Check-in and check-out are quick and easy, staff are friemdly and helpful, the pool is great, and rooms are comfortable and clean. It's been great for weekend stays and for one day stays for the pool.

The parking is always easy

1st time staying here and after my 2.5 days here I will be back! Front desk staff was nice and friendly, the room was spacious just wish I had a pool or lake view. The pool area was easy to access and had lots of seating available. Even though I received a $20 dining credit due to my plans I didn't get a chance to use it at the onsite restaurant. Luckily the bar manager accommodated the voucher for drinks even though she was closing. Overall had a fantastic stay and will definitely book again for a staycation.

This hotel was great for being only $100. No complaints when the one down the street cost 3x as much. Great value and friendly staff. We had a $20 voucher and used it to get breakfast to go the next morning.

The hotel is nice and pretty clean. Found a big spider crawling around in the bathroom, though. Our room has a nice view of the pond/lake. I checked my bank account the next day after checking out & was shocked to see the different charges. We already paid for the room through Hotels.com so there shouldn’t be anymore charges except incidentals. I called the front desk & she said the charges were a mistake & they’re fixing it. It may take 10 days to drop off! Never staying at the McCormick again.

The only complaint I have is that there were no Bell-Hops, no one to assist with my luggage.

The staff were all great. Super friendly & polite. Julie M. was working the front desk in the afternoons & she was so welcoming, professional and friendly. The young lady working the morning at the front desk was so nice. The lake was great to go sit & relax at. There were folks riding kayaks & paddle boats laughing & enjoying themselves. We would stay there again for another getaway for sure.

The McCormick has always been the go-to for my wife and I when we are down from Payson because the atmosphere, the clean rooms, awesome pool, awesome part of town, the food, the service, we've never had one bad experience there can't go wrong

As soon as we walked into the lobby, and for the duration of our stay, there was an overwhelmingly strong rotten egg or sulphuric smell throughout the main reception and throughout the hotel. We (as must have all other guests) asked the front desk receptionist about it and she responded like we were fussy or off-base. Hopefully it’s not a methane gas leak. Thankfully we’re gone now. Unacceptable given the choices of accommodations in this area. Avoid at all costs.

We have stayed at hotel before, and rooms were clean but upon arrival in May the room wasn't clean. The room was located in a corner location not the type or view we received on previous occasions. We reported the problems to front desk twice on two separate days and I also showed them pictures of the problem. Our sheets weren't changed and additional towels weren't delivered even though we requested changes. Really disappointed, we really like the hotel and location.

McCormick isn’t an ultra-fine stay but I like the lake, free kayak & paddle boat. Pool area is lakeside. I like it’s location and cost considering it’s in Scottsdale.

The hotel overall feels very old and outdated. The first room we were given had an AC that did not work, making the room extremely hot and uncomfortable. While the staff tried to help, the overall condition of the property did not meet expectations. For the price and location in Scottsdale, I expected a much better experience.

When we checked into our rooms I realized I accidentally booked 2 double beds instead of 1 king for my husband and I and staff was very helpful in getting us another room. Staff overall were extremely friendly/kind. The bed/sheets were extremely comfortable and the AC was cold so we slept really well. The tub drain was slow so it filled up as we were showering but I just made sure to shower first 😂 it was mostly annoying, not anything to bother anyone about. Would recommend.

This hotel is very weathered. Definitely needs a remodel. Not impressed with the room at all. Furniture needs to be replaced. Simply looks trashed. If you are looking for a luxury stay at a fabulous resort, this isn’t the place for you. If you aren’t spending a great deal of time in the hotel or the room and you want a budget hotel, this is for you. The pool looks just fine. Good for a splash with kids but nothing special. The furniture in the lobby is in poor shape. What I did love and appreciate was the staff. Very friendly. Professional. Flexible and kind. This includes the Irma in the restaurant. The front desk and house keeping.

Possibly the worst stay ever. We were woken up at 5am the first night by a child yelling and when we called the front desk no one picked up. Police had to be called to make sure the matter was attended to. We requested house keeping and they never came until we complained a few times. There were bugs in the room and the screen door was broken. Overall a horrible stay.

Breakfast was delicious, the stairs carpet should be updated and cleaned better. The bathroom in the room has been updated but the mattress was not comfortable and moved when you are turning. The bedding could be nicer. The air conditioner is very loud and it’s required the ear plugs. The sound proof also required. Overall it’s ok.

