    1. Shower hot water was difficult to use. 2. Staff relatively unhelpful with early checkin. 3. Housecleaning poor with leaving door to adjacent room unlocked, trying to enter room to clean with little or no notice before 8am. 4. Difficult non-existent parking for checkin and guests. 5. Poor maps and directions for room and restaurant locations. 6. Poor locations for restaurant and bar resources. 7. Generally front desk staff not up to standard of a five star hotel.

    The staff was amazing, facilities were clean. So much to do on the property. Food and beverage on the property was great. Especially Bourbon Steakhouse. Only mark i would give it is the water pressure in the shower was lacking. Would not stop me from going back again.

    Overall very overpriced. Gym was a joke compared to comparable hotels (I have seen better at airport hiltons). Food was OK but extremely overpriced. I ordered a chicken sandwich and fries from room service and it was $60 with tip. I had to call and request my folio be sent to me 2 days after my check out because it never came to me. I could list my other items as well. Beautiful scenery but definitely not worth the price per night.

    Not worth the money for rude staff, barely any amenities for the resort fee, and basic rooms with not properly functioning plumbing which was gross to listen to gurgle all night. Nice to go to the pool but even then nothing special.

    This hotel is a dream. The staff is very attentive and helpful! It’s very family friendly and we enjoyed all the amenities it had to offer. Food is pricey but that’s expected for a 5 star resort.

    Rooms are outdated BUT pretty. The le labo in the rooms is a plus! I’ll be purchasing the lotion it smells lux!! WiFi barely works, pool service is SUPER slow… they asked if we were hungry at 11 am, we say yes! Nobody came back for our order til 1 pm when I finally asked for a server again. Ordered a fruit plate, never got it, was charged for it, had to get it removed but no apology. I will say one of the waitresses at the adults only pool did help by grabbing us a few seats when they were all taken. I am a firm believer that hotel guests should have priority over resort passers etc. Check in took foreverrrrrr…. for a 5 star resort the check in process should feel maybe a bit more luxurious? There was like 20+ people in line. Thanks for the free water tho… Maybe I went on the wrong weekend for it to feel lux… the place seemed big and too much happening with not enough staff. Granted it was a holiday weekend… The restaurants on the resort were great but room service and pool service food was below average. Pizza tasted awful! For the price point, I would probably stay at the Biltmore or Phoenician instead. Wouldn’t stay here again unless it was less than $250 a night

    The facilities were topnotch. The food was very good.ALL of the staff was frie day and helpful. The regular room rate would have been a major hit to our pockets. Thanks to you, Bookings, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at a more reasonable rate. I was there for a few days attending a conference.     Five minutes later I received a text from the wanting me to confirm my email for my room charges....(the room I still did not have) I waited in line again about 30 minutes later and was told it was ready. I asked why they didn't let me know, I was told they would text me...he apologized....now I was over the empty apologies and no real care seemingly coming from them so I explained nicely how my anniversary plans of staying at this amazing property and going out to an exclusive reservation only dinner was not going so well and in fact now my dinner reservations would be void as we would not be ready in time because of the 2 hour room delay, and would get charged anyway. He apologized again....I stated that was not going to be good enough at this point and I asked if there is anything else could be done. He said he would put a $100 food and beverage credit attached to my room and whatever we ordered would come off of that first. I was happy with that, although it didnt help he situation...at least it was something I could order a romantic dessert and breakfast with the next day. After check out I received my email invoice and no credit was put on.

    Beautiful space, luxurious without being pretentious. We found our room and the main areas to be well-maintained and clean. The pools are immaculate and well-attended. Food was awesome. Dinner at Bourbon Steak was unreal. It's a high-end steakhouse with more depth to the menu than a steakhouse normally has. And who doesn't love amazing cocktails??? Our meal was made even better by some of the best service I've enjoyed in any restaurant. Our man Milan was amazing, friendly and could teach a masterclass in sales and customer service. I also wanted to mention Gabriela who handled our check-in with all of the warmth and professionalism that you want when you arrive for your vacation. Highly recommended for families, couples or a getaway with friends.

    We had a wonderful time! We ate at both the Bourbon Steak House and Toro and the staff went above and beyond to make our evening such an event. Especially the Bourbon Steak House. We had fantastic service and the food was great! Such a fun night. The room was clean and comfortable and we loved sitting having our coffee on the balcony. The furniture in the room did seem worn for the price of the stay but everything else was great.

    Poolside service was incredibly slow. There were multiple times where they forgot our order so we just ended up ordering from the bar, but I don’t know if we were charged double. Room was great. Staff was friendly. Would possibly rebook again.

