Staff and breakfast We had 3 seprate rooms .... one room had significant mold that was reported to front desk.... one had heavy urine smell in toilet area that finally diminished after 3 cleaning... one seemed to be fine.

The staff was very efficient and friendly. The breakfast was very good. The location was good, convenient to all of downtown Savannah. It is an older property. Shows some wear.

Whoever checked us in was extremely friendly and helpful! :)

Our only gripe was how cold the room and hallways were. We actually had to turn on the heat (it was 68 degrees in the room- we are acclimated to 74) as the A/C didn’t allow a temperature over 70.

Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, gave us an upgrade and late check out but also just so kind. It was so refreshing. The room was cute and the location was decent walking distance to most things vs the more expensive locations right along the river. Breakfast was above average, and the courtyard with the pool were cute. Not a whole lot around compared to the middle of the city but still good (coffee shop, visitor center, SCAD musuem of art were all near by and everything is walkable)

We had a great stay. The staff were wonderful. We were in the H cottage and it was lovely. Only complaint is the smoking area was outside of our room so I would request a cottage closer to the front next time so as not to walk through a cloud of Marlboro when we exited the room. We could not smell it inside the room, only when we were leaving the room. Rooms were cozy and clean. Housekeeping was superb. Breakfast was great also. 10:10 would stay there again.

Property is a little old. But besides not having a remote, that the staff replaced that evening when we returned, everything was very good. Nice to have a a good ‘free’ breakfast. Convenient to uber to Grayson stadium.

I like the room we had which was a suite with a separate bedroom. It was perfect for our weekend trip.

Nice hotel, some minor maintenance issues were noticeable. The pool was nice (outside). Breakfast was awesome. The parking to check in was stressful and the valet was expensive. Paid for valet which parked car in a lot across the street but unable to get car yourself which was a dislike for us as we had kids and stuff to load/unload and would like to have done at our own pace. The area is very busy.

We used a nearby parking garage. Breakfast was always great. All the staff was friendly and helpful. Room was very nice, roomy with great amenities. Only negative was some of the room furniture was a little older…..but functionality was perfectly fine.

The staff were excellent and the room was very spacious! It contained everything I needed, even though it looks a bit old and tired. The bed was very comfortable The rooms are a little tired and the maintenance happening seemed to be happening right outside my room! There was drilling and hammering right outside my window. The doors slamming very early when they were doing maintenance on the room opposite. It would be nice to have a full length mirror in the room as there’s plenty of space for it

We had a great one night stay at this hotel. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, as well as the valet attendants. The room was clean and spacious. We will stay here again when we return to Savannah.

They served scrambled eggs, sausages, egg bites, waffles with blueberry compote or syrup, bagels, muffins, cereal, yogurt, bananas, orange juice and regular and decaffeinated coffee. The staff was wonderful, very professional and friendly. Our valet, Dennis and also Cassandra and Tanisha, the hostesses at the check-in desk, went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied with everything. The patio and swimming pool were so accommodating with many tables, chairs and lounge chairs around the pool. They also had a gas fire pit for cooler evenings. The valets were so friendly!

Great location. Close to Enmarket arena and the interstate, but still quiet. Fully equipped kitchen in room was great. Clean and updated.

We were a little disappointed that the parking situation was not clearly outlined. We were able to find street parking.

The room is in need of an upgrade. I didn't like paying $30/day to park my car on the street for handicap parking. It was literally a public road in front of the hotel. The street parking should've been free not vallet.

First day "fair" 2nd day no good at all, only thing that was warm was coffee, no eggs, no bacon, only cereal and a little fruit. We had to stop and eat when we left. If you advertise breakfast then you need to provide one. Staff was polite and helpful, location good, everything very clean. Overall, I would recommend except for parking. No where on the confirmation papers was the parking fee, I have travels in many countries and never paid for parking. Asked the attendant where could I park and not pay and she said on the street, 2 days before I left on national news was that Savannah had a homeless problem and a lot of crime. No way would I leave my car on the street. Was charged $70 for parking, the right thing to do is to refund me the money for parking and for breakfast.

Location was excellent. Within walking distance to all squares and historical areas. If needed, Trolley service is only about a block away and you can hop on and off at about 15 stops. Having a kitchen was helpful for restaurant leftovers and keeping cold water at the ready. We had a cottage upstairs room, was very quiet which is a must for us. Bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Very friendly staff, we always felt welcomed. The only downside is that the room was a little tired. Our refrigerator had big dents all over the front of it and the area around the outside entry to our exterior door was really dirty and not maintained well. Gave the feeling of the room being a little dirty on entry, but was really just due to age and overuse in kitchen and bath areas. Natural light nearly non-existant from very small windows and lighting needed to be a bit brighter

The valet gentlemen were efficient. The area around the hotel was not desirable. Felt like you had to pay to park out of safety. Having to pay extra for parking was not appealing and will be why will not return to that hotel.

