Reviews
The hotel receives mixed reviews with guests appreciating the easy check-in process, outstanding weeknight rates, great location, friendly staff, and good breakfast. However, there are consistent complaints about the cleanliness of the rooms, outdated furniture, and poor customer service from some staff members. The pool is a highlight for many guests, but the jacuzzi was broken during one guest's stay.
- Easy check-in process
- Great location and weeknight rates
- Subpar room cleanliness
- Outdated furniture and poor customer service from some staff

This is a very nice property. Our room was huge with a lot of amenities, such as a microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, etc. The gym was awesome. Also, the staff were very friendly and helpful. To top it off, the free hot breakfast in the morning was amazing with a lot of choices!
- 5/5
Everything was great. The staff were friendly and attentive. The rooms and hotel itself were clean.

Great breakfast,
- 5/5
The property is close to old Scottsdale which makes it convenient

My luggage came two days after I arrived and the staff kept me informed and called me when it had finally arrived. Justin was awesome!

Clean property, Friendly staff how small the breakfast room was. We were unable to even get into the room because it was so packed.
- 4.5/5
This was a very nice hotel and the staff I encountered were very kind and helpful. It actually seemed very clean. I was initially very impressed. So it was surprising when the floors were visibly dirty. Otherwise it was a pretty nice hotel. Decent breakfast also. I’d definitely stay here again, maybe it was just an off day with housekeeping. The floors could have been so much cleaner. And if I’m being picky the door track to the balcony was hard to open because it needed a good cleaning.

I don’t often write hotel reviews but though we only stayed one night, the Home 2 Suites by Hilton Old Scottsdale is worth it. We had an excellent experience. The room was incredibly spacious with two queen beds, a pull out couch and almost a full kitchen - large fridge, dishwasher, microwave and kitchen supplies. The hotel was very clean. And the breakfast was great - eggs, sausage, waffles, potato pancakes and more. I would highly recommend it.
- 3/5
The hotel itself was nice and in a great location, which I appreciated. However, I’m giving it a 3-star review due to an issue with my reservation. I specifically booked a 1 King Bed suite, but upon arrival, I was given a room with two queen beds instead. I brought this to the staff’s attention and asked if my room could be switched, but I was told no. Considering I stayed for three nights, I believe some type of accommodation or adjustment could have been made. Having worked in the hotel industry before, I know situations like this can often be resolved with a bit more flexibility.

Breakfast was pretty bad as far as our experience. Half of the cooked food was inedible.
- 3/5
We were a little disappointed in the cleanliness of the room though. There was a dirty shirt and socks left in the room. Also the carpets in our room (165) really need to be cleaned. As for the positives, the breakfast was fantastic. My daughter really enjoyed the chicken and waffles. The eggs and coffee were also really good. Lastly, housekeeping is supposed to come to your room every other day during your stay. During our 3 night stay we didn’t have any visits from housekeeping and we certainly could have used one. All in all for the price, this isnt a bad hotel for an extended stay, but dont have too high of expectations or you will be disappointed.
- 1/5
Paper thin walls. You could hear the people above you and next to you simply walking around, and using the bathroom. Couldn’t sleep all night. I will say that the staff was super nice and helpful. I booked a room for two nights, but left after one. The gym was nice.
- 4/5
Cleanliness of hotel including rooms was good. Room Balcony needed to be cleaned. Small balcony only contained small table and 1 chair. Staff were very accommodating and personable. Exercise room and laundry facilities were well equipped. Only concern was lack of security to enforce pool area rules and hotel was non smoking.

