There were two nonfunctioning lights. One where the clothes were hanging & the other in the bathtub & commode area. The refrigerator did keep my pop very cold do that was a bonus & it had a little freezer. The conditions were worn, but the location met my needs. I stayed for a few nights & the room was actually serviced. ( some times on multiple night stays a motel will not come in, so this was a pleasant surprise.)

I like the location. It’s near restaurants and stores. The bed makes noise as if the bed springs are old. The soap to small and smelled old. There was small spiders in the room. Need to fumigate / pesticides for critters.

Easy parking. Motel was relatively easy to find. The room's floor was filthy! After taking just a few steps in socks or bare-footed, your feet were totally black. When my wife tried to remove a stain on the floor, with some toilet paper and water, the toilet paper came out black. And that was only for about 10 square inches. Also, there was only 1 working electrical outlet, and that was in the bathroom. When you plugged anything into the outlets, the plug would fall out. Devices (hearing aids, phones, tablets. etc.) had to be charged in the bathroom, which is not good because of the humidity and possibility of damaging the device from water. The bathroom vent did not work, so the bathroom really got steamed up while taking a shower. The drain plug in the bathtub was disconnected, so there was no way to take a bath. All the light fixtures were really rusty. Probably the worst thing, however, was that one of the light fixtures had both the black and white electrical wires were hanging out. with no bulb in the socket. It was a hot circuit because the maintenance man got shocked when putting wire nuts on the wires after I reported it to the front desk. The clerk told me that a maintenance man was not available when I reported it. When I told her that the exposed wires was a lawsuit waiting to happen, she got the maintenance man quickly (5 minutes). She would not, or could not, get us another room. This was by far the worst motel room that I have ever stayed in. I have stayed in a lot of Red Roof Inns, but this was totally unacceptable. I'm wondering if all of them are going to be this bad in the future. If so, bye-bye Red Roof Inn.

Lady at check in was nice. We rented two rooms one of them was disgusting cigarette holes in the bed and riding on the sheets. The tubs and showers were completely disgusting.

The receptionist was very polite and answered all my questions. The room was very dirty. The walls near the bed were stained. The bathroom was not clean. A cigarette was left near the window, and I kept it there so it can be checked. The floors were extremely dirty, and there was rust in multiple areas. The pillow cases were not clean!!

Conveniences for the surgery center Disgusting. Roaches crawling upon entering. Dog hair, peezy human hair in the bed, crumbs in the furniture, stained shower and toilet, smelled like dog urine. Horrible experience

The price and location to the hospital Afraid to leave our room at night. Lots of activity in the parking lot and above us on the second floor. Sounded like a bowling ball running across the floor most of the night.

The bed was comfortable and our great dane was allowed in the room. It was also in a good close proximity to downtown Savannah for a reasonable price. The (non-smoking) room smelled like weed and smoke. We tried a different room, which smelled even worse. The door to our room was unhinged and could not close well. The locks were ripped off the door so there was no safety closure. Police showed up to arrest somebody outside in the parking lot. There was garbage everywhere in the parking lot. Without my large dog, I would have felt unsafe in the room.

Bed was clean, that was about it. The rest of the room was in dire need of a thorough cleaning, particularly the bathroom. Property was fairly quiet, no complaints about noise or activity levels. Staff was professional and courteous. I don't know what I expected from Red Roof Inn, but I definitely didn't think it would be so gross.

The buttons on the phone were missing. The TV remote didn't have an input selection button and the tv was special to hotels and didn't have all the regular buttons. The hotel attendant showed us a button at the ir receiver that was able to switch inputs. Hot water was hot and had good pressure for shower if one dared to get into the shower.......

The room was nasty as hell. I literally wiped the bottom of the toilet with my foot and it was covered in dirt and mildew. I knew it wouldn’t be the best but I didn’t not expect it to be dirty. The sheets were stained when I pulled them back. Customer service was great explained that I wasn’t satisfied and got a refund

Two more men with a pop up gazebo behind their van, with lawn chairs and a grill going. All in all a pretty rough place with a lot of nefarious characters hanging around. If you want anything higher than a 1 star rating, keep looking.

