Don't go there. Don't stay there. The rooms was filthy. The laundry on the beds was dirty. The only good thing about being there was leaving

Staid eight nights. Very basic, which was fine for the need I had. Room was always humid. Sit was supposed to have a fridge and microwave, it did not. I did not request one, so not sure if one would have been made available or not. Needs lots of TLC. Bus routes were convenient. Walking distance to metro station. Nearby laundromat and dry cleaning. Target very close by.

Never stayed one night. I had a reservation but when I arrived the place was a total dump. Criminal activity and the entire property reeked of marijuana. I did check in thinking I would just tough it out but when I went into my room and it was already occupied . I turned around and told the desk clerk that I didn’t feel safe there and I wasn’t staying. Still trying to get refunded the money I paid.

A deeply disappointing property that raises serious questions about why a brand like Wyndham would attach its name to it. The hotel is badly dated, worn out, and in clear need of major renovation. Despite the large footprint, the rooms are extremely small and feel tired and neglected. The only real advantage is the walkable distance to Silver Spring Metro Station — everything else is underwhelming. There were no standard water bottles in the room, the Wi-Fi was patchy and unreliable, and even basic internet access was frustrating. Room 309 had especially poor connectivity. There was no in-room safe, which is a serious omission for travellers carrying passports, cash, and valuables. The toiletries were minimal and uncomfortable, the AC did not cool properly, and even the USB ports were useless. If you want a non-smoking room, be prepared for inconvenience and dragging luggage across stairs. The only positive point in an otherwise pathetic stay was the front-office manager, who showed real kindness by sharing his personal hotspot so I could book an Uber at 5:30 am on 30th morning. That gesture stood out because the rest of the experience was frankly unacceptable for a hotel of this brand.

The pictures on the website did not match what it looks like in person. It was very dirty - a bunch of gunk on the floor stains everywhere. It was very hot in the room as well

I will be making a complaint to corporate. I did not feel safe , during my stay at about 2am a man walked into my room twice he claimed he was given the wrong key but that does not explain why he kept coming to my room (also my door did not have a latch) . In the morning I went to front desk to ask if they could check the cameras and I was told there wasn’t any and that was it. I stayed awake the whole night because me being a woman, alone, was afraid something would happen to me

The room I was assigned had dirty sheets. The room was NOT cleaned every day. When I asked the front desk to have it cleaned, they promised two days in a row; but it wasn't cleaned until the third day. There was no chair in the room until I requested one. The shower worked well though.

The price, but next time that I am in the area I will pay more to get more. The lack of amenities. No microwave, no refrigerator, not even a coffee machine.

I traveled from New York for a short stay 1 night o support a family member and friends in a play directored and produced by someone I know. The staff was nice and pleasant when checking in as she couldn't find my paid reservation at first but when I provide my email confirmation booked and paid for online it was helpful and resolved the issue for us both. Television didn't work and air conditioner quality was very bad....filter needs to be cleaned it's filled with builted up dust and dirt

1. Check-in time was 3 pm. I arrived at 2:50 to see both a "Travelodge" and a "Days Inn" sign on the hotel. Confusing. I was told I needed to come back in 10 minutes to check-in. 2. Once I checked in, I was told that the room with the King bed was not available but they had a room with two doubles. 3. The check-in procedure took 10 minutes because the woman checking me in continued to have a private conversation (in another language) with someone else in the office. 4. Sheets and blankets on the bed but no bed cover. No pictures on the walls. They were blank. The floor was linoleum and sticky with stains. No rug. 5. There was no fridge. There was a closet with no doors. A prison cell. 6. The TV was not connected to cable; just a fuzzy image. 7. The bathroom door didn't close and didn't lock. 8. The tub was clogged. 9. When you turned on the showerhead, water sprayed out from the back of the tub faucet. 10. Towels were tiny, max of 4x2 feet in dimension. 11. Minimal lighting. Very dark room. 12. On our third night, water from the tub flooded into the room under the tiles. 13. The next day, the hotel agreed to move us to a new room but only because we explained that they HAD to move us. 14. The lights in between the two beds didn't work in the new room. 15. There were cockroaches in the room. 16. Unhomed people living in the lobby. Unclean & unsafe.

For a property owned by Wyndham, it was not good. Old furniture, no coffee maker. The ice machine had webs on it and didn’t work. I ordered a king bed. Got a queen. There were issues with the room cards not working. I will not stay there again.