We always stay at the McCormick for a quick staycation. Dependable, great views, really nice staff!

This property is very run down and in need of a major renovation. The from desk staff were very friendly but the bar/ dining area was understaffed.

We checked in on Mother’s Day, the restaurant/bar closed two hours prior to check-in but the staff were very accommodating. Our room was very clean. The pool was refreshing and nice to sit by. The lake is not for swimming, but it is good for looking at and you can putt around on a pedal boat, kayak or canoe so that was a plus! They also have free bicycle rentals so you can explore around the property. They have fishing tackle you can use which we didn’t but while we were paddling around on the boat, we were able to witness multiple fish jump. It was a very nice day and a wonderful Mother’s Day,

Staff and amenities are worth the stay! We upgraded to a lake view room and very happy we did. Wonderful view and surprise fireworks show during wedding reception across the lake. Will return to utilize the kayaks and pool more!

We love staying at the McCormick. The room cleanliness is superb, kudos to the housekeeping staff for doing a superb job of keeping the rooms clean and tidy. The patio is an amazing place to enjoy the view with a cocktail and good company. The pool is great for relaxing and cooling down on a hot day. The facility is showing its age and is in need of refreshing. The carpets are dated and worn. The hallways are in need of better lighting and a facelift; they are plain and not very comforting. Our bed was okay, but the mattress needs to be replaced soon. The marketplace area needs to be improved, especially the frozen items that seemed to be freezer-burned. Make some major improvements or do away with it altogether. Food was great, but the bartender/server seemed very overwhelmed, especially on a busy night. He did his best and was kind and apologetic for the extended wait times in getting the food or drink to your table, but we understood his predicament. Kudos to him for doing his best and having such a positive attitude while doing it. The grounds are very well kept and clean. We enjoyed our stay and will be back, hopefully, some much-needed improvements will be made.

Breakfast is always wonderful. Very fresh and delicious! One item I recommend if you like toast asked for two complete toast. Normally they cut one piece into two. Maybe is just my preference. Other than that is good great choices!

I booked a room on the first floor & it was conveniently located to the swimming pool. I liked the convenience of being able to walk back & forth to swim. Our room had a view of the pool and the lake. On Friday they had pool service for food & drinks. The restaurant bar & patio was next to the pool which was perfect for me due to my limited mobility. The menu has a nice variety. I enjoyed Breakfast, Lunch, & dinner. Excellent food & Drinks. The chairs on the patio are very comfortable. “Terry” our waiter & server was fabulous. He’s on top of his game! Personable & Creative with cocktails. Delicious

While an older property that could use some fresh paint inside and carpets cleaned all in all I would stay there again. The staff is very nice & helpful, they offer unlimited free bottles of cold water & the restaurant cooks are really very good! The pool was clean and comfortable & the bar is open all day. The location is good for getting around with free self parking.

Underwhelmed. Pictures on web nicer than actual. Smelling cigarettes from employee areas permeated entrance. Horrible service for dinner-ended up leaving site to go out to eat for lack of service. Rooms clean but old. Not inviting place to stay beds needed replacing. Not worth money spent.

The view and location are amazing. The pool stayed clean and functional the whole time. The hotel could use a remodel and locks on bathroom doors. Due to competitive pricing, awesome views, and perfect location - we would come back again.

We went to the restaurant for breakfast around 9.00 but no servers were available. We waited at a table on the patio first and after noone came to us we waited inside. We ended up leaving without anything

Great stay

The grounds of this property are beautiful, set on a picturesque lake with a golf course backdrop. Free fishing, paddle boats and kayaks are available, plus the pool is large and clean. The hotel itself is older and while there has been some remodeling, the rooms still have wall-mount AC units, traditional tubs, and lack a more modern design. However, the bed was comfortable and the rate was a great value.

Terry was the kindest server/bartender and made the stay so enjoyable! We also love Irma's kind heart. We will be back. The property is well maintained and the views are stunning.

The McCormick building has a great location and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. We used many outdoor areas for morning coffee, the pool and drinks outside in the evenings. The building is older and the rooms dated if that is important to you but all was clean and near by old town scottsdale and restaurants. We had coffee and a dinner on site and were very happy. Beautiful views of the pond and golf course behind.

