The staff was super nice and friendly as well. The check-in process was quick and easy and personable and they gave us free water bottles which you need in Arizona. Not that you can’t drink the water because of course you can drink the water anywhere but the chef at the buffet was very helpful and encouraging us to order extra items that weren’t already out. He would make things fresh for us. We sat and visited and ate breakfast for a good long while. Super nice and very affordable hotel.

Stayed for 5 days and loved it. Hotel is very clean. Got a free upgrade. Huge shout out to Mach, he truly loves his job and made us feel so welcome.

Nice place and we stay there often…however the pillows absolutely suck! They are so flat and honestly couldn’t get comfortable last night. Ended up sleeping on the couch sitting up!

The only thing bad about the hotel is the sneaky $25/night parking fee. It should have been mentioned at check in when they hand you a pass to put on your car.

The AC made so much noise and made it hard to sleep. The room smelled like an attic. The housekeeper did come and spray the room but it was short lived. The staff was amazing

The staff neglected to tell me that there was a parking fee of $25 per day until I checked out. Not fun to get an unexpected $75 bill for three days, when there was plenty of parking on the nearby streets.

The provided in our room was the most uncomfortable chair I ever sat in. It had a rounded back making it impossible to sit in. -5 out of 10

I love the location of this hotel. It is walking distance to old town. Also, the rooms are clean, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. My only suggestion, would be for them to get a higher end coffee in the rooms.

The room was fine, close to Okd Town area, but it’s disappointing to be greeted with indifference and even have to request coffee every day (why do they give you a coffee machine with no coffee pods?).

Furthermore - - The pricing on this property was unethical and deceptive. The total price I was told I was going to pay ended up being $25.00 more due to their hidden parking fee. One had to really search the website for the section where it indicated there was going to be an additional fee. This was sneaky on Hilton's part. Shameful. Won't stay at this property again.

The property was in great shape. All the facilities were clean. It is convenient to Old Town. We were there for a week, and were able to walk to the restaurants and shops. There were six in our party and no one had anything but compliments about the hotel. I recommend this for anyone planning to stay in the Scottsdale area.

I enjoyed the pool, the pool attendands keep up with clearing used towels, and the breakfast buffet was more than ample for the continental breakfast.

The fact that I have stayed here in the past a few of the staff remember me, like the Chef, and the front desk guy who is always kind to me.

Janessa at the front desk has a talent for proper and thorough customer service. Give her a raise! We had a comfortable stay and room was clean. Parking fee is silly at $50/day (we parked elsewhere). No valet or anything so what is the charge for? We didn’t eat breakfast there as it wasn’t included in our stay but was $24 if not included. I would stay again because it was clean and very convenient walking to Old Town. Pool water was clear and area clean. 👍

Loved everything about this place! Great location across the street from old town. Within walking distance of tons of places. I would go back in a heart beat. I know it seems funny in Arizona but a hot would have been appreciated after climbing camelback.

Location of this hotel was amazing, it was steps from old town, art, and entertainment districts. Not over the top for amenities, but had a nice pool area, food options, and a great outdoor seating area with various activities that were fun for evening hang outs. The staff was also very friendly, they were always happy to answer questions and give advice on what to do (we were visiting for the first time from out of state).

The location was great to old town, Scottsdale shops and restaurants. Everything was very pricey, including the waters in the room. I was sad that the bar closed before 11 o’clock. We tried to order a drink at 10:47 pm . Just a quick cocktail to drink while we sat outside at your Ramada area, but the bartender told us it was closed. The pool was too cold to swim in and the parking garage was so dark .

Room was clean. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Had an issue with the lighting in the bathroom and it was quickly resolved while we were out.

