Great staff, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was ok. Could use a few more options but overall it was good. It's an affordable and comfortable place to stay but maybe the noise at night is the only thing I would say could be bothersome at times.

The entire stay was horrible. The hotel room smelled horrible - had to go to the store to get candles and air freshener. The breakfast was ridiculous. No choices and the couple of things they did have were stale and expired. Coffee was like tinted water. Ended up driving to Waffle House instead. The people in the room next to us partied all night as loud as they could and staff refused to do anything about it. Ended up checking out at 3am because we obviously weren't going to get any sleep and someone hit my truck with a beer bottle that broke my windshield - again - staff couldn't have cared less. Horrible stay - I would never ever recommend this hotel to anyone unless they buy and sell drugs - they seemed to have plenty of that going on.

Thanks for switching my king bed to a double bed. The smoking room smells bad. Even after the odor spray, the room still smells bad. It's a double bed, and there were only two towels. They did not clean the room or replace the towels.

Staff was great and the room wasn't so bad. I'm not picky so I can deal with a few downs. While being there on a Sunday and Monday night they had guests partying outside. A few rednecks were partying and playing loud music in the parking lot where the pool is at. My room was near and we had a long day at the hospital so it would have been nice if I could have rested without hearing a whole bunch of guys right outside my door.

The check in process was great. The room was awful. There was a terrible smell in room 107. I think something must be dead under the mattress of the metal bed frame. Speaking of which, every time we got up off the bed, the frame would make a loud popping noise which was terribly disruptive when you're trying to sleep. My feet were black from walking on the floors.

We had reservations for 2 full size beds. When we got there, they did not have a room with 2 full size beds. They offered a room with 1 bed. They said that they could not necessarily honor a reservation made on line because the online service didn't know they had regular customers they honor first. I was so upset. We had babies in the car and it was late at night. What good is it to have a reservation if it is not going to be honored!!!!

Breakfast was: yogurt, frozen omelet, make your own waffle stand, instant grit packets, bagels, sliced bread for toast, juice, coffee, hot water for tea, and cereal (fruit loops or raisin bran.) The first day there were also mini-muffins and some mini cinnamon rolls but we didn't seen them the next three days. There was also an oatmeal pot but it was not turned on while we were there. Neighborhood was very business oriented and older. There was plenty of places to eat nearby, but it may not have been the safest place. We will also admit that we had a sketchy person staying in another room that seemed to be watching us during the entire trip and the cops were at another door questioning someone and searching a room one morning when we left (we aren't sure what for or what happen.) Oh, and the final day we were there, several trucks were parked along the road - two semi trucks and then like 3 or 4 construction/gardening type trucks. It didn't appear that the drivers were staying at the hotel, but they were there along with several (Pool not open while we were there but it was up to 5 feet deep and would be appreciated in the warmer weather for kids.)

As far as cheaper hotels go, it's not too bad. I will say the bathroom door didn't lock, the beds were uncomfortable and there was a scary looking stain on the chair, but for the price I couldn't complain. Close to the highway and numerous restaurants. My family went to Cookouts a little fast food place around the corner and we loved it, I wish I had one where we lived.

I was shown the room before I accepted it, but on closer inspection when I used the bathroom, I noticed splatter spots that were not soapy spots. They were spots where a man had previously used the bathroom and had splattered the rim after seat was lifted and also the floor in front of the toilet. Having raised boys to men and a husband, the splatter spots of urine and soapy water for cleaning do NOT have the same appearance or splatter spread. Otherwise, the room was acceptable.

The hotel was tired looking and run down. The back stairs were blocked and could not be used due to unsafe condition. The beds were terrible. I had already booked a stay on the return trip but decided to go elsewhere even though the reservations were non-refundable. I would like my money back for the second stay but there is no way to contact expedia for a refund. I'll never use this booking service again.

(NOTE) This facility is difficult to locate. There is NO GPS matches in this area. If driving north on SC9, look for a FATZ restaurant sign on the left, Rogers Commerce Blvd. will be 1/4 mile at most on the left. A tall Day's Inn can be seen from a distance. For some reason, Day's Inn is not permitted to have their sign on SC 9. If possible, call the front desk before arrivingto get close land marks.

The hotel is in an excellent location but the hotel conditions were the least desirable. Perhaps it was going through some type of transition but condition and cleanliness was not consistent with other days. I recognize the need for reasonable priced hotels but those who are the least among us should be treated with dignity in terms of cleanliness . I think hotel may be trying but needs to try more

Nothing wrong at all. Friendly service, everything clean, coffee at 6 AM. Just off I-85, close to both good, dine In Restaurants and fast food. Small Breakfast room with the usual fare; pastries, waffles, cereals, beverages. I'd stay here again and recommend to friends. Microwave and small fridge in room, standard Cable channels.