This hotel is in a beautiful spot and could be a top notch hotel, but there are not enough staff to manage this place, The service was sorely lacking and the hotel seemed deserted. We had paid for early check-in, but when we arrived by 1pm, were told no rooms were available. At 4pm, we had to continuously check if our room was ready. We had ordered a bottle of wine and a bucket of beer to be delivered to the room. Neither showed up and when we checked out, all of these charges were on our bill. The front desk did not apologize for any of this, they just removed the charges, There should be a full staff in order for this hotel to run properly.

Alfred the manager was very nice and helpful. The hotel desperately needs an update. Our room has mosquitoes and little bugs flying around the lights when we got there and not just one or two.

The ONLY place I stay in Scottsdale. I have 2 sons that reside in the area however this property is absolutely beautiful, plenty of amenities, DOG friendly, great food and pool, clean, friendly staff and a hidden gem.

The staff was excellent. Wendell was especially helpful and courteous. The lakeside-view room was great. We will definitely return there. Only suggestion we would have is for you to provide complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby area for guests.

The hotel seems in need of refreshing. It was dreary and gave the impression that a lot of amenities or services have been cut: no bellmen (and very rickety luggage carts for guests to use), broken patio door, ice machine not working, signage (such as for parking, etc., and which entrances to use) was unclear. We did not use the pool or have any meals because we checked out after the first night. I will say that the bar and bartender were excellent!

Pool was a comfortable temperature. Towels aren't available in pool area, we and others I saw had to double back to the front desk to request one. There's isn't a hot tub or much shade.We gave our ID & CC and were told we would notified when room was ready, that didn’t happen. When i went back to front desk, some folks were being given their key. I had to give my ID and CC again. Our room overlooked parking lot. Elevator is funky. Having lunch on the patio by the lake was nice.

We had a few issues with screen door to deck, loud noise coming from the refrigerator and coffee not restocked each day! I would suggest coffee and tea provided in the lobby for a few hours in the morning!

Unfortunately outdated facilities. Needs a $15 million upgrade. Lighting in rooms inadequate, grimy stairwells and hallways, restaurant OK but understaffed. Great location ,but for the money I wouldn't stay there again.

This is the worst property we stayed during our extensive travel home and abroad. The property advertising is very deceptive. Property is old, not taken care of. We paid extra for a Superior room which had only two electric outlet, hair dryer did not work, coffee machine did not work, faucet in the bathroom was moving, quality of towels and even bathroom tissues were of cheap motels. For the money we paid there was not even a separate standing shower, it was in a bathtub. Furnirure was old and paint was falling off. They had one old Hispanic lady taking care of multiple guests in the breakfast room. It was worst experience we ever had. And you should not list this property in your web site.

Property was clean and simple to navigate The staff exhibited unprofessional behavior. When I inquired about my breakfast, they responded with an attitude. Despite paying for breakfast to be included, I was unable to enjoy it due to the staff’s inaction. They failed to offer me anything to eat or drink for 15-20 minutes while I was seated at the dinner table. I attempted to address this issue twice during dinner and lunch, but the same outcome occurred. The staff never acknowledged my toddler or myself. As a result, I had to make an effort to drive to another restaurant. I had previously checked in early and was approved. Upon arrival, the staff informed me that my room was not yet prepared. I had been driving for several hours and was eager to rest, but I was met with disappointing news and rude staff. Despite not being able to stand up for myself I was fearful of speaking up because I was traveling alone with my child and felt excluded and dismissed. The only staff member who was kind to my son and myself was the cleaning lady. I appreciate her kindness.

The location of the property was good. Restaurants and shopping nearby. The property is dated, not to standard with rates and location. There was ants crawling on the bedroom desk, reception area looked old and dirty.

On Valentine’s Day, we dined at the hotel restaurant and observed that only one employee was bartending, taking orders, and serving food. We waited 15 minutes to be seated for breakfast and an additional 20 minutes without anyone taking our order. We ultimately left due to the excessive wait and concern that one staff member was managing the entire operation. The overall condition of the hotel appeared run down, with chipped paint and noticeable maintenance issues. The walls in the rooms are extremely thin—you can clearly hear hallway foot traffic and doors closing as if they are inside your own room. We stayed on the second floor, where there is only one small elevator serving three floors. Front desk staff seemed poorly trained and appeared bothered during check-in. Most concerning, on our final day, vouchers were slid under our door that contained another guest’s full name and room number. This is a serious privacy violation. When we raised this concern with the front desk, they dismissed it as a minor mistake for being “unexpectedly busy” and short staffed on Valentine's day weekend. 🙄 Misleading amenities, poor service, maintenance issues, and privacy breach, we dont recommend.