Room service came so late. The room service only came to our room around 5 pm when we reached our room after a day in the city. And as we reached, she just quickly wrapped up making the bed and left. She didn’t care about the rest of the stuff. The floor, the bathroom, the counters, nothing was cleaned.

All the staff were the kindest and most helpful. The breakfast was amazing. The room and entire property was clean and extremely nice. The entire experience here exceeded expectations and was absolutely delightful.

I was able to check in 2 hours early; clean room with full kitchen; inviting lobby; breakfast was great every day; hotel was located close to bars and restaurants that I targeted; parking was limited, but I was able to find non-valet parking within a few minutes walk to the hotel. I'll stay here again.

The flat sausage patties were horrible, literally tasted like crumbled meat it just wasn't good. The eggs were ok, probably powdered eggs but I didn't confirm this. I loved the cheese omelet tho and salsa options.

Front desk staff was top notch and so friendly. I love how clean and quiet the hotel is and the breakfast is good. The rooms are spacious and it's nice to have a kitchenette so we can keep a few things in the fridge and make a cup of tea. The bed is comfortable and the pillows were nice. We had an issue with the fire alarm going off twice when we first got there, but it was handled quickly. The AC unit was a little loud but worked great and didn't interrupt our sleep. It was easy to park my car near the property without having to valet and I didn't feel forced to valet.

The wood veneers on the furniture are heavily scratched chipped and bubbling from moisture, the main door must be pulled firmly in order to close and latch, the granite counters were cracked completely through in multiple places, the microwave touch panel was shorted out rendering it useless etc. The room was clean and the staff was doing a great job of making the best of the situation.

Great place, very close to all the activities downtown. The continental breakfast (which is included) is one of the best I have seen in the US hotels. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are nice and spacious. The kitchenette has everything you need to cook with. Will be back for sure!

The room was clean, it was just strangely laid out, and only had one small bathroom trashcan. The water smelled and tasted of sulfur, so after night one we didn’t drink or shower. It was nice we could leave our luggage at the front while we waited on our room to be ready and the day we checked out before leaving for the airport.

The southern hospitality was through the roof the staff went beyond to be helpful and nice I would definitely stay again….. now the parking does need help it’s a gamble whether you’re going to find a spot you’re definitely better off parking and walking to where you want to go.

The staff at this hotel were amazing! Cassandra checked us in. She was friendly and very helpful with a last minute request. The valet staff was very accommodating too! The room was clean and spacious! The breakfast team did a great job, everything was tasty. Great stay and will definitely stay again.

The parking is a little tough but we were able to find easy parking on the street.

I asked to be change to a ground floor unit and was denied. I was given a unit with extremely steep steps witch I could not climb so we cut our stay short and went to a different hotel. Second There was no Wi-Fi available due to poor signal. I spoke to the staff 4 different people and different times and they could care less. Third Is that I will be disputing the the charges Expedia quoted me $308 for 2 nights and I have been charged $500 for 1 night

We have stayed at this hotel for years because the staff are wonderful, they are pet friendly, the price is great, they offer a free full breakfast and it is in walking distance to the historic/tourist sites.

Was there 4 nights 5 days, they did not come to clean our room once.

Just got home and had a great stay. We were told about the street parking right beside the hotel and it was free so that was nice. Area felt safe and we walked most places, even at night. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The public areas of the property looked amazing. The entire staff was amazing and very friendly. However, our room was run down with a badly damaged dishwasher that I doubt worked. Kitchen cabinets were beat up and all the counter tops in the room were cracked as well as a broken globe on one of the light fixtures. If not for the staff, I would have checked out.

The only real issue was the TV remote which didn't work properly. This seems to be a common issue at the various hotels where we stayed.

The bathroom did not seem like it was clean. There were fingernail clippings on the floor and the tub didn’t look like it’s been scrubbed in months.

The property was nice and the staff were friendly plus accessible. The one time I went for breakfast and it wasn’t anything to eat besides making a waffle. Overall it was a good stay.

This room was below zero degrees when we checked in. After calling the front desk a couple of times and waiting for help, we kept punching buttons on the thermostat to get the AC to cut off. Water was all over the kitchen and bathroom floor. I think it was condensation because the room was so cold. I used a towel to dry the bath floor and noticed a lot of brown caucasian hair all around the toilet. Clearly NOT my hair that is in braids. Between the refrigerator and the wall were several pieces of green glass that looked like a broken bottle. Even when I called housekeeping to bring towels and mop, they came and cleaned up the water, not the hair, glass, or filth. I have pictures of the tub with brown stains that had not been cleaned. The carpet is nasty and has never been cleaned it appeared. We will NEVER stay here again.

