N/A The television needs to be replace or repaired. The color was awful. The people looked like they were gray and shiny. Our room was at the end of the hall on the third floor, and we could hear staff when they entered the room, especially early in the morning. The carpet needs to be thoroughly vacuumed at least before guests arrived. It was hard putting the safety lock on the door. It kept jamming.

My biggest complaint was the shortage of ice machine available. On my floor (3) there was no ice machine at all. My wife and family did not care for the extremely firm beds. I had no probably with the bed. I have back problems, but sleeping on the firm mattress did not aggravate those problems. Overall I did not have any big complaints of my stay.

Nice hotel but not clear why there is a $10 fee for parking when there isn't a need for anyone else to park there when it's right off the highway. I believe there was also a $6 fee for bottled water.

The hotel is getting a little dated. Slow noisy elevators, outdated carpet and fixtures. Beds are just too soft.

Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good but expensive. In the bathroom, the body wash bottle was empty; there was no disposable shower cap. Would have liked having a box of tissue in room area.

When initially checked in was given a dirty room, had to go back and complain and was given a second room that had a stench took it funny smell. I would not recommend staying at this hotel again.

There is no breakfast menu.

The first room that we went to was not clean properly had smelly old food from the last person who stayed there in the closet. The second room was better, but the sofa had a stain on it. There was spider living on the ceiling with babies. The staff was nice. The fact that we had to pay $10 just to park in their parking lot after paying over $200 for the hotel room is crazy.

The breakfast menu was not much of a selection but IHOP was around the corner. The toilets are low to squat position please be prepared to go lower. The gym was amazing, equipment was sticky but awesome!

Despite being clean & attractive, there were several drawbacks: 1. charged $10 for self-parking in their outdoor parking lot. 2. poor room lay-out; couldn't watch TV from bed comfortably. 3. charged $6 for a bottle of water in room. 4. 3 ice machines were not working and had to go to the extreme opposite end of hotel for ice. 5. prices of coffee, tea, breakfast and other were overpriced. Sorry for the negative review, which I rarely do, but we were surely disappointed.

Clean room and it was ready earlier than expected All the rooms next to mine and above me . Everyone having loud sex and disturbing my peace. It was Valentine's weekend I was there for a surprise birthday party. I got no rest or peace with all that sexual annoying noise.

It was very quiet and in a safe area. There was no microwave in my room which was unusual, the selection of television channels was limited, and the pet fee was an unexpected shock! I travel to shows often with my dog and always leave the room cleaner than I found it, cover all beds and couches, pick up her poops and any others I find etc. so it was a definite shock to find that a one night stay for my quiet, trouble free dog was more expensive than my own one night stay! It would be nice if the very large pet cleaning fee could be refunded if the room was found to be in good condition at checkout. But overall an unexpectedly expensive but pleasant one night stay.

we had terrible people staying right next door on the other side of the adjoining door. Played loud music and talking until 1 am. I finally called the desk and they responded in a timely manner. Are all rooms adjoining? The noise is really unacceptable.

I liked the location and proximity to DC, free parking. I really liked the cleanliness!!! I liked the housekeeping service where all my towels were exchanged and the trash was emptied. Beds were straightened up but sheets were not changed (which is fine). The room had a refrigerator but no microwave. The rooms need a glass pot that heats water to 212 degrees Fahrenheit instead of a coffee maker. I would really like hot water to make tea. And I want to see what I’m putting my water in - that why the pots must be glass.

I thought that all the food offerings were exceptional, if you couldn’t find something that you would like you have a problem, many choices, quality, food, and friendly, helpful staff. Can’t think of anything, they did it all. They were wonderful one of the best stays in a hotel I’ve ever had.

The only thing I can say is I wish I could have stayed longer to take advantage of the food service. I loved the room. The bathroom was so nice! Everything from check-in to departure was perfect!

Everything was great. Bed was comfortable and the front desk check in was so pleasant. I have only one thing. When taking a shower(and the shower was great mind you) I looked up and brown mold was all over the ceiling. The ceiling are really high- so I imagine it’s hard to get up there without a ladder- but honest- that is the only thing but it kinda skeezed me out a bit. Perfect place- everything neat as a pin and I just had to look up…..

