No cookware readily available but I knew that upon booking, room was clean enough but fitted sheet had brownish stain resembling old sweat stains, AC kept the room nice and cold. Staff accommodated my request to be on the first floor due to having an older arthritic dog who doesn’t do well in elevators nor can take the stairs. A couple of inconveniences: 1. went to walk my dog for a few minutes the day before check out, only to find my key card not working. I had to go to the office to have him reset it; 2. Thirty minutes before scheduled checkout time, WiFi was shut off. Luckily, I have my cell data I could use as hotspot.

I booked this place because my husband was having surgery at Mayo Clinic and we needed an inexpensive ADA room, close to the hospital. The room was FILTHY DISGUSTING, to the point we did not walk barefoot at all. None of the doors closed properly. The bathroom was grimy and the towels were dingy and torn. Staff would not come clean the room (they only clean the rooms once every 2 weeks), give extra towels (they will charge you for extra), and I ended up having to do my best to clean the bathroom floor myself. We couldn’t move rooms because we were told that was the only walk-in shower available (necessary for my husband). The 3rd day we were there, there was a small cockroach in the bathroom. The internet went out halfway through our stay and stayed out with no update from staff for any estimated time of restoration. The air conditioner was stuck at “61”, but never cooled the room (necessary in Phoenix). We just had a fan blowing, basically. Then they had a crew of 2 guys who came to “clean” all AC units in the building. These 2 guys were very rude, and refused to change their schedule when I told them my husband would be in the room recovering, and could they come during a time he’s awake or out for a walk. The office staff doesn’t even open the office door until 9am, and the in-room phone didn’t work to call the office. This was the WORST experience I have ever had at a hotel. I will never return here and want a refund. This place was beyond filthy, and should be shut down!

The bed was too hard to sleep on, the chair wasn't any better, the carpet was dirty, the a/c barely blew, the first room they put me in reeked of cigarettes and it's supposed to be smoke free rooms, so they moved me to a different room and it was very uncomfortable and the carpet was dirty. There's no lobby with coffee or anything. I'll never stay there again, I stayed in a different extended stay hotel and it was great but this one is awful

Called at 7pm, stated I would be a late check in due to traffic/travel. They told me to call on the phone outside the office. I got there rough 11:50pm..they advised me they couldn't check me in until after 2am because of the night aduit process. So they made me sit in my truck until 2am woth no bathroom, already sleep deprive. At the this point I'm beyond pissed. I've worked all sorts of mid to high end hotel jobs and NEVER NOT ONCE weren't able to get someone checked in and we damn sure didn't deny them a bathroom. The night audit staffs attitude about the situation was absolutely unacceptable. She also told me she would not even try to get me a late check out or did ahe apologize for my situation. I had an absolutely all around terrible experience. Room was not clean, smelled like smoke, bathroomm sink was rusty. I will NEVER give this brand my business again. Especially for $205. Total rip off. Best Western or motel 6 has nicer rooms. Piss poor system management prevents customers from checking in on late arrivals. The knight auditors attitude and demeanor was piss poor. The room was actually dirty and felt outdated. The room smelled like smoke.

The location was perfect. The ground-floor room was convenient. Room key worked fine. No dishes or utensils. Flooring had gouges and was very dirty. Towels were old and stained. No shampoo. Felt like the owners were very greedy and wanted to provide the least amount of amenities and collect as much as possible.

Just know this is a BARE bones hotel! Bar of soap & 2 bath towels only in the bathroom. Room dated but CLEAN, comfortable and we felt safe! For the price, was just what we needed for 2 nights in Scottsdale!

No one was at the checking counter when we arrived. The check in staff were horrible and rude. Then we went to our assigned room and it was still dirty. They never brought clean towels and never threw the trash. The shower was slippery and there were snot on the shower walls. It was disgustingly. Call the office and no one ever came to clean the shower. They were obviously short staff. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN.

Stayed for medical reasons. Spent minimal time in the room, but was satisfied overall. Served as a good landing pad to wash up and rest. Good accomodations. Good price. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Some wear and tear in the restroom. Tub stopper leaked and required occasional refilling.

