The hotel has an excellent location on River Street. Our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good. Self parking is available for $40 or valet parking for $50.

Absolutely loved this hotel. It was clean, nice, fun and perfect for our family of 5. The pool is so fun, and the staff is so nice. Each room has a balcony so watching the cargo ships come thru was a highlight. 10/10 trip.

Loved our suite. Beautiful view of the river, great accomodations (clean, new), professional staff. Valet service was efficient and helpful. It was a bit far to walk for our little one to tour meeting locations, etc. However, we had a great view and it was close to River Street for people who like that area.

The location is wonderful. Easily walkable to everything. Right on river street. The rooftop pool was beautiful but a little cool in April! The pool itself is heated but getting out in that cold wind was frigid! Kid loved it though

We were treated wonderfully during our stay here at the hotel. Our suite was well stocked with everything we would need to stay in or dine out. The RTB omg with the roof top pool, that was beautiful. The river and city views were awesome. I could have stayed on the roof top just for the view alone. The pool was very warm and clean. The only thing I think would have been helpful was if the RTB food items could have been ordered from a menu in our rooms and delivered to our rooms instead of having to go to the RTB (Roof Top Bar) to order, wait, and receive the order. The staff was awesome. The breakfast was delicious. Offered a large variety of food items, hot and cold. Would stay here again.

I have stayed at Homewood Suites each year for the past four years I have visited Savanna. It is very family friendly and clean. The staff is great and breakfast is delicious and FREE!

I’m a traveling practitioner and had to schedule a last minute work trip to Savannah. I checked into the hotel after midnight and had clinic early the next morning. I was incredibly surprised to be hit with a $40 parking fee, especially as a guest.

Clean room, clean bathroom, Clean towels Full Kitchen with all appliances (full fridge, dinner table, stove, microwave, plates, utencils, etc) Negatives: No youtube (guest account), no soap bar, bathroom sink was clogged. Flaky do not disturb sign 2 out of 3 Elevators sucked!… button lights not working, up/down arrows not working, noises Breakfst:very good overall but no espresso! Convinience store: very good! Rooftop: no difference between classy area or pool deck area; its all together. Not good as nice launge for well dressed people. Overall ok but when it rains or after the rain, is hard to find a clean / dry seat. No table service. Rooftop Food: very good but small portions Bar: very good

The location was Riverfront but a short walk to the cobblestone and center of River Street. Located in a quiet area. The hotel had valet parking and excellent customer service. We booked a suite with two queen beds and balcony. The living area was a little small, but the entire suite was very well done.

The breakfast was delicious every morning and plentiful! My only complaints are the sink in the bathroom was stopped up and the trash can in the kitchen was too small with no bag and the cleaning people don’t come take the trash out at all.

Very clean and newer, modern rooms. Breakfast was ok. Paid public parking right across the street was only $11.25 overnight. Highly recommend

Great location! Walkable to tons of restaurants, shopping, riverwalk, river cruises, etc. Wonderful breakfast. Being greeted by Spring each morning made our day. Loved the pool deck and bar. If ever back in Savanah, we would definitely stay here again!

The breakfast was terrific! It allowed our group to gather each morning, plan our day and have a varied and tasty meal together. Spring, the breakfast staff supervisor (?) was a wonderful, cheerful way to start every day. She is a fantastic representative for you and her personality is delightful. I appreciated the every-other-day housekeeping policy. It is efficient and environmentally sound as well as not so intrusive as every-day service.

Valet parking was efficient, but rather expensive at $50 per night. We we had a great river view from room 801, (dual aspect) but unfortunately the roof top bar of the next door AC Hotel looked directly into our room, which meant we had to keep the blind down permanently

We loved the spaciousness of the room. We were especially happy having a kitchen so we could cook our own meals. It was nice being located on the waterfront. The parking seemed quite expensive.

