The property was very nice and clean and staff was very helpful. There were missing refrigerators in a few of our rooms but they brought me one up. There were also a few things closed due to renovations. Other then that it was nice and I really enjoyed the pool area

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. In close proximity to many restaurants and shopping. This isn’t the hotel for you if you like quiet. Rooms are small also. But really good location, very clean, accessible.

Pool menu needs work as does in room dining. A lot of construction while I was there but that's just life. Staff was awesome, I must have talked to Raul every morning.

I stayed at the W Scottsdale for my birthday, and unfortunately it was a miss. The biggest issue was the room. There were stains on the sheets that made it look like they hadn’t been properly washed. The whole room felt dated. The only bright spot was the team at the Wetdeck. They were awesome, friendly, fast, and made the pool area actually enjoyable. Outside of that, the rest of the stay was disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a clean, updated room for a special occasion.

The front desk staff on arrival was wonderful-especially Khayla . Some areas were closed due to renovations and a large group of conventioneers pretty much took over the hotel. Our room was clean and average- no view. Prices for rooms were high. The on-site restaurant, Sexy Roman,was delicious and the staff impeccable.

The spa was absolutely amazing, the pool was wonderful, the bar was fun with wonderful servers, and the entire staff was amazing. My only complaint was the room service lacked options and had hidden fees that almost doubled the cost, but aside from that, I highly recommend!! I will be back and will stay again at a W hotel!!

I was very disappointed that the TV was not working. The staff did come up but it took awhile for them to get it back on line with the cable company. I was very upset because I couldn't take a nap because they were in my room working on the tv. I was very tired from my long flight from the night before.

I understand the bougie vibe attracts a lot of hustlers… but it’s super tacky and quite frankly disrespectful, when as guests of the hotel, we were treated so poorly by security when we tried to access the pool. Such a shame! Otherwise it was a lovely stay! Amazing restaurant, the cart bartender lady is a gem and truly understands the hospitality experience. Bravo to an amazing team all around… except for that one guy by the back entrance to the pool! Ah, the ice cream and champagne surprise at the lobby was incredible!!!

The food in the new resturant ‘Sexy Roman’ was amazing. The service at the pool bar was very good. The ancillary staff no so much they actually turned the mobile air conditioner away from my wife and myself to use it to circulate air around the room. This was done when we were the only 2 there. Room was clean and well appointed.

It’s a lovely hotel, the rooms are clean and the hotel staff are generally great This really isn’t a hotel for a solo traveller over the age of about 35. That being said, I got the emails that it was a party and I chose to stay there anyway

Couldn’t get the air conditioner to cool down the whole room. The double queen bed on the 5th floor was spacious. The shower water temp is easily very hot. We tried the Roman restaurant for lunch and it was delicious.

I called and spoke with the concierge twice regarding booking a dinner reservation for my stay. Upon arrival, the front desk had no clue about the reservation and it was not booked. The pool only has maybe 20 chairs for hotel guests. The rest of the seating around the pool (the good seating with ample shade) is reserved for bottle service only. The pool manager confiscated my shirt that I left on a “reserved” pool chair for purchase at 10 am while I was grabbing food 50 feet away. I didn’t realize the rules and was asking around if anyone had seen where my shirt went. There were no towels at the pool until 2 pm. I had to go up to my room to get a towel. All the pool chairs that had pool towels on it were dirty from the day before. The AC in the room didn’t work very well. I will not be returning.

The beds were really small and uncomfortable. We were told there is golf cart shuttle that will drop us off within a certain distance, when we used it , we realized there was a fee for using it- it turned out to be more expensive than Uber . I think they need to take care of their hotel guests better considering the price for staying at this hotel. Only positive thing was the location.

Close to downtown, could walk everywhere. The pool is large with plenty of lounge chairs and seating area. Drinks and food are outrageously priced. On a very slow week, we were placed on the East side of the hotel that was right next to construction and loud bars with music going until 2am. We easily could've been placed on the West side with a thoughtful staff member considering the situation at hand. Would stay there again and request and interior room with a garden/pool view or West facing room.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Staff were always available and extremely helpful. The resort has a nice modern touch with a beautiful pool area. I will definitely be coming back!