It was nice to have a breakfast option—a few more choices would have been nice but overall it was good

There was a smell from the air conditioner along with a light fog in the air, maintenance checked it out and said to turn it off and it would be fixed the next day, didn’t happen. At check in I was told I reserved 2 rooms, one from Expedia and one thru the hotel, T guy said he fixed it, then charged my Card $179 for not canceling within 48 hours. (I was driving from Denver) Had 95 year old mother with me, there were no handicapped accessible devices in the room. Asked for temporary bars for the tub, the brought a fold up plastic chair. Requested handicapped accessible room.
- 5/5
Has a great stay
- 4/5
The room was exceptional, clean, with plenty of room, comfy bed, and comfortable temp, once we figured out that the thermostat was on the wall, not on the air conditioner itself. Hubby had a conference in town on Saturday, so we booked the hotel instead of driving all the way up from Casa Grande that morning. Cost was low for Scottsdale, but worth the money
- 3/5
Breakfast was horrible with little to no change in breakfast items. Yogurt broke.
- 4/5
There was no hot water around 830am when it’s time to get ready to head out. The room floor was sticky with shoe prints/stains. The Staff was great and hospitable though.
- 4/5
Outside was nice and the lobby was clean. Breakfast area was very nice. I understand not changing linen every day but I do think checking the room for garbage and replenish the room coffee should be checked. The sign said garbage would be checked every 2 days. Our stay was 3 days and our garbage was not checked.

Due to only booking one night and the hotel overbooking they changed my reservation to a different room. I had 4 people staying and booked 2 queen beds to accommodate us. Upon arrival we were given 1 king bed with a pull out couch. The staff initially stated that’s what they could see I booked on their end and tried blaming it on Expedia. They said there was nothing they could do and to contact Expedia. Later into the stay a different staff member stated they could see our reservation was for 2 queen beds and additionally stated that we got our room switched because they overbooked and since we were only staying for one night. Very unprofessional lying to guests, not great customer service. Overall would not stay here again. Was made to feel like I did something wrong and was stupid.

- 4/5
room needed to be vaccummed better. bathroom was awkward with door opening in to a small bathroom , just missing the toilet. a barn door would have been better
- 5/5
I only wish they would notice that my room was double booked because it was a last minute reservation and not charge me or at least refund me right away.
- 5/5
The room was clean the staff was very nice and helpful and answered all our questions. I would stay here again.
- 5/5
We were only in town for one night and rented two rooms. We did not make much use of the amenities of the hotel, but it was very clean and nice, and the staff was great. The rooms were large and well-equipped. I asked for a restaurant information for dinner, and she not only gave me printed list, but highlighted her favorites. It's in a great location...near Old Town Scottsdale. The included breakfast was plentiful. We also liked the fact that there was complimentary coffee, tea, and water in the lobby. The place we were at prior to staying there charged for every little thing. Very happy and would stay there again.
- 5/5
Great service and excellent customer care
- 5/5
Breakfast ended too early.
- 5/5
Front desk was super friendly and helpful! Easy to talk to! Housekeeping was nice as well! Rooms were excellent! Bed was comfy. Will definitely revisit!
- 5/5
One thing minus was when my family and I want take a shower one night, the hot water was cold, I called a front desk and they said will call maintenance but didn’t happened, we showered with cold water very fast and we deep showered again the next morning. But I still give 5 stars for this hotel.
- 5/5
Great hotel, great room. Very happy.
- 3/5
Didn’t give us the room we booked through Travelocity. We booked a one bedroom and they put us in a studio with wet carpets.
- 3/5
The noise from the pool started very early in the morning and continued all day. This was very disruptive to overall peace.

- 5/5
Smooth check in, clean and large rooms, great fitness room, decent breakfast. Would stay again.
- 5/5
Breakfast was ok, place was clean, and I found the beds comfortable, as a matter of fact I slept really heavy. Overall I was very happy.

Room and beds good enough a little bit old of a property so it wasn’t as fresh and new but it was fine
- 5/5

- 4/5
The breakfast was very average, not a big selection
- 1/5
The room booked was not available. Our premium room with balcony had the view of a wall and was dark and depressing. The breakfast was never varied, with no microwave to heat up their basic food. The pool was missing an ADA required handrail. The staff was not friendly or compassionate. They charged a previously undesclosed $4 daily "parking lot maintenance fee. Carpets were stained everywhere. Decor and furniture is cold and cheap. A poor value for the money.
- 5/5
Great greeting when we arrived. Location was fantastic. Nice big rooms.