There was only 2 things I would comment on. The bar/resturant on site closes to early for a weekend for those of us that want to stay close to drink and not be around alot of the younger crowd. And can get back to our room quicker. But tue even bigger comment is that the room was very hot at night. We put it on 68 tue 1st night and never comfortable so the 2nd night we set it on 63 and still not very comfortable. And the temps outside were not super hot at day or night. But other than that it was great

The front desk gentleman was exceptional. Very informative and gave alot of good recommendations. Very friendly and never acted like he was upset with all our questions. He was great. He worked the evening shift and got off work at like 12am. We didn't ask his name but he was there both late shifts for the 2 nights we were there. There was only 2 things I would comment on. Staf at front desk was welcoming. Lexi did a phenomenal job helping replace the faulty ac unit in our room. However, at some point in our stay three necklaces were stolen from our room..I should have used the safe, but got careless and tucked the jewelry bag in my suitcase which was on a stand near the front door. I reported to front desk. This theft left a bad taste so I would probably NOT stay there again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. However, for the price, the rooms were very cramped. We also had to pay to get bottled water… I found this to be odd as most Hiltons give them out for free. Also, the water filter we noticed hadn’t been changed in three years on the ice machine which can be a little bit dangerous. We brought this to the attention of the maintenance person, 10 days later nothing was changed. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location was very convenient to many restaurants and shopping within walking distance.

Overall great place to stay for spring training. Everything is walking distance and should you want to stay and relax at the hotel, there are plenty of things to do

I love the pool area... its a great place to relax. The location is perfect for anyone who wants to walk to restaurants and coffee shops. We come here each year for Spring Training... We will be back again next year. My only suggestion is to have a shelf in the bathrooms for toiletries.

Good location in Old Town Scottsdale. Nice Room. Pleasant Staff. Good breakfast options. The price paid did not match what we were promised by Booking.com (Room was charged at $219.96 before tax instead of $215.26 before tax according to what we booked on Booking.com). Not a big difference, but annoying. Parking is VERY expensive at $25/night.

This hotel was very quiet and close to Old Town Scottsdale and Downtown Scottsdale. Breakfast was a little expensive, but we did it one time during our two night stay and were not dissapointed with the made to order omlette station. In room fridge and microwave was also a plus.

The hotel had a heavy “ perfume-like” odor everywhere… halls,elevators,rooms. TV did not work properly due to their cable line. Missed having a bar for a drink at the hotel after a day of sight seeing and wanting to relax at the hotel.

What was unacceptable was the complete lack of compassion, judgment, or accountability from management and corporate. Under emergency stress, I accidentally booked a reservation for the wrong date through Hotels.com. I discovered the mistake immediately upon arrival, cancelled it right away, and contacted Hotels.com from the hotel that same night. Because we could not safely leave, I paid again for the correct night and stayed. The original reservation was never used. Despite cancelling immediately, paying twice for the same night, and clearly explaining the emergency, the General Manager refused to authorize a refund. Hilton corporate also refused to intervene, stating policy could not be overridden. Policies exist, but so does discretion. In this case, both hotel management and corporate chose rigid policy over basic humanity toward a woman and child seeking safety. That decision matters. If you are traveling under normal circumstances, this hotel may meet your needs. If you value flexibility, empathy, and humane decision-making during emergencies, this is not a property I would recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay! The pool was great, room was clean and spacious but mostly we loved the Christmas decorations all over the lounge and lights, couches and fireplaces in the outdoor area. It was an easy walk to places to eat and there were also a few people driving golf cart shuttles around town for a small fee. We took the recommendation from the front desk to eat at a nearby sports bar to watch a football game during dinner and had a great time. Everyone we encountered working there was kind and helpful. We definitely will be back.

Out of the blue and until we got to check in the hotel we knew about the $25 per day parking fee. How come guests have to pay for parking? Also, the available breakfast is American (bagels, coffee & fruit) for $24, really?

Suggestion to make the lovely bathroom much more user friendly: Big open space over toilet where is normally some sort of shelving and another towel rack - totally wasted...nothing there. More space needed for toiletry cases so not have to use all the small counter space. Only 1 hook available (on back of door) - not enough for a bath shared by 3 people. Suggest put an attractive rack over toilet for rolled towels and use the two open spaces under sink on left for guests to store toiletry items OFF the countertop and out of sight.