    I was left a little disappointed with the cleanliness of the resort considering it was a 5-Star Fairmont property. There was frequently trash that wasn’t picked up around the pool areas. Empty cups and plates were strewn throughout the property. Just left me asking for more considering how much we paid for our stay. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice resort but I’ve stayed at other 5-Star resorts that were cleaner and more attention to the little details.

    The staff were genuinely excellent — warm, attentive, and knowledgeable. Our Fairmont Gold room overlooking the TPC Stadium Course 6th hole was a great touch. The Gold lounge, though, was perpetually overcrowded with one coffee maker to serve everyone. At $1,000+/night, our expectations were high — and a few things fell short. On arrival, the resort was hosting a 600-person conference. Guests whose rooms weren't ready were sent to the pool — right where we were. Service collapsed; our server walked by for hours saying "I'll be right there" without ever stopping. When my wife complained, security suggested we leave. Both sides could have done better, but the resort created the situation by overbooking itself. The patio door to our room wouldn't lock on arrival, and by day two it wouldn't close at all. Two hours and multiple calls later, someone finally came — got it to close, but never to lock. We were told parts needed to be ordered. That's a real problem for a door with direct outside access to your room. The location and most of the staff were genuinely great, and a cheaper stay would've softened our reaction. But at this price, these weren't minor inconveniences — they were failures. We won't be back.

    The staff was so helpful. The pools were great and the restraints were wonderful too. We had an amazing server for breakfast each day at Ironwood and had a wonderful time at Bourbon Steak with Devin as our server. The only disappointing part was the spa and fitness area- you have to book a service to be able to sign up for a fitness class and it has to be that day. But all-in-all a very relaxing resort.

    There is no question that this property is amazing in many ways. The staff is always available and on point. The restaurants offer options for most palates. There are family and adult only pools. I think the best part is the attention to customer service. I do feel that the extra costs are a bit much, considering the cost of room. These include the daily valet charge and the daily Resort Experience Fee...I don't know what that covers. Just know you are staying at a premier resort and do get that experience. It's is beautiful!

    Room service was fast and the food was delicious with enough in each order to share. The room was clean and spacious with a beautiful patio and view. It was easy to make dinner reservations and we enjoyed every restaurant on site. It was easy to find our way around the property. We enjoyed our stay and already started making plans to return as we were checking out.

We have stayed in Fairmont Hotels in other places, i.e. San Franciso, and we have always had an excellent experience. I felt this property seemed a "little tired" and could use some sprucing up. Considering the expensive nightly cost of the hotel, and the expensive cost of every dinner and also the spa - where I paid $300.00 for a Facial - I would expect everything to be excellent. As an example, we had a first floor room in I Building, and the sliding wooden door would not open all the way. We called the second day of our 4-day stay there to have it fixed, yet it was not fixed and we did not get another contact from your Facilities Team. It wasn't a major thing because we didn't stay in the room that much, but I would expect more from a 5-star Fairmont Hotel. Overall, we had a good time, but again for the price, we expected a little more. I would have to think about staying in this hotel again, and would first try some other 5-star hotels in the area.

    6 night stay. Smelled totally foul the entire stay. Like a broken sewer pipe. The bar stinks. The food was brutal. The hallways and rooms are beat up. The “fairmont” waters in the room smell like it was filled from a swamp. I have no idea how this place passes for a Fairmont. The olden days of high standards are gone. The Chinese own this place now and are there to juice every dime possible from this run down place. Beware.

    The stay was marked by procedural inefficiencies that made the experience a bit of a drag - there was a line to valet the car, then there was a line to check in, then the room was kinda far away. They forgot to put down my credit card for the room so when we ordered room service the fella had to come back again to get the card scanned. On checkout there was once again a long line for valet. I wasted probably 1.5-2 hours of a 14 hour stay on just dealing with staff and procedural stuff (they were all very friendly, but what a waste). Red roof inn is more efficient than this and 1/10th of the price

It’s very disappointing to pay that much money to stay at a hotel that literally has no view, nothing really special at all as far as the grounds go, the only pretty thing to look at was the golf course.

    My wife and I stepped off the sidewalks quite a bit on to the grass to make way for the porters to get by on their golf carts, most of the time empty of passengers. I found it odd that there was no motivation for any of them to offer rides along the paths in the 110 degree heat. Don’t get me wrong, they were there to transport guests as long as the guests arranged the transport and met the porters at the proper locations. Watching empty carts traveling the paths and guests stepping off to make way for them is unique to this property. The pools were nice, but aging. They are completely renovating the main pool which was both disappointing and nice to see. I would have liked to enjoy the pool, but based on the condition of the other pools it is necessary. I’m sure it will be beautiful when the renovation is complete.