Nice hotel. At check in we were told breakfast was served at 6am daily, but it actually was served at 7am on the weekends-not a huge deal, just changed our plans slightly. We loved having the full size fridge in our room, made staying with teens much easier! Hotel was clean, maintenance staff and cleaning staff was constantly present working to keep the hotel clean. Pool was nice, didn’t use the hot tub much since it was already 109° outside.
- 5/5
Everything was fabulous
- 5/5
It was great except the boys sports teams that kept running up and down the halls in the evening. I notified the front desk but nothing was done. When we checked out the front desk said they would mention this to the coaches. What about the responsibility of the parents????
- 3/5
Bring some air freshener!
- 5/5
Very nice property, walking distance to old town Scottsdale
- 2/5
The property and amenities were great. I gave it a poor rating because I didn’t get one decent night sleep while I was here as they let people party outside till all hours of the night. I had a balcony room and closing the door doesn’t block any of the sound. If you have in a room with an adjoining door, you can literally hear the conversations of the people in the next room, and if they talk loud or are out on their balcony being loud, which was the case most nights and smoking which came right into my room, not ideal. I thought I read somewhere that this hotel has quiet hours from 10 PM on, but that definitely was not the case. The best thing about this place is their staff member at the front desk, named Raquel. She is amazing and so welcoming. Disappointed in the night staff for not dealing with the outside noise as no one wants to be the one to complain when people are trying to have a good time, but this was excessive. Kids in the pool screaming till 10:30 at night. I would definitely not choose this place to have a relaxing anything. I think on two occasions the whole week I was able to lay by the pool and actually feel peaceful. It is a haven for young sports teams and their parents, which means kids in droves taking over the pool, running up and down the hallways and the parents drinking till all hours of the night outside being loud and obnoxious. I wish I had better things to say, but it was definitely disappointing.

But not to bad. Wish the bathroom had fan in the ceiling the mirror gets foggy

When we arrived our room wasn't available yet. Went out to pool area to wait. Checked at 2:30, 3, 3:30 then again at 4:15, the girl at desk had gone home and the new person said room is ready. Seemed the prior staff should have come out to alert us of room now available or at least telling new person where we were to let us know sooner. Then we found the room's balcony only had 1 chair. Seriously, what name hotel only provides one chair on a balcony. Room isn't an issue. GM wasn't real personable about the issue at all,Justin. Just a blank stare and said over and over, it's "Company Policy". Unbelievable! We've stayed there over 20 years under IHG and never a problem like that. Also the bacon on the last day was only half cooked. Not sure how many people like squishy, limp bacon. Also, no name badges on personnel. Seems you shouldn't have to ask everybody's first name when conversing. The room was very nice except for the obvious mistake made with the light switch location in the bathroom!
- 5/5
Close to old town and SF giants spring training.
- 5/5
room next to pol was nice

The pool was good, but there were a lot of kids with balls and made it difficult to be in the pool because of all the activity with the balls. Shops nearby were wonderful and enjoyed being close to the giant stadium and the shopping malls.

Spacious rooms. Good location. Friendly and helpful staff

Bathroom was needlessly small, and door opened awkwardly so that you had to scoot around it every time. Quite annoying. Bed was like sleeping on a pile of clothes. TV SUPER SUCKED! Because it was internet TV, it glitched CONSTANTLY. Made watching the Olympics very frustrating. "Free" breakfast as absolute crap. Spend a buck more per hotel guest and at least serve real food. Pool was dirty, and had a railing with repair tape around it. So lazy. Fix it. Upon checkin, NO diet coke at convenience mart by front desk. Woman at desk said they were "waiting for their shipment to arrive." The hell???? It's diet coke. By the end of the week: STILL no diet coke. Also lobby was torn up for 2 days with all the couches because of a ceiling leak. Whoever is opering this place for Hilton is damaging the brand.