Dirty and filth resort. The pictures on the website were not accurate. Nasty room, broken items, old raggedy carpet. AVOID this hotel.
- 3/5
After the shock of the pet fee at check-in that wasn’t disclosed during the booking process and the first room smelling of smoke and a pet had peed on the corner of the bed the staff moved us into a different room that was clean but lacked the basic amenities.
- 3/5
The location is excellent, near Kierland in Scottsdale, but it is cheaper than other hotels nearby for a good reason. When I arrived to check in, there was a sign that said back in a few minutes. I think I waited there about 20 minutes. I assume she was on a smoke break, because I saw her outside smoking again later. The room was clean, but it wasn't designed well. The door to the bathroom hits the toilet. Ok if you are trying to save money.
- 1/5
The staff member, Ree Ree, was friendly and helpful and provided us with her office coffee maker after we discovered there was NONE in the room, despite it being listed in the Expedia booking. The kitchenette, however, was essentially NON-functional and lacked basic equipment, raising the question of why it is advertised as a kitchen at all. Amenities were very limited. Toiletries consisted only of toilet paper and a single bar of soap. There was NO shampoo, NO conditioner, NO hair dryer, and NO hand towels were provided. Bath towels were small, and only two were provided for two guests over a four-night stay. There was also NO iron or ironing board. Overall, the room felt dusty and NOT well maintained, and the lack of basic amenities made the stay uncomfortable.

The entrance to the room needed some attention but other than that it was pretty good.

- 2/5
The place is cheap for a reason. It's pretty dirty and falling apart. They didn't have enough spare linens to give us a clean set of sheets and blankets after several days and we had to wait for them to finish the laundry which I thought was weird. They are pet friendly which is great.
- 3/5
It was good for pets, safe parking, but the room was very dirty. The floor was so dirty we couldnt wear socks or go barefoot on floor, shower floor was greasy..I tried to clean it with their washcloth but it turned tar black. Bring your own towels... they are an extra 1.75 each otherwise you can exchange them every 14 days at no charge. I'm pretty easy going but for almost 200 a night Id like the floors tolerable...I wasn't camping...

Room had a water leak from the fridge puddle of water constant in the kitchen area. The room had someones pills on the floor and staff said the room had just been cleaned. On 2 separate days we asked for extra wash clothes and bath towels and they didn't have any. There was a mildew smell in the room every time we came back to the room.
- 2/5
Nothing Luke warm water, locked out of my room several times due to my key card not working, they tried to double charge me resulting in me having to wait 20 minutes in the lobby to check in.
- 3/5
The office was closed when I arrived late at night, there was a phone outside office you pick up to speak with someone, eventually I was transferred to a corporate office after about5-10 minutes. They contacted someone at the property and they finally checked me in. The person was very nice. When I went to the room the interior door lock was on and I couldn’t get in. Luckily the front desk person noticed me before she left and gave me a different room.
- 2/5
Does not match the expectations for an extended stay property - no utensils in the kitchen - nothing, not even a cup or glass. No coffee maker, fridge sounded like a plane taking off. No breakfast, no gym.

This place is a dump, which is surprising given it's location in Scottsdale. The carpet in the room was filthy & stained. The chair in the room had a giant split in the material & looked awful. The furniture was broken & damaged. The refrigerator ran all night long & was noisy. There was no hair dryer (what kind of hotel doesn't provide a hairdryer?!) & one of the towels seemed dirty & had something crusty on it plus, the blanket on the bed had long, dark hairs all over it. And the keypad on the doors didn't work. I had to be escorted to my room to get the door opened. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again. For the $200 I spent, it was a complete waste of money. If I had arrived earlier without somewhere to be early the next morning, I would not have toughed it out but would have gotten my money back & gone somewhere else.
- 3/5
I could not find the hotel because it is set way back from the main street and so I drove around and around to find it.

This was used as a local over-night during the Phoenix Open, and compared to other hotels was a fraction of the bulked-up costs, and yet it was still VERY over-priced for what you get. Room 205 had the looks of a seedy motel in a horror flick. There was carpet coming up/apart, patch worked kickbase/trim, cracks/dings/broke down looking walls, the bathroom is SO small that the door only clears the toilet by about 1cm, the busted furniture, the dirty bathroom floor under the sink, and the awful mattress made this a yucky experience. Would not recommend the actual hotel, but staff and location make it slightly better.

