Amazing location walkable/close to stadium,shops and restaurants. Easy to grab an uber/lyft to other stadiums too. Staff was sos so nice and even remembered that it was our anniversary and she sang happy birthday to my husband. Beds were hard but that is a preference not a deal breaker

The pool was nice, and they were located near a lot of convenient things, like a grocery store. The staff were nice and helpful, when available. The bed kept tipping up if you didn't sit on it just right. We had called down for towels a couple of times, but they either didn't have any available or just never brought them. They were actually laundering some one time and wouldn't let us have any as they "didn't have enough".

For the value of the property, it was very easy to get in and out of it. It was an older motel renovated, but for my needs, it was perfect. They had a small breakfast available, but I was busy and eventually had breakfast at Denny’s across the street

The overall condition of our unit was poor. The floor looked as though it had never been washed. Walked from the bathroom after taking a shower to the bed and my feet were dirty.

They furnishings in their room were very worn down, and the floors were dirty. Great location for Old Town activities, but would choose a different hotel unless your budget is severely limited

There wes no ice available. and the tv was limited because of problems with Direct tv. It was quiet and location was ecellent.

I liked that there is plenty of free easy parking available right outside the rooms. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are affordable and have everything you would need including a fridge freezer microwave and stove.

I liked the size of the room because I had a for a disabled. It was the only think left fir me. I really like it. I will get this type room all the time The orders that comes from the vents. It smelled like mold and smoke

It was clean amd the staff was amazing. Great location for what we wanted to do in the area. Bathtub didn’t seem to be installed correctly, no matter how we put the curtain, there was always water on the floor when finished, like the tub wasn’t level and leaning towards the floor.

It was a good location. The room was clean and pest free. The bathroom looked a bit dated. The bathroom sink had spots that could not be cleaned - as if in some recent updating work, some sort of glue or cement had seeped onto the sink and not been removed before it dried. The connecting rod for opening and closing the sink drain was missing, so I had to reach under the sink to flip the lever to open and close the sink drain. There was only one side chair and one high stool by the counter. It didn't leave room for sitting and having conversations with more than one friend at a time. Also, the complimentary breakfast was pretty much worthless. The muffins in the plastic wrappers were so horrible that after one bite, I simply threw it in the dumpster. Luckily, there were some good restaurants for breakfast.

In triple-digit Arizona heat, there wasn’t even an ice machine available, which is honestly unacceptable. On top of that, if you needed basic things like utensils, you had to order them instead of them being readily available. The room itself was very plain and lacked any comfort or character. Nothing about it felt worth the cost. The breakfast was also a letdown—limited options and poor quality. To make matters worse, we were charged for our service dogs, which should not happen. Overall, it just didn’t feel like a good value for the money, and I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Not much, but personal who ran the desk the day we checked in was great. Room was not good, floors were so dirty and gross I wouldn't take off my shoes. Shower was set up all wrong and allowed water to spray the entire floor (past shower curtain). Saw a couple of cars circling like they were casing the place or dropping off something elicit.

A little dated and could use some minor updates and/or maintenance (paint chipped around door frame and a stain on bathroom floor). But perfectly adequate for a reasonably-priced stay in Scottsdale with free parking. And, for Cactus League baseball, it is a short walk. Starbucks is right next door and dining options are nearby.

Staff was friendly, check in was quick. Beds were a little uncomfortable and you have to request dishes or utensils. There was no ice machine which seems crazy for AZ.

Disgusting, gross, filthy room. I would have swicthed places but everything was booked. Went out to Walmart and bought my own blankets, pillows and towels so that I didn't have to touch theirs. ugh... only good thing is the GM came through and gave me a full refund after I had emailed her and sent a video of the room. Where do I begin? The actual room looked nothing like the pictures on the website. The facility felt like a halfway house. A lot of the furniture was very old. The bed was squeaky. The mattress was lumpy. The pillows were a very uncomfortable. You could hear everything that Neighbor was saying I was not pleased with my stay there.

My room was barged in on while I was sleeping by front desk people, maids. They just open the door! I was in the bathroom once, and they walk in like it’s fine. This place is just a mess I don’t think if you want a hotel experience or spend time in old town there are so many other options.

I’m not sure where to begin, the sink didn’t work, the shower didn’t either or ever get warm water. There was mold in the shower, stains on almost every counter in the bathroom and room. When we go to our room we found housekeeping left three huge bags of garage piled in front of our door that we had to live to get inside. The garbage was still there two hour later. The water was shut off when we arrived, which they did not mention at check-in. We had no water and could not get ready for our night out. I called Extended Stay’s corporate customer service and it was a call center in India. They did nothing for us and had no record of my first calls when I called back. I could have stayed at the Hilton for the same price, big mistake.