Pet fee of $100 is too high. $50 would be more reasonable. Limited parking and only available on the street unless you pay for $35 valet. Again, too high for parking. Otherwise nice room, clean, friendly staff.

I have been to several hotels in SAVANNAH and this is in my top 2. I would give is 9 out 10 my only issue was the flow of room . The staff is a 10 out 10. Everyone was nice and friendly. If you need to know parking was issue and cost.was 35 dollars. I knew this upfront. Unless you read policies you may not know rhis before you arrive.

At first we were a little hesitant about the location. But it turned out to be fine. We were able to walk to Forsyth Park. The suite was nice, the bed was super comfortable. The outside area with pool and courtyard was very nice and relaxing. Our first night we went in the pool and had a blast. The second someone had an accident in the pool, so it was closed and they drained and cleaned it. Breakfast was good. The first morning there was only one girl restocking and it was a Sunday so very busy and had to wait for more food to be brought out. But the second morning was smoother. Valet was convenient and my car was safe in a gated lot. Overall had a pleasant stay!

Great stay , literally 2 min walk from the children’s museum and the rail road museum, also in close proximity to all tourist spots, the staff was nice , breakfast was okok not that great, but if you plan to go around 4th of july the 3rd , 4tg floor rooms 304, 306 have great view from the room of fireworks

Our family of three loved our stay. It's located just on the edge of the historic district and within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and do. Likewise, many great restaurants are close. The King bed was super comfortable and there was plenty of room for the pull out couch. The pool area was also very nice. Everything was designed for comfort. Staff were superb and meet our every need with a smile. I will stay here for every visit to Savannah!

There is no parking for guest except valet at 35 dollars a night. Street parking around the area doesn’t make a woman feel safe. To walk late to hotel!!!!!!

The hotel was very nice but the staff was amazing. Friendly and helpful and treated us like family.

The room had some issues as well. The shower was clogged to the point where there were several inches of standing water. When I asked for help with the shower, the staff were less than friendly and at first gave a quote to repair the shower that meant it would not work properly during our entire stay. Luckily, they did fix it by midday. The bathroom plumbing made loud, strange noises that woke me up during the night. The morning team seemed short-staffed as when calling for valet, there was no answer and it took longer than normal to get assistance, about 15 minutes. Positives - the evening valet person was incredibly friendly and responsive and check-out process was quick.

While the front desk and kitchen staff were very nice and hard working, they appeared to be understaffed. The housekeeping staff was supposed to clean the room every other day, but they didn't show up once in 5 days and we had to beg the front desk for towels. Otherwise, the location was great and the hotel was nice. And we had a great visit.

The hotel was very clean and beautiful! I was greeted by the beautiful receptionist, Janelle, with a very bright and vibrant smile and personality. She was very professional, informative and helpful and made our check-in very easy. Vanti, the valet parking attendant was very polite and helpful as well. He even informed me of nearby restaurants we might enjoy. I can't remember all of the staff names, but everone was very professional and polite. The beds were very comfortable and clean and all the areas in the room too. The outside space by the pool area was very clean and quiet. We were able to enjoy sitting and relaxing in a safe space. We really enjoyed our short stay and will definitely recommend others to book.

I asked Laura why there was no one on site to help, and she was very rude to us. Told us she can refund us our money and we can go look for another hotel . I asked her where would we get another hotel at that hour? She said oh well there was nothing she could do, because she didn't have any rooms available. I was really shocked that an employee would treat a guest so badly! This was not a $100 dollar night hotel. She definitely should not be working in guest services!!! I did complain to the nice lady at front desk the next day, and she was very apologetic. She was shocked that we were treated that way!

The area outside the hotel is disturbed by vagabonds in front to the gas station trying to approach every time you walk in and out the hotel

Very nice hotel and very convenient to everything in Savannah. The highlight was the general manager, Jawana. We needed some assistance a few times during our stay and no matter what it was she did it with a smile and didn't stop until our small issues were resolved (none were hotel, we had a clogged toilet from small children and also locked ourselves out of the room once).

Parking outside was not the best situation but the accommodations were good. Had a very pleasant experience around Savannah.

The good news is that the breakfast was outstanding, but we learned that one of the kitchen staff had quit and all the prep was left to one woman.

Overall, the property was beautiful and many of the staff were very friendly. However, the shower/tub in our room needed a thorough scrubbing and had missing caulk. Overall, the carpeted floors look like they could use a good cleaning throughout.

We had an excellent stay. We were able to park our car and walk to pretty much everywhere! The property is very quiet. Our room's A/C was a bit loud whenever it went on and off, but honestly really not a big deal at all. The valets and hotel staff were extremely friendly and the breakfast was really good. We ate there two of three mornings. And it was great! Thank you!

I found the rooms to be very accommodating, spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were not my favorite. The breakfasts were filling and displayed a variety of choices.
