    I didn't realize you had to stay with your pet in the room or take with you. Could not eat in a decent restaurant or visit sight seeing places in Savannah. Total waste to stay there.

    Bathroom floor and wall behind the door was very dirty. Staff cleans while door is open so it never gets cleaned behind door. Fridg very noisy.

    The breakfast was very lacking. The hotel itself just didn’t feel clean and the carpet was dirty. The room itself was OK but it did have a rusted door. It’s OK for a quick night day, but just not my cup of tea.

    The establishment was okay for the price and an overnight stay. We were charged an additional $15 to check-in earlier, which wasn't worth it at all. The pool area was outdated and was hot and uncomfortable ?. No circulation in there at all. Breakfast was a (2), better off bringing your own. I wouldn't get another room here unless I was very very very desperate. The people above me were horribly loud, running and stomping all night. Lord have mercy! I must say I got what I paid for (over charged actually).

    The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast area was neat and the food was good and warm! Some people were at the back entrance parked for an extended time- (where it was closer for me to park ) and the smell of weed was strong. I had to come and go several times. We could not leave our senior dogs to enjoy a few minutes at the pool and hot tub.

    The room was great, updated and clean. Breakfast was reasonable. The only thing that didn't work for me was the pet policy. Pets can't be left in the room alone. My dog is old and fluffy. Sleeps all day and I had to drag him out to visit the town, when he would be more comfortable sleeping in the hotel with AC. Won't stay again of I am traveling with my dog. But is a great hotel for price.

    Hotels.com claims that it provides the total price when you book, but this Red Roof Inn charged an additional "nonrefundable" $1.50 fee at check-in. The property was in mediocre condition, there were no bath towels in the room, the lighting in the room was low, and at first there was no one at the front desk at check-in (which is both an inconvenience and a security risk). Plus there were a bunch of silly rules recited at check-in such as "keep your room key away from your car keys and your cell phone." I didn't know that Red Roof Inn had fallen so low.

    Our room had a musty moldy in it. In general the room appeared pretty clean. The overall appearance of the facility looked fairly run down and old. Bed was fairly comfortable. The room size was quite small but was sufficient for our short stay. Was hoping to have a fitness center but there was not one. For some reason it was quite noisy which made it difficult to sleep. The shower head needed to be cleaned or replaced because the water spray was minimal. I did have two more nights reserved later in the month but I canceled those reservations to look for a place someone more to my liking.

    Not much The entire hotel needs a renovation. It did not feel clean, and many of the worn pieces of furniture needed replaced. The second floor carpet smelled of mold. The neighbors to our room blasted music until after 1 am. Someone on the second floor smoked weed, and the smell dominated the entire second floor. It masked the mold smell. The breakfast was unimpressive, because it was almost 100% bread.

    The location of hotel is nice. It is not in the downtown but not too far away from it. It is about 15 mins from Savannah Downtown and 45 minutes from Tybee beach. The location is nice, there are few restaurants around. There is a subway just next to the hotel, there is a Mexican restaurants and plenty of gas stations. The room is pleasant, the beds are comfortable, the HVAC is good. The fridge size is excellent. Breakfast is decent, not a full spread but good enough. Loved the Spa and Indoor pool. WiFi is not the fastest but one can use it for videos and browsing. Nothing. Everything was okay. No complaints about the stay.

    Online states the cost for a second dog is $15. When I was checking in I was told it's 25. She only charged me 15 because I told her about the online price. The premium king size bed was not comfortable. You can't leave your dog in the room while you go to eat and you can't take the food back to your room. They make you sit in a little nook with them. I don't think I will return to this place although everything else was ok

    I liked that it was in a pretty quiet area. The area seemed safe enough. The lobby was clean and the check in staff was friendly. The room was dated. Everything from the walls, to the floors, to the paint and finishes were either chipped, peeling, damaged, stained or haphazardly cleaned. There was a strange mildew-like smell in the room. The metals in the room were rusting or oxidizing.

    The ac was functional, but the faucet was not. Lifting it to turn on the water, it fell off. We asked for it to be fixed, but that wasn't in their plans, so we asked to move rooms. They said they were full. The beds were kinda clean; the sheets might have been washed but the frames were dusty and there was a fake fingernail next to one. Other guests on our fllor were smoking something other than cigarettes for two of our three nights; when we take to the front desk, they told us there were no other guests on our floor. (Note we were told ask rooms were booked.) Breakfast was some muffins that were handled before we got downstairs (like, visible finger prints) while the cereal sat out all weekend long. The pool is tiny.