I chose this place based on a prior stay. It is quiet. It is close enough to walk to Silver Springs places and Uber will get you to DC places easily. I had a good bed, good climate control and a functioning bathroom with hot water. It’s a good, basic place. The price was the best I could find.

Room was large, yet spare! No sofa or loveseat to rest or read. It was like an echo chamber with only a bed and a TV posotiined too far from the bed to watch and enjoy comfortably. Rust on shower architecture. Disappointing!

There is no registration desk at Travelodge. Registration is at days inn next door! Staff was helpful, I looked at three rooms that were run down before I was a bit satisfied! I would never stay at this location again. Very disappointed that wyndham would allow this..

The location was walkable for me. The parking lot and area are well-lit at night. The neighborhood was quiet for the Saturday and Sunday I was there. I got no hot water from the sink, so I did not bother to use the shower.

Ice all over parking lot at night. When we got back my buddy fell on the ice do to no salt on ground. There's a huge puddle over by the entrance to steps from parking lot my entire foot n shoe went in the hole has to be pretty deep. Would never stay again

Bed is SUPER uncomfortable. There was a small blood stain on one of the beds. Door was very difficult to close and I heard multiple car alarms go off in the night. Air conditioning works but is bad. This is my worst hotel experience ever. Didn’t die so 2 stars

Although I didn’t report the issue earlier, I informed the hotel at the moment I checked out a night early, on July 17. The staff later agreed to refund the unused final night through Expedia, which I appreciate. That said, this was not the experience I expected from a Wyndham-branded hotel. The property needs serious improvements in cleanliness and maintenance.

The condition was poor tv didn’t work the front desk never will answer, they took my pizza i ordered the delivery driver supposed to came to the room door but went to front desk i went and said did my food come they said no but looked out the window and seen the driver try to wave him down he didn’t see me. And i don’t know if you got bed bugs but my last night i woke up my arms was itching tremendously i almost went to da hospital and I’m feeling my arms it’s a-lot of bites going from top to bottom and its false advertisement from what i seen on the internet and the wifi kept giving me issues i didn’t take pictures because i was just going let it b but then i got this email and maybe you can upgrade for the next guest

I would not recommend this place. I checked in and checked out right away. I chose it because my usual hotel and back up hotels were fully booked. This Travelodge had the Wyndham name and I used to work for Wyndham and trusted the name. I guess Wyndham has really lowered their standards. The outside of the property was in disrepair and dirty. Only soap, so bring your own shampoo and conditioner. Safe was not operational. All staff encountered were pleasant and a short walk to the bus to the metro. Also wifi did not seem to work. But it was cheap.

The whole place stinks with cigarette, including the rooms. I was uncomfortable throughout.

The outside area was extremely sketchy. But we proceeded to check in. Arrived at rooms (2) and was horrified. Someone was already occupying in one room and the other had only bottom sheets and no top sheet or blanket. Room smelled. We went immediately to get refund processed and left.

Did not like: very weak intermitent WIFI signal; floor not vaccumed; bathtub water tap exceedingly tight(should be replaced); no shampoo; overall physical condition of the hotel looks worn-out.

The dresser was broken and missing a draw, the tub tiles were cracked and paint chipping every where, the rug was dirty as hell. I didn’t take my shoes off at all

The rooms are extremely dirty, the toilet was broken, couldn’t flush, the carpet was very wet, the room smell bad, worst hotel room ever stayed in. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Staff was ok.

The hotel is under renovations so hopefully it will be better. It looks very dated from the outside.The bathrooms are tiny, and the door didn't close right. The beds are very hard. There were little gnats in the room- not a lot, just a couple but annoying. The people were very nice, and tried their best to help us.

Overall the room was clean, quiet and everything worked, we had appointments in downtown Washington DC and the location for this hotel was good, easy route and traffic was not bad. The price and location was very good for our purpose.

There was warm water throughout, the toilet was good abd clean that using allowing someone to use little water efficiently, the room was big but not attractive the AC was not working, no refrigerator in the room, no microwave in the room, the microwave was one located in shared at the lobby but also was not working!!! The reception was smelling badly!!! Like the sewages or airhole left unattended throughout, the ladies at the lobby was protecting themselves with the masks throughout due to bad smell at he reception, although the toilets were clean.....there is no breakfast close to hotel you should walk around 10 to 15 minutes to find restaurants, there is no transport around, and metro station is located around 15 to 20minutesvwalk, so with bags becomes more challenging, i won't advise anyone to stay in this hotel unless major renovation is done, not worth it, and not healthy, not inspired at all.

