clean room, quiet. appreciate the option of cash deposit for rooms

Coffee maker needs to be updated.

Area was not safe, many individuals living there full time with items in the walkways. Room was in a dark hallway with a window opening up to no natural light. Odd stain as well on sheets.

Nice rooms, thick walls, good AC. Complimentary Continental breakfast bare minimum, but serviceable (no eggs, but warm biscuits and gravy and DIY fresh waffles, amongst the usual fare)

The room was very tidy and kept in great shape. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was OK, as expected for price range. This stay was very suitable for a family overnight stay.

Overall the HoJo was good value for the money. Breakfast was sparse and the "butter" was actually vegetable spread, which irked me a bit. but I'm admittedly picky that way. But overall a decent experience.

We checked in around at 4:30 am, front desk attendant was very courteous and helped us with everything quickly so we could get some much needed rest.

The bedspread had what looked like a booger on it and the bases of the beds were metal which made loud noise every time I touched with my feet. They did bring another bedspread to replace the dirty one

The room was super clean and smelled so good! I really don’t like that they advertise the pool when it doesn’t even look like it’s been open in years that was one of the big reasons why we booked with them…We won’t be booking there again.

Rooms were just ok, nothing special. No extra pillows or blankets. Breakfast wasn’t really worth it, the best thing was the mini waffles. The gravy for the biscuits wasn’t even warm. The pool wasn’t even filled, and didnt look close to being ready to be open. All in all it was simply “ok” as we were just sleeping there. The rooms were clean, the staff was quiet. Location was easy to get to, and near gas stations and places to catch a bite to eat.

You can hear everything thing through the walls and the bathroom we're too small and the air didn't work correctly i had to keep getting up throughout the night to keep turning it on for the price i had to pay other than that it was ok

Clean room but was noisy as there was construction goung on in nearby rooms. Friendly staff, great location.

The room was clean, staff very friendly, continental breakfast included with your stay. You only take away is they didn't have an elevator and I carry my bags upstairs but someone in their 60s I feel it should have been an elevator because I have bad knees so I was really afraid of falling backwards while going up stairs.

At one point in the night my spouse and I both woke up to a smell of burning or sewage, we weren't sure which. After checking out room and the outside we went back to sleep. In the morning the smell was gone.

Not much Mold on doors, walls, baseboards. Brown something on bathroom mirror. Horrible odor. Had to switch rooms to ones only slightly better. Stains on bedspreads. No table. One pneumatic chair that sank if sat on. Dirty microwave. Fridge front that looked like it had been mangled. Management would not provide monetary compensation for uncleanliness. Stains on ironing board. Dirty highchair. Substandard breakfast. Other guests who were intoxicated or mentally disturbed banged on door at 4:00 am looking for someone.

The room was satisfactory - the amenities were good. The bed had a metal skirt that created quite a noise whenever you sat on the bed or rolled over in bed.

We booked a king room. When we arrived it appeared our AC unit was taking a while to kick over, so we turned it on and went to dinner. When we got back it was still muggy in the room and was not working. I’m not a complainer, but I can’t sleep when it’s hot so I called to let them know. I was not rude or mean when speaking with the lady and she comes to check it out and tried to make me believe it was working and IT WAS NOT. I asked for a room change and she basically asked if I could stay in the room until the following morning so someone named Hank could see it wasn’t working because the only room she had was a double and it was more expensive and the only room left. So if customer service when a legit issue arises is high on your list…don’t go here!

Waffles and cereals and sm muffin and a fruit offered every day. Juice and white wheat bread, muffin also. Get eggs and sausage on weekends. It was OK but I've had better selection at other places such as yogurt, variety of fruit, optional hot meals,. For what i paid to stay it was satisfying. Would like variety on breakfast.