The room was fine with a good view of the Savannah river. The breakfast room staff was excellent; everyone was personable, pleasant, and nice to be around! For the amount of money charged the room could have been cleaned each day instead of every other day. The idea that it is cleaned every other day for our 'comfort' is an insult to my intelligence. The breakfast was good with real plates, bowls and coffee/tea cups. However, while real knives were used the forks and spoons were plastic!

The rooftop pool and restaurant was amazing. The WiFi made it had to work from the laptop, I ended up using my phones hot spot instead- even though I joined the Hilton rewards!

This is a very clean hotel, good location and a very good breakfast. The staff at the front desk and breakfast were excellent, but the parking attendant/ valet was no very good. This hotel uses a very expensive parking garage $50 a night, so I ended up parking on the street and at city parking garage six blocks away.

Room was better than expected! View from the balcony was great. Music on the rooftop was a nice touch. Food was minimal but there are more than plenty options within walking distance. Breakfast was good and again the staff was awesome in that area as well. Valet was fast and polite. Excellent value when booking in advance. Great location. Valet was $50 per night or self parking was $45. We opted for Valet and saved ourselves the hassle. Can't say enough good about the location, staff, and amazing room.

The room was clean. Bed comfortable. Goid choice of breakfast. Pillows provided were thin. Requested an animal free level. Could hear dogs barking and observed 2 dogs being walked in hallway on way out.

The location was fine for us, we didn't mind the walk, most things are less than a mile, but if you are less active if could be prohibitive. Finally, the breakfast, while the staff was wonderful, the potatoes tended to be lukewarm and mushy, again not that it would keep us from utilizing this hotel again if we are back in the area.

I called to let the property and Booking.com know I was unable to make it. I asked if they would not charge me for the nights stay due to my car issue and both refused.

The room was very spacious, clean and quiet. The bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was quite impressive it was a different variation each day and several options to choose from and was not lacking anything. The staff was all very hospitable and helpful. The rooftop bar was great for relaxing in the evening. Parking can be a challenge if you are self parking. Cell service in the parking garage is an issue. But once you login to the hotel Wi-Fi you can complete the process.

Your room is ready, but if you wanna go up to it, you have to pay a $25 fee because you are early. Not a great way to start off the vacation. Never have I ever and I travel the world. As annoyed as I was, I paid the $25 and went up to my room and unpacked, anxious to get out in the sun. I looked out the window and realized I was not in the room I paid for. Contacted the front desk and they were able to move me to another room with the view I paid for, but not the room accommodation. I contacted Hilton regarding my concern and was told that I could not make any kind of claim for compensation until after I checked out the hotel was very nice, the rooftop pool and bar was lovely. Enjoyed a nice happy hour and breakfast was plentiful. I would recommend this hotel as long as you get the room you paid for and are willing to pay extra to enjoy your room that is ready and waiting.

Paid for Valet and didn’t really get any extra help with luggage, all they did was park our car….no offers for upgrades at check in and the hotel was not overly booked. So somewhat disappointed and we paid a LOT for one night…. Best part is just location!

A special shoutout to Wii. Our balcony door wouldn’t open. Wii and his co-workers repaired the door the next morning! We enjoyed the rooftop bar. The bartenders were friendly and efficient, especially enjoyed Fancy. All in all, a great stay!

Very nice hotel. I would try staying river side. There can be a lot of noise from E Bay St. Other than that, all great. Staff, hotel, hotel pool, location, etc., was really positive.

Reminds me of Abercrombie. Dishwasher did not work and construction fence across the street made it inconvenient to access the ferry dock because you could not walk across the parking lot even though there was not any construction going on. Just a fence surrounding and blocking the parking lot.

It was our very first time visiting Savannah Ga and it was my wife's birthday so the hotel played a major role in our weekend stay. The check in staff was amazing. Very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was top tier and the staff was awesome. This hotel is a must stay. The rooftop lounge was excellent.

Rooftop bar and pool area was very cool. Continental breakfast was an overcrowded hot mess. Beds were pretty comfortable and the overall vibe is a party.

