The staff was OK. The facility is not new like other Embassy suites. Breakfast was also below par compared to similar hotels.

Breakfast was amazing! Staff was very kind and the omlette bar was delish! Was told I could check in early, had to pay $60 fee and was not told about it. Room AC did not work, not comfortable. It was not worth the $640 I paid and would not recommend to anyone.

Room at first entry was nice but then we saw mold on the ceiling from the AC vents in the bedroom and bathroom. Shower gel gave one of us an allergic reaction but that may be just my daughter. The pool has too much chlorine that makes your eyes red and burning. There was no linen for the sofa bed which is at an uncomfortable incline. Breakfast fruit and yogurt ran out before 9am. The omelet station was great and breakfast great just some items did not seem like they were going to be replenished. The happy hour was also great. This was the least liked Embassy Suites we have ever stayed at. The Staff was pleasant.

Our toilet flush didn't work and we had to call for help. The phone battery was also dead. Pool was very cold and I heard other folks also mention the same. For $---/night you would expect these basic things to work.

There were two rooms in my reservation. One room was for my adult children. The thermostat was broken in their room, which they didn't discover until about 1am, after returning from a family event. It was 90 degrees in the room for the rest of the night. At one point, they went to their car to sleep in the air conditioning for a little while! The room phone was broken, so they had to go down to the desk in the middle of the night. The next morning, the woman at the front desk was arrogant and unhelpful in terms of finding a suitable financial accommodation. The room was $200 plus $75 for a pet fee and I paid $45 for parking. I asked for the $75 and the $45 to be waived for the inconvenience. She refused to give both. I insisted on speaking to a manager. She sad none were on the property; she told me I could come back the next day, knowing that I was checking out in an hour. I continued to insist that she contact someone. Eventually she did, and that person agreed to waive both of those extra fees. They were paid the full $400 for the rooms.

The hotel overall is very clean. Any staff I encountered were helpful and friendly. We stay there on our way from NY to SC every year and will be staying again on our return trip.

The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms were comfortable, and many members of the staff were welcoming and professional. The food and overall atmosphere were also very good. However, we encountered a major issue with contracted audiovisual (A/V) services. At the scheduled start time, the equipment was not operational. Onsite staff acknowledged they were not trained A/V technicians, which caused delays and disruption to our programming. To continue our event, we had to secure emergency replacement equipment at our own expense. Despite this, we were still charged $463.75 for A/V services that were not properly delivered. We have made multiple attempts to resolve this directly and through corporate channels but have not received a meaningful response. A chargeback has since been initiated. While the property itself has a lot to offer, the handling of this issue was disappointing and impacted our overall experience.

Nothing I stayed at the Embassy Suites in Springfield, VA over the weekend, and my experience was extremely disappointing. At check-in, I was given a parking permit and told I could park in the hotel lot. I properly displayed the permit in my vehicle. However, when I came out around 4:25 AM to check out, my car was gone. After speaking with the front desk, I was eventually told my car had been towed around 3:45 AM because the tow driver claimed there was no permit visible. When I retrieved my vehicle, I found the permit had fallen onto the floor of my car. I have a photo clearly showing the permit inside the vehicle. My windows are not tinted a simple glance inside the car would have shown that I was a legitimate guest. I also tried to provide a receipt to the towing company, which is Dominion towing, but Instead, my vehicle was towed in the middle of the night, and I was forced to pay $270 to get it back. What made this worse was the lack of concern from both the hotel staff and the towing company. There was no urgency, no accountability, and no attempt to make the situation right. Given the location of this hotel in an area where people aren’t randomly parking unless they are guests this situation feels extremely questionable. Towing vehicles in the early morning hours without properly verifying permits creates the impression of a predatory system between the hotel and towing company. I strongly advise future guests to bypass this hotel as this experience was both frustrating and costly.