    Overall good property to stay at. They do charge for small things that aren’t at other properties such as cutlery/plate requests to room. Would think the resort fee would cover that. Food was mixed, sometimes fresh sometimes not so much (wilted salad) staff was friendly. Pools are fine, nothing too exciting but seemed well maintained. Room on sunset beach area was spacious and we actually liked our view of the rooftops and got some nice sunsets in the evenings.

    This was an amazing property I am very happy my husband and I were able to stay here for a few days. We enjoyed the many amenities including the Fairmont Gold rooms their breakfast was so nice to have close by and we really enjoyed having a drinking and snacks while we decided where to have dinner. We loved to walk the shops we even bought some fancy sunglasses for ourselves. The spas rooftop pool was incredible we enjoyed the intimate atmosphere and location. The staff everywhere we were treated us well and were very helpful guiding us to our destination next and helping with a nice golf cart ride. Thanks for everything we hope to be back

    The staff at this Fairmount demonstrated above average service. It was incredible. The spa was beautiful and did not disappoint far superior to the other spa we went to that won an award. The grounds were beautiful and so many options for pools and the grounds were incredible

    Best family vacation we've ever had! We stayed in the Privado suites with our five and 3 year old and they loved all of the pools and walking paths and places to explore. The food and drinks were amazing and the massage at the spa was wonderful. My only minor complaint was that I wish the suite had a kitchenette with an actual sink but we made it work. We requested a microwave and an additional mini fridge no problem. If you have young kids, you can buy sand toys and rafts at the pool bar which was really nice. Also highly recommend a cabana if you have young ones that want to rest in the shade!

    Staff were great! Lots of nice shops but no restaurants were open at 2:00 pm for a lite lunch, that’s ridiculous! Self parking was too far away! One elevator working while the other one being repaired.

    This property is beautiful! I came here on a girl’s trip before Covid and really liked it, so decided to return with my family. It was everything I could ask for. Great restaurants, clean, wonderful service, beautiful pools and views. Worth every penny

    We loved our stay at the Fairmont. The pools were great, the area was great, and we would stay again. Our only critiques would be the rooms were nice but probably not on par with other similarly rated properties, food was soso besides La hacienda was great, and the down service was quite late (close to 9 or after).

    The rooms and the grounds are beautiful. The Hacienda Restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. There was a huge convention there when we were there. There were 900 participants. This made everything crowded and very busy. It would have been much better with a smaller group.

    Loved the location and the pools. Everything was kept super clean and immaculate. It was a beautiful property with a lot of amenities. The staff was super friendly as well. We also enjoyed the spa and rooftop pool. We had a late flight and requested late checkout but they said they could not grant our request since someone else was checking in. The resort honestly didn’t seem full at all, so I was surprised they couldn’t honor our request.

    The property is beautiful and they treat you very well! It’s a 5 star hotel for sure! Our room in the Sunset building was beautiful and looked onto the Sunset Pool, very, very nice! The only negative is the parking for the Sunset building is across an empty field, and in the night it’s pitch dark! Not convenient at all! When I called on our last night to see if for that one night we could park in the Privado lot, ( that is right by our building), as we had an early flight and it would’ve made it easier for our luggage, I was told it wasn’t for us and a manager would have to make the decision! The lot was not full at all! The manager said they’d allow it but there would be a $40 charge! This is not a 5 star response at all! If a customer requests it and you can accommodate, you should! Other than the parking, very nice stay!

    Beautfiful resort, with excellent service. I've come before with my family and enjoyed the amentities like pools and fishing pond, but this visit, I was in town for an appointment and wanted a relaxing, quiet stay. The Princess did not dissapoint. My room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The bed is luxuriously made up with premium bedding and pillows. Had a fantastic sleep and visit. Would definitely stay again.

    We had a great stay during their Christmas celebration. I wish there was more communication on things happening. We missed the fireworks celebration on New Years Eve. For being a “kid friendly” hotel I was surprised there was no New Years celebration for them (even at noon). I wish the kids club was open later in the evening for adults to eat together or for families to play at the club. Housekeeping always came at 5pm which is when we were getting back from swimming and showering. The main restaurant for kids was randomly closed one evening (even though online said it was open). With notice, we would have planned better.