The hotel is well situated. It is modern and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The only issue we had was that the bathroom was primitive, with no cover on the toilet and no vanity or shelving for toiletries. However, the price was fantastic.

It only stays open till 10 and then it closes in the morning at 10 if they could add on an hour, it would be so much nicer… There is no microwave in the room and that’s a bummer adding to less convenience. there is one downstairs, but I don’t wanna have to go downstairs to warm up my food.

The “bistro” in the lobby was disappointing, running out of some items and not very good. We did find a little deli in an office building across the street (Mike and Barry’s Deli) that was very good. Otherwise, any restaurants are about a mile away.

The mattress was old and concaved in the center, and the pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. Apparently we were next to the dumpster and the trash was picked up at 6:30am. It woke us up. Someone "accidentally" called our room at 7am for a wake up call. 30 minutes later the housekeepers were outside our door making a ton of noise. We had planned to sleep in until 9 since we were traveling and exhausted but clearly that wasn't happening. We went out for breakfast and when we returned we were locked out of the room, even though check out was not until noon. I would not stay here again. It was overpriced and not a pleasant stay.

My stay was amazing, very clean room, friendly reception service. The only challenge, a disturbing sounds coming from your neighbors room. Without any exaggeration, it seems like you’re sharing the same room. I highly recommend to use some kind of sound barrier between the rooms.

I loved the Gym area, it was very clean, and the free weight goes up to 50lbs. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich from the front restaurant, and it was delicious and reasonable price. Overall, my stay at the Courtyard Marriott was amazing thank you!

Very nice stay. Phones in room did not work therefore unable to call for room service aka toilet paper on the middle of the night. Aside from that ,it was lovely. Staff very sweet and told us good directions to the zoo.

I missed getting a disposable shower cap and the little bottles of lotion. The hotel was nice but the guests were extremely noisy. Every night they were stomping up and down the nearby stairwell or they were talking loudly outside my door at 6:30am. Location was convenient to food and shopping; very short drive to both. Free parking was a definite plus. By today’s standards, I received value for my money.

I didn’t stay in my room the first day at all due to being at the hospital with my grandmother. I asked for a refund for that since I never set foot in the room on Thursday. They said no and would give me complimentary breakfast. I can buy my own breakfast.

I had a nice stay. My room was clean. The hotel was clean and the second best thing was parking, there were no issues and plenty of parking. I must’ve went on a good night, especially to be a Friday because it was nice and quiet. And last, but not least the front staff was really nice.

The hotel itself was nice enough and I will go back, but I will ask for a different room.

Party of kids in lobby were disruptive during the check in. A 2 hour cooler for a refrigerator. Room smelled like chlorine, a can of soda was $5, yes $5.

In the future I will look more carefully to see what other brands are available and I won’t be as quick to stay at a Courtyard by Marriott.

The property is central to dining options within walking distance. Friendly staff and clean and spacious rooms.

I was initially very impressed with the decor. It's a pleasant departure from the typical hotel decor at other properties. I also loved the TV and many options to watch. The room was very clean the housekeeping staff were very friendly. I would only suggest 2 improvements: (1) add a grab bar in the shower/bathtub because it's easier to shave if there's something to hold onto and (2) make a small refrigerator available. Otherwise the place was just about perfect!

The hotel was quiet and comfortable. The housekeeping was spotty. No ice machines (that worked) so front desk persons had to provide ice from the Bistro. Unless you have a car there is nothing within walking distance (unless you enjoy walking in 95 degree heat. You're better off staying at the Downtown Silver Spring Courtyard.

The bathroom is very unsafe. The glass shower door literally exploded while I was in it and injured me quite badly. After checking online it appears this happens quite often at Marriott hotels due to the type of tempered glass they use to build the shower doors. When I told the hotel they were completely uninterested and unconcerned with my safety or health. They did not help me even though I was bleeding. They then overcharged me to replace the door. Overall, very disappointing and dangerous.