The hotel is ok. Pillows are pretty hard to sleep on. Breakfast staff was short and annoyed. The coffee machine was broken. Overall it was disappointing

The walls are paper thin. It is extremely loud. The cleaning staff start at 8, so every morning you are woken up to the sound of the vacuum and thrashing about while the crew cleans. The beds were extremely lumpy and uncomfortable. Mattresses were old and outdated.

Hotel had a nice vibe. I enjoyed the suite overlooking the pool and lake. I enjoyed watching the sunset from the room and enjoyed the "noise" from the pool area that would play music during reasonable hours. I don't normally like that, but at this resort I loved it. Liked having the option to dine in the restaurant on the property. Room and bathroom was clean. Overall, it's a beautiful resort.

The restaurant staff was amazing as was the quietness of the place. However, for those people who need outlets for CPap machines, there was not enough. If the hotel would just purchase those cubes, all would be great. The alarm outlets did not work. Very frustrating.

I loved the mid century charm of th Hotel McCormick . I loved facing the pool and water . My room was huge and I had a great nights sleep . Great service from Kenton at the bar made my stay all the more enjoyable .Many Thanks

The property is maybe a tiny bit older, but nothing is falling apart. The view is incredible. Staff and service is wonderful. We will definitely stay here again. Any issue that we may have had immediately addressed and I am very picky.

I've stayed at this resort several times. I have always had the best service, clean rooms, and a lovely time in the pool. It is affordable and in a nice place. I highly recommend it for business travel or for family trips. I'm going back for spring training!

Had a really nice stay and staff was great. Hotel is showing its age, but was adequate and clean for our purposes. Really enjoyed the pool and they had canoes and pedal boats to use on the lake, just didn't have a chance to because the recent storm raised the water level so much temporarily. Had breakfast at the restaurant and it was really good, with the view being the best part.

I checked them in the day before the stay so I could drop some gifts and my interaction with the front desk was great as well. My only con is the lobby area was not air conditioned as the rooms and the halls by the rooms. Unfortunately in late September in Arizona it’s still very hot (high 90 low 100) so waiting to check in I started to get warm.

Love this place!

Very comfortable, romantic, and in the perfect location! The only thing that was missing would be microwaves in the rooms, so that we can heat up our leftovers from dinner without having to go to the lobby.

We went to breakfast at 8:30, came back in an hour and they had come into the room on their own and turned it for the next guest. Hotel is Old and Dated not anything like it used to be. Will NEVER stay here again.

We had a great stay staff very friendly and helpful, love the free water they provide you, amazing pool and lake with such fun amenities. Bed very comfortable, pool view was amazing, location so convenient and close to alot. Only complaint is seem old run down when in the hallways, and no air vent in bathrooms but for the price and all the amenities makes up for that.

We liked that we were upgraded to a better room, and thank you for making the $20 voucher available to VIP/Platinum members, however we did I t get a chance to use it as we visited the restaurant twice different times and both times we were ignored. We were not greeted or helped after 10 mins of waiting we left. We gave them a second chance and came back in the afternoon….. still nothing. Woman there acted like we were not even there, I handed the vouchers to the receptionist at check out.

We checked in and went to our room, only to to find it was a King size bed when wanted a double, and the bed was unmade. 🙄 The reservation desk gave us a new room with double beds but one of the beds were sagging in the middle which made it an uncomfortable sleep. 💤 Over it was just okay.

The pool bar wasn't open. The music wasn't loud enough to hear. The burger I ordered took 25 minutes to be delivered which was the wrong burger. It was not the Southwest burger that I ordered, it cdid not have the avocado tortilla strips proper cheese nor aioli sauce. The bartender took my order back to the kitchen twice keeping the same burger which was just warm when returned to me.

My room was clean and smelled good upon entering. The outlet that the coffee pot was set up at did not work, also both headboard reading lights did not work. Needs a once over. Staff seemed overwhelmed and no overnight housekeeping. Leaves everything to the front desk. The room itself I asked for housekeeping to refresh and change linen as there was a visible stain on the lower part. Never was provided a change only a sheet cover after the second request.