Avoid this Extended Stay unless you want to spend a night at the Old Bates motel from the movie Psycho.. gives you a feeling of a rusty 70s road side motel.. the only positive thing about our stay was that the location is really close to Fashion Square.. Lady at the front desk while checking in was really friendly though.

So if you don't mind a few inconveniences, there is a goodwill down the road a bit to pic up cheap supplies if you are staying longer than 2 days. The gentleman at the desk was alone and hustling all along the way as the hotel was full and he was alone..

This place was horribe some staff unprofessional . Rooms dirty bed broke moved up to a different room because we requested a pull out the pull out did not even have a mattress on it. Dishwasher old food stunk up entire room no extra blankets holes in wall and furniture . Yelling through hallways just nasty .

The Staff here are extremely courteous. Go out of there way to help your stay be as comfortable as possible. Ive enjoyed my stay here. Front desk staff are the Best.

It was absolutely perfect. I have no complaints whatsoever. Although most people who work at some places like this. They have such attitudes at the front desk and I was blessed with two of the sweetest most down-to-earth people and it was so awesome meeting them. I look forward to doing more business with them..

This place has gone downhill since my last stay. It was like a motel 6 with an unstocked kitchenette. Reserved a queen bed but, got a full size instead that was very uncomfortable. The bathtub had a broken stopper. It was a pretty lame experience. Do better.

Not a bad place to stay for the price. The kitchen and full size refrigerator are what sold it for me. Conveniently located, decent price and very friendly staff make this a good choice for long or short term stays!

I had called to verify that checking in last 12:00am would be permissible and was told yes. Upon arriving I was told “the system is rebooting” and simply had to sit and wait outside with my bags until 1:00am. This was not a very nice start after a very long day and simply wanting to get some rest. Upon entering the room, there was debris, an overall lack of cleanliness, and leftover towels from past guests (including under the bed). Not impressed and pretty disappointed that I was charged fully after being left outside.

The hotel is old and the bed and bath linen are too worn out. The staff, except for one person in the lobby, were rude and unhelpful. The only positive aspect of the hotel is that it’s conveniently located near Old Scottsdale town.

I was accused of lying. They said i said i was checcking in alone when i stated i was checking in me 1. We also had a service dog with us so they kicked us out.

Great location

overall a clean, decent hotel, in a quiet area, just 4 long block walk away from Scottsdale and the ball park where the Giants play spring training games. A nice museum near by hotel and nice walk, families out walking about near town. The arts district, ballpark, and restaurants are close attractions. The area around the hotel can be rather quiet and absent of people walking around. The hotel is clean but the restroom basin old and needs updating, clean, no smells, bed and linens are clean. Noticed 1-2 vagrants in nearby parking lot, otherwise, no drug dealing, or homeless spotted. If traveling solo, I'm comfortable here and walking around the area in the daytime, less sure in the evening, but if you stay or head to the downtown Scottsdale area, lots of night life, with bars and restaurants.

The hotel clerk was fine. I was booked in a handicapped room which I did not need. Why not save that room for someone who needs wheelchair access?The room was dim. All the lighting was so poor. The room smelled musty. I wondered if it had been cleaned. Both the burners for the stove and food on them. The furniture was pretty worn out. Also, a door outside my room kept being slammed. I think it was the laundry room. Last note: I have never written a poor review for a hotel. I am easy to please.

The room was dated, chipping paint, stains, etc., but in overall average condition. There was a fridge, microwave, small table, parking right outside your door. We were able to park on the property and walk to many restaurants, coffee houses, downtown Scottsdale, etc. I would recommend, as long as you realize it is the location that was a plus.

Our room was nasty! We found someone's old dirty clothes in the dresser and used magnesium foot rub left in the cabinet. I did not appear that anyone cleaned the room after the people left, only the bed had clean sheets but the comforter was dirty

The staff was excellent and accommodated my early check-in which was great.

Very impressed with the lady who checked us in. We were very early and she actually ran to the second floor to see if a room would be ready for us. Although we did have to pay a fee, it was very nice of her to do that. Plus, she was just so nice and so friendly.

We liked the price but sadly it wasn’t worth $180 a night, the bed was not comfortable,you could feel and hear the springs. Restroom needed some TLC,shower had mildew stains and the sink was covered in soap scum. Our last night had loud tenants above us cussing and fighting with their kid outside our door in their busted up van yelling “momma” idk what was going there but it went on until after midnight. Thankfully it was our lastnight there.

Overall, a convenient and relatively inexpensive motel to stay near oldtown Scottsdale. Close to the Honor hospital if you have need to visit patients. Rooms are dated and could use more maintenance. Outlets held plugs very loosely and should be replaced. Stove/burners were probably not working properly in my room, (not hot enough). Microwave, refrigerator and beds were fine. Space is a room with two beds is cramped. Breakfast is a grab and go affair with coffee/tea/cocoa and a small muffin/granola bar (instant oatmeal was also available). The outside pool looked like the newest part of the motel and was in great shape.