    I can’t even answer what I liked about the property because I drove 20 hours from Canada and this was my first thought before I got to Florida and it said it was pet friendly when I got there they said I needed two rooms because I had four little small 3 pound Chihuahuas. They wanted me to pay an extra hundred dollars for another room. I was pissed. I cancelled my reservation and I went next-door instead.

    The property is conveniently located off I95 making it a good overnight travel stop. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and stocked with bathroom needs such as towels soaps and lotion. The beds were very clean comfortable. We were up early and left so I can’t comment on the breakfast. For the price it was a good choice.

    Gym was nit accessible or non existent. Manager demand that housekeeping aceces room even though i told them room was clean as i had just checkdd in and worked the night. Manager of property was impolite, and rude. They act as if youre homeless and was sheltering on their property. They open the door, kept it open the whole time while I was laying down in bed as i was tired from working a 22hrs shift!

    The lady at the front is really rude and condescending. I saw LOTS of others complaining about her on the reviews. Other people that were at the hotel were complaining about her also. I won’t be back as long as she is there. Business would probably pick up if she was gone.

    The hotel has a non smoking policy, but the hallways and elevator had a very strong marijuana smell. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything that is going on next to you or on top. The only positive thing is that the beds were comfortable and the sheets seemed clean. I do not recommend this hotel.

    Everything felt new and clean. Linens and towels were very nice, dispensers in shower and at sink were a great touch like the back-lit mirror.     The so-called “side entrance” was taped off where glass had clearly been smashed—poorly, I might add. Nothing says excellent first impression like flimsy tape and a very “this just happened” look. It immediately raised safety concerns and set the tone for the rest of the stay. Inside, the problems kept coming: vinyl flooring peeling up, a dirty bathroom, and a bed with a strong, unpleasant odor. I actually had to go out and buy extra sheets just to be able to lie down without feeling sick. At check-in, I was arbitrarily charged an extra $1.50, and when I asked why, the front desk attendant was extremely rude, claiming it was because I “pre-booked online.” That explanation made absolutely no sense and felt like a petty, dishonest money grab. Sleep was impossible. The walls are paper thin, and there was very loud sexual activity coming from both adjacent rooms. If only I’d known this place truly puts the HO in HOtel. All of this—for $125 for one night. One star—and that’s generous. Unsafe-looking, dirty, noisy, overpriced, and poorly managed. I am extremely dissatisfied and expect a refund for this stay. I left feeling grossed out, overcharged, and exhausted. Stay literally anywhere else.

    My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this location. The moment we walked into the building, it smells so clean and with a lovely fragrance. Our room was clean and organized and the young man at front desk even gave me “Jasmine” air freshener to freshen up the room even more. The indoor pool and hot tub was definitely another plus to the place. As Jamaicans, our breakfast food is much different but that wasn’t a problem for as, as we appreciate the fact that something was there for guests to have. Only suggestion, it would be nice to see the clean rags and towels stored in a different way rather than placed where they were. Thank you for a great stay.

    Check in was a hassle. Had to wait 15 minutes to check in. They don't accept tap pay so I had to drive to the bank and get cash 10 minutes away traffic terrible. No one was at the desk when I got back 8 minutes wait for someone to come then the room was very compact and non spacious terrible. Not worth the price

I did have to pay an extra $1.5 when I checked in for some reason. Room was clean and comfortable, although bathroom door would shut, it would not latch. Frontcdesk offered room change but the whole hotel had same order so new room would prove futile. I have mild lung issues and am very sensitive to smell. The room andchotel uded sanitizer that smelled like a combination of okd toilet cakes, moth balls and super strength pinesol. I had hoped once we put ac on in room the smell would dissipate. We tried to go to sleep early so we vould get an early start. We could not sleep so we left. We have 7 hoyrs left tovdrive home so we will seek alternative lodging. Will request refund or partial credit. Hoping it was cleaners i was smelling and not mold/mildew. Saw black around firexalarm and sprinklersxand wall had bubbling swelling around ac unit. Not good. Hopefully my lungs clear up,.

The room and bed was very comfortable and was conveniently located right near the highway to go wherever in whatever direction we needed to go. Vending and ice machines was fully stocked.     Very happy to find hotel that allowed 2 dogs, 50 and 70 pound at an affordable rate. Used pool for about 2 hours that was fun for grands. If you want to sleep in I wouldn't recommend room near vending area, guy above us was up 545am every day, must have been big, we heard every step, sounded like a giant. It was nice for some short sleep and shower. I'd do it again, due to large dogs. Nice staff.