Not a good experience! When we arrived at the property to check in, the young lady at the front desk let us know that the system was down worldwide and she was not able to check us in. The best she could do, was take our name and number down and give us a call when the system was back up and running. We explained we had been traveling since 4am, and it was now 6pm, we were totally exhausted and wanted to shower. We asked if there was absolutely no way that she could do a manual check in, let us up to our room, and once the system came back up, give us a call to come to the front desk and finish any paperwork that needed to be finished, she said unfortunately, this was not an option. We went out to our car, called the corporate office, and we were told this was indeed an option, she could do a manual check in with the email confirmation, and finish the paperwork when the system was back up. Very frustrating. But we dealt with it. We sat in the lobby for about an hour, and we were finally able to check in around 7pm when the system was back up. Unfortunately, this was not where the night ended, we ended up with a group of folks in the room directly above us, who showed up around 10:30pm, stomping, singing, and screaming, and woke us up from the one hour of sleep we were able to get. This ridiculousness kept on, until 4:30am!!! We got zero sleep the entire night! This was the absolute worst experience at a Hilton property of all of our years of traveling with them!

Called to alert staff we were running late yet no one answered the phone. When we arrived there was little to no parking and front desk staff were entertaining a very loud guest (possibly inebriated) which made it hard to understand the person who checked us in. The room reminded me of a college dorm room with cheap fixtures and IKEA-esque furniture. This was DEFINITELY NOT A HILTON sponsored property.

I booked this hotel for the heated pool, hot tub and fire pit area for our 11 day stay. The pool heater did not work, the hot tub jets did not work and stone around pool falling apart. The gas fire pit also did not work. Also you can not ask any of the people that clean you room questions as they dont speak english only front desk people speak english. I checked with front desk people several time to see if repaired and only got a one word answer NO.

Arrived 15 mins early for check-in, was informed that rooms were not ready, waited in front of the front desk where there were tables and seating, never called and informed that the rooms were ready... after 10 mins past check in time, went back to the staff and they told us that we could check in. If we did not go back we would've waited forever. 2 rooms booked, far from each other, no water provided, we had to ask and get it ourselves, rooms did not have lotions, so bring your own! Rooms were spacious and clean though. Location was good and close to old town. Staff may need more hospitality training.

Negatives - Our room was on the bottom floor and the noise from above was exhausting all night long. Breakfast ended at 9 am. We showed up at 915 and was shocked. We travel a lot , 9 am is ridiculous, it is called vacation for a reason. Positive - large room and lots of towels. Bring back the previous management

Check in was a breeze, coming in at 2:30am. We were greeted every time we came or went through the lobby, and the gym was very well equipped: big enough for at least 5 people to be comfortable exercising at the same time.

Clean rooms, spacious, cleaned daily, plenty of towels, staff was very kind and beds were comfortable! Definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Good stay!
- 4/5
The place was clean. Great location. Comfortable rooms. Great staff. The hotel needs to add one more staff person to breakfast service as there was always something missing (bread, eggs, etc.). Staff members work very hard but only one person cannot keep up with all the kitchen duties at peak time during brekfast.
- 4/5
Everything was great. The lay out of the breakfast area made it congested to get to the food
- 5/5
Everything was awesome!
- 4/5
Breakfast lines where afwul and set ip could change to be better
- 5/5
I liked it.
- 5/5
Location, staff, cleanliness
- 3/5
Room was ok but too noisy
- 4/5
There was a bug not a cockroach, crawling up near the restroom, but no bedbugs found. Breakfast was not bad since free the only thing was that some foods were served cold and bland. Very safe area and family friendly since off Scottsdale road about 15 min walk to Old Town. Location is convenient since close to multiple freeways. The 3rd night the people upstairs walking and making noice all night the walls are not very sound proof. Has a pool in the back but was too cold to swim. Would stay again.