Staff was great and very accommodating. There is no kitchenware, no kettle, no coffee maker, no plates, no cups - quite unexpected at an extended stay hotel. The description "all rooms featuring a fully equipped kitchen" is misleading, it refers to the 3 included appliances - stove, fridge, microwave and nothing else. The description fails to mention that there will be no kitchenware.

And to add insult to injury, they told me to contact Expedia for refund, but the hotel charged my credit card for the night after I left in the dark. I was lucky that I had a car, just imagine if you had come in an uber from the airport or if you were a family with children. save your sanity and dont even think of ANY Extended Stay as an option.

I was flying into Phoenix unexpectedly and didn’t have a place to stay so I made a reservation at extended stay in Scottsdale for 3 nights. I received a confirmation code from hotels.com. At about 800pm on 10/7 I went to check in and the Front Desk turned me away. They had a big sign taped on their lobby door that said “Sold Out” I explained that I had made a reservation that day and she responded that this happens a lot with third parties. She said there wasn’t anything she could do about it so I scrambled and found another hotel that had availability. I checked my AmEx card a few days later acre saw that I was charged for one night. I tried getting in touch with hotels.com with no luck so I’ve started the process of AmEx trying to get my money back.

It sucked, I reserved though Expedia. Once I arrived there was a sign stating that all rooms were occupied so to call a number. Once I called they stated there was no rooms so I was out of luck and it was 12 am.

A good location close to food and activities. The staff was friendly. The room had an intense smell of cigarette smoke. After hours there is no way to make a complaint about loud guests in rooms above. I leave early and work late hours until 9pm and after those hours there is no one at the desk to report issues to after hours. I barely slept my entire stay because of extremely loud stomping and loud voices above my room.

I booked a room here for myself and my daughter from the parking lot at 11:30pm after leaving my husband in the hospital. Then went to the lobby door that was locked, used the phone outside to call for an after hours check in. A storm started pouring rain and my little one was crying. After 10 minutes of being on hold I canceled my stay and went somewhere else. If check in has an end time then why was I able to book a stay from the app? Even outside the place smelled like an ashtray. I’m glad we ended up leaving because I am certain it wouldn’t have been a nice stay.

Some of my linen on my bed had stains on them, but overall extended stay was very convenient price wise and a peaceful stay. The staff was very very friendly and they made me feel very welcomed. There were some times where I had to wait for assistance for a few minutes but I understand having to attend to multiple people at 1 time.

Killed a bug that looked like a cockroach; black mold above the shower; sink drain rusted; cigarette burn in the carpet; door was not sealed well so room losing cool air. Office open limited hours, did not know what to do for check out because there was no instructions, so left key in room.

They didn’t honor the reservation. Told me that there was no rooms available when I got there. The front desk person told me that it’s not really a reservation when there’s no rooms available, though even though I had a confirmation that I showed him. pretty disappointed. Front desk also told me I was pretty lucky. I didn’t pay which insinuated to me that had I wouldn’t gotten my money back.

The staff was excellent - very friendly and competent. There is, however, a funny smell in the room. Not foul, but strange. It may be due to the cleaning chemicals used.

I booked this at 1118pm. When I arrived the property was locked and there’s a phone to call for the help desk. They continue to tell me that I did not book a reservation. After I proved to them that I did book a reservation by providing a confirmation number. They then stated that they canceled my reservation because they do not do reservations after 11 PM I was stuck standing outside in the evening at midnight with no room even though my deposit and money had been paid of $99.30 I spoke with multiple agents using their wall phone someone named Net and Ari both were very short and unhelpful. Now I need to figure out how to get a refund for a property I never stayed at.

