Our stay at this B&B was wonderful. We stayed here while we visited our daughter at UVA and it allowed us to hangout and play games with our daughter, her boyfriend and my mother in law.

The owners are super friendly. We stayed at the cottage and it was more than what we were expecting. We are planning on coming back and staying at the cottage again! Also make sure to try their creme brûlée, it is the best crème brûlée I ever had.

Great location for visiting wineries, breweries and distilleries. There are several historical sites close as well as trailheads to explore. The property is so relaxing and the staff(the four legged ones also) were so inviting, felt like we were visiting family. The breakfasts were amazing. We will definitely stay there again.

We stayed in the cottage for the weekend. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the owners. The cottage, main house and surrounding grounds were very warm and charming and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was amazing each day and we will not hesitate to book here again!

This property and my stay were substantially above expectations. The restored home is absolutely beautiful, especially the well-appointed Cedar Room at the back of the house that had an expansive view of the VA hills in the distance, the sweep of the large grounds, and the vines in the foreground, all from the patio off the room. All the latest technologies are easily accessible onsite. The trained-chef owner served extraordinary, delicious breakfast offerings, with the cabernet franc jam killer! The property is about 25 minutes south of historic downtown Charlottesville, but easily accessible within 45 minutes to any of the attractions in the area, such as the wineries and the presidential plantations. Lastly, most comfortable bed I've slept in that I can remember. Visit for granddaughter's wedding, but I will return just to enjoy the property and breakfasts again.

Absolutely lovely. The property is perfectly secluded, the craftsmanship of the house is beyond beautiful. We were greeted by Stefan and willow (the owners pup). He walked us through the house and then we retired in for the night. Comfy bed, lovely and clean rooms. Breakfast was fantastic. Will be back.

I brought my son down to Virginia for military school and because it is his first time away from home I was feeling anxiety and wanted to stay someplace peaceful and soothing with a beautiful landscape. Initially, I planned to stay in a hotel but this wonderful bed and breakfast appeared on the list of hotels.com. When I read the reviews I noticed that EVERYONE raved about the place, and, I must say, they were not exaggerating. It is so warm, and cozy, and beautiful. The grounds are so well manicured; the hosts are lovely, gracious people, and even the dog, Willow, is a sweetheart. The room was spacious (I absolutely loved the vanity room); the bed was exceptionally comfortable, the pool was clean, and, last but not least, we were served an amazing breakfast every morning. My stay was beyond good. It was enchanting!

We just wanted a nice weekend away for our selves and the cottage at Woodville B & B was perfect. Stefan and Desiree were perfect hosts. The cottage was nicer than we expected. We also enjoyed the landscape including the chickens who greeted us everyday!

Our stay was amazing from start to finish. Great food centrally located to great wineries and a short drive to Charlottesville. The owners were incredibly helpful and friendly, the food was amazing and the room was top notch.

Woodville Bed and Breakfast was truly delightful. The home is beautifully remodeled and furnished but feels appropriate to the period of the home (Victorian?). Good central AC, furnishing, bathroom (fully updated), new beds and linens and a location to die for. The view and grounds are unreal. There's also a heated pool with a newly installed heating system! Stefan and Desiree are lovely hosts and very approachable and accommodating. Stephan makes a BIG and mean breakfast. He's got culinary training and clearly knows what he was doing. My partner and I hope to come back.

The bathroom was spacious as it was gorgeous and the shower was awesome; great water pressure and hot water all weekend. The bed was one of the best I’ve slept on and the bedding was nothing short of spectacular. The entire home is cozy and quiet and was warm all weekend. The house was full Saturday night and my girlfriend and I couldn’t tell anyone else was home. The Inn Owners did this restoration RIGHT! Breakfast: Woodville’s breakfast was amazing. Over our two night stay we had the pleasure of enjoying two freshly made breakfasts with them. All the food is made fresh daily from local sources including an on property garden and chicken coop. Great selection of tea and the locally sourced coffee was great touch. Property: The property is gorgeous from the Vineyard and Mountain Views to the overall setting of the home at the top of the Hill. Location: Charlottesville and the surrounding areas have become popular for scenic views and the ever growing winery industry and Woodville makes it a perfect location to get to several of the region’s top and upcoming wineries within minutes.

There is a heated pool with a beautiful garden as well as rocking chairs on the front and back porches. There are also 2 rooms that have access to the 2nd floor balcony with seating and a table. Everything was very clean and the linens were luxurious. Stephan makes a great breakfast with the freshest of ingredients. Desiree also makes wonderful bread! Their dog, Willow, is beautiful and friendly but not intrusive. We felt like welcomed guests and can't wait to go back!

Stefan’s attention and kindness extended to an unexpected Happy Hour on the porch and we sat watching the sunset, fuelled by a selection of cheeses and 2 exceptional local wines. We occupied a top floor room and bathroom, richly furnished and very comfortable. With deep oriental rugs throughout on wooden floors this property has been made an extremely attractive place to stay and we only wish we could have stayed longer. First class cooked breakfast with home-grown fruit, locally sourced sausage, bacon and eggs rounded off a truly memorable visit. Stefan asked us to be truthful in feedback - we were unable to find fault. A pity we live 5000 miles away! We have subsequently stayed in similarly priced B and Bs which, whilst we would recommend, did not meet the same exceptional standard as Woodville.