The property sits on a lovely little lake and golf purse and has kayaking, canoeing, Pickleball, and tennis available… I enjoyed my stay

The bartender, Terry, is the best!! He added a level of friendliness and conversation that made our experience truly amazing! We will be back! We also had a wonderful experience checking in. The woman at the front desk was kind and welcoming. I highly recommend staying here.

The staff was really pleasant and very helpful! The hotel is definitely older and has a really funky smell like sewer or it might be from the lake that surrounds the hotel. Not really sure. Really pretty views and really nice outdoor area.

Wasn’t our best stay, the resort was very warm inside restaurant/bar and lobby. Food was not great and our room has a ceiling full of bugs. The bar service was decent but overall below par stay.

The overall property left a less-than-stellar first impression. Upon arrival, the exterior and common areas felt somewhat run-down, and there was noticeable partying on the decks with guests being loud. We were concerned that the environment would affect the quality of our stay and weren’t sure what to expect. Fortunately, our room itself was clean, quiet, and spacious, which was a pleasant surprise and made for a more comfortable stay than we initially anticipated.

It's the perfect "home away from home", offering much-needed comfort and relaxation during my weekly medical treatments at the Mayo Clinic. The rooms are always clean, and the beds and pillows are so comfortable. The restaurant is a true highlight, with fantastic food and breathtaking lake views. A huge thank you to Ryan for her wonderful service in the restaurant and bar!

This is a nice little staycation getaway my boyfriend and I found. Extremely reasonably priced, not too crowded, pool is nice, and the staff is super friendly. There are kayaks, canoes, and paddle boats you can take out onto the lake.

We had such a great time. We stay here a lot actually. Everything and everyone is always so nice. Rebecca at the front desk was amazing! The view, atmosphere, amenities, service and food is always perfect and this time we went out on the lake in the canoes!! That was super fun! Getting ready to book our next stay.

Our stay at The McCormick Scottsdale, AZ was absolutely wonderful! We loved the perfect atmosphere, the beautiful lake view, and the delicious food. The staff truly made our visit special, especially Irma, who was a fantastic bartender and food server. It's also incredibly convenient for us, being so close to the Mayo Clinic where I receive cancer treatment.

Ryann the outside bartender was awesome!!! Chatted with her all afternoon during pool time Loved our room#236! I want that room every time 😁

The room, other than bedding and towels, was filthy. Floors, walls, windows, chair even....have not been cleaned in goodness knows how long. Walls had MANY stains. Front desk people greeted me twice in entire time I was there. Maybe that's not an expectation...fair enough....but I'm used to hotels in this price range having excellent and friendly service, greeting you when you pass by/enter leave/so on. Houskeeping and engineering on the other hand were very friendly. Service at the pool...unsure if it exists or not. Out of 5 days at the pool I was asked twice if I wanted to order anything. One time was fine. The other time I was there for a couple of hours and had to hunt down the server to get my bill before I left as Id not seen her again. At that point she asked repeatedly if I was sure I didnt want to order anything else including lunch. Um...I would have!? Not clear on extra amenities offered like kayaks or bikes. Information was not offered and I did not ask. Did use gym. Again, quite dirty. All in all stay was average. Hotel is definitely overpriced for what it offers. Theyre getting by based on their location which if thats whats important...fair enough. Just be careful in the parking lot as it is very dark. Did not feel safe unless parked directly underneath one of the few lights.

--- Everything was fine at check-in and the room itself was okay, but the experience during our last night was very upsetting. We had planned to have a quiet dinner at the hotel restaurant, especially since we were traveling with my grandson. The posted hours said the restaurant closes at 8 p.m. on Thursdays, but when we arrived at 7 p.m., we were told it was already closed. The man in charge offered no explanation or apology—just a flat "it's closed," which left us scrambling for other options at the last minute. To make matters worse, this same employee had earlier tossed my credit card back at me after I purchased a couple of drinks at the bar. His attitude throughout was unprofessional and frankly rude. At checkout, the front desk attendant didn’t ask how our stay was or whether we needed anything else—basic hospitality that was completely lacking. The overall level of customer service at this hotel is below expectations. The only two staff members who made a positive impression were Anita at check-in and Irma at breakfast—both of whom were professional and helpful. Unfortunately, their efforts were overshadowed by the overall disappointing experience. Very disappointed.