We were woke by someone from the front office saying that we were in the wrong room. This was at 1235 AM and the person demanded that we open the door. I didn't!

Well, it was an inexpensive, clean room with a nice bed. I would recommend you bring your own towels, iron, coffeemaker and breakfast food you can microwave. Not bad and close to my Mom, so win win. ,

I reserved a non-smoking room. And received a dirty, lacking maintenance, smoking room. I called hotels.com to see if I could get a clean room that was non-smoking as reserved, the hotels.com representative hung up on me.

They showed me another room that was not near as bad. After accepting it, the light fixture in the bathroom was missing. No lights in the shower/toilet area. It appeared a remodel was going on as there were un-painted patches on the walls. I had dinner plans with a relative and left and checked in at another hotel. I returned next morning to return keys and let them know I did not stay in the room. They explained because they were booked out, they may not reverse the charge. They did not reverse the charge. Horrible exterior, looked like people were living there and there were signs of addicts and smells of drug use.

Don't agree with all negative reviews until you see other motels in area ..yes people everywhere there ..it's a crowded city!! Some odd things may be missing in rooms..they stay busy..have some reasoning here people..overall I say I'd stay there over some of the top class hotels I seem while there!! Promise that!! The room was described as non-smoking, but it reeked of smoke. The curtain was falling down from the wall from not because installed correctly or broken. I could go on and on about the bad experience I had. It was definitely not worth the money.

The TV was fine, but would not swivel to see when sitting in the most comfortable chair. The office style chair was OK, but not as comfortable. Bring your own coffee maker. I did, so I had one. I don't know the normal prices for hotels in Savannah, but this one was more than I pay most places and, somehow, I expected it to be better.

Burn spots all over the tub and dirt in the corners. Just sleep in your car honestly. Studio 6 is way clearer and same price. Wouldn't recommend unless its $25 a night, then your paying for what you get. Not worth the price

We didnt get to stay. The owners canceled our reservation before we got there. Then wanted to charge us dough for the same room.

We were charged prior to checking in. Our non-smoking room smelt like someone had just smoked a carton of cigarettes in it. The lamps were dirty and rusty. The door was hard to close and lock.

It was just a place to lay our heads at night so wasn’t really expecting much but the room always felt dirty… after you showered you immediately felt dirty. The room smelt like smoke the WHOLE time. But other than that again I can’t really complain much because it was just a place to lay our head

The site was easy to navigate, the hotel was clean and fresh. The feont desk attendant was very helpful for tourist and very polite made us feel welcomed. I would stay again and use the same site if i go back to savannah.

Check out - 1100 my wife and I were at adjacent hospital we were unable to get back to room until approximately 1110. We went hospital at 0555 left many personal item room when left in early am. Dental equipment, couple shirts, couple half full wine bottle and food in fridge. Obvious we had not departed! The cleaning staff had removed all our stuff to trash containers. In going through garbage found couple of items but most was lost!! Seems with personal items such as tooth brushes and clothes still in room the guests had not left!! Believe most guests at this facility would be patients at St Joseph hospital. If you must clear room at 1100, why bag and hold all items for couple of hours for return of patients from hospital!!

I have been staying at Hotels in Midtown Savannah GA for the past four weeks - I will not pay to stay at this specific hotel again. Besides the fact that they did not offer any type of breakfast - the towels were like sandpaper. The bed is possibly the only upgrade in the past 15 to 20 years.