Hello. We like location and room was clean however the window air conditioning units were not efficient. They were either too cold or too hot, very loud. We were on the city side view and our room was on the main street. It was very loud.

Staff was great! Explained some of the additional happenings in the hotel. Recommended some nice restaurants. Being able to walk the river and take in the atmosphere was very nice. There is public parking and you pay the daily rate. Nice room amenities and the breakfast had the staples you would normally get in the chain.

This property has a great location on historic River Street, so it’s an easy walk to lots of evening food & entertainment options. The hotel’s roof top entertainment was nice, and the rooms and public spaces are very nice. We just wish parking was easier and not so costly—perhaps offer a discount for hotel guests using the public parking garage across from the hotel.

We had the King suite on the eighth floor and it was a great room kitchen, living room,bedroom ,bathroom.

The location was great for walking or using the free shuttle service. Using the parking ramp was not easy because nothing was set up for an easy in and out of the hotel. We had to watch carefully for cars pulling in and out for the valet service and it was tricky to walk to the ramp and tough to drive in this part of Savannah.

My husband & I came to visit Savannah for NYE. When we arrived, the lobby was super busy but the staff worked efficiently to get it handled. We loved our spacious room and the location could not be beat. The staff was always so helpful and loved the hotel itself. We look forward to coming back and will definitely stay at Homewood Suites again.

It was good but the AC was too noisy and the elevators were too busy. One of them was out of order during our stay so we had to wait for elevator for long time!

The second-floor room was located right next to the sidewalk and roadway, and the traffic noise was extremely loud continuing throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep. On a positive note, the rooftop pool was great heated and enjoyable

When you have thousands of people a year sleeping in the same bed, it’s going to wear out. the C plug charge in two of the lamps did not work, so you’ll probably need a block. Parking inconvenient in contrast with hotel. Front desk staff, Tiffany & the other two with her were very friendly and helpful. Our balcony door had a makeshift lock and the frame was all bent, just looked janky. Rooftop bar was nice with entertainment. The room was clean, no problems with that. Even though I was put near the elevator, ice machine ( right outside my door), and had an in asked for adjoins room, it was quiet. I heard nothing annoying. If you don’t mind the bed being uncomfortable, this place is just fine. To me personally, the comfort of sleep is very important. If this part is unsatisfactory, that is enough for me to not return, unless I have no choice. It’s not a bad stay, just not a great sleep. : )

Even though I was put near the elevator, ice machine ( right outside my door), and had an in asked for adjoins room, it was quiet. I heard nothing annoying. If you don’t mind the bed being uncomfortable, this place is just fine. To me personally, the comfort of sleep is very important. If this part is unsatisfactory, that is enough for me to not return, unless I have no choice. It’s not a bad stay, just not a great sleep. : )

This is the second time we stayed here and again everything was perfect, staff friendly, room clean, breakfast was excellent, and best of all they are pet friendly so I had my baby with me. We had a river view balcony and even though on River street down away from the activity. Rooftop bar is beautiful, heated pool on the roof, this place lacks nothing, will stay again.

Stayed for the night traveling to Columbia SC from SWFL. Definitely wanted to visit Savannah's Historic area. So glad we booked here.

Excellent location,large rooms compared to competitors.The breakfast is always nice and I loved capping off the night at the rooftop bar. My only complaint would be the $50/valet parking fee (offseason) seems a bit much.

I got sick and needed to go home a day earlier. The hotel and Expedia denied my request to either change my reservation to the day before or to cancel my reservation, blaming each other. I had travel insurance and was still denied! What good is having that? I will never use Expedia or go to that hotel chain again.

Hotel did not have reservation. They were able to give me a room, but cost several hundred more. Construction blocked view and was loud during day. Never received housekeeping for a 4 day stay when front desk stated it was every other day.