This was a very good choice for staying in Scottsdale. The price was good even after taking into account a $35 resort fee, which is something a lot of places do these days. There is an excellent view of a small lake and golf course. Room was comfortable with the minor exception of a platform under the bed that I kept stubbing my toe on. if that’s the worst thing I can say then I guess I have no complaints.LOL

We were a little disappointed with the first room we were assigned as it was on the first floor with no view. We also were not recognized as Expedia gold members. We did submit a complaint about this as the front staff handled it the next morning and moved us to a beautiful room with a lake view. The pool was great and offered drinks and food after a certain time. The property is a little older but very clean and had everything we needed. Would stay again.

This property is a bit dated and can really use some upkeep. Our room was pretty clean but in some deep need of repairs. The parking lot was in such disrepair that it was hard to roll luggage through it. Then my last day they were doing some sort of construction in the room next door with hammers, saws and people yelling starting at 7am which is way too early in my opinion. I won’t be staying at this property again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

We always try to get the lakeside room's,great views. The rooms are clean and spacious. The beds are comfortable. The only thing I would say negative is that they need to upgrade the mini fridge. There was no freezer in it and we had no microwave in the room. Other than that we had a great stay.

The bartenders during the week day were amazing. The wait staff was awesome. We never wanted for a thing! We had dinner in the restaurant, the stuffed chicken breast, it was tender & the vegetables were incredible. We also hung out at the bar for live music. Our bedroom was very clean and updated. The bathroom was very spacious. Nothing like a long hot shower. The water pressure was incredible!! We highly recommend The McCormick.

This hotel is in a great location. It is super clean and the staff is awesome! Every single one we interacted with was super friendly and helpful. The restaurant had ver good food and a super staff. The room was great but could use a little updating with a bigger coffee maker but overall it was great and we will stay here again!!

In order to warm / utilize a microwave, you had to go down to the main lobby area to heat up your food. (such an inconvenience). It rained the weekend that we were there, and it leaked of rainwater from the rooftop to the inside of the building and the interior. To prevent the leaks from coming down onto the floors, they placed buckets throughout the resort, in which every floor had buckets to catch the water/rain to prevent flooding onto the floors. Water was actually running down from the inside of the walls. With all the rain /water coming in, it left a disgusting smell throughout the building. There is a major roofing and/or plumbing issues that needs to be fixed.

The front staff not particularly engaging. While rooms clean they are spartan. Daily WiFi registration was frustrating. Boats for the lake were in poor condition. A broken patio chair was replaced with another type that was also broken. Restaurant understaffed, tables bare and worn. Basically no investment into the property. No interest in this or any other Millenium properties.

Great staff, just a dated motel type hotel!

I took my kids for spring break, all fun activities are between 10 min. Area looks safe and easy to.drive around. Price was little expensive maybe because i didn't book with time but it was worth it.

Lobby great, outdoor facilities great! The checkin staff and check out were good! Price for our room was way too high for a below average room!! The room had old furnishings, headboard dirty, bathroom door was beat up, and dirty, dusty bathroom; hair on desk chair.

I requested a late check out at the front desk upon checking in. This was accommodated. But house keeping repeatedly came into my room while I was working prior to my checkout time and was disruptive (not house keeping’s fault this obviously was just not communicated by front desk and it was very chaotic)

My hotel room had cockroaches and chunks of leftover hair in the bathroom from the last people who stayed in the room. Outlets weren't working and beds were not comfortable.

Property is in poor condition. During our stay, water was leaking through ceiling throughout the hallways and pouring down the walls into buckets. Furniture in our room was all scratched up and old. Very noisy, hard to sleep.

Front desk staff was nice but the men in the restaurant were interesting. One guy was not very friendly. The property was leaking BAD when it rained a buckets everywhere. The outdoor pool and fire pits were nice. Location is good.

Overall nice clean we enjoyed are stay there.

Very disappointing. Restaurant choices were very limited. Bathroom was nice & clean. Beware, your room may be very far away from the elevator. We had to walk down 3 very long hallways to get to our room. They need another elevator to split the difference.

Overpriced, needs refurbishing and updating. Guy in next room coughed all night, prevented my from sleeping.