This place was a dive in a high rent area in Scottsdale, Arizona disrepair smelled blood on the floor, broken furniture. I’m sure there are better places in Skid Row. This should not even be a listed property with Hotels.com. It does your service no favors.
- 5/5
Staff were very friendly and accommodating
- 1/5
This property is just bad. Room was dirty and very outdated, didn’t have ANY toiletries, and hard a huge crack in the side of the door that let in bugs (and Lord only knows what else). The staff were friendly but this hotel (motel to be more accurate) should definitely be avoided.
- 1/5
Visitor beware !!! this is not a hotel there are no services, or you have to pay for them housekeeping every 14 days or 10.00 daily fee. 1.75 fee for sheets towels etc. Fee for any pots pans 50.00 fee if you don't carry your own trash to dumpster there is never anyone at front desk after hours. that was for starters when we got to our room floor was not clean dresser doors were broken, and drawers were dirty inside. The other guests were very noisy. The police had to show up twice. and if you like to smell pot all night this is your flop house. don't be fooled that it's in Scottsdale. Rough Neiborhood.
- 1/5
This was absolutely a horrible experience. The lady that helped check me is was the only thing that was good. She was very helpful but wasn't able to get a hold of her again because we had checked in so late. Once getting into the room, it wasn't clean. There was dust all over the room. There were things that I have no idea that were in the sink and toilet. The Bathtub wasn't really clean and I almost don't want to explain the bed. Lets just say there was no way I was going to sleep in them. Absolutely unsatisfied. And they never helped refund me due to the uncleanlyness.

Room needs updating, few amenities
- 1/5
Very poor condition rooms for such a nice area in Scottsdale. Hotels.com should be embarrassed to let the property deteriorate to such a level. The bathroom was badly in need of repairs and the hotels.com website completely misrepresented the condition of the rooms. Shame on you !!!

Other than wanna be gangsters at the car wash next door yelling about t was very nice and comfortable

Checked in and immediately had to change rooms because the water in the shower would not stop running. The room we moved to had deteriorating walls and in the morning we discovered roaches. They did refund all but one nights stay. All in the middle of upscale north Scottsdale. Thought better of Extended Stay America. This place is an absolute dive.March 2025

This was my second time visiting and the room that was provided was way cleaner this time. The staff was prompt with responding to any questions we had and provided more towels when we needed them.

This hotel is disgusting. Mold in the bathroom, boogers on the shower curtain, toilet clogged upon arrival.
- 1/5
Took 2 hours to check in. Then sent me up to a dirty room that had trash everywhere and bathroom waa disgusting.. Piss all o er the toilet and floor. Went to front desk to beg someone to clean it. Finally an hour later the maid who was smoking and chatting it up to a friend finally showed up and cleaned the bathroom. She left us with no toilet paper and no soap. It was an aweful experience !!!
- 1/5
Never before have I stayed in an Extended Stay completely devoid of everything but an uncomfortable bed. Not even a coffee maker.
- 3/5
We checked in and went to our room. After unpacking, we discovered the heat/ air conditioner did not work. We got a room change after we repacked. The room was very spartan and did not have and kleenex or a place for it. At 8AM, the leaf blower dounded likd a semi truck in from of the room. End of sleep after a long drive. No coffee, in the lobby, and no breakfast offered to guests. I would not stay there again.
- 1/5
When we arrived to check in the office was open but no one was there to help check us in. waited about 45 minutes started making calls with no help. someone finally came in and said the other person working had to leave and she had to come in from the store. Next the room they checked us into was dirty beds undone. next room beds were made but there was bloody trash in the bathroom. disgusting we called but they said they had no more rooms and would come clean it, no one ever came. Horrible experience!!

- 4/5
Just ok. No amenities in bath. Very Basic. TV small screen in today’s market.
- 5/5
This is my second stay there. And I can’t say enough good things about the place. This is not the Four Seasons, of course. But dollar for dollar, and is the best value you will find in Scottsdale. Whether you’re in town for some of them most fantastic shopping options you can find which you can walk to or drive just a few minutes.. or you are in town for work and wanna make sure if you have a quiet, clean comfortable place to unwind after your workday, this is the place that can fit most any situation. They also have some fantastic deals on weekly and monthly rates if that is something you need, they can save you some big bucks.