We had a great stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. Its in a very convenient location, walkable to old town. You do have to pay for parking but we found free street parking nearby. The outdoor area at the hotel, including the pool, is nice.

Update the property, get the fountains working, add a real cafe. Not sure what's happening in the lobby. Noisy and exposed construction materials. Hope it shapes up for the future.

Decorating started for Christmas was lovely!

This hotel was perfect for our stay! So walkable to amazing shopping, historical sites and restaurants. If the weather hadn’t been cool and rainy we would have been poolside daily and enjoy Ed the patio in the evening - it looked like such a great space.

The hotel was clean, and was set up for Xmas, with lights adorning an outdoor hallway to enter the hotel, which felt like a VIP entrance. Each outdoor couch and table setting had its own Xmas throw blanket. Was walkable to everything. The staff was amazing. Especially Mach, who made our experience special and rememberable!

Lexi at the front desk (&everyone else) were so welcoming and made us feel right at home!

The location is perfect for old town Scottsdale. The pool is better than some more expensive hotels I've stayed in. The room was standard but clean and everything worked.

Great service, clean, nice pool and patio areas. Beds were very hard and walls are thin, a little noisy at night. Loved how close it is to shopping and restaurants, very walkable and safe. I’d probably try another hotel next time because of the bed and noise.

Needed a little solo getaway, and the Hilton Garden Inn was absolutely perfect. The young lady who checked me in had exceptional customer service skills—warm, professional, and welcoming. I loved spending time by the pool, and the location couldn’t be better—everything in Old Town is within walking distance. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the room was spotless. I’ll definitely be back!

I was disappointed in this property because it charged $50 to park for two nights, $25 dollars for breakfast when similar properties charge nothing and $7.00 dollars for a bottle of water in the room. Seemed a bit excessive for this property. If I am going to pay these types for extra charges I would rather stay in a nicer place.

Everything within a 15 min walk. Perfect location. I was able to check in super early and even do a late check out. Pool was nice and clean but cold. Restaurant/bar in site doesn't open till evening.

Was a great room. Super nice and clean. There were two bathrooms and the main bathrooms was very spacious with two shower heads

The room was clean and spacious, but the door to the bathroom was difficult to use since would not stay open and the door is but heavy to open. But overall is not a bad place I would stay here again.

The hotel was above average, I shouldn't have had to pay to park there and be charged for water..otherwise not terrible.

The back patio needs to be cleaned up. The gates are open and unlocked in the back. There is no fitness room.

The room smelled musty, the tub filled with water while taking a shower, and we found a hair in the sheets of our bed.

The pool area was great. My bathroom was not very clean when I arrived. The shower was super slippery, I almost fell twice.

Quick, easy checkin is slways nice. Forgot to check if thos place included breakfast. Ten dollar continental wasnt worth it, but whatever. Everything is close. Right next to all the bars in old tow n Scottsdale.

There were 2 birds that were dead on the patio when looked out the window. There was also a pool of blood. I had to keep the curtain closed our whole stay as it was extremely disturbing.

I was surprised that the parking and breakfast were extra charges, but your location was perfect for our trip.

On going MAJOR construction all around the property. This property needs to be closed for the construction and it was very dangerous, dirty and noisy.

A gold cart service is provided to the restaurants and bars after 3pm. The pool was such a vibe, with food and drink services. Light music playing and a bunch of seating! I wish there were more umbrellas for shade. I would Definitely stay here again, the location is so close to the fashion mall, restaurants, bars, shopping!

We always stay here while in Old Town. All shops and restaurants are within a 3-5 minute walk, and the mall is also nearby. The staff is great, and very accommodating.

All in alll was a very good trip to Scottsdale and plan on doing another trip soon to include Sedona/Prescott

I stayed for 3 nights solo. Fantastic location, appreciated the parking (even at $25/night eek). The beds were comfortable with ample pillows. I enjoyed the pool (even if there wasn’t a hot tub). I was thankful that housekeeping didn’t bother me but was unsure why they didn’t remove trash from the room. Friendly staff, close to Old Town. Would stay again.