Friendly staff, decent location for what it's worth. Price was on the cheaper side. Exterior of the building was in good shape, clean, and the parking was good. Typical Motel vibes. Don't let the nice pictures and 10/10 reviews fool you. I thought maybe it was a nicer motel by the pictures and reviews but we quickly realized it was just your typical motel. It might get a 7/10 in value since rates are cheap but definitely does not compare with some of the other options in the 7-8/10 range. If you have budget for a hotel, don't try to save money by going the motel route. Probably my fault, but oh well. I figured a 7/10 would be doable for me but I couldn't make the stay - too bougee I guess.

The price was good. The room needed to be cleaned thoroughly. The ice box was dirty and the walls and doors needed to wiped down. The shower, shower curtains, and beds were clean. The water pressure was horrible, but the shower was hot. If they took the extra step to wipe down surfaces the room wouldnt have been bad for the price. They also could invest in new toilet seats, they aren't that expensive. The little details would've made the difference.

Clean Early in the morning, we started to hear some extremely loud banging and commotion between 2 people. It kept us from sleeping. I got irritated so opened our door to see who it was and it wound up being the cleaning staff? immediately called the front desk and the gentleman stated he would have to have his manager talk to them because they don’t speak English. You wouldn’t believe the noise they were making. Completely disrespectful when you have guests trying to rest.

My stay at Howard Johnson by Wyndham Savannah GA on July 22, 2025, was disappointing. The room was not clean, and I noticed bugs shortly after checking in. This was especially concerning because my child has a severe allergy to bug bites. Due to these conditions, we felt unsafe and could not comfortably stay the night.

Our stay was excellent. The room was very clean and comfortable. The only complaints I have is the staff is not friendly at all. When checking in she didn’t even speak. When I asked where to get ice she just pointed out the door. Other than that we had zero complaints.

This was a stop over from our trip to FL. The clerk at the registration desk was a very friendly and helpful young man. The room was clean and comfortable and met my needs for accessibility.

My daughter accidentally left a ziplock bag with few clothing in the bathroom and when I inquired about it, they told me they don’t have a lost and found so if it was left there, it was thrown away. When I got there the they told me the doors system was not working so they had open it manually which I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my belongings when we came back at night I got my card key and when I opened the beds it there was hair on the sheets I had my own blanket so we slept on top of the bedspread there was people outside screaming and smoking, we were tired so we stayed. thank god it was only one night I do not recommend this place at all.

Had another hotel guest listen into my room, ear to my door at 2:30 am. Hotel staff did nothing. Room had strong mildew smell & mold on walls and bathroom door. Lots of people hanging out outside drinking. Dirty unheated pool. But the real problem is the pervert housekeeper who decided to bang on my door at 10 am about 5 knocks then opened the door. The whole time I was saying “one minite” “ I’m coming” hold on” then it was “stop” “don’t open the door” “close it” as he is looking at me naked inside my hotel room through the crack (fortunately I had the top latch locked so he couldn’t see more). Front desk told me he wasn’t supposed to knock on my door or any door surrounding mine, let alone go inside. Staff did not refund reservation. I have not heard back from the manager (I was told manager will be here in 10-15 minutes, after 45 minutes, he did not show and I left.) very disappointed and disgusted.

Everything & everyone was clean & friendly. The beds were too small! Not twin, but certainly not full, they were a weird size! Not comfortable for 2 full size people!

When we arrived, we were to pay a deposit but were charged twice for our stay and had to have it corrected. We asked the cleaning staff the one time they came by for towels and to change the trash, the towels were left inside the door, but the trash was not changed. We had to go and get toilet paper from the front desk as no one came by. In all honesty we will not be staying again when we return.

This property was very nasty. The plumbing sucks. They did not offer us room cleaning service. Had to go ask for clean towels. The beds were not queen they were full. The only nice thing was the pool.

They messed up with our deposit and claimed it didnt come off of our card. It in fact did. And when we asked to use a different card to pay said deposit they claimed the computer got confused since we booked the room under a different card when really the front desk lady said we can use th e other card without realizing it already took the deposit off of a different card. They told us it would be back on our card by that night since they did refund it but we still dont have it. Instead of validation and apologizing for this said inconvenience they claimed it never came off the card even though it did twice because they charged both cards. We checked in late and the staff was wonderful. Everyone was very friendly. The room was basic and clean. Breakfast could have been a bit better with a few more options but overall great experience.

