really impressed with how clean this hotel was. i saw some of the review noting the older condition of the rooms and yes- that's true- BUT IT'S CLEAN, so I will stay here again next time I'm in Houston. Also, everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful.

Disappointing. No advertised breakfast. No mask on staff. TV remote was broken, changing volume sporadically. Roon was not served after 1st night. Room had faint smell even though non-smoking.

This is a great little budget hotel. The staff is courteous and friendly. While it was obviously older, the room was clean. The room is spacious with plenty of storage. There was a decent sized fridge with a little freezer, and although it was a little rusty on the outside it worked well. It also had a little microwave that wasn’t powerful but got the job done. I’ve stayed at some places that have towels as thin as paper, but not here. They were surprisingly fluffy. One thing to be aware of is that there are not USB plugs so you’ll need your cube to charge your device. There is a washer/dryer on the property for guests to use. They are old machines but worked well. There is also a pool, but due to an injury I was not able to use it. My only complaint would be that the TV cannot positioned differently to see from other parts of the room, and the room I was in the door guard was broken, although I never felt unsafe. The actual lock worked great. This is a good stay for the price. I will definitely stay here again.

I had to call hotel I was scheduled for a Dr appt at 2:40pm and some unforseen event of a power outage due to substation issue..I was worried about arriving late for check in..I called hotel gentleman was super nice told me don't worry come anytime..I arrived at hotel 7pm the lady was super nice as well at check in..They accomadated me with bottom floor as per requested.Parking was easy no issues..Room was very clean..I had gotten a suite the king size bed was comfortable,room amenities were nice..Wasn't noisy around hotel,plenty of food places and shopping nearby..I checked out at 3am the gentleman was very nice even at an odd hour of departure.I had a 2hr road trip ahead of me..Dont know about breakfast due to early departing but I WILL BE BACK!!! This was the worst place I have ever stayed.terrible place .

AC was not working

Excellent older style motel with outside doors. Room was very clean and updated. We got a king size bed, it was firm which we like, got a good nights sleep, didn't hear anything from outside. Outside grounds were kept clean. Breakfast was so-so, But if you want eggs and sausage, you will have to find another hotel for twice the price. I will stay there again if I am around there. Hope they don't change anything.

I highly recommend this hotel. The desk personnel were more than accommodating. Arriving at 10pm kept them up, but they were more than polite. The room was new and spotless.

The only complaint that I have is, it took a while the the shower to get hit

My stay was ok. The bed was firmer than I like. Plus side was there was plenty of coffee in the room...overall was good.

Negatives: Fridge was too warm, the coffee table needed repair, card-swipe door locks are hard to use. Not a dealbreaker by any means though (only here for a night).

I have a smoker's room and it was still clean the AC blow like a champ the bathroom was no dirty rug everything checked out

The bathtub has a severe and constant leak that was not fixed, even I reported and said could go in to repair it. The quantity of water to the garbage is awesome...... Tehe rest, everything was OK....

Surprisingly, the hotel was better than we expected. We came down for my sister's graduation and needed a hotel that was in the vicinity of my parents' place. Only issue I had was the other hotel patrons catcalling my sisters and girlfriend but I quickly resolved that incident. Other than that, the hotel was better than we expected given the reputation of these particular chains.

A bit pricey for what you get, but was very close to the Stafford Convention Center and not far from good food and shopping areas. Shower head needs to be cleaned (caked with lime deposits around nozzles and no bath or shower stoppers. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Breakfast bar a bit skimpy for the price (but there's a Waffle House just up the road!). Was glad to see that the pool and hot tub were already open and well-maintained although it was too rainy to take advantage of them.

Another super eight cliché, sketchy area, awful looking room, filthy rug. Love yourself and stay somewhere else

I was super impressed with this super 8. I normally stay at a comfort Inn.