Perfect location off the highway. Parking! We arrived at 9 pm and the lot was full with multiple other cars circling for spots. It is permit only…asked if there was an overflow lot to use or if they had suggestions as to where else we can park. We were told to “just keep circling” and that no, no other areas we could use. We lucked out and squeezed into a spot but saw others continuing to search. Our suite was nice and clean and comfy. Then in the morning we realized the shower leaked creating a huge puddle by the toilet. The hair dryer plug had a prong broken off so it was inoperable. Great buffet breakfast
- 4/5
Breakfast was okay Eggs for omelette would have been better if they had been freshly cracked. Fruit and cereal bar should have been stocked with more selections. I would not recommend the salmon meal that the restaurant serves. It was a microwaved plate with a piece of overcooked salmon at an expensive price. There shouldn’t be a charge for parking in an open lot with no security and parking at own risk.

Tried to give them a second chance hoping they can get it right this time around, but unfortunately, the customer service is horrible. The room was cold this time around not to mention the first time the shower towels had mold. On it.

I chose this hotel specifically to avoid the stress of snow removal and to be closer to my job. Instead, the parking situation created significant anxiety and frustration. I paid $607 for my stay, plus $15 per day for four days to park outside—yet the snow removal was poorly executed. Guest vehicles were blocked in by large snowbanks that were never removed. Upon returning to the hotel, the only way to park was to drive over the snowbanks (if your vehicle was even capable), greatly increasing the risk of getting stuck or damaging your car. This was extremely stressful and unacceptable. As a woman traveling alone, the situation felt unsafe and entirely avoidable. Paying extra for parking should come with a reasonable expectation of accessibility and safety—especially during winter conditions. This experience fell far below that standards!

Later, I tried to get a snack from the snack bar/front desk, but the line was so long due to understaffing that it would take forever to get the snacks. I decided to order room service, only to be told there is none—despite the website advertising in-suite dining. To add to the frustration, while sitting quietly in the bar area waiting for my to-go order, I was asked to move. Overall, this stay did not meet the standards I expect from Embassy Suites. Disappointing experience.

We were told the weekend breakfast buffet was from 730am -1030am so when we went down right before 10am we were turned away by staff saying the buffet closed at 10am and it wasn't even 10am yet, so we didn't get to have breakfast. That's one of the main reasons I chose to stay at Embassy suites because the buffet is so great. That alone really ruined our trip. On our room, it was a strange design which we didn't like and the lighted mirror in the bathroom didn't light up so it was pretty dark in the bathroom making it difficult to get ready for the day in the bathroom. The toilet also ran from time to time. We have never had a bad experience at Embassy Suites before until this weekend.

Everything was very good. The day we checked in the city had them without power for most of the day and had just resumed when we arrived. Fortunately we didn’t have to wait since they had just finished cleaning. They were down to one elevator for a short time but it wasn’t a problem. The only thing I noticed was the hot water took a long time warming up. Probably because of the power being off all day.

Everything was amazing during our stay. My husband and I love staying at Embassy Suites for a little getaway from time to time. The only annoyance and issue that we had during our stay this time was housekeeping trying to enter our room a couple times before we were able to check out. So if I had any issues it was that. If check out is at Noon then no one should be entering the suite to clean before we had a chance to check and definitely not since we also had the "DO NOT DISTURB SIGN ON THE DOOR".

Based on their staff, they don’t own the parking area so any chance they will tow your car. There were other cars without the parking permit but not all where towed. It was definitely a horrible experience.

Location was great and Check In was pleasant (Tip - you have to put Vehicle Placard in car before you go to room). Room Setup was nice and Modern. Went to setup Sleeper Sofa for Daughter and it was stained, dirty, trashed, un-made trashy. Said Nope - took a picture and went to Front Desk. Showed her the Picture and she immediately was getting us another room. Got our new card, went to room (next room down from Original room).. Go to setup Sleep Sofa - Cleaner but no Sheets. In Room Phone didn’t work, so back to front desk. Front desk apologized again and said she would call house keeping. Housekeeping knocks on door and “Here you go” and walks off. Maybe it’s petty and we normally don’t do Sleep Sofa’s. I would’ve like to seen them offer to make the bed up for a $200 night room. Overall would stay there again if traveling thru area but would definitely stay away from Sleeper Sofa’s.

Bed bugs, have a bad case of bed bugs. Told management and was basically shrugged off. I feel and look awful.