Breakfast could’ve been a little better, the dining area was unkempt; trash overflowing, coffee cups were empty. The morning service wasn’t as good as the night time service. People just weren’t as friendly in the morning.

    First off we booked through a 3rd party. They charged us once we got there an extra $1 bc we used a 3rd party. Yet the rates were the exact same. The room was dirty. Blood on floor, mold on tub, dirt, food on end table. Tv service horrible. Never worked. Noise very loud all night. Waffles were the only good thing.

Know now to ask that question at future hotel stay. The air conditioner was not regulated well.i had to awake frequently to turn it up or down for comfort. The tub does not hold tub water for bath. I do not take shower. The toilet moves when sitting on it.

    Decent hotel for the price. Outside parking area and landscaping is dated and unkept. Very strong “clean” smell when you enter (smells like they’re trying to cover up something). Room was advertised as handicap accessible and the picture on Hotels.com showed wheelchair accessible roll-in shower but the room had a tub. Asked at the front desk for the room with the wheelchair accessible shower but they said they didn’t have a single room like that at this hotel. Good basic hotel breakfast included with stay.

    Bathroom floor was dirty, even after complaining the first night they still didn't clean it very good. Fridge seemed old, noisy, very wobbly and scratched up. The worse/cheapest TV controller I've ever used. When I complained to the manager about not being able to take some toast up to my room (my wife had a bad nights sleep and couldn't make it for the 9am deadline) the lady just said that's the rules. She was very nice though. Although you can bring food in to cook in the microwave... Walls are not very well soundproofed. Constant banging of doors that don't have proper dampening. Sorry but we wouldn't stay there again.

    Although I know the staff cannot control the noise level of its guests, we were not able to get a restful night of sleep between doors slamming, loud voices and just general noise. The area in front of the soda/ice machines on the first floor was filthy and sticky, where it looked like a soda had been spilled and never cleaned up. Outside of the hotel were used condoms and a dirty grill.

    Traffic is terrible around the area (not the hotels fault). Hallways, elevator, and room stunk like weed. You could hear everything from the hallway like conversations from inside rooms. It seemed more like a halfway house. Showed up to check in and the worker just sat in the office for 5 minutes (I could see the cameras). Floors were disgusting in room. Furniture and bedding were covered in stains and loose trash. I love Red Roof Inns, but not this one. Terrible decision to stay here.

    My room was very nice, but small .My cell phone had terrible reception, even when I turned WiFi on. I guess it was because my room was located on the 1'st floor near the back of the building near the laundry room.My phone worked fine in the rest of the hotel. They hotel also serve hot breakfast in the morning. Overall my stay was good.

    Disgusting experience from the front desk personnel to the common areas and the rooms. This place is not worth more than $50 a night based on the lack of upkeep inside the entire property and customer DISSERVICE they provide. My toddler and I didn't spend more than 15 minutes in this room before I reported everything wrong with it and the property to Expedia and the front desk. I returned the keys and waited for 3 hours for the manager to arrive to approve my refund as instructed by Expedia. The manager, Tenisha, came in to me crying in the lobby at 7:15am and after 20 minutes she finally acknowledged me and refused to refund me the hundred dollars that I spent for that night saying that when you use a 3rd party site, even if it says it's refundable, it's not. The overnight front desk attendant NEVER MENTIONED THIS SO CALLED POLICY. They only refunded the second night and I had not slept at all for over 24 hours so she made another key and tried to get me to go back to the room that my daughter was too scared to be inside of. I called Expedia again and she told them I used the room even though I was on camera in the lobby for hours.I had a suicidal mental episode due to lack of sleep and how my child and I were treated by this establishment when all I asked for was a refund for a room that was falsely advertised that I did not utilize. They did not care and let my child and I leave knowing they had stolen my money and I had not used the room.

    I thought the hotel was going to be clean from the pictures I seen .. it was filthy walls are filthy the bathroom mirror had I love Christopher written on it every time it got wet .looks are very deceiving I will never come back and stay to that place . It’s for crack heads and buddies

    The front desk lady is rude!!! They have bed bugs. I was bitten and I have documentation of it!!! You have to eat breakfast downstairs nothing (food) allowed in rooms..They give limited towels.. .

