    The rooms were incredible...and the beds were above superior.I fell asleep quickly and woke rested.Breakfast was a horrible experience.The hostess/ server.. directed us to a table ( barely seen again until she brought the check) Then the" made to order" omelet that was not a omelet at all but more like a hard fried egg with ingredients added...I did kindly ask the lady behind the counter if she could make me another...greatly offended she question what was wrong with it.When I tried to explain( hard and dry)... she rather than j started asking me " well which is it"...At that point I simply went back to my table...then she asked across the room... to the my friend..."was something wrong with your omelet). I asked her what that had to do with mine. At that point I was done...I just got scrambled eggs... 15 minutes later the lady making the omelet yelled across the room if I wanted her to remake the omelet I had until 10.The breakfast was a prepaid breakfast for 2 .I spoke with the manager on duty .He was kind...and I even left a tip...but in all honesty while I would stay here again.I would NOT prepay breakfast .

    Bedroom was great -- big, comfortable bed; nice shower; blackout curtains; and modern furniture. The living room part of the suite was a bit basic and sparse, we didn't actually spend any time in there. Best part was the free shuttle that takes you into town. Visible wear and tear

    The hotel was very clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel right at home. We appreciated the complimentary wine from Tania, which was a nice touch, and the shuttle service was convenient and made getting around Savannah easy and stress-free. The location was excellent and close to everything we wanted to see and do, making it a perfect base for exploring the city. As first-time visitors to Savannah, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The customer service and cleanliness were outstanding! Every employee we encountered was kind, friendly, and professional, and it is clear they take pride in providing an exceptional guest experience. A special thank you to Tania at check-in, Ebony, and Megan at the front desk for always being welcoming and helpful. Thank you to Bea, who was always friendly when we got off the elevator sitting in the dining area who always took the time to speak with us. We also appreciated Will and Niam for the excellent shuttle service and enjoyable conversations. A thank you as well to Berta, who kept our room spotless daily and always greeted us with a smile and conversation whenever we came out of our room. We honestly did not have any complaints during our stay and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you~

    This is my second stay at The Bluff. I was pleasantly surprised and overjoyed to see some of the staff from my first visit. My stay was as pleasant the second time around. Very nice and clean venue. Lovely and friendly staff. Good breakfast with attentive and accommodating staff. Location not far from the hub of the Historic District. No complaints.

    Room was very Clean and updated. the kitchenette even had a dishwasher. Facilities overall were well kept and clean. They offered a free shuttle to the 4 key vaster areas in town. They also had bikes on property that you can rent. Parking fee of $25.00 per night. (to self-park in their lot) Breakfast cost an additional $18.00 per person

    I enjoyed the clean room and easy check in process. I also enjoyed the bar area as the bartender was very friendly. The breakfast buffet was ok but not really worth the price of $18. Very close location to River Street and they have a shuttle that will take you there also. Will definitely stay again!

    Good location, spacious rooms for the price, free shuttle to historic downtown. Found urine (!) in the coffee maker’s water tank and the front desk sent head of maintenance (who was great and visibly apologetic for what happened) to our room to replace the machine. However during check-out, the same manager who took our initial complaint tried to gaslight us by denying what happened and calling our report „ridiculous”, even though the only actual witness (head of maintenance) never disputed it. Zero apology, zero accountability and immediate assumption that her customers - a married couple expecting a child - are some kind of comp-hunting grifters. Ebony is by far the worst and least professional customer service representative I’ve ever encountered during my 10 years in the States.

    The beds were comfortable, but the AC couldn’t be regulated and really needs to run through the morning. The elevator was also very slow to open on our floor and triggering, as you think you might be stuck.     Location, staff was nice good customer service General Manager was in my opinion very poorly trained in customer service I had just finished driving 12 hours from Florida with my wife. Checked in went to dinner came back showed it was 8 pm we were exhausted went to bed when I noticed water stained and peeling ceiling texture over my head and around area . Being a State licensed Mold Contractor I was annoyed that the Room was not restored properly to have been occupied the refrigerator was also not functioning and full of water. It was to late for us to move at that point we are in our 70s . So in the morning, I went down to speak to the front desk very politely and ask for the manager. The lady at the front desk told me his name gave me a scar and said he will be in later and I will have him call you. I left her my card showing in my license number and show on of what I did for a living. I did not raise my voice. I was very polite and saying that it bothered me very much that when I laid down to look up, this is what I saw and I in the hotel I did not receive a call that day or the next day so I sent the email to the general manager. His response to me was very generic. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. We will take care of this problem. I’m sorry at that point there I was angered that he said to me this is the first I heard of it and that the front desk lady either didn’t tell him or did tell him and he ignored it and then when I pursued it with him that I thought that that wasn’t a proper response his answer to me while I’m don’t understand, what do you want me to do? What was the problem sleeping with some brown spots on the ceiling? This was more than brown spots on the ceiling and even if that was that is not a way for a Hill general manager to respond.