Nice hotel
- 5/5
Clean room, comfortable bed, darkening shades great kitchenette with big fridge and dishes, nice big weight room and saline pool!
- 4/5
Everything was amazing except the internet. We tried streaming a show and got kicked out constantly during the movie.
- 5/5
Both front desk staff that I spoke to (around 2-2:30pm and 6pm) were very pleasant and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable and more than I expected with its larger sized fridge and kitchen utensils. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.
- 4/5
Yes
- 5/5
Very clean and up to date.
- 4/5
Clean room and friendly staff
- 2.5/5
Secure and safe building
- 4/5
Clean room, would have like a little diversity with breakfast from day to day but over all very good.
- 3/5
It was ok. The jacuzzi was not operating. It was not the usual looking home 2 suites. Kinda older i wouldnt stay there again
- 3/5
The room and bedding was great but the breakfast needs some love
- 5/5
Clean room, comfortable bed. Staff was nice. Free laundry was definitely a plus for a long trip.
- 4.5/5
It was clean. I liked the kitchenette and location.
- 5/5
Great place to stay on a budget. Close to downtown. Top notch customer service, I needed help with transportation and the front desk went out of their way to make sure I got where I needed to be and always had hot coffee in the lobby…that’s huge in my world!
- 5/5
Thanks
- 3/5
The pool was closed and no mention of that when booking and it was a big reason i booked the place
- 3/5
Yes breakfast was fine, the dining area was kept clean and presentable. The hotel had adequate parking and felt safe and secure.
- 1/5
Absolutely terrible. I booked late at night, drove forty minutes on night highways to get there, and as we’re pulling in the parking lot, i get a phone call that expedia overbooked the hotel. My gf and i had just left a friends who had offered us an air mattress. This was a terrible experience, and i think everyone involved was un sympathetic and like “oh well, i understand how you feel, but you know…” Pathetic and bad bad work/customer experience. I really have every inclination to stick to airbnb..
- 3/5
Overall it was okay. The room was great. However, the pool was closed by the county inspectors due to safety violations. I chose this location due that amenity being available as my family lives to swim. I’m disappointed. I will be letting Hilton Corporate know about the situation.
- 5/5
Wonderful staff. Very efficient and helpful!
- 5/5
Hot tub great pool great. Staff great room clean
- 4.5/5
clean none so far
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay at the Home2 Suites hotel. The staff was very friendly, approachable and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is conveniently located close to downtown Scottsdale and is somewhat walkable (if the weather isn't too hot!). Parking is very easy and plentiful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The outdoor pool was somewhat small but we had it to ourselves during our stay so it didn't bother us.
- 5/5
Hotel, facilities and room were all incredibly clean and spacious. Breakfast was perfect. Enough variety and well maintained.
- 3/5
Checking in was good, but once we got to our room, it was redesigned and way too modern, it was more comfy before!!! And then we decided to go to the pool, but is was closed a week after reopening of the hotel!!! Then it was shower time, nice and clean but struggled to get the wall condiments open, then had to was my hands and the sink water wasn’t working and the toilet was running constantly, guess they weren’t updated if checked to see if working before reopening!!! Final straw, had to change rooms!!! Will we be back, don’t think so!!!!
- 1/5
Couldn't tell you as when we got to the hotel there was a notice on the door saying 'we're closed'!
- 5/5
It was simple, you can hear the main road way too much!
- 4/5
Convenient to old town Scottsdale. Consistent and comfortable.
- 5/5
Great location and staff was wonderful.
- 1/5
Shady place, very unsafe
- 5/5
The room was great. We stayed in the queen suite with a mini balcony. The rate was excellent and I would definitely stay at this hotel again when visiting Scottsdale. My only complaint is that the hot tub was not accessible and closed off.