When I asked for a refund, they said sorry we cannot give you a refund call hotels.com. Hotels.com does nothing for you. I just got scammed out of money and provided no room

Found two live roaches and another large bug. Smelled of mold and mildew. However, bed sheets seemed clean and the water was instantly hot. They’ve painted and tried to make it nicer, but for what we paid, it was fine.

I had an absolutely terrible experience, i was driving from NY to Orlando Florida and decided for a quick stop with my 6 yr old, 11 yr old, and 14 yr old. We arrived around 11:30 pm so it was only going to be for a few hours before we got back on the road. The place was a complete disaster, beds were harder than the floor, bath tub and sink completely dirty and unusable. We were so exhausted i told the kids try and get some sleep and we're leaving in the morning. No showers because water was brown. We got up 5:30 am and left. The breakfast was probably the best thing they had.

The hotel staff is very friendly. Rooms were very clean. Nice pool. Needs a little TLC in the bathroom. But the price is very affordable.

The room was very musty and needed cosmetics repairs. Breakfast wasn't worth being call any type of Breakfast.

There were cigarettes in the pool,phone wasn't hooked up in the room and no cord to hook it up and we had to keep going to ask for towels because when they got the dirty ones they didn't give us fresh ones.Fridge wasn't cold enough...

We couldn’t check in the computer system was down we went and ate dinner and came back. Systems were still down the owner and his son we’re having a fit yelling at the Internet people. Finally they decided to check us in manually. This hotel is old the room smells musty. No amount of paint is going to help that I will never stay at this hotel again.

It was raining the day we arrived so all our plans were messed up due to weather. The staff at the hotel were nice enough to let us check in a little bit early. The rooms were clean, not spotless but clean and well kept. Staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good also. Check out was quick and easy also. Would stay again.

Great experience. This will be my hotel of choice when visiting Savannah. Hotel was clean and staff was wonderful. The rates are very affordable, I loved that.

The both room was nasty. Pubic hair in the shower and dried piss and pubic hair on the toilet. If we didn’t just driver 16 hours we would not have stayed. We all slept on top of the blankets fully clothed.

We arrived to a line in the lobby to check in. The employee complained about how busy she was the entire time and said the line was getting any shorter and she just wanted to eat. We asked for a rollaway bed and it seemed as though it was a huge inconvenience to her.

This hotel was truly terrible. Rude customer service. We got to the room and found cockroaches crawling in the bathroom floor, spider webs with spiders in the bathroom, and rat poop in the corner of the room! The room said it would sleep 5 but we show up and there are 2 double beds. They gave us a rollaway bed for ANOTHER fee and the rollaway bed was absolutely disgusting and had dirt and food crumbs inside it with stains. We actually ended up having to LEAVE the property because we could not stay there. And on top of it horrible customer service and didn’t get our money back!! I am beyond horrified from the experience.

Don’t go to the location wasn’t treated fare I paid my money just like everybody else but couldn’t leave out with the food because I had a child that was still sleep in the room was told that was to much food and the air conditioning and vent had white stuff all in it said they don’t do room service but when we left the room they went into it so I won’t to know wat was y’all lookin for

Avoid this area and keep driving. Shady looking characters sitting in chairs smoking on the walkways eyeing you, and a non-stop hooligan filled party outside next door, complete with loud music and bumping cars and yelling throughout the day and night. They are watching your every move too. Also, hair, blood on the wall and toilet, various other sticky stains and god-knows-what. AVOID.

Our room was very clean. We parked right outside our room. Area is mostly quiet for being on interstate. Although not a deluxe level room, price was right and we had everything we needed.

Overall staff were nice, facility was clean and it’s a good choice if on a budget. Personally, I would not go back with all the other options available.

Ac/heat unit not working. As it was a Saturday night didn’t bother telling front desk as it wouldn’t have been serviced anyway. I did inform them at checkout