Staff Stressed, more than half the electrical outlets didn’t work.
- 1/5
Only 1 bath towel. No other towels NOTHING in the kitchen area. Just an empty counter with a microwave and small refrigerator. No coffee pot TV remote did not work The only good thing about this hotel was its location
- 2/5
Bare bones room, no coffee, no shampoo, really disappointing for the money.
- 5/5
Very clean and quiet. Would definitely definitely stay here again again when in the area. Staff is awesome!
- 5/5
Super convenient to walk to TPC Scottsdale and other restaurants and things to do. 30 min uber from Camelback Ranch
- 2/5
Run down. It's got a full kitchen, but it costs $40 or more extra if you want plates, etc. Office is not staffed. I left a day early and wanted to let them know, but searched the property without success. Great location, but will not stay there again.
- 4/5
Great room but had kitchen with no kitchen supplies no coffee maker nor lobby had coffee.
- 4/5
Great "basic" room used for the week while volunteering at the WMPO. Last minute reservation so we could only get a Queen bed. No pots, pans, plates, or utensils provided unless purchased in the office. We went to Target for what we needed. If you're volunteering at the Open, the hotel is only 1 1/2 miles from the volunteer tent.
- 5/5
Nothing more to add
- 2/5
An interesting mix of a very clean hotel and one with no open lobby from 10 pm to 9 am. Small cheap furnishings, but in the morning no way to check out (either online or by calling the front desk), so I simply left and hoped I wouldn't get charged. Older furnishings contrasted with very very clean interior and exterior, so hard for me to rate it. Lack of a 24-hour front desk was a problem.
- 1/5
Expensive for what it is. No shampoo/conditioner, lotion, bar soap and no hair dryer. First place I have ever been that does not have that stuff complimentary. I did not pack any as I was only staying 2 nights.
- 1/5
Crappy stewardship of the facility, no real services and noisy. TV remote does not work, bath sink drain stopped up, not even tissues in the entire room. Crapp towels in the bath, no shampoo.
- 4/5
Quiet multi-night stay in Scottsdale, with our pets. Only complaint was odor in the room…maybe a past pet accident ? Bought a small air freshener and all was fine. Kitchenette worked well for our needs. Everything else was satisfactory for our needs for this trip!

Always a good spot to stay. Front desk is great. Comfy beds. Good nights sleep. Im in.

