    They nailed the 1st impression with a clean facility inside and out. The lobby and other common areas did not have working air conditioning. The room was as expected. Unfortunately, the Television had no signal. The bar had a generous happy hour special. Room service was prompt and polite. I ordered prime rib for dinner. The quality of the meat was not on par with cuts had at Happy Hour. The kitchen was not a total loss as other items had at Happy Hour were fresh and delightful. I would stay here again.

    It was a nice hotel and seemed clean. The only thing is that we were celebrating our 23rd anniversary and wanted a hotel with a hot tub which is one of the reasons why we chose this one and the hot tub was cold, a bit cloudy, and seemed to not be working. Also, the halls and foyer area were fairly warm, so a little more air conditioning would help. Overall, I would still recommend

    Location, comfort of the room, delicious food from Johnny's and the outstanding staff. Always an awesome stay! Booking.com. I use booking all the time, this time I was booked for two rooms, not by me. Was charged twice for my stay. Evidently Booking booked a room with my member number and one without. When I inquired about it with the Crown front desk, they very eagerly refunded my money. Not sure if I will be using Booking.com for future arrangements.

They were uncommunicative also I was not compensated for the inconvenience of having to wake from my sleep and stand outside without any updates for more then 2 hrs.

    The app says breakfast included it is 12$ I also had marks claw marks all over my headboards and there was black mold growing by the AC vent and I had a baby in my room . I won’t be staying here again

    Tried calling the front desk for extra towels and toilet paper, no answer. Went down to the front desk and there was a sign on it that said something about how they were away from the desk and would be back soon. The same thing happened the next morning when I went downstairs to check out. Stood with a group of people waiting to check out for a while.

We planned on going into the restaurant from now on BUT after this stay we have decided to find a different hotel to stay at from now on. First, the room they originally put me in had the shower head hanging out of the wall…. Then the elevators broke, I get out things happen and I don’t mind walking down 4…flights…of stairs…. Multiple times a day, but the last time we did so there was a gentleman who had a bad leg, walking down…4 flights of stairs. Anyway, thx.     The condition of the building is quite poor. Faulty fire alarm systems, broken elevator, leaks, etc. The staff are great though but unfortunately the lack of care for the building made it quite uncomfortable for my family.

    I like the property as a whole, the restaurant is good, the pool is nice and the rooms are generally well kept. This time my room was worn and tired. The headboard needed to be replaced, it was gross. The layout of this room was different from the time before and did not flow well in my opinion. After climbing into bed for the evening a bug crawled out, and I spent a restless evening wondering if there were more.

    That said, the rooms themselves are a bit dated and could definitely use some updating. There were a few maintenance issues—paint on the headboards was rubbing off, and the fridge actually came out of the cabinet when I tried to open it—which took away from the overall experience. Overall, it’s a solid option thanks to the friendly staff and convenient amenities, but some room improvements would make a big difference.

    Convenient location for restaurants and activities. The room was OK. Furniture pieces were broken and the TV only connects to certain cable channels like sports and news. We didn’t get to enjoy the pool because of the weather but the hot tub was very nice very hot. The restaurant is OK. I think the prices don’t really match the food, but it wasn’t bad.

    Clean, quiet, very comfortable and roomy. The beds were so comfortable! I slept the whole night which never happens the first night away. The Speakman shower was a welcome surprise as I jumped in for a quick shower and got the best massage! I will definitely stay here again!

    Staff was great, room was very clean. Good experience overall. Lots of space for parking (free parking). The room was very plain, and missing pen and paper for the desk. It was too closer to the highway, and a little difficult to get out in the morning due to traffic and lights to cross.

    Did not eat breakfast. We stop overnight from Sherman, Texas on the way to Galveston and the Cruise Ship. Great location off of I45 ....Easy off and On and the beds are more comfortable than my own at home! Love to stop here. Nothing needs to be better! Always a great stop!

    Room was gross, there were multiple giant stains on the couch, when i let the daytime front desk person know - she told me “well we haven’t heard any complaints like that about that room before” - and that was it. No follow up, my request to change rooms was met with “we will call you if something comes available” and zero follow up.

    My number one complaint was that it was very noisy with doors opening and closing all night long, people talking and running up and down the hall it as though every guest was booked on the fourth floor. Not at all a restful evening. No interaction with staff other than a gentlemen taking my credit card for incidentals, which were not used and is still pending on my card. Very disappointing for such a once well established hotel brand. Will not be using this facility again.