ROOM WAS TOO CROWDED, I. E, NOT ENOUGH TO WALK AROUND COMFORTABLY BETWEEN THE SITTING AREA AND THE SLEEPING AREA. BREAKFAST WAS BELOW STANDARD SET BY OTHER EMBASSY SUITES I HAVE STAYED IN.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with our toilet and it was resolved right away

Everything is always excellent when I stay the Embassy

The management said they were aware of it before we even checked in. I think we should have known before we checked in. No solution but, uh, a sad apology and and full charge
- 5/5
The hotel had a solid structure, clean, comfortable bed, breakfast was excellent. Customer service was great.
- 5/5
It was a great hotel. Will stay there again.
- 4/5
Hotel was nice.. in room dining was not great. Staff was nonchalant about housekeeping service not being provided. TV gives a charge of $21.00 per movie.. at checkout is was $26.60 per movie.. Overall the stay was ok.
- 5/5
Lovely experience at this very clean, hospitable hotel.

The electricity went out due to a passing storm and no back up generator. They do not know when power will be restored. So I am locked out of my room. Its been three hours...driving around because my night was ruined.

Phone system for rooms was not operational, half the parking lot lights were burned out, air conditioning was not working properly so the room was near 80 all night. No sleep at this place.

It was fine but I’m not impressed with their housekeeping service. As told via a response to the “how is your stay going” text… The room sleeps 6. There are 4 people on our reservation. Every day housekeeping gives us 3 towels. We used the two disposable cups on day one, and there are no other cups in the room. They were never replaced. And the remote control batteries are low so it’s very slow and the TV tells us it needs to be swapped out. All of that in the text. They had responded to pre arrival texts so I know someone saw it. But for the remaining two days, we still had no cups and we still had 3 towels for 4 people and we still had a slow remote control. It was clean, the people were nice when we saw them, and I could have ignored the remote control and cup thing. But this is an Embassy Suites. Why would you repeatedly give us only 3 towels? There were 4 dirty ones after we got an extra from the front desk every day. That’s annoying.

Front desk staff was friendly and welcoming.

Our stay is was good at Embassy Suites

They are now holding 25.00 2x instead of once. They charged for parking even though they never told me and I was not told at time of booking. 3 people in room and only 2 towels and 2 face cloths and took me forever to get rude desk clerk to answer me about getting them.
- 5/5
Clean. staff was friendly and the free breakfast was great. I would stay again.

When we first arrived to check in, we were completely ignored by the front office staff, after a few minutes they finally greeted us and said they would be with us in a few minutes. We finally checked in right about 6pm when they advised us that “happy hour” was 5:30-7:30. Happy hour was a complete joke. At 6:10pm almost all of the food was gone, and when I asked the wait staff if they would bring out any more items the answer was no. It should be said that happy hour is until it is gone, not till 7:30. Trying to get a drink from the bar meant dealing with a very unfriendly waitress. You can get a shot of alcohol with a soda. No other drinks. The AC in the hallway does not work. Then we went down to use the pool. There were no pool towels, and about 15 unsupervised young kids between the ages of probably 7-14. They were screaming running around and creating tik tok videos. I advised the front desk, but unfortunately she was one person and swamped with people checking in. Maybe we came the wrong the weekend, but I would look at other hotels before returning here for a vacation.

Bummed that the pool wasn't open. Everything else was excellent

Due to the location of the hotel, not having a place to grab a meal during the day was disappointing, The complimentary breakfast and happy hour was good, but some of the food options were not replenished in a timely manner. The food was tasty, but the wait staff in the lounge area was VERY inattentive. The "pantry" gift shop didn't have a great selection and the drink I purchased required a bottle opener, which I didn't realize until I was back up in my room, which also didn't have a bottle opener. The front desk clerk knew of this omission when I went back down...I wish they noticed when I made the purchase.

Great staff. Only complaint we were there for three nights. First night room air conditioner not working properly. We’re not able to move to a different room due to hotel was filled. We informed the staff and were told someone would check it out. Second night it had not been fixed. We were able to move that night to another room.

Excellent Service throughout this trip. Thank you!