Always good to me. No issed at this property

Ive stayed here several times. No issues here. They do allow dogs and sometimes I will hear dogs barking in the room. I dont know if they have a penalty for consistent barking dogs, but thats my only issued. Sometimes you may (i havent yet) get bad luck and be very comfortable in your room, when out of nowhere, the person above you or to your left/right comes in with a barking dog. That refuses to shut they’re dog up. Luckily I haven’t dealt with that yet. Other than that. Its all good here.
- 5/5
Great staff and great rooms
- 1/5
there were dead cockroaches in one of the drawers in the kitchen, and the room smelled like urine. there was a woman screaming obscenities off and on throughout the night, and every time she started screaming, dogs in the rooms nearby started barking. We thought North Scottsdale would be nice, but it was more like staying in South Phoenix. We did talk to the manager the next morning at check out, and she apologized for the bad experience, but did not offer a full or partial refund.
- 5/5
Smooth check in. Professional front desk receptionist. Considered my preferences. Very well satisfied
- 2/5
Very disappointed in the amount of insects I found in the room
- 3/5
It was just not as clean as I thought it would be I found 2 cockroaches in the room. Smelled like tons of bug spray and the shower head had a lot of corrosion.
- 5/5
Very good staff
- 1/5
As soon as we got to the room, we found cockroaches crawling in the bathroom surfaces were dirty, still splatter marks from the sink and toothpaste. Counter in the kitchenette was also gross. We left the same day that we checked in. Asked for a refund, told it would be given and then we still have not received it.
- 4/5
I stayed in a king room. I found the accommodations to be acceptable. The tv and channels where a little rough but ok for a night or so. The mattress sucked was hard as rocks the pillows thinner than paper but acceptable for a night or 2. The room itself is a good open size and the amenities are good for short or long stays. A sold 3/5 stay but a little pricy at 112 for the night i stayed.
- 1/5
Do not waste your money booking here.
- 4/5
I liked that was inexpensive but I had no idea how this place operates. More than a hotel is a place that operates for long stays so management is not available from 10pm-8am. If you have a problem you cannot contact them. It happened that one rule of the hotel is to keep quiet after 10 pm and to not smoke inside 100ft from the premisses. When I arrived at 1pm, one of the guest was seating on the corridor smoking which I guess was tobacco, but later on passing close to the room there is a strong scent to marijuana. The first night was fine but the 2nd one some guest close to that room were talking until 1 am. At 11:30 pm I was not able to fall asleep due to the talking. I kindly asked the guest to respect the silence rule after 10 pm and he responded he would keep talking or "make me shut up". I no longer talked to them, got into my room, and tried to call management with no response, and no way to communicate with them. The next day I contacted them and they kindly changed me to another room.
- 1/5
Booked a room for 3 nights through expedia. The property said if checking in late to let them know and they will put our names down for a late check in, which I was told they did. We showed up to check in around 1 am and were told our name was not on the list and even if it was, they had no rooms available for us. We were stranded at 1 am even though we had a confirmation and had pre paid the room a month in advance. They gave our room to someone else.... Luckily we found a room down the road to stay in after being stranded for over an hour. Horrible experience and will not stay with this hotel again..
- 1/5
Bring your bug spray and roach kill. We ended up ckecking out early because it was creepy
- 5/5
Awesome!
- 1/5
BUGS BUGS BUGS. Killed about 20 roaches my first night, left early the next morning and cancelled the last two nights. It was very dirty. Floors sticky, towel from previous guest still hanging, dirt in every drawer, and generally nasty. Staff said the exterminators came recently and they're probably getting drawn out. Obviously there's a problem here not getting fixed and they weren't surprised at all.
- 1/5
The room had roaches in the bathroom. Bed was hard. Pillows were very thin. There were no hand towels, but we had a couple of extra washcloths to use instead, I guess. No hairdryer, and the kitchen cupboards were totally empty (but not clean). The one positive is that the air conditioning worked. Only stay here if you love a Motel 6 aesthetic at Scottsdale's upscale prices.
- 1/5
As soon as you enter, it smells really nasty. Like dirty socks smell spread across the room, sprayed as much as I could and nothing helped. Room looked tacky and old but the smell was unbearable. Requested a refund after being in the room less than 5 minutes
- 2/5
We will not stay here again! The towels smell bad, the microwave was dirty, the trash from the previous guest was still under the sink AND there were ROACHES! I did tell management they needed an exterminator!
- 2/5
No microwave no coffee no kitchen pots pans or nothing empty kitchen tv remote did not work Room was clean
- 2/5
The bathroom was extremely dirty with beard trimmings and toothpaste all over the sink and counter in the bathroom!

l didnt like you advertise dishes and cook wear for free but there not. my bathroom door was very hard to close. floors were dirty.no back up toilet paper .not enough towels and wash cloths,no shampoo or bar soap. floors were dirty and kitchen floor sticky. l was very disappointed with room cleanliness. and staff at the front desk were like lt was a burden on them to help me . they just didnt have a good attatode .
- 5/5
The night person helped ensure my wife could be accommodated with a ground floor room. The room was functional, but we had to go back to the desk to get kitchen supplies.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 2/5
The staff at the check-in was very nice. The check-in was quick and easy. When I arrived in my room, you could tell some things were outdated along with a huge burn in the countertop. However, when I went into the bathroom and turned on the light tons of cockroaches, scattered and scurried everywhere. They were all over and in the kitchen. It was so gross I decided to leave. I didn’t even fulfill my stay!
- 4/5
It is a nice place to stay.

Nice and clean
- 2/5
It was diry and has bugs everywhere in bathroom and bed area. There was no smoke detector and smells dirty. Not enough towels,no wash cloth in the bathroom.
- 2/5
I have stayed here many times but this time I found bed bugs. One was on the sheet while there were more on the corner of the bed skirt. Was moved to another room but that’s about it. That room had no bugs but the smell was a little off putting.
- 1/5
Was not clean when we got there. Didn’t provide breakfast after stating it did in the booking and used another properties pictures for advertisement
- 1/5
Not impress the conditions of the room.
- 3/5
I couldn’t get the water on for a shower. The clerk transposed my last name with my cousin’s so I couldn’t use the internet. I couldn’t get the tv to full screen so I had to watch it in a very small window in the top left hand corner.