    Sorry to tell everyone that this is probably one of the worst choices to stay in this quadrant of Savannah. The Hotel being a refurbished brand from a prior Hotel should not be the difference maker. However, the "Tapestry" collection in this case falls far short in many areas, particularly in how they are promoting their amenities: the "Shuttle" service was just a Golf Cart which goes about 1/4 mile to the River front, then a zag over about a 1/3 of a mile to the City Market and then returns from there--the Hours were a disappointment as well running from 7:00 - 10:00 pm. Then there were the "Bikes" -- all 3 of them, which were undermaintained (poor air pressure / low tread tires, and no ability to inflate them). They were single-speed models with a gruesome struggle to initiate any momentum. Pretty worthless imho. Lastly, the remnants of the Hotels' prior life are all around: Popcorn ceilings, dated wall fixtures and worse of all, a single Elevator car that was way outdated and took forever between calling the car, arriving and returning. Charging a premium "Savannah-style price" point for all of this did not help their cause at all, imho.

    Room was okay, small. Dusty and some garbage left behind. There are no amenities at all, this is a bare bones hotel masquerading as a boutique hotel. The neighborhood is sketchy. Front desk was not helpful finding restaurants. Clientele was mixed. Walls were thin and we got no sleep the last night as our neighbor was up all night. There were people running up and down the halls. Do not recommend.

    The room was BEAUTIFUL & SPACIOUS! I loved that it had a couch and it's own small seating area. The shower gets really hot and the pressure was great. The one thing I will say is if you prefer a very cold room the AC does work but it doesn't get super cold. The hotel was very clean and pretty overall. The bar is really nice and the bar bites were pretty good as well. I had breakfast one of the mornings I stayed and I definitely do not think it is worth the money however, everything else with our stay was so great I would definitely stay here again!!

    This is a very nicely remodeled hotel near the Riverfront area. They have bikes to rent for free and a shuttle that you can take to and from the Riverfront area. The bar inside the hotel is very nice with some well thoughtout cocktail choices. We would stay here again if we are ever back in Savannah.

    The “cocktail lounge” opens at 4 p.m., but only if the bartender shows up on time, which was inconsistent. There is no actual restaurant; instead, they offer delivery for an extra fee. Breakfast is overpriced and no better than a standard free hotel breakfast, though the attendants were excellent. The shuttle service is extremely limited, running only from 2–10 p.m. if the driver is available, and only to a few locations within about a mile. The driver also serves as maintenance, so shuttle service clearly isn’t a priority. Customer service was disappointing. Most requests were met with “we don’t do that” or “there’s nothing we can do,” with little effort to assist or offer solutions. Attempts to contact the hotel prior to arrival went unanswered, and requests made during booking were not in their system. Staff blamed a possible system outage with no follow-up. While the property itself is nice and the rooms are comfortable, the lack of accurate information and poor service make it hard to recommend.

    It is in the historic district, so it is in a convenient location for many of the historic sites and restaurants. They have spacious rooms/ suites and a nice breakfast buffet. There are plenty of comfortable seats in the lounge area by the bar - a good place to set up your laptop if you need to do work since there isn’t a business center. The staff were very helpful and friendly, too.