- 4/5
Quiet
- 5/5
Affordable and firs out family. Pool and hot tub are always nice.
- 3/5
Carpets were filthy! The bottoms of my slippers were white when I left home. They were black after 2 days at the hotel. Arms of sofa were also dirty. The tops of the small refrigerator and microwave were only dusted as far as could be reached. Upon booking, we were not told about a daily charge for maintenance of parking lot, pool, hot tub, which did not work, etc. that was charged to our bill. This hotel needs professional cleaning and updating.
- 3/5
Hot tub not working
- 3/5
The common areas if the Hotel were dirty. Especially the elevator. Guest room was dated but clean and very comfortable.
- 4/5
I was disappointed in our room. It hurt to sit on the sofa because the cushions go below the frame.Bed was ok. Front desk staff were not very friendly.
- 5/5
Rooms were clean and nice
- 5/5
I was there for a few months the staff was awesome the housekeeping were right on they would help you with anything that you needed. Felt safe there and comfortable. The breakfast is awesome..
- 5/5
Close To Alot Of Food Options & Close To Scottsdale Nightlife
- 5/5
Easy to get in and out of property, The beds were comfortable and the room size was perfect
- 3/5
Loudest hotel I've stayed in excluding Las Vegas hotels. It was close though, you could hear everything from other rooms. Muffled conversations, drawers, water, people walking, etc. Worst sleep ever. Room was also somewhat dirty. There was hair on the floor and furniture.
- 5/5
Loved our stay
- 5/5
Spacious room with the separate sitting area. The shower has great water pressure, which is always nice to have. The complimentary breakfast was very good for an hotel, it had pancakes on demand, scrambled eggs, sausage & bacon, bagels, etc.
- 2/5
AC was either 60 degrees and freezing or 74, and the heat came on. No in between and no instructions for setting it. Paid for a king size bed and we were cramped in ofull size bed. Breakfast was advertised for 6am, but myself and many other guests showed up and were told that it’s not open until 7am on weekends. Walls are part thin..
- 5/5
Great location close to multiple area of interest
- 4/5
This hotel was nice. Our room had two queen beds and a pullout couch. The beds were good. Breakfast was pretty decent. On the first day, they had like a southwest style egg that we liked more than just the plain eggs. My kids enjoyed the pool. The room did get a little warm after we showered and it did take a little bit to cool back down.
- 5/5
The AC worked great, the pillows were great, and the continental breakfast was better than most I’ve had.
- 5/5
I gave the hotel high Marks. My one and only complaint had to do with the lack of a business center, which I rely upon whenever I travel.
- 4/5
The property was in a nice area. It was quiet. The staff was very nice. However, the elevators were not very reliable. They were both out of order at one time. The jacuzzi was taped off and not in use.
- 5/5
Everything was great until we got stuck on elevator for a few minutes. Person who opened elevator not great attitude
- 3/5
Not on duty when all the incidents happened but we told her what had happened and she show a sincere and apologetic but the manager that was on duty did not care at all…
- 4/5
I liked the size of the suite, the balcony, the bed, the big hot tub under the stars and palm trees, the breakfast and the location.
- 4/5
Decent for what it’s worth
- 5/5
The furniture in our room was getting a little warn looking. However it was clean and comfortable. The staff was nice and polite.
- 5/5
It was great
- 3/5
There was no thermostat in the room. The knobs on the A/C unit had no numbers to help regulate the temperature.
- 5/5
There was an abundant of options for meals that was close by. Enjoyed the small patio.
- 5/5
Easy checkin, quiet hotel, convenient parking
- 5/5
Perfect location and price
- 5/5
Surprisingly nice for the price.
- 5/5
We needed to check out late staff was very friendly and helped us out
- 1/5
I rented a room for two nights the first night we open the couch in one of the suites. The pullout bed had stains on it so we got the linen in the closet when we opened it up. It was with lipstick stains and other nasty stains on it was nasty

