Hotel was pleasant and clean, easy to get to from the highway or Randolph AfB. About 15 min drive to the base. Needs a bar or restaurant vs making people leave he hotel after work to get a drink and relax

Elevator was not working during the whole stay. Had to climb to 4th floor with all the luggage and other stuff. Otherwise it was nice place.

Hotel was nice, breakfast was good, hotel was clean BUT when we arrived, when we checked in we were told the elevator wasn’t working, an our room was on the 4th floor. This would have been fine if it was only our one day of our stay. It was not working the entire 5 days of our reservation. I think they should have made better accommodation, move us floors or check with other IHG hotels in the area for same accommodation. A bit disappointing seeing I use IHG hotels all the time!

The elevator was out. We were on the 4th floor. Was not offered a room on a lower floor. We both have knee issues, making the climb frustrating. The lights/ plug between beds, and in bathroom not working - breaker not thrown but needed ‘jiggling’.

This stay would have been a 5 star, but the elevator was out for my entire visit. I was on the 4th floor and carrying up luggage and taking that trip up and down every day or when I needed to quickly leave, was not convenient. Other than that, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was great.

The hotel has not had a working elevator since Feb with no estimated repair date. When customers arrived that is when they had the option to cancel the reservation. Spring break, all hotels wete practically sold out.

We stayed there for a week on the 4th floor with no working elevator. Buffet for breakfast was pretty good. Staff were nice. Other problem was that the room temperature was either too hot or too cold.

The kitchen was perfectly stocked, the rooms were huge, the AC worked wonderfully, the gym was clean, the hotel itself is always clean, and the location was safe and didn't have a lot of traffic. I really want to emphasize the staff, the front desk staff are incredibly welcoming and really take into account any issues the guest may have (especially night staff, they were my favorite). Eden, my family appreciates you. The general manager of this hotel is quick to accommodate and reply to any issues. The food that was cooked there was bland and I have avoided it. Even people without a huge budget can make a simple meal good. It's time to start investing in a real chef especially for social hour. Ask the interview candidate to cook you something with the ingredients that you have on site and see what they do with it. The amenities like the laundry room were outdated and did not function properly. The washers do not drain, the dryers took twice as many times to dry, and they burned holes in our clothes. Our sink leaked and the shower hot water took forever to get hot. The owner needs to really look into these issues because they're going to end up costing them money more than if they just update their facilities. It's not fair to have these guests get mad or upset with staff over the owners issues. Booking.com took almost 3 weeks to issue my refund, next time I'm in San Antonio; paying the hotel directly there's not a huge monetary gap anyways.

Our phone in our room wasn’t working the entire stay… the elevators were all broken was put in the 4th floor but not a discount or anything for us having to walk up and down stairs the entire stay!

I was on the 3rd floor & the elevator was out of order. I am 80 years old, with bad knees & a lot of luggage. No one was working on it & it had been broken for some time. Except for this, I would have rated this hotel in the 9's.

Here’s a clean, conversational version that feels warm and welcoming for families or solo travelers, without sounding salesy. My stay at Staybridge Suites Schertz by IHG was a great experience from start to finish. The room felt like a small apartment. A full stove, fridge, microwave, utensils, pots, pans, plates, and forks were ready to use. Iron and ironing board were in the room. A safe was available for personal items. Everything you need, whether you stay one night or a full week. The gym was solid and well kept. I skipped the pool only because the weather was cold, but the area looked clean and inviting. Breakfast stood out. Omelets, bacon, potatoes, fresh fruit, and waffles. Plenty of options and everything tasted fresh. This spot works well for families who want space and comfort, and for solo travelers who want an easy, stress free stay. I plan to return.

The small kitchen, shampoo/bodywash/handsoap/body lotion, and complimentary breakfast were convenient. I don’t think I will stay at any hotel but this place. The kitchenn was stocked with dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and a coffee pot. It even had a dishwasher. The room and area were very quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was stocked with plenty of towels and was quite large. I'd definitely stay there again!

I'm only giving this site a 3 star rating. The sofa bed in 203 was stain with pee and blood. Upon arrival the hotel wasn't even ready but they did check us into another room. I did tell the front desk about the issue so hopefully they will change it. Food was fantastic. Definitely needs a little updating.

Loved it! Best hotel I’ve stayed in so far. Recommended to anyone going to San Antonio area. It is in the center of everything.

The hotel is very nice, but you advertise a jacuzzi, the jacuzzi needs to be operational. Room 419 does not have a shower curtain and should. And the fan is freezing up, probably wore out. That could be a fire hazard. Other than that, the property is clean and well-lit parking lot.

Lovely people at the front desk, so friendly & helpful! An amazing happy hour with great food & wine. I got upgraded for free to a large suite! What I didn't like: Noisy rooms where other people's TVs kept me awake. Odd tall beds that were both crinkly and too squishy.

Also the beds were very comfortable I literally slept like I was in my own bed. The breakfast was okay not a variety of food choices however the choice of coffee was good. I will definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again!

I really wish I got the name of the lady working at the front desk the night of July 1st. She was very welcoming, kind, and helpful. Room 434 was super clean. Highly recommend. No complaints at all.

This property is clean and nice. They have a variety of breakfast options. I would definitely recommend to others.

We were there for my son's wedding this past weekend. Overall, the stay was okay with a couple of issues. First, the thermostat was weird. If it was on Cool but raised to 72 or above it would turn to heat! So we kept it at 68 or 69 and wife froze in the evenings. Second, we were on the 3rd floor, and the people upstairs stomped or walked really heavily Sunday night. I called the front desk a couple of times and it was finally remedied. For the usual price doubling for the holiday, though I got a discount from accumulated hotels.com to help.

What a nice clean, quite, and comfortable hotel. The front desk staff were amazing, the rooms were great. Went for our anniversary dinner and stay will definitely go back. Thank you so much for the comfortable bed and pillows most places forget atleast in my mind this is the most important part of the stay comfortable sleeping..

Since we were only there 2 nights and to move would have been an inconvenience, I fought through it for the 1 extra day. Management only reduced rate by $20 for 1 night which was inconsequential.

The Stay Bridge hotel is a modern hotel with excelent aminities; however, resturants are a bit of a walk away and car would be required. Public transportation is none existant in this area. EV drivers should call ahead to determine if the chargers are working as during my visit they were not available and had been removed. Not sure if this is permanennt or temperary situation. Food delivery is available and is prompt and fairly quick depending on resturant. Only draw back is that its near some industrial activity and large trucks may awaken you in the night and early morning.

The elevator were out of order the entire time we were there. Had to lug our luggage up 4 flights of stairs. Front desk was unapologetic about it . They had been out of order for 3 days before we arrived ! We should have been compensated for the inconvenience. Very disappointing.

I didnt like the Cleanliness of both of my rooms both had bugs in my sheets and a severe roach issue. Tried to reason with the managers/staff who i believe would try to make it right but didn't even acknowledge what i was saying. That is very upsetting to me .