    ​I have fresh welts across my body. When I reported this, staff (Ebony) tried to claim they were just "old scars." This is incredibly insulting—I know my own body, and these appeared overnight. ​My travel companion is a former professional exterminator and confirmed the signs in the room point to bed bugs. Management completely ignored this expert opinion. ​A man and a woman came to "inspect" the bed but never identified themselves or their titles. I was later told "Josh" (the manager) looked at the room, but he never actually spoke to me or showed me a professional inspection report. They refused to move us to a different room or provide any viable solution. They were rude and dismissive of a serious health concern that could lead to me bringing an infestation back to my home. This hotel has a major hygiene problem and even worse customer service. They do not care about guest safety and will gaslight you rather than help. Save yourself the bites and the stress—stay somewhere else.

I am not sayin I don't appreciate having a coffee maker in the room, but I am sure there are plenty of C/M's that can do a better job with a tastier product. Only other downside to the hotel was lack of ammenities (i.e. a gym and pool) if that is important when looking for a place to stay.

    Best stay ever. Room was quiet until people with small child checked in on last night. Child ran up and down hall until after 10 pm. Heating was silent. Shuttle was wonderful, Naim very personable. Bed was comfy. Hope to stay again.

    The Bluff was clean and staff helpful and friendly. Rooms were fine and we didn't hear any outside noise. The updated and clean bathroom and walk-in shower was nice. The hotel is located on the outskirts of the downtown on a very busy 4-lane roadway. The sidewalk on Bay Street closest to the hotel disappears after two blocks so one is forced to cross the busy roadway to make it to the downtown and historic areas. Exploring the river area is a little easier, but the closest side streets peter out into a sketchy industrial area. They do have a small shuttle car for sightseers to make up for the difficult location. Only one elevator for the hotel meant a lot of crowding during check-in check-out times. Breakfast is not included - $16 per person for basic continental was fairly steep but staff were happy to accommodate a to-go box. There is a nearby coffee shop and plenty of restaurants within a 10-minute walk. Overall, the hotel is a good value for money but plan on adding 10-15 minutes of walking time to your sightseeing itinerary.

    I booked this hotel because it was listed as Historic District. The first thing I was told is that they had a suttle to the Historic District. The hotel is older, and on a busy road, plus there is a vacant building accross the street. wouldn't go there again.

    Very nice hotel convenient to River Street and attractions. What made the trip so enjoyable was the friendly and attentive staff. From things to do to places to eat, they were incredibly helpful. They were also very friendly and helpful when I called back to inquire about an extra charge to my credit card. I was charged for two breakfast meals when we had not eaten there either day of our stay. The staff member quickly reimbursed my credit card for the charge. Since the hotel is not really within walking distance to the main historical area, I believe the $25 per night parking charge is rather high.

    The beds literally sink 8-12 inches when you sit on them. The staff is nasty in the way they talk to guests and act. They have no hospitality genes to save their lives. Also they don’t charge all your charges up front either. So get ready for calls a day or two after for more and more money because when you checked out they didn’t full check you out of the system. This place is a hot mess.

    It’s a beautiful, historic building with spacious rooms & comfortable beds. I gave 4 stars bc we had to wait a long time to check in. There was only one person at the desk and she prioritized phone calls over the people waiting at the desk. Also, our hand soap was empty-something that should be checked by daily housekeeping. It’s on the edge of the historic district so a bit of a walk to get to restaurants. Very quiet though by being off of the main strip. Large surface lot-easy parking. $25 seems like a lot for the unsecured parking. Overall, I would stay here again.

    Cleaning should be improved. I called to ask for a blanket and they said they run out. After I finish the check in process and walked to the room number they assigned when I opened the door there was people inside the room and they didn’t have an explanation for that.

    The room was dirty, specially the bathroom. The shower doors didn’t work properly, it was very difficult keeping them closed when showering. The AC thermostat is garbage, there was not independent control for the fan, and the temperature keep chang from cooling to heating. Also there was one particular member of the staff on the reception area that was very rude for no reason.

    This property is beautiful and clean. I would have given it a 5 star if the shuttle didn't break down. My daughter and I took the shuttle and got dropped near River Street. I called to be pick up, they saud it will be a few minutes because people were in front of us. 39 minutes passed, i called back and was informed that the shuttle had broken down and they were trying to fix the problem! I had my 12 year old so after waiting about 30 more minutes I decided to uber! Spent over $20 for us to go 7 minutes back to hotel. The following day the shuttle still wasn't working! One of the reasons I booked this property because of the shuttle!! I was very disappointed and ended up spending more money getting around!