I thought it was a good value. However there were a couple of things that could have been improved. The lounge chair in the room was a nice feature but it was a bit dirty so I was not so comfortable sitting in it. Something as simple as new arm covers and head cover would have made it better and would be easy to change out without having to get new chairs. The fire alarm cover was off and I was sure it was actually functional. It looked bad. Also several of the light bulbs were burned out. Again, little things but could be easily fixed.

Overall, the hotel was clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. However, during breakfast one morning, someone inadvertently left the syrup spicket open and syrup spilled onto the countertop, which is unpleasant and inconvenient, but an accident nontheless. Well, I happened to be in the breakfast nook when the manager came into find the mess, and he unloaded his frustrations at ME (a paying customer) simply because I was there eating a waffel. I was nearly speechless, but tried to play it off as an involuntary act of emotion. However, when he ultimately pushed me too far I also nearly lost it. His lack of professionalism was unacceptable. He used foul language, and accused me of something that I did not do, and at the end of the day, was not an act of malice.

I needed a cheap place to stay as I am a student going to multiple interviews away from home. Driving up to this motel gave me the wrong first impression: it is small, and I often jump to conclusions based on this alone. I did not have the chance to eat or see breakfast the next morning, but the room was comfortable and the gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful. I asked for tape to de-hair my suit, for instance, and not only did he have some ready to go but he gave me scissors as well. The iron is located at the front desk, but it is easily accessible if you just ask. The Wifi never worked even though the hotel had 6 different options, definitely a draw-back. I stayed on a night that got below freezing, and someone decided to warm up their diesel starting at 5 am and going until 5:30 am. Then a tractor trailer parked to idle on the road outside (approximately 60 feet outside my door). The walls did not seem thin, but the truck noise was a big problem for sleep.

The Days Inn was exactly what we wanted for a brief overnight stay on our way to our ultimate destination. The staff were friendly, nice, and helpful. The room was clean (very faint hint of smoke, but as soon as we turned on the heat, the smell went away). Initially we had trouble accessing the wifi, but the front desk helped us solve the access problem. There was plenty of parking, and I felt safe staying at this hotel. The other guests were quiet. Breafkfast was no frills-and suitable for what I wanted. Not a wide selection, but staple items were available (pastries, cereal, orange juice, coffee). Overall, I would stay again if I am in the area.

You get what you pay for. While rate was good, the room was just average and the hotel itself was nothing special. No problem with cleanliness. Bath towels were thin and a bit bigger than a hand towel. Breakfast was toast, bagels, cereal and i think self made pancakes or waffles. We skipped it the second day. Hotel staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help. Don't expect to print a boarding pass. The lobby computer is not connected to a printer.

Breakfast was a waffle maker, two choices of cereal, and pastries along with few fruit in a bowl. Overall, I would come back and there were 8 restaurants a stone throw away from the hotel for lunch and dinenr. Difficult to find because address didn't register in GPS so they gave you the address of the post office across the street, no biggie.

I started to be snobby about the old and somewhat rundown quality of the room they put us in. BUT..... I was wrong. Yes the hotel is in need of some updating but my big three were more than adequately met. The shower was wonderful and never let us down. The bed was big comfortable - not too soft or too hard -- with no sagging. The hotel was quiet. The service was beyond excellent moving into downright friendly and helpful. I'd go back here in a minute. I think the Days Inn people should help these guys update their hotel. It would be unbeatable then.

The location was quiet and the hotel was well kept and clean. We had the instructions for using Wifi, but couldn't connect. If we stayed longer we would have seen about getting assistance with this, bit we really just needed to shower and sleep as we had had a long day and the next day would be an early morning.

This hotel is older, but we had a very enjoyable stay. The front office staff was very friendly and helpful. We were staying overnight while our daughter was visiting Converse College and were not familiar with the area. There is an excellent Italian restaurant next door we went to for dinner. If you've forgotten anything, there's a CVS nearby or a Walmart about three miles away. The beds were very comfy - one of the best night's sleep I've had in a long time. Great showers too. Like other reviewers have mentioned, the free breakfast is limited, but it's enough to get you going and on your way. (They offer waffles, cereal, bagels, instant grits, muffins, Pop-Tarts and apples)
