Great Wolf Lodge Arizona

My family enjoy the stay. The room bed was comfortable, the pool was great, fun for any age. Staff was great, very friendly, polite and very willing to help.

They took $1800 out of my bank account for no reason, worst experience ever honestly

Highly recommend to families who are looking for fun activities, our favorite was the water park and the Magi quest. Staff was above and beyond. This hotel is perfectly maintained, and managed.

They advertise that the rooms get you 6 wristbands for the water park but if you don’t put all the people on the reservation then they charge you $20 per person. Plus you have to pay $20 for parking. The check in process is awful. It take like an hour to check in. They only have 2 people doing check in.

The room was not what we expected. We were told the room would have bunk beds. The restaurant was extremely overpriced, and be careful that they take the tip out for you. The park was awesome; the kids absolutely had a great time in the pool and other waterpark fun. I paid extra money that doesn't really include that much, the 130.00 package isn't worth it imo.

It was a constant upsell. The room we got was over $500. Then parking was $20, extra people were $20 each, mini golf high ropes etc was extra, and of course arcade and build a bear. It was just very crowded, chaotic, and expensive. I guess in fairness it was over 100 in Phoenix, so what else is there to do with kids. But it was just underwhelming and expensive. I am glad we did it but we don’t need to go back.

Hi, stay was overall good for this kids. Rooms were okay, multiple days the cleaning staff did not cleans our room which was frustrating with young’s kids. No new towels or bedding that was required to be replaced. They also do not vacuum. Seven stay overall but service was poor.

The indoor and outdoor Waterpark pool part was amazing so much different fun things to choose. Inside there were tons of other things to do if you didnt want to swim like the ropes course and mirror maze. My 8 year old is audhd and he loved the place. I hope to be able to visit again. Such a fun experience for my family. Bonus the room was clean and had such a cool room design.

Great place to take the kids and a great getaway. Place is nice and so much to do. We had a great time and we will be returning to celebrate my Son 5th birthday. Room was clean upon arrival Staff was great and pools were awesome and the shows for the kids was great as well. Recommend this place if you have kids.

We checked in early, but our room wasn't ready until nearly 30 minutes after 4pm. We reserved an outdoor cabana only to discover the outside pool was closed. After walking back to the front desk and waiting in line for 30 minutes, they replaced it with an indoor cabana for an extra fee. Not a great way to start. We had to leave a day early for medical reasons and they refused to waive the early checkout fee. Not a good experience.

It was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. Was disappointed we never received the picture we took at check in…they said it would be sent via email but we never received it.

The only thing was that the incidental's was 100.00 per night and be prepared for the 20.00 parking fee. It a place that’s always crowded with kids. I liked the water park was infant friendly too

Waited 20 minutes for an iron and almost one hour for other items and had to go to the front desk for them. The property is dated and the rooms were dark and musty. Kids had a mediocre time. Didn't try the food other than the dipping dots Late check out at 2pm is an additional $59.00 Wristbands used to open the gate out the parking lot don't work well. Lady at time share kiosk seemed more like a used car salesman First time there, will not go back to that property or any Great Wolf Lodge

Everything was as advertised. I would definitely prepurchase the dining package. Healthiest place to eat is the Barnwood. Wish we did that both nights off or stay. The place is absolutely perfect for the kids! My grandson had the time of his life. So much fun things to do.

Staff were kind and prompt, it was very clean, it is geared for children so be ready to be over stimulated.

Cleanliness was also a concern. There was hair left on the bathroom counter when we arrived, and we even found a piece of hair on the bed. That immediately made us question how thoroughly the room had been cleaned. Overall, the condition of the rooms and lack of cleanliness made this a very unpleasant experience. For the price you pay to stay here, I expected much better. Sadly, I will not be returning

The staff was AWESOME!!! My room had some issues. Two electric outlets didn’t work, didn’t like the master switch that controlled all the lights. The food was way over priced. Angle of the parking lot exits made it hard to open the gate.

We looked at many hotels in the area. This one was actually the better deal for the night.(There is a fee for parking) They extended some offers to extend our stay so we stayed another night. Mind you we stayed here off season so that might have played a role in it. (March 5th and 6th) We have a 16, 17, 18 and 19 yr old. We got the family suite with two queen beds and a pull out. It accommodated us all. It was claen and the queen beds were very comforable. The water park was an added bonus. Lots of indoor and outdoor space. I was suorised our teenagers spent 4 hr here. I thought because of their ages it would be a shorter time. One night for teenagers would be suffice for the waterpark. We went offsite for meals. I would suggest this Hotel.

Room was clean enough, We wished we had known in advance that there biggest water slide were not working. Also the hours on the pool make it impossible to enjoy in the morning unless you pay for the late checkout which I think is bs, We had fun while we were there and over all my kids had a good time.

I was blown away on the $20 charge for parking. It would be like paying to park at Walmart. Rooms are much smaller than they look on the sites. With so many kids it’s understandable a lot of things are a little beat up.(tables, drawers, bathrooms) I think if your kids are between 4-9 that would be the best time for them here personally.

This hotel is definitely for kids' ages 2 to 7.

The attention to detail of cleaning everything at the lodge. Also the keen eye of all the lifeguards really showed they cared about their pool roles.

This is a great place for the kids.Our grandkids loved the indoor waterpark. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

During our stay there was some sort of Suspected gas leak that caused the entire resort to evacuate at midnight. We were outside in the cold for over an hour. I appreciate the precautions that were taken but it was still an inconvenience.

We had a great time at Great Wolf! Kids were excited from the moment we stepped through the door and we stayed plenty busy without needing all of the add-ons. It wasn't cheap, but the memories were priceless!