- 5/5
Its was comfortable and clean.
- 4/5
The staff were so nice . Pool area, and fitness room
- 5/5
Great breakfast buffet
- 5/5
Staff was courteous
- 4/5
Booked a room on different nights and each had broken components in the room not a biggie but can't give it five stars
- 3/5
First night..came in front door smelled mold and old..probably because of the two water features in the lobby that barley worked..need to go..room carpet was very dirty..good thing I wore socks..Had to ask a few times for clean towels. Bits of trash in hallways..that could easily be swepped up when doing rooms..
- 5/5
Above average
- 5/5
Easy in easy out
- 5/5
Grate place..!
- 4/5
Area was nice. Breakfast was good!
- 5/5
Would stay again
- 3/5
Staff and hotel were good value. Only thing was elevator is really slow.
- 2/5
The property was old and the pictures did not give a proper idea of the conditions of the rooms. Air conditioning was noisy, the hall and the lift smelled. In general, the experience was quite deceiving.
- 3/5
its very nice from the suites to the comfy beds. Service was poor, basically. How bout some whole grain products other than cereal with raisins? Like bread, i.e. Overall, though, Id stay here again and again mostly because of above stated positive points and price!
- 5/5
Clean and friendly staff
- 5/5
Was looking for a place to spend the night as I passed through, felt safe, pretty lit up, and very comfortable beds ! Rested very well to continue my trip !
- 4/5
The general areas could be cleaner, things were just a little grungy for me, but our room was clean. It felt and smelled clean so we rested well. The breakfast was sufficient but had no sweet rolls (my favorite) but the was plenty of other things to choose from to satisfy my cravings.
- 1/5
A.C. wasn't working, the TV clicker didn't work, I was told an engineer is on there way, and I waited hours 10 hours and no one came, 3 employees and the G.M., told me there will be long distance charges for domestic calls, and no clue as to cost, only saying it depends on where I call. Years ago, I received highly inflated bills and needed to know. Eventually, after a stressful trip, looked it up, took 3 minutes on the internet: May 9, 2023: hotels stopped charging long distance fees in 2006.
- 5/5
The room itself was clean and comforting. The A/C was easily adjustable. I had a room with a king bed. There was a separate queen size pullout couch in a “living room” that could be separated from the “bedroom” with a door. The pullout couch was not at all comfortable, to be honest. The pool area was large, with a jacuzzi and heated pool. Rooms were available that had patios with chairs. The breakfast was pretty good for a continental breakfast. I enjoyed my stay and would book again if in the area.
- 3/5
Ac did not work properly so the room was so humid. The pool was filthy. Overall it was okay. I probably won’t be staying there again.
- 5/5
Nice
- 4/5
It's dated, the AC was too loud, the light was flickering, but the room was bigger it has 2 TVs the amenities was adequate the breakfast was reasonable a portion of hot and cold.
- 5/5
I appreciate the kind staff we encountered at the front desk. Room was spacious and clean and I like that they offer a decent breakfast.
- 5/5
very nice and comfortable stay great breakfast
- 5/5
Really nice staff
- 5/5
Amazing experience! Thanks for the upgrade!
- 5/5
I liked everything about this hotel
- 2/5
The room smelled bad. There was not cold water. The pool was dirty and hot. The AC unit did not work over all not a good experience.
- 2/5
We arrived an hour early and was charged a $25 fee to check in an hour early. Our room was out of soap, and not 100% clean. If you're going to charge people money to check in early, I would recommend the room at least having the bare essentials.
- 5/5
Sofa seats worn
- 5/5
Great staff. Very helpful and friendly
- 5/5
Family friendly
- 4/5
My hotel room had a slight smell to it (it could have been the humidity but there was a slight odor when I first walked in my room). The pool was pretty clean but the waterfal(s) were not working. The beds are amazing and it I slept great! Breakfast was great but the pancake machine was down and there didn't seem to be any staff around to fix it while I waited. When I went to check out, I was asked if I wanted the receipt. I said "Yes, please". When I got the receipt, there was an additional $4.18 "Parking Recapture Fee"? What the heck is that? Then the concierge said to be on the lookout for a possible "resort fee" on my future bill? No mention of what THAT cost might be either. I was not informed of any additional fees when I made my reservation, nor when checked in.
- 3/5
Our room was clean, but common areas were subpar. Wont go there again.
