Holiday Inn Express & Suites Spring - Woodlands Area by IHG

Everything was good: clean rooms, good breakfast, etc., but the thing that bothered me was that they are now charging $3.00 a day for parking. I get it in a downtown location where parking is at a premium, but in Spring, Texas? Why? It's not much, but I'll find a similar quality hotel to stay in next time that doesn't charge for parking.

The one thing I disliked was that there was no bacon at breakfast! Loved the cinnamon rolls though! You can tell they just built this hotel though because it’s modern, clean, and has lots of seating options in the lobby. Free parking and kind and helpful staff. We’ll definitely be staying here again!

Has been my primary place to stay. Due to this hotel meeting my expectations, I do not test or try others as this place has truly been consistent for the last 2 years and I’m here bi weekly. Rooms are always clean, bed always clean and fresh and breakfast does the job without needing to go out for it. Give them a try if you’re reading this.

Breakfast menu was fantastic during the weekdays with the pancake machine a big hit. During the weekends the menu was good but pancake machine didn't work which was a disappointment to grandchildren.

Excellent polite staff. Parking was ample and easily accessible. I inspect things in its entirety and my room was well maintained. If anything could be improved I’d say the cooling capacity of the mini fridges that’s it but will continue staying here. The breakfast is the best I’ve experienced from a hotel. Ample amounts, great selection and delicious.

Rooms were clean, put our two rooms across the hall from each other. Very nice stay

The breakfast was horrible. The pancake makers weren’t turned on, one of the coffee machines was broken, the eggs were watery, and half the items were empty or had very few options. We will absolutely not be staying at this hotel again.

The property was clean and the staff was very friendly. We had a king suite for 2 nights. The ac was very loud while running it kept me up the first night. My husband kicked it the second night and it was a little quieter. Remember to check the alarm clock as someone left it set for 6 am and it’s a rude awakening. The shower head sucked. It sprayed and the pressure was good but it’s one of those that takes forever to get wet under. There was a dried white stain on the sofa, so we didn’t sit there. The fridge was also loud when it kicked on and off. Our sitting lamp was not working, reported it and they took care of it promptly. Over all a night place but those old ac systems got to go! Oh I almost forgot, the walls and ceilings are very thin. We could hear people walking above and complete conversation and kids running down the halls. Probably won’t stay here again.

The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. We arrived after dark. The front desk let us in and checked us in. She never smiled or welcomed us. The sink and bathtub was stopped up. The water was brown. According to the front desk, there was construction in the area that may be causing it. We were unable to shower or brush teeth. We had to check out at 6:15 and no breakfast was available.

Seems like a relatively new hotel, and the area is nice. The rooms and beds were comfortable. Our tub had fuzz that came out of the faucet, I guess a filter needed changing. Other than that, everything was extremely clean.

I had a good workout when I couldn’t sleep in the middle of the night just being awake from traveling, then sat in the lounge reading for a couple hours felt very safe and comfortable.

Arrived for a late check in after 11:00pm and had to wait for staff to open front door. When we got in our room there was a dirty urine soaked towel under the sink in the bathroom. No air on in the room and it smelled musty and of urine. To tired to call front fest, so put towel outside door and turned ac on high and spayed air freshener.

My experience with the staff is going to be the sole reason I will only choose Holiday Inn as my choice as a hotel.

Only area for improvement was the breakfast but it wasn’t horrible, the automated pancake machine looked great but tasted awful. Area is safe and quiet, highly recommend this location.

I left my Apple Watch in my room, and the location of my watch is showing at the hotel. I was told it wasn’t found. I know exactly where I left it and instead of housekeeping reporting it lost, the person stole it. I usually stay in the woodlands area because it’s more up scale, I would never stay or recommend this place to anyone. Clearly they hired thieves!!!

Horrible experience with the front counter. Charles Tinsley was creepy with my 9 year old daughter and accessed my room while we were out and later denied it but I took pictures of my room before we left. My daughter also said she whitnessed him taking a picture of her. This is sickening. We addressed it to the general manager and feel it was not appropriately handled.

During check in the Front Desk lady had music blaring and didn't turn it down. Little to no eye contact and she seemed as though we were more of a nuisance than a family / paying customer checking in to book two rooms. Staff seemed annoyed and were unfriendly. I get working in a Hotel isn't he easiest job in the world but the staff walked around like they really didn't want to be there. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, the pool was nice, the gym facilities were adequate....It just seems the staff / service these days is just not up to par. Having staff treat you like an inconvenience doesn't make for the best experience. Someone needs to remind these people that they are in the "hospitality" industry....Have a great day!

It was wonderful! Staff was kind from the moment we entered the doors. I've not stayed at a hotel so amazingly clean in a long while. The bed was comfy and soft. Everything was in working order. Complimentary breakfast offered a nice variety if cold and hot choices. Would definitely stay again.