    So the problem wasn't with the hotel but with hotels.com the room that I thought I was booking off of pictures wasn't the room so I went into panic mood because there wouldn't be enough places for my family to sleep lucky for me the hotel helped with that. The other thing that we had issues with was a couple doors down was a couple that were screaming at each other alot and made my kids very nervous and uncomfrotable.

    The woman at the front desk, I think her name was Jennifer. She was awesome ! I got to town early and went to the hotel to see when I could check in and she said, " go to lunch and come back around one o'clock." I went back right around one and she checked me in early. The room was very nice, great location, the restaurant had a great deal going on the appetizers. Everything was clean.

    My husband and I have recently started traveling to the Woodlands for business purposes. We stayed the first two times at a different hotel having an pleasant experience. My husband liked the pictures online of this hotel and suggested trying it out. I reluctantly agreed. This was a great idea. The hotel looks tastefully updated. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and the bedding is really comfortable. The hot tub that the staff warms up for you really elevated the experience. But what really stands out is the excellent service we are provided with. Jennifer at the front desk has gone above and beyond to take great care of us the two times we have stayed there. We truly appreciate her and look forward to continuing to stay at this hotel.

    Great service and decent facilities and restaurant (at least, the complementary breakfast was pretty good). The towel rack in my bathroom was broken and almost falling off the wall. I was out in a handicapped room because that’s all that was left. The shower head was like a garden hose sprayer set on “jet” mode and there was a puddle extending about 1.5 ft from the tub after my shower. Overall, everything was great except the shower (and the broken towel rack). Typical collapsing/flat hotel pillows - pretty standard expectation, so I’m not docking any points for that.

    The room was scrupulously clean in every respect. We especially appreciated having the top sheet & comforter SEPARATE from one another, so we could cover up with the lighter sheet and/or comforter as we wanted. Hygiene products were high-end and very welcome. The TV and A/C operated flawlessly. My sister said her room was equally well prepared and very comfortable. The breakfast was perhaps the best one we've ever had in a hotel. We just LOVED the fat sausage links and wondered where they came from -- simply delicious. My sister & I try to eat a keto diet, and there were plenty of selections at breakfast that worked for us. The Crowne Plaza Shenandoah is very near our family that we were visiting, making access easy & quick. For any future stays in the Conroe area, we will definitely choose the Crowne Plaza again. We would recommend it without hesitation to anyone looking for an excellent stay in the area.

    Our biggest compliment goes to Johnnys restaurant on site. The food is wonderful and the service top notch! I have to mention Miss Avis, the hostess, as well as Stephen, our waiter. Both went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our visits (we dined both evenings of or stay). We also had breakfast both days and the young lady attending to us was exceptional as well. Highly recommend all of them and the restaurant

    This hotel is very dated. It has a musty smell and the room felt dirty. I had a two night stay and I was not told at check in that the internet was down.     Later on in the middle of the night around 3am, the fire alarm went off. The whole hotel was evacuated. It turned out to be a problem in their system as other guests confirmed that the same issue happened the night before also. The staff was uncooperative and never gave any good answers. Not recommended for a pleasant stay.

    The fire alarms went off at 3am two mornings in a row. Evidently, this is a recurrent problem. The firemen informed us that this was an ongoing problem that upper management refuses to fix. The GM was difficult for staff to reach about the alarms as well. DO NOT stay here unless you don’t mind fire alarms in the middle of the night!

    We had a great stay at the Crowne Plaza Shenandoah. The rooms are a good size and very comfortable, and have everything you need - although it would have been nice to have had a safe. The staff were friendly and welcoming. There is plenty of parking and the hotel overall was very clean and looked after. A good hotel if you are visiting the area.

    I travel to the area a lot for business. I always stay here when I can. The hotel seems to be relatively new and well maintained. The beds and pillows are the most comfortable of any hotel I've stayed in. Great dining options are literally a block away.

    Super friendly staff. The restaurant was great and the wait staff there were amazing. Property is well maintained. There was a nice Texas blackout for a couple of hours but it wasn’t a terrible experience, I also travel with a flashlight. The only complaint I can think of is the hot water kind of has a mind of its own. It can get super hot or not hot at all. That didn’t ruin the overall experience.

    The area has plenty of restaurants and nearby shopping too. The hotel was nice, a nice pool and the rooms were clean and decent. The staff are not super friendly or anything but I would say service is just ok