- 5/5
The rooms are very nice and clean and beds are comfortable. Very close to shopping, dining and nightlife!
- 4/5
Good hotel
- 4/5
It was a fine place to stay. Very big rooms, but updated. Beds are very soft.
- 5/5
- 4/5
Lamp shade was tearing, office chair was tattered and wouldn’t go higher. Ice machine was out of order. Tub drain was slow. Bed was nice and air conditioner was working. Exterior of hotel was nice but interior Is getting old looking.
- 3/5
Housekeeping never came to clean my room. Elevators were not working. Air conditioner was not cooling room. Room was clean.
- 5/5
The rooms are clean, big and very comfortable. I love the convivence of the soap dispensers.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and helpful. It was very clean and quiet.
- 2/5
Not really in Old Town Scottsdale
- 4/5
Great location and wonderful staff made for a nice stay
- 5/5
It was amazing stay
- 5/5
We all enjoyed our time immensely and it was perfect for our fun family getaway
- 5/5
Clean place
- 1/5
Horrible stay. No housekeeping even if staying multiple days. Carpet was disgusting will leave your feet completely black. Charging for parking in a public lot in Scottsdale is ridiculous! Was overcharged and refused to help. Save yourself the time and money by staying elsewhere. Much better properties nearby who keep up with cleaning and charge the same or less then this dump.
- 5/5
Great value
- 4/5
The property is a little dated however, overall we had a good stay no real cleanliness issues. Staff was good breakfast very good.
- 3/5
The property is tired. Pool pump/filter not on during day, small flowers floating in water. Need an aerator to cool down the water temp, was like bath water. Breakfast waa phenomenal. Room had dirty carpet, bedroom carpet was ripped. Desk chair needed to be replaced, scared to sit in it. Sheers on 1/2 of window were missing. Frig was nice and cold and bed was fairly comfortable. Air conditioner could not keep up with temp and had to have ceiling fan on high all the time. Signs throughojt property about non smoking, but guest in balcony room, on 3rd floor, 2nd from end was smoking pot and the skunk smell filled the pool area and I had to leave. Staff at front desk are courteous and knowledgeable.
- 3/5
Cool stay just don’t expect your deposit back if your from out of town
- 5/5
Good stay and convenient location
- 1/5
I had my items with me and I was extremely hesitant to complete my stay; because I saw bugs, I was uncomfortable with staying in the hotel room and keeping my items there. As a healthcare professional, cleanliness is something I truly care about when it comes to staying in a hotel. I went downstairs, explained to the front desk about the situation, and mentioned that I also had to leave for work as I was on call. They claimed the computers were down and were unable to process my check out. They also never offered alternative accommodations. I expressed my concerns to the manager several times, and all he did was insult my intelligence and question my knowledge about hospitality. I had hope in this property which is why I chose the prepaid option. After the bugs and the food in the fridge, I was completely disappointed they did not offer me a refund. I do not rec this property and if you are going to deal with their rude manager LS, I wish you the best of luck. He is absolutely horrendous and terrible at his job.
- 5/5
I live in Scottsdale, but I stayed here for a night when my AC broke. This hotel was very comfortable and the staff were great. It is definitely a good value. This is a great location as well and I love that they are pet friendly. I brought my dog and we were able to have a nice walk in the morning. My only negative would be that they do charge a pet fee, but it is cheaper than some other options I looked at in the area. It would be nice it there was a refundable pet deposit instead.
- 5/5
The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff are helpful and friendly, and the price is very reasonable.
- 4/5
My stay was fine. Coffee wasn’t available in lobby afternoon or evening. I might of miss read but I was looking for free parking and was charged for parking. This is probably a hotels.com issue. I would stay again. But a small fee for parking.
- 2/5
They have written that they have a comitment to keeping everything clean. I was there for 5 days without any housekeeeping, even after asking twice. The breakfast was mediocre at best, limited selection of things to eat. Some of the staff were a little rude, refusing to help until they'd fully completed their phont conversations, or listening to requests even after being asked several ti mes.
- 5/5
Very awesome
