We checked in at around 1130pm and before 12 midnight we found a cockroach in our room. I immediately addressed the situation and asked for a refund to go find a clean room. He informed me that I would have to wait until the manager came in the next am. At 730 I spoke to another lady who reimbursed for the rest of my trip but did not reimburse me for the night that I asked for my money back to begin with. It was a hassle and I would greatly appreciate if I got a refund back for the night that I had to stay even though I had been there less than an hour. I stayed at this property last year and has no problems. No one should have to worry about finding another hotel room due to cockroaches

Very nice property, friendly and helpful staff, clean and smelled great everywhere. Great breakfast with many choices. Room was comfortable and clean. Kids loved the private pool in the middle of the complex. Parking all around the building with key entry.

I went back out to my car and brought in my phone with the Hotels.com App confirming my reservation. They were still unable to find it. After a short while they decided that they had given my room to another customer. It took more than one half hour for they finally got us a room we could stay in. Then the following morning, they failed to open the pool. They said it would open the pool up after check out time. As we stayed here because of the pool, we spent money for a pool they failed to provide.

The breakfast was very good, the lobby was Clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only problem I had was where the hotel was located. The Hotel behind this one had people hanging out around the rooms, and the smell of smoke, and liquor was pretty strong. It looked like a hangout for Thugs.

Wonderful service and great room cleanness. 10/10 experience should definitely check it out whenever you’re in the area.

The hotel was okay. The bathroom could have been better, otherwise the room was ok. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. However, I was not particularly pleased with what I saw in the parking lot around the back of the building, Door B. There was a heavy presence of marijuana smell inside and outside of the hotel at the back of the hotel. A gentleman who appeared to be homeless was at the back and lighting up what resembled marijuana. I was not pleased with this encounter. A security presence is probably needed at the hotel.

It’s convenient to Spartanburg but in the middle of nowhere. And a minor but significant thing: no USB ports in the room. This is 2026. I expect to be able to charge my electronics without having to drag a wall charger around.

Simple but great hotel. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was pretty good, and infrastructure seemed quality (not one of those newly constructed places that feels like it will fall apart in a couple of years). Highly recommend for the price.

The staff were wonderful to myself and my daughters. They were super friendly and responsive to anything we needed, especially the two ladies at the front desk. There were many options available for breakfast, the WiFi worked smoothly, and the hotel was quiet with plenty of available parking. The front staff gave my daughter a cookie and also provided us with extra materials for the pull out couch/bed. The room was a little dated, and when we got to our room, the sliding door to outside was slightly open (first floor) so the room was a little humid. Some of the outlets weren’t consistently working when trying to charge our devices. We were there for a dance competition being held about 7 minutes away so the distance was perfect. Getting into the parking lot from the main roads was a little tricky if you weren’t paying close attention. Overall, it was an affordable, easy stay.

We were very impressed by the breakfast area. The food itself was ok, but the entire area was maintained impeccably. It was closely monitored and constantly restocked and cleaned up. Our only disappointment was having to ask for clean towels. 2 women in a room for 3 nights and the room was never cleaned. We stopped and asked one of the cleaners if she would please provide fresh towels and she did. That the room wasn’t cleaned our entire 3 night stay

Closeness to highway we needed to get on in the morning. The hotel was clean and comfortable perfect for our one night stay. We checked in after dark so it was a bit difficult for us to navigate the traffic circle to get there but we managed.

Location on the hotel It was actually a very good hotel. So I had no complaints there’s one. The outlets in the rooms need to be tightened up plug falls out all the time I’ve stayed here a lot and the he plugs are the same way

The room was clean, but needs some updating. The staff was friendly and accommodating, allowing us to check in early. The breakfast was fully stocked and good, although the eggs seemed to have been those liquid eggs, poured from a carton. Overall, a good stay, for what we needed.

Although it wasn't to bad for the price I don't think we would stay here again. The location wasn't that great and the place is a bit outdated. After breakfast the only thing you could get was coffee in the lobby. No tea or hot cocoa. The breakfast was sufficent and had several different options so it actually wasn't to bad.

We ended up checking out before bedtime because we were staying there for a state marching band championship competition. We were in a handicapped room because I have balance problems and use a wheelchair & walker. The hotel was clean, front desk staff were wonderful! The reason we left early was because we only live an hour away, but the toilet in the accessible bathroom was really low to the floor in comparison to where the grab bars are positioned and the beds were very tall. So with my disability it was traumatic for me to try to use the bathroom and figure out how to get onto the bed. Otherwise everything else seemed fine.

Everything was great. Just an overnight, but when you arrive late nad tired you do not want issues and there were noe. Clean, quiet, friendly and informative staff. The room was very comfortable with good amenities including microwave and mini fridge. It was a bit tricky to get the temperature steady. Able to see my car from the room. The best thing was the free breakfast offerings...many delicious choices!!

Great stay. Very impressed with size of room and comfort of bed and pillows. Truly awesome! Grounds were beautiful and within walking distance to many restaurants. Pool was closed for an unknown reason on a very hot day is only complaint.

It was the best hotel I've stayed at in long time. My family and I enjoyed they stay. It was reasonably priced and they breakfast station and market was great. We didn't make it tobthe pool but i did see lots of people having fun in it. I definitely recommend it and hope to stay again.