I’ll start with the positive: The breakfast staff were kind and efficient. One lady was very sweet and she was the only thing about this hotel that impressed me. Breakfast itself was pretty decent and there was a good variety. However, when I first entered the lobby to check in, it only took a few seconds to be disappointed by the unwelcoming, unfriendly front desk agent. Hilton - why on earth would you have an unhappy, grumpy person representing your entire hotel??? The front desk agent is EVERYTHING! I was immediately put off by the poor attitude. The suite itself was decent enough, but you are taking the no-frills thing way too far. Not even a shower cap? Not even water glasses in the ice tray? And charging $15 for parking even if you have a guest visiting for a few minutes? Seriously? This was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I will probably become a member with another hotel chain after this. Hilton has become disappointing.

After a long ride, I was hoping a wheelchair accessible room would be ready…it was not. I understand. We left and returned as there was no lunch available in the onsite restaurant. We arrive several hours later and we were able to check in. I requested 6 extra pillows (disabled spouse needs propping in bed) and the front desk person did not offer to have them sent up, she gave them to me. I had luggage and was navigating spouse in wheelchair. The room we were given was not as we requested… handicapped accessible (no roll in shower, husband unable to access sink, very difficult to roll across carpet in wheelchair). Then there was the noise in the room next to us…. Until 2am! Quiet hours of 10p- 6a did not exist! I travel significantly and this was hands down one of the worst stays I’ve had in recent memory. We will not return to this hotel.

Embassy suites never disappoints. Breakfast was good, room spotless and the staff very attentive. Highly recommended!

It’s a great place to staying, we love it! We book this hotel every year
- 3/5
We stay at this hotel because of the great breakfast but everything else is just average. Supplies in the room were low: one regular tea bag, one regular coffee pod, only two sugar packets and two paper cups, no all-day coffee bar. Not bad but not sure if we’ll stay here again.

That being said, my wife, adult daughter & I are local & were staying there due to home renovations. During our stay, we had a death in the family in NY & my wife & I had to leave mid stay in the middle of the night. Although informed by my daughter that we had to leave, they still charged us $15/night for a second vehicle that wasn’t there.

Impressive breakfast options. Comfortable and quiet property in safe location

Very convenient location to DC and Northern VA shops and restaurants. Decent variety at the evening reception despite the music being on the more invasive side. Staff was very courteous and attentive. We will return.

We enjoyed our stay. It was very clean and updated. The room was very spacious for a family of 5. They have happy hour between 530-7 where adults get 2 free drinks per adult. Which i thought was cool.

Staff made me feel less welcome as I used Hotels.com to book room. I watched them book people to the rooms and they made me wait. The staff came to my room as I was taking a shower to move some stuff from the room as well.

Didn’t allow charging anything to your room. Front desk didn’t know how digital key worked. Digital key only worked on one phone.

Only Negative is parking is $15 a night. It’s a suburban hotel so no need to charge. I take it as covering the free happy hour and breakfast.

to go downstairs to the desk to get these items. Overall a very nice hotel. Looks like it was recently remodeled.

Nice a place
- 2/5
The indoor pool area was pretty unkept and had dirty towels everywhere! What I was really upset about was that they charged me $15 to park my car in their own parking lot, even as a paying guest of the hotel, this was not NYC it was the Suburbs of Virginia, I would have thought $200 for the room was enough but I guess not, just greedy!

Great rooms. Comfortable beds. Restaurant on premises.

It’s clean and good area to get around. The hotel will be better if they provide the customer with firm sofa bed instead of soft one which causes body aches.

Very clean and nice!! Would definitely stay again.

Very good hotel overall

We liked the location close to where we needed to be for family. The property is nice and it was nice to have a restaurant and bar on property though the hours weren’t great. There are good amenities too like the gym and breakfast and happy hour. Our biggest issue was with what seemed like a lack of staffing. Lines were long staff was grumpy. When we arrived there was no bedding in our room for the sofa bed and the phone in our room didn’t even work to call down. There was no toilet paper in the main bar bathroom at times. It just felt strapped for a busy weekend where the hotel was sold out. But overall we liked this hotel more than others in Springfield but the corporation should invest in more staffing.