We didn't have time to enjoy all the amenities since we were visiting family in the area. The staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were small but comfortable. The space was clean but outdated and worn out.

A great rate for Scottsdale at peak season in the heart of McCormick Ranch. Nice room. Nice staff. Restaurant outdoor seating and a view of the lake. I’ll stay here again when I need to come back to Scottsdale.

Old dirty building three days homemade service had to go find towels definitely needs. A remodel. Walls are paper thin I’ll never stay there again. The air conditioner sounded like a freight train awful

Be careful with this place. If you want a nostalgic experience from the late 70s go here. The beds have springs you can feel. I could hear the guy next door on his phone on speaker. I could hear the whole conversation clearly. Not because I have great hearing but because the walls were so paper thin. I think it’s an okay place but I wouldn’t call it a resort or luxury. It’s an okay place. If you want to hear your neighbor taking a shower listening to lady Gaga the. This is the place for it.

On My second night at your hotel the neighbors were partying really loud at 4am until I left at 8. They woke me up and continued to be noisy. It was pretty bad

When we arrived overall, hotel was nice, but it was a little old looking inside. I expected more, especially for the price that I paid. I booked a king size bed, and because the hotel overbooked, they put us in a double room with two beds. They did not inform us when we checked in that this would be happening and had to go to the front desk just for them to tell us that they can credit us back the $30 resort fee. Since it was a smaller bed, me and my husband slept on separate beds, and our beds were very uncomfortable and the mattresses were very old. Like I said before for the price that I paid I expected more from this hotel, especially at being in Scottsdale. I’ll definitely not be staying here again and will tell all my friends and family that this isn’t the place to stay, don’t waste your money

Older property but very nice and clean - beautiful area

We notified front desk supervisor that the wedding party on our floor was slamming doors smoking pot yelling partying talking loudly till 5am. All night. She said well the weddings tonight so it won’t get better. And sure enough the same happened. We kept texting her so she would go something. She never one time and then never again. At the price point we paid 375.00 a night i expected more. Partying in the hallways front desk not doin anything and the front desk girl was rude. I’m not goin to go back and I will leave a google review reflecting my stay.

The iconic McCormick Ranch in Scottsdale, turned out to be very disappointing. This property needs complete renovation. It is very very old. The rooms are outdated. Everything from hallways to furniture. Definitely need a lift.

Cleaning service was not done even after asking, causing discomfort after our long day of outing.

room and they arranged no problems. Second room was very clean , bed was so so. I was not happy with the pet friendly status and then find out there was a non refundable pet deposit of $100! The hotel is outdated , I would not stay again. Also Expedia should put the non refundable pet deposit on the website .

Elevator not working and we were on the 3rd floor and elderly. Staff offered to change floors but already unpacked and going to function and checking out the next morning.

I’ve stayed at Millennium Hotels before with an amazing experience. This visit in Scottsdale was the furthest thing from amazing. The room was dirty. We had bugs on the wall and on the ceiling. They were hanging from webs. One of our double beds was completely destroyed. The middle of the bed was sunken in and extremely uncomfortable. I was traveling with my brother so there was no option to share a bed. The remote control in our room also did not work. After a long day of hiking we couldn’t wait to come back and go downstairs to eat at the hotel. Unfortunately, this experience was terrible also. We sat at the bar and after ten minutes we still weren’t greeted. I went to the front desk to ask if anyone was working. Ten minutes later a gentleman came out and got our drinks. We decided to stay because we were too tired to drive anywhere else. The food was horrible and not described like the menu stated. The chicken sandwich came with a sauce that was not listed on the menu. It was so spicy I couldn’t even eat it. I was thankful the bartender at least took it off our bill. The next night, a Friday night, the restaurant closed early. We found this inconvenient. Also, during our entire trip our entire floor smelled like weed. Not that I mind, but it was a nonstop smell. Lastly, the last two nights of our visit the elevator was broken. Again, inconvenient after a long day of hiking and then had to carry our bags downs three flights of stairs the morning of our departure.

10/10 would love to come back

The hotels around the area were a little pricy so I was a little hesitant when booking because the price was so low. I visited a nearby hotel, the staff was not as friendly and the atmosphere was not inviting. I really enjoyed my stay here and if I ever travelled back I would stay again.