I’m including pics of what we dealt with before finally giving up & leaving this cockroach inn. 1st room had stagnant water puddle outside bathroom door with flies & gnats so we argued with them for another room (they just wanted to mop it up & leave us there) when we got 2nd room, pics are what we dealt with. Knew better than to ask for another room change so it was TIME TO GO! This is 3rd Red Roof Inn we’ve had issues with this year so not sure what’s going on with these properties but we won’t take chance of booking one ever again. They have gone downhill quick

Upon checking in the front desk guy was very friendly got me checked in fast. Got around to the room and there were people everywhere. Music playing a little loud ppl standing on the top floor drinking and talking loud. It was more like a run down project home complex instead of a hotel. The room smelled awful there was no Main light the comforters were nasty the chair was nasty bugs were crawling in the bed. There was a checkers paper bag covering the smoke detector. I left immediately dont go here for any reason.

The property was in good condition and the room was clean. The staff was friendly. Well worth the money to stay in a comfortable bed and plenty of hot water for a shower.

I feel like y’all didn’t clean our room very well our bed sheets had stains and they were wet . Our bathroom didn’t have a curtain so all the water would splatter everywhere. We had cockroaches.

The room so filthy and unsafe. Mold on the walls and nightstand lamps. The fire alarm hanging half way from the ceiling. Microwave and refrigerator covered with rust. Holes on door and walls. The bathroom walls have holes and very dirty. The most horrible hotel I have stayed in my entire life. The reason why I didn't leave because I checked very late and my 5 year old boy was sick and tired.

It was bad experience. Me and my husband didn’t stay night that how bad room was . The room was smelled bad and bedsheets was not clean right it still have stain on sheet. We stayed 2 nights. To be honest, it is a good location because it has many restaurants and market around here. However, the room had ugly smell and I feel very uncomfortable, the bathtub had a fixed and covered with a big piece but it makes me feel not good when I took shower. Also, the water has bad smell, so I cannot brush my teeth and I had to do it with pure (drinking) water. In addition, there was missed (or broken) the filter part of the sink, so unconformable smell will flow once I washed face, hand, etc... In general, I am feel unhappy.

I was much concern about the fact the towels all had lipstick stains and I mean all like it had not been properly cleaned between guest. Also the shampoo bottle was open and only half full. I would really watch this.

The bathtub was rusted. Pillowcases were dirty, had to call to get them changed out, and there were roaches in the room. One roach was on the headboard of the bed. Very terrible experience.

The property was nice and the room was clean! It’s a great place to sleep after walking around Savannah all day.

I called a couple of days ahead of my stay to make sure I got a ground floor room for my handicapped husband. I talked to the night attendant named Don. He was so pleasant and very helpful. He had our ground floor room ready for us and escorted us to our room when we arrived. He was the upmost host!

The guest towels were soiled and stained, having several (bunch) strands of hair on them. The bed spread had holes in it appears to be burned. The sink faucet would come off when used

Mostly fine. Everything worked, no bugs, leaks, etc. The room had a certain smell that I didn't like, but not sure if that was the sanitizer or what. Housekeeping knocked on my door 1 hour before check-out time even though I had a Do Not Disturb card on the handle, which I did not appreciate.

I had a great stay. The price was affordable and my dog was able to stay for free with me. There is what I believe to be a family that does the housekeeping and they come around every morning to see if you need anything. I would stay again if ever in the area.

Upon entering the hotel, we cud tell that ppl were using this place as their homes....they were hanging all out, smoking all kinds of things, etc. the 1st room the GSR gave us had dirty floors upon entering, so we quickly decided to chk the bedding and yes both beds, the sheets were stained, bathroom just wasnt clean enuf to shower in, so we went back to the front desk and we requested for a different room... the GSR gave us a new room with no problem, he was indeed nice and helpful...this new room smelled cleaned upon enetering, and the sheets were fine...the bathroom though needs to be torn out and replaced with a new one...the A/C unit was rusty, old curtains with lots of small holes in it, the shower curtain was full of mold at bottom, but the GSR replaced it with a new one...again a very nice man. the rest of the unpleasant things in the room were just old rusty bathroom issues and old lanterns...the next day we asked the indian guy for towels bcus we had used the previous ones...it wasnt until when we got ready to check out of hotel the last day when we got ONLY 3 medium sz towels, not even the complete set...this guy wasnt nice like the other one....