Bottom line, don’t expect to bring any outside drinks or snacks needing refrigeration to fit unless you empty the fridge. The safe was acting finicky at times so let the front-desk staff know. Finally, the bed - I’ve stayed at other Marriott hotels with comfier beds. I would probably return to this property in the future considering how everything in the area is in walking distance and the customer service was excellent!

Worst customer service I have ever been to. I have been to multiple W hotels around the world, yet this was by far the worst location in terms of customer service and staff. I am not sure how the W gave them the license to run this location. Terrible, would never book again!

The staff om a couple days were not friendly around the pool. To get my room cleaned I had to request it daily even thoygh at check out I requested daily room cleaning.

I booked a 3-night stay at W Hotels from 5.24.2024 to 5.27.2024. On 5.25.24, the hotel hosted a pool party run by a third-party vendor, open to paying outside guests and hotel guests at no charge. My guest and I occupied 2 pool chairs, and during my time there, I briefly napped on one. After waking up and eating, staff asked us to leave, citing my nap as the reason. I explained I was a hotel guest and requested to speak with a manager, but none arrived despite promises (I have 2 separate videos of different staff saying they were retrieving help/ management). Instead we were notified police were called, so we left the pool area and returned to our room. As we entered our room, Police officers came to our door and we were told to leave within 15 minutes or face trespassing charges. Hotel manager Stephanie Baxter offered to comp one night but denied further compensation, despite my video evidence supporting my account. I offered to send her the videos to eliminate hearsay but she refused. Shaun Baker was supposed to follow up but didn't. Malika Sidler promised to send pool rules but never did. I had to reach out to Nate Lopez several times before getting a hold of him. He stated we were asked to leave by Police because we were being defiant, however the Police asked us to leave as direct orders from the Hotel Ownership. We were left stranded and incurred additional cost for a new hotel. I am in process of seeking a full refund of $1,131.72 for this disappointing experience.

The construction of the building is subpar...meaning the walls and windows are paper thin. I was placed in a room facing the nightlife which is fine..but the noise penetrated through the windows as if I had them open.

Staff was amazing Walking into our room on the second floor there was such a strong smell of ammonia and bleach through our the hallway that made our eyes water for an hour or so. Furthermore, the room had lights that had no switches and we had to have the room in low light bc there was no way to turn on the lamps.

This move totally defeated the purpose of my trip. I have never had this happen before and I hold Hotels.com responsible..and will never use your service again.

The proximity to the nightlife. The rooms are very small and the bathroom is an overgrown hall closet. Very oddly situated with no privacy at all. Limited counter space. The bathroom was an afterthought it seems.

My biggest issue is the access to the pool. We had 16 people staying at the property for the Cowboys game. The doorman “james” refused to let us access the only bar/breakfast area before we left for the game. Also the previous day we had the same issue with the door guy allowing us access to the pool due to us wearing “cowboys” gear. The rules need to be posted or a little more defined especially for guests staying at the hotel.

Some of the staff were often not very friendly and had a lot of attitude. They also misinformed my friends and I several times. Staff also didn't clean our room.

Bouncers and ropes at the front entrance, had to prove we were staying at the hotel every time we came back. Had to prove we were staying at the hotel if we wanted to go anywhere near the pool. Loud partying from guest rooms in the middle of the night, no relief from hotel staff. Just ridiculous.

Way overpriced and extremely loud.

Hotel was very nice and great staff with the exception of a rude gentleman at check in. He was very arrogant during check in two days in a row (once for myself and the other for friends). Hotel was extremely pricey and caught us off guard both for the room and the bars/restaurants on the property.

If you ever wonder where creepy 50 year olds go to relive the glory of their college spring break trips, here it is. Also if you are not a fan of “house music”, don’t plan to spend time at either the pool or lounge.

Everything is good but the room should have extra blankets. Hard to regulate room temperature.