This property is completely run down. The bed was smaller than double-sized (even though my reservation was for 2 people). There were cigarette burns on the bathroom counter, mold in the bathroom, missing cabinet doors, the water smelled of sulfur and there was “business” happening outside the room door in the parking lot all hours of the night. Do not stay here, at least not in room 221. We felt too grossed out and unsafe to even stay the second night of our intended stay. Gladly paid for a different hotel even though I couldn’t get my money back

It was okay. The registration process was very poor. The evening manager was more interested in her phone conversation than serving us.

Property very well located and rate reasonable. Generally acceptable in all areas but showing its need for updating and refreshing. Staff helpful but seemed overworked.

Super dirty and gross. Bedsheets looked unclean. Little hairs on the pillows smelled terrible and was super overpriced. This might be one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in in my whole life.

This is literally a Motel. Very nice for a Motel but in no way a hotel. The beds are on stilts.

Morning desk lady was extremely rude, water in the bathroom smelled like sewer, toilet kept backing up, floors were filthy, no USB port, and they kept giving my room to other guests.

Near Old Town Scottsdale. Most of the furniture has worn portions that were well past needing replacement.

The floor was dirty. It seemed to be clean - swept at least - but my feet after walking to the bathroom and back were filthy! The beds were on a simple frame, which, at first glance, seemed to be wildly uncomfortable, but actually weren't that bad. So that was nice! The sheets were clean and good. But the layout of the room? Weird! The bathroom door swung into the pathway, so it had to be opened and closed to walk in and out of the bathroom doorway. The full sized fridge was nice, but it opened backwards! I had to squeeze between the wall and table and chairs to get the door open; there wan't room to stand in front of the fridge and open it! The outdoor pool was a delight! We discovered it was heated and thoroughly enjoyed paddling around in it!

I rate this hotel about a 2.0. This was our first time choosing an extended stay suites room. I expected so much more from a nationwide hotel. The room was quite musty, the furniture was very beat much in need of upgrading. The barstool in kitchen was broken, when we went to sit on it the chair completely came loose. The bathtub looked filthy but it was actually stains. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the springs squeaked tremendously. There was no free breakfast as stated on the hotels. Com app. This was a huge disappointment as that was part of our reason for choosing them. The real positive thing was the location was just a few minutes from Scottsdale Stadium and the downtown night life. The price per night was so much cheaper than most in the area. I probably would not stay here again

Upon check in the room had not been cleaned. The bathroom was filthy. The room was terribly dirty. The internet was in an out the entire time I stayed there - never had constant internet service. There is no maid service so you clean your own room and wash your own towels. I stayed there for the convenience but I won't be staying there again.

I'm going on my 12th day staying here. My expectations have been exceeded. For the cost per night, I expected much less. No bugs, Yeah! No riff raft strangers visiting the property, Yeah! Fairly quiet throughout the day and night, Yeah! Overall, I endorse this hotel. Again, for the price it's a great deal and comfortable experience.

When I came back later for actual check-in, nobody was at the office. I waited for almost 20 minutes, then had friends drive around the building to find someone who could call the manager. A "Back in a minute" sign had been up on the counter both times I was there. When the manager came and said "didn't you see the sign?," I explained that it had been sitting there since 12 p.m. (it was now around 5 p.m.) and I suggested she add a sticky note indicating an actual time when she would return next time. Sadly, too many places are terribly understaffed these days and customer service is almost non-existence. The room itself was was nice and clean. I liked having a full-size fridge.

The floor was very dirty. The breakfast was just a muffin and black coffee.

Lordy, I now understand why high deposits are typically better properties because people really don’t care for properties and it shows. The cigarette smell refused to go away even with me bleaching down the bathroom. I appreciate the convenience and price point so I am not going to be snobby about it but whew! Extended stays need major renovations and to set a bit of a better standard to prevent quick rundown of your properties.

The place is rundown and disappointing for being in old town scottsdale.

Its just really dated/dirty/beds are awful ...phone didnt work so had to go to office for pillows and towels etc and they wouldnt give them we had to wait for them to bring it up and she 4got so had to go ask AGAIN...and wait again....only good thing was the pool and location but will probably stay in glendale next time much better

Nice quiet and relaxing front desk staff was wonderful

Had fire in the hotel room. Somebody did not turn off kitchen burners off. Bathroom was Smokey from fan. I had buy new stuff. New container and silver wears container. Stay there for 9 days . Diry rooms smells bad.

$12 a night would be fair.

The worst customer service ever. They were rude and frequently walked away, left the front desk with the phone ringing, and never paid any attention to me as a customer when I was there having issues.

and i didn’t get to stay or keep my reservation because my guest was on some DO NOT RENT to list and she advised that I would receive a full refund and I have yet to.

Strange people come onto the property late night and use certain substances in the back parking lot , Not a nice thing to bump into when your walking your dog .