    The carpet in the lobby is beyond dated and needs to be replaced yesterday. The room was ok and rhe beds were comfortable, but one wouldn't want to smell the carpet immediately after openimg the room door.

    Staff was friendly but location was sketchy. I know it was New Year's Eve/ Day but i was awakened many times by the sound of heavy stomping and knocking coming from rooms above 1st floor where my room was located. Cleanliness was ok but not satisfactory. Problems was pubic hair not properly cleaned out of shower and the smell of Marijuana lingering throughout hallway and rooms.

    I really liked the rooms. They were equipped with everything except ironing board which was alright. The beds were super comfortable and my favorite part was the first pet was free. My dog and I had a Blast!! I thought they probably needed to clean up around side of property. Maybe they should put a fenced in grassy dog park there.

    I had to pay an extra fee once I arrived at the hotel for using Expedia. I have never encountered that before. Hotel would not print a receipt because I used a third party to book the room. Staff was not inviting to customers. Breakfast was very disappointing. I guess you get what you pay for. Won’t make that mistake again.

    I feel like I was scammed. I received a call from the hotel stating that they will have to charge me for make up being on the sheet. they told me it wouldn’t come out so when I return back to the hotel, I went to the front desk actually to look at the sheet, not only was it not that much make up they didn’t even attempt to wash it so I said y’all didn’t even wash it. I was told because they already know it’s not coming out. So I said I do not understand if y’all didn’t attempt to wash it and every make up is different. They could not even explain it to me I really did not wanna go back-and-forth. So I just started going through the process of paying my fee when I was told I only could paid in cash that did not make any sense to me ask why I could not be paid with card I was told as the hotel policy, but it’s OK for me to pay for my booking with card. So I asked for receipt and it was hesitation on me getting a receipt also it was dirt stains on the wall. Shower curtain was dirty. my stay was not refundable so I really wanted to leave, but I could not. I was gonna lose out on all the money I put in. And they serve breakfast, but you cannot take it up to your room. You have no choice, but to eat it In the lobby/Dining area.

    Music blasting (no exaggeration) from 10pm til 12:30 then 3:30am till 5. Wasn’t interested in getting in a conflict with next door neighbours. I’d imagine there were several complaints. Breakfast was the best part. Pool itself looked ok, lots of discolouration or mold at the corners of the walls and floor, no towels available. Seemed like very high levels of chlorine, didn’t feel safe. Beds were comfortable and clean. Microwave was covered in greasy handprints. Gym was unavailable. I’m not a picky person, I’ve stayed at many motels and hotels but this is one I’ll always remember. I’d suggest booking else where. Front desk worker must do 24 hours shifts, I think more hands on deck could bring this place back to life..maybe? Who am I to say. Thanks for reading.

    There was nothing to like - We are seniors in our 80's We arrived at 8.30 pm and were told that they had no hot water and we would be charged the amount anyway. Before we entered the room we were subjected to the stench of POT. The room and bathroom had no tissue, and one half roll of toilet tissue. One business chair only in the room. When we turned the bed down, it had a stain on the sheet. We had to fight with them to change the sheets. The floors were filthy. We were told that they would give us a refund if they didn't have to change the sheets - this was after 11 pm by then. There was no way at our age that we should go looking for another hotel. They even charged us 1.50 extra that they said Expedia didn't pay them. We've used Expedia several times before, but never again. We will also report this issue to the media - On top of that we booked an exceptional room according to the online choices, but it was far from being acceptable in any way. They had soap containers attached to the wall but one of them was empty. No other toiletries in the room that any other hotel lays out always. On top of that, we would have gotten there earlier, however, there was a lineup of vehicles from the 95 onto the ramp. We were unable to get to our hotel until 8.30 pm I called the hotel to let them know what was happening but the response I got sounded like " oh well "

    We stayed at this hotel because it allowed dogs. The hotel had no hot water during our stay. The continental breakfast is not permitted to be brought back to your room. I have no idea why but the front desk attendant was diligently watching. This was our first stay at a hotel with our dog and the thin walls did not help her feel comfortable.

    I checked in 11-1-24 no HOT WATER through out the hotel, front desk assured me it will be up in running hot in 30 min, NO HOT WATER when I get up the next morning 11/2/24had a funeral to attend, late had to go to a friend house to wash along with my 2 yr old grandson, and son.. it’s 11/3/24 still NO HOT WATER throughout the hotel ..some just left, many devastated, A-LOT UPSET due to the hotel not even giving compensation back, offering free nights, etc This is so sad, I WORK HARD FOR MONEY