The breakfast was good! However the key to get in the room barely worked. There was trash in the fold out bed and the coffee maker in the room didn’t work.

This hotel was quiet, clean as can be, staff was helpful, the little 24 snack "store' was so great to use at our late night check-in, the breakfast in the mornings had plenty of choices, and the bed in the room was very comfortable. Plenty of fast food choices around the hotel and easy access to the Interstate. Would stay again.

They then gave me a room that upon entering had not been cleaned from the last guest. Had to wait again for tg to find a room. The room given was below average in condition and cleanliness. Never again.

The only complaint is the water dispenser is only available with breakfast. There is ice on each floor but no where to get water. The hotel staff was kind and informative. The room was spacious, clean and the AC worked so well! The hotel is located close to the expressway and tons of quick food and gas options.

I’ll just say this, we checked out a day early because it was that bad! We only stayed here because other people in our group couldn’t afford much. After looking around at places and reviews, I settled on this one….i should’ve paid more for a better place and just lied to them. Next time!!

There was a dirty washcloth in the bathtub, we were doubtful whether the bathtub was cleaned. Other than that everything was wonderful.

The staff working at the front desk of this Best Western were very nice. They tried to be as helpful as possible. The hotel property and our room was fairly clean but there was a stain on my cover sheet. It was hidden under the blanket like it was a sheet but I noticed the texture was odd. After inspecting the bed I noticed the issue. I notified the front desk staff and they apologized. Pros: This location has a good breakfast, the staff is very nice and accompanied, the property itself is well-maintained Cons: a little noisy at night with ambulance sirens, the stain on my bed, the hotel next door has shady people who were hanging out and who kept walking through the property. They weren’t loitering but it was shocking to see when we checked in.

There was a dead cockroach in the bathtub upon arrival and the towel bar was broken and laying on the floor.... I only received an automated "we hope you enjoy your stay" response when I reached out.

We were very pleased with the lay out and size of the king suite. The sofa wasn't exactly comfortable, but it served it's purpose. I found the bed comfortable. It was just what we needed for a quick trip with a little separation from our older teen.

Definitely a good place to stay! Your GPS directions to get to the hotel may be a bit difficult due to the roundabouts and street signage at night isn’t as good as it should be. Hotel itself was comfortable, clean and nicely done. Only complaint was the coffee machine at breakfast was not good. Might want to use hot pots and a better brewing system!

Howevrr, upon checking into my room, the televiision would not work, the refidgerator was broken, in order to flush the toilet you had to hold the handle down The next morning, the alarm clock did not work & I almost missed the event I was there to attend in the first place! I went to the front fesk to speak with the clerk on duty who was on the phone for 20 mins & woild not put them on hold to assist me! Howevrr, he was shopping on line on Temu!! When I checked oit on March 4th, I asked for the manager who wss not on the premises. I asked that she give me a call Today is March 6th and I have urt to recv a call. I called the hotel @ 4pm, she was gone for the day. She does not come in tomorrow until 10am, I was told she is vrry busy!!! SO AM I! I travel a great deal. I called corporate, they gave me a voucher which I have not yet received I do not feel this os enough for my inconveniences & plan to call my credit card company to assist with this! I was there to attend a culinary competition with my Grandson who I have raised for 15 yrs. We planned this trip for months & I should have stayed at the Marriott with his group from high school, I am certain I would have had a better experience!! Very nice, clean, friendly staff. Would stay here again. Only suggestion is for more lighting at the entrance to the motel. We missed the turn into the facility and had to back up.

This property has roaches. Seen 2 in my room. Blood stains was on my bed when I arrived. Staff was cool. Room was decent. Bathroom is outdated. Dirty shower curtain hair all in the tub. Then they doubled charged me. Never again will I stay at any best western

I had to wait 10 minutes for someone to open the door when I arrived to check in to the property at 11pm, It was freezing outside. Otherwise everything was great

I found a baby roach in my bathtub

The bed skirt had a visible blood stain as well the comforter being dirty. Thankfully I was able to switch rooms. Staff was nonchalant and didn’t express a sense of concern.

The hotel in all was ok, the rooms was spacious, but the bathroom was so small and dated. The price for one night was too high. I had a big event that weekend and the Marriott was full. I just think the rates were too high. My never go to this website again.

Good quality

It was clean, and plenty of attentive employees were visible so that was a good sign. The property was difficult to get into. It’s only convenient to the highway for travelers passing through, but not a great area for exploring or walking around. Nearby construction was loud but won’t last forever.

Expensive for the location. The front door was locked and we had to be let in by knocking on the door.

Convenient from interstate. Had a strange smell. Layed out badly -- elevators far from lobby.

It was clean and quiet. The only fault was a roach bug crawling up the wall the first thing. Killed it and left it for housekeeping.

The location is not in the easiest accessible place, so you really need to pay attention to how you enter and exit. The checkout staff lady was great and helped me get my BW points applied correctly. The night checkin fellow was nice enough. It was late almost midnight when we finally arrived….but there was an odd smell, not really sure what was happening in that respect. This is the first of many times staying with BW that I’ve said anything negative. I recommend BW but I won’t stay at this particular location again.
