Historic Inn was beautiful, Patty Homer & staff were engaging and helpful. The location of Inn was within walking distance to many sights and quality restaurants. I never had to utilize my vehicle during my stay. Not the fault of the Inn, but our stay was in the cottage, on the send floor(Stairs only). We had our dog(Corgi) with us, since they are prone to back/spine issues, I had to carry Lucia up & down stairs often. If going with a dog, some might prefer main building when making reservation.

Lovely Inn in the historic area of Savannah. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Breakfast was very good. Especially nice was the evening wine and snacks. All the guests gathered in the living room and shared what they had done for the day, where they'd had good meals and tour tips. Soft drinks, tea, coffee and water were available all the time. The room was large and comfortable. I highly recommend the place. Can't think of anything

Everything! The ambiance, the decor, the attention to detail, the staff and food were all amazing. The staff were all very personable and caring. I loved the fluffy toilet paper and tissues. The piped music into the bedroom was a lovely touch. The Inn is perfectly located as everything is within walking distance. This stay was a memorable one for us and we will definitely be back. The room was spacious, high ceilings. Bathroom was updated and nice. Bed mattress was comfy. They do have onsite parking so that was a plus. Punch code to get into your room so no worrying about losing your room key. Breakfast was decent. No choice, just what they feel like serving you. The only issue we had was the bed sheets. They were pilled really bad that I couldn’t sleep on them. For the price we paid for this room, they can afford a higher thread count or put microfiber sheets on. I found it unacceptable and honestly a little revolting when you go to get in bed and the sheets are worn, bumpy and rough.

The decor was historic in feeling, yet still modern in the amenities. Nice attention to detail in the inn- super clean & welcoming. Easy access to everything in the historic area, but not on top of all the tourists. It is located on a main Street. Just be aware of that. They did have sound machines in the rooms.

The breakfast was excellent, a really wonderful chef who was very friendly. The rooms were cut with very comfy beds and nice showers. The living rooms of the house (where we ate breakfast) were very pretty and nice to spend time in during our off hours of walking around town. Strongly recommend! *very* minor point that I would have liked the coffee to be out for longer hours, but not a big deal at all, plenty of coffee and tea available!

One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed and located perfectly in the center of Old Savannah. Hosts Patty and Sherry make this lovely house a home with their warm hospitality. Breakfasts were fantastic—varied, delicious, prepared and served with love. Only the occasional street sounds at night that are part of being in the city center. No getting around that.

Everything was great! The home is beautiful and in a great location to walk to things. The owner and her staff are very nice and hands on. The only minor complaint is the sunlight streaming through the wood bedroom blinds. Darkening drapes would be better for a bedroom. It didn’t make the home less enjoyable but sleeping in was tough.

I absolutely loved this place! My boyfriend and I took one room and my Mom took the one next to us. The rooms were beautiful, and the beds were very comfortable. There's an intercom you can turn on to play ambient music; it was on when we walked in and it just made the arrival so relaxing. The young woman who checked us in was probably the sweetest person I have ever met in my life with the most relaxing voice. The inn smelled amazing, because they had just finished baking cookies. What a magical place is this! I felt like I was in a Hallmark movie! We had a lovely talk with the owner a bit about the history of the inn and how she became involved; it was such a lovely chat. I felt like a welcomed guest in her beautiful home. The breakfasts were delicious too! If I HAD to complain about something it would be that you can hear everyone's footsteps and movements, especially at night. But what do you expect? It's an old house! The rooms even had a sound machine, so just turn that on and you'll have no problem sleeping through the guests clonking their heels above you. Truly, it was a wonderful experience and I was sad to leave. I will be back!

We arrived late, and were given a code to get in. That worked. But we were up two flights of stairs, and had to bring our luggage up ourselves. They did not tell us about the elevator. We discovered it the next day which helped. Unfortunately, it was not available After 7 PM. Also, the room did not have air conditioning. Fortunately, the weather was OK. Bathroom was very small with a tiny corner shower although the ad said it was a walk-in shower.

This is an absolutely gorgeous property! Great location, easy walking to all the major sites and dining. Patty and Suzy are the nicest hosts, and the breakfast is delicious. There is a wine and cheese happy hour everyday at 5pm, and a fun way to socialize with other guests. Highly recommend!

The entire B&B was top notch. The hosts (sisters) were terrific, as was the breakfast & wine hour. The traffic noise on W. Liberty St was a bit loud very early in the morning so of you are a light sleeper, I would recommend the back rooms more than the one on Liberty St.

We had a fabulous stay at the Inn for 3 nights. The innkeepers were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were delicious and the wine “happy hour” each evening was very pleasant. The Inn is also well located and there are several great restaurants within a short walk. The only thing really needed is more free parking. We will definitely go back and we highly recommend you visit the Inn.

This is all dominated though by the unbearable noise of the airconditioning unit, which is directly bolted to the roof of the Lafayette room, making the walls and bed vibrate. After this the hosts were not so friendly anymore when we were disatisfied and they were inconsistent in the solutions offered, i.e. their own solutions were taken of the table. The solutions offered were not to satisfaction and we have not agreed. The bathtub is clogged and so was the drain od the sink, and other defect in the room related to overdue maintenance. Which adds further to the disapointment. When counting on an early breakfast - it is only served starting from 8:30. All in all it is the worst overnight experience we have ever had and we have been very surprised about the unwillingness to give any compensation for the bad experience. We were very surprised by all the good reviews...I hope this is a warning for other potential guest (pick something else).

Absolutely first rate! The proprietors, Patty and Suzy, pay attention to detail and worked hard to make our stay memorable. Suzy made a lovely breakfast and Patty took care of getting tickets for us on the “hop on, hop off” narrated tour of the city, which was worth it as this was our first of hopefully many visits to Savannah.

The house and the folks who run it were beautiful. We were in the carriage house room which was nice but had some issues. Bathtub took forever to fill up, air conditioning unit was very loud at night. Apparently it was right in the bedroom? Not certain. The carriage house is an add on so you don’t really get the charm of staying in an older house. Fresh towels would have been nice. The location is decent but folks who aren’t too excited about walking might want to find a place a little closer to the shopping and river. It sits on a pretty busy street, lots of motorcycles and cars with no mufflers. The room and house were very clean and the staff was very accommodating. Sometimes we couldn’t find them. It was a neat experience but more of an Air BnB than a hotel experience.

The only thing I’d bear in mind is it’s an old building that does creak and transfer noise, so if you’re a light sleeper beware. In general, all the guests seemed courteous and aware of that but there were a couple instances of people coming in late and you can hear the stairs and voices etc. pretty loudly. Surprisingly, there doesn’t seem to be much noise between rooms/bathrooms though- so that’s a plus. Overall it’s a very comfortable, lovely place to stay in the perfect location!

From the moment we arrived we knew we had found the perfect bed and breakfast for our first trip to Savannah. the Inn is gorgeous in every respect - the commons areas, the sitting rooms and the bedroom we stayed in. The place looks like it was restored to its original grandeur (with just a touch of modern amenities such as lighting). We enjoyed a happy hour with other guests each late afternoon and a wonderful breakfast. Our hostesses were as good as they come and everything we wanted to see was within walking distance!

Patty and Suzy are perfect hosts and were always there to share there knowledge of Savannah and offer several options for any requests. The breakfast is amazing. The plating and taste are worthy of any cooking show. The location is outstanding. It is only one block off of Bull Street which divides the Historic District and shopping, squares and eating are all within walking distance. We look forward to our next stay at the Inn.