This is a horrible property. It reeked of cigarettes and weed. Rooms are old worn down. It is obvious that drug activities occur there.

Bed was covered in questionable stains and there were burn holes all over. Additionally, the door appeared as if it had previously been broken in and was showing substantial damage to the frame and door. I repeat, go somewhere else!

I saw a rat crowling out the garbage can and when mentioned it the receptionist, the response was unexpected response “this happens rats come in through the door in the cold weather.”

if you are looking for a low-cost hotel for one night then this is the one. but be ready for Dirtyness.. old or broken furniture. some kind of smell all the time. Multiple cockroaches I saw.

The worst place I have ever booked, so bad, I left and stayed at another hotel within 2 minutes of entering room. Do yourself a favor, don't consider this location.

Rooms smelled of smoke, loud music in other rooms, had 3 people knock on door to ask for money. Room in horrible condition with holes in wall. It’s a transient hotel which was not labeled anywhere. Cancelled the second night and asked for a refund of the second night.

Went to check out and no one at desk. Waited 15 minutes and called front desk with no answer. Another guest and I just left the key with message “checked out”

This place is an absolute dump. Toilet didn't work, dirty. Smelled musty. Rats in the parking lot. Exposed electric.

This hotel was horrible. Room was filthy and smelled of urine. Bed was so uncomfortable that we had to sleep at head of bed and foot of bed. We only stayed one night because we couldn’t find another hotel. In the morning when leaving 2 huge rats ran out of drainpipe by our car. This hotel needs to be demolished.

Gross! I came out of the weed aromatic lobby with security looking like he just finished toking up and a mini mouse scurried across my reeboks bro. I brought my wife all the way from Texas for her auntie's funeral and our children and I just could not subject them to that. The pics online were deceptive and mislead and in all honesty the place should be shut down period

Nothing is good and receptionist was rudely said to my wife calling police because she said we entered our room 103 Days Inn 1 st of October 2023 yesterday/we just checked out today 11 40 /the receptionist called to our room yesterday we have to leave our room she told to my wife we entered our room without permission, which is rude and lie.

Photos are false. Mold in Airconditioner. Furniture broken and missing drawers. Shower didn't work, wall paper and ceiling peeling. Staff from the Days inn needed to check me in because Travelodges lobby was torn apart. Hopefully for renovations, unlikely.

Myself & my MIL went to stay here for a concert close by. I figured we’d give it a chance for the price I paid & I wasn’t expecting it to be the greatest but when we got in our room we found MOLD all over the bathroom, the ceiling paint falling off, a hole in the wall, a smell that I can’t even put into words & the bathroom door wouldn’t open if you shut it all of the way. My MIL got stuck for about 5 mins in the bathroom before she had to force her way out. I wasn’t expecting it to be like the Hilton because it was a cheap place to stay over night but I wasn’t expecting it to be as gross as it was. The manager did give us another room but even the second room was gross. I didn’t complain the second time though because there was no point as we were only sleeping there one night but as soon as we got up the next morning we got everything out as quickly as possible. For the price, it was ok but I don’t recommend staying for more than a night as it could be a safety hazard.

Expedia should not be advertising this property. Because there were no “nonsmoking” rooms available, they put me in their other property next door. Because of flash flooding and cost, I was unable to get another hotel room. Absolutely disgusting. Burn marks everywhere, mold, noisy neighbors with “visitors” every few minutes after midnight. The sink was clogged. Etc. The staff were ok. We talked to several housekeepers the next morning (they tried coming in the room twice hours before checkout), and they were hospitable.

To start the woman at the front desk was giving attitude during check in. Had reserved 2 rooms both were dirty. 1 had a drain problem with the tub. Took 2 days for them to fix. Asked house keeping for blankets & towels they replied with "i dont speak English". Didnt clean our rooms for 3 days. Had to use the towels & blankets we had for 3 days. That was not cool. There was no continental breakfast like the website said.1 room had a refrigerator & a microwave the other one didn't. Floor was wet in front of restroom in 1 room. Holes in walls, roaches, some lights didn't work. For what was paid for the rooms it was a disappointing stay for them not to be cleaned. I wish i took pictures.