The only thing I would say is, I was given a hard time at the front desk about how many passes our room has usually they give us 4 to 6 passes with a part of the room, but this time they only wanted to give us two and pay for the extras With a great Wolf Lodge. The beds made extremely loud noises—just a small movement would wake up the whole room because of how badly the beds creaked, and they were very uncomfortable. We couldn’t sleep at all. The beds urgently need to be replaced. Another problem was the strong sewage smell in the hallways and in our room, which was very unpleasant.” Check in was super slow big line and 2 stuff only

Once we drove there 1 hour the lady at front desk fixed it and we paid $50 to do early check in which i was told 8am. We arrived there at 8am 2 young kids. We were told the room might be ready by 11am so we went to eat arm bands didn’t work. After 7 hours we finally got the room, but we booked 2 bedroom witj 2 full bathrooms nope only 1 bathroom had a bathtub. I showed the manager the floor plan and they basically said its a typical bathroom. WE PAID for 2 full bathrooms with bathtubs. All they gave us was 4 day passes for water park. It was a complete nightmare Com

While we stayed there the group slides were closed both days which might have been just unfortunate timing but the place was packed without enough staff. There is absolutely no seating in the indoor water park unless you pay to reserve seating or buy a cabana which was $600 or arrived right when it opened. Sunday the pool isn’t open until 10am which means for most families waiting around for 3 hours or paying more money to do other things. Everything is expensive and an up charge. It’s basically Disneyland but without a staff that cares to give you a magical time.

The lines were long and the first impressions of the Great Wolf wasn’t that well until we were greeted and assisted by Peter. His communication was clean, he asked how were we feeling, then took the initiative to assist us with our luggage and apologized for the very long wait. He explained to us how everything works and even gave instruction to get the wolf ears. Please reward Peter, his customer service went ABOVE and BEYOND. I’ll be back because of him!

Very fun place for the family! Room was clean and spacious and service was top notch! And even though we were only there as a stopover, the kids had a great time, the staff was awesome and helpful, and the food was great!

There billing and cashless system is totally confusing and it’s hard to tell if I’m being over or double charged for certain items. Also, it can take up to an hour to get through to customer service!

Love this property!

Everything with the room parking, the hotel was great. The only thing that I had to complain about was at the waterpark, the main attractions being shut down due to conveyor belt issue with the boats that carry you down the slides.

Kids love it

It loses a star because everything was closed in the morning except for Dukin's doughnuts and it took me 20 minutes just to grab a milk because they have them locked up.

-recommend NOT booking through a 3rd party such as (Hotels.com) as per front desk staff was the cause for our wrist bands deactivating 3 separate times in a 24hr period. Each time they deactivated, I had to go back to the front desk, wait in a 20-30 minute line and get a new wrist band for all 8 of us. This was a very tasky job and for this alone I’d recommend not booking through 3rd party. Pure HASSLE. Food was subpar. Pizza was reasonably priced but boy was it not so great. The one topping cheese pizza was all dough with a few cheese sprinkles. Great things: -the birthday cake that is part of the birthday package was really tasty! -adding the family package with unlimited ropes course, rock wall, golf, mirror maze was a hit during down time from water park. We would do this again but would book directly through GWL and grab food offsite. Thanks!

I would recommend more knowledgeable staff, one person told me check out done at the register and another told me checkout was automatic. No one ever clarified

The water park is a blast but it is expensive and they overcharge for everything. $15 to self park your car. $35 for a plate of nachos, burger, fries, and one small drink. Resort fees that are almost as high as the room.

Ordered a pepperoni pizza for my son and it had four tiny pieces of meat. When i asked the polite woman why no meat she just said she didnt make it… Good fun here but plan on spending $100 on botttled water as Phoenix tap water isnt so tasty. The machine that takes the big tubes to the top of the waterpark broke down multiple times while we were here for four days making wait times very long for a 30 second ride. Food at dunkin donuts much cheaper than buffet but the buffet was good also. Overall fun stay just expect to pay 4 x what you would for incidentals than the mini mart down the way

the hotel is nice, but it could be better, the dining areas are bad, is the only restaurant with normal food and its open late and close early, the food is bad, for this kind of hotel it should be normal food for kids, not everyone feed their kids with fries. the Entertaiment was fun

Worst hotel you could ever stay at my room smelled like feet, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone, Great Wolf lodge should be ashamed of there Hotel, I expected my rooms to be clean, room felt disgusting.

Lots of costs to do additional things (mini golf, bowling, etc) and expensive for what it is. Eg. A cabana is $150 inside and $75 outside. Mandatory $15 per day parking to keep in mind too.

Great andfriendly staff

It's my fault for not realizing the extent of the kids play hotel. I thought it was just an indoor waterpark attached. There are hordes of children screaming and running around everywhere. It's a nice hotel, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are standard and it's in a good location. Food is expensive but that is to be expected. If you have kids, this is the place to be. There are some pretty amazing activities geared towards children. If you don't have kids, I would reconsider staying here. Lastly, there is no gym here. That was disappointing as well.

This place was awesome. All the activities kept my kids busy for days. My oldest didn’t want to leave. The staff was excellent! Everyone was very friendly and helpful! Would highly recommend.

We had a blast with our kids - ages 2 & 7!! Although we found the magiquest games to be difficult to understand, they still had fun waving the wand at the various spots around the property. Mini golf (very mini!) and bowling (also mini) were big hits though!! The water park itself is aweome. So much to do for kids of all ages! We stayed in the Grizzly Suite - it was a great size for us and we all slept well. We will definitely go back!!