Rob, the concierge, was awesome. They gave us a printed list of places they recommend for food and entertainment upon arrival, and were so friendly every single interaction. The beds were a little firmer than I prefer, but everything else was great. The location is perfect for exploring Old Town Scottsdale, nestled right between great bars and restaurants and making most things within walkable distance. We’ll definitely be back!

The one thing we did not like was for a buffet brealfast-sort of, was $24.00 which is fine but for a huge buffet!! I think it is very overpriced for food. The nachos were really good though! The staff was all wonderful!!

We enjoyed our stay, everything was clean in the area felt safe. The surprise we had when we got there $25 a day fee for parking. That was disappointing, but other than that, we were satisfied.

We did enjoy the pool area for a bit, which was quiet and even had some lawn games (dart board, connect 4, etc). Tim, the front desk manager I believe, was super nice and very helpful with suggestions as it was our first time in Scottsdale. He even let us know about the golf cart shuttle the hotel has that you can use to get around the area. We didn’t end up using it, but it sounded very convenient! The area is of course awesome, as it is literally in Old Town Scottsdale (a short walk across the street). We enjoyed walking around and grabbing a bite to eat. The shops were cute and plentiful and there were a lot of good food and drink options. We didn’t stay out too late but there seemed to be good night life as well. I will say that the area around the hotel can be a bit loud, especially since our room was on the main road. We could hear some of the louder cars and groups out walking at night, but we were so tired that we slept through most of it. All in all, our stay here was great and we really wish we could’ve stayed longer to enjoy the area and amenities! Highly recommend for a stay in Old Town Scottsdale.

We loved our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. It was our first time visiting Scottsdale. All of the staff were very friendly, the pool and patio area was fantastic, great location for restaurants and shopping. Would definitely come back!

Great location as very walkable to restaurants shops and night life. Pool small but clean and had beds. Nice drinks outside area with fire pit. Comfy bed and pillows. Only down for me it was very noisy we faced a main road and as only on second floor limited filter of noise.

We found our room very comfortable and clean. Had to call desk for TV remote and they promptly brought one.

Steps to Old Town, restaurants, and bars

Sheets had not been changed from previous guest. We found a bandaid in the sheets. While the rest of the property appeared clean and the staff was friendly, the bandaid in the sheets ruined the whole experience and left me feeling gross the rest of the stay.

It’s nice and convenient

The room is aged and not well maintained. The room smelled strongly of cigarettes and when I complained, the front desk brushed off. The worst experience I ever had with this group.

A block away from old town Scottsdale makes this hotel very appealing. The beds were so comfy. No dressers to put clothes away.

Breakfast area clean and has good assortment of choices. Only issue was at check in, if not purchased through the Hilton site, all Hilton loyalty perks not available. Over the years grown to accept not getting points but now any perk such as breakfast not available unless booked through higher Hilton site. Thankfully when addressed with management they corrected issue, but you have to wonder, if status not recognized, maybe good opportunity to try the competition

Really good hotel. Loved the spacious sitting areas- lobby and outside. There were many sofas and heaters outside. The room was very comfortable and clean. Nice place to relax. Great location near Old Town. Breakfast was good. Good service.

Floor and carpet needed cleaning. It was apparent animals/pets have stayed there

However, we reserved a king bedroom and were placed in a two double bedroom. The room looked out over a roof and large airconditioner. We were told that there was a water leak being fixed and it would be 10 minutes before we could use the toilet. We did not realize until much later that the closet floor was soaking wet. The hotel was not that busy - we should have been given a different room. Not one next to the leak. The hotel did credit us a day's parking.

Hotel Staff was the best part of the hotel experience.

Nice grounds, staff was exceptional. Very relaxing atmosphere. Rooms were a bit dated but had a comfortable bed and great shower. I would go back there to stay. Prices were very high.. may return when they are lower.

Location of this hotel is great! I was let down by the quality of the room. The bathroom had a musky smell and my pillow smelled like urine. I would likely try another night here because of the location but will book directly through Hilton’s site in hopes the room provided isn’t the least desirable space they have.