I was a bit disappointed with front of the front-of-the-house staff's focus. Upon arrival, I was stuck in the car due to a car blocking the roundabout, and the same thing occurred on the day I left for the airport- the Uber driver had to back out of the driveway. The staff did not acknowledge my presence, as they were too busy talking quite loudly to their colleagues. I had to get a downgrade because I was placed in a room on the 2nd floor. Where the bedroom window aligns with the street and road pavement. And yet my billing was not adjusted. When I shared that I would not prefer to be that close to the ground as a safety issue, I felt the staff could not care about my safety, and I needed to negotiate to get a room I felt safe in.

I paid extra for a river view room. They gave me a partial view room. Very disappointed. Certain desk staff were cold and indifferent. I won’t stay here again. Will be staying with their neighbor. Thanks.

Then they are currently putting up a flood fall behind the hotel which means they started at 8am with the drilling, so no sleeping in.

The staff that greeted us were very friendly and helpful. The room was really nice and spacious. I splurged for the water view which was disappointing. There is work being done and our view was blocked.

We spent 2 nights, The mattress was very hard firm, we would prefer a softer one. Not the best sleep. Other than that we loved the room with separate kitchen living from bedroom bath.

We were disappointed to be on the 2nd floor and only one window in our suite had a river view. The windows in the sitting room and bedroom looked out on traffic and cars speeding through late into the evening was disturbing.

Our reservation for a 2 queen suite with balcony was unavailable when we checked in 10/17/2025. The desk agent Manny hustled us to a building next door while my sister pushed the luggage cart behind us. The only thing we were told was this other front desk would help us … then Manny disappeared. The new hotel did not have a suite and we now needed to pay the nightly rate of their choice for a regular room. No mention of a refund from Homewood Suites was mentioned and now there’s 2 hotel charges on my credit card. The next day we went back to talk to Tiffany, the manager at Homewood. She knew nothing about our situation. Eventually we were given future 2 complimentary nights and her sincere apology for the situation which is a great step towards making things right.

Breakfast menu fresh. Nice views of the city and river. Excellent hotel for families. Staff and services/amenities were great. Will definitely come back. The parking was a bit pricey. And I only wish that the industrial/transport trucks would have an alternate route that’s away from the city and hotel, as the engine noise was very loud at times.

I called the front desk to inquire about the admenties I asked a guy named Manny do the hotel have a full kitchen? He was sarcastic and said yes. I drove 4 hours from Atlanta and brought my groceries with me once I got there I learned that there was not a full kitchen a full kitchen it's with a oven the room I had was a kitchenette.I needed to be clear because I was on a budget because I had no full kitchen I couldn't cook in result I had to spend more $ than anticipated. The parking was across 40.00 pee night way to expensive.

Loud, late night party in adjoining room and front desk staff member was annoyed that we complained to her, saying what did we expect her to do about it? We expected to be able to sleep, actually. This on top of major construction work going on across the street all day every day made the stay pretty unpleasant.

Overall this is a great place to stay and more reasonably priced then the other hotels along the riverfront. The roof top pool was nice with a great view. The rooftop bar staff were friendly and helpful, and the food at the bar was good. We had the pretzels with pimento cheese and the pulled pork sandwich. The rooms are big for a standard 2 qu with balcony. The breakfast was included and had lots of items to choose from, we loved the waffles. The breakfast staff are really friendly and helpful. The valet staff were helpful and friendly. All of the hotel staff were friendly and helpful with the exception of the young man who checked us in at 8:30pm on Sunday. He seemed frustrated with all of my questions, so I stopped asking them even though I had more questions (no one was in line behind us). We were disappointed to find that we had to pay for valet or garage parking. That is my fault, I should have researched that before hand. There is, however, street parking available nearby that is cheaper, and/or free after certain hours.

What could make it even better? Less expensive valet parking. We didn't use it. There are city parking garages that are less expensive and the city garages do not charge on the weekends. 2) Breakfast was yummy but it was the same every day. Changing it up would be nice as well as having a pancake or waffle station. 3) no housekeeping unless you request it. While my husband loved the idea of not worrying about when housekeeping would arrive, I like a daily refresh of towels and light housekeeping. The hotel is not inexpensive, so a perk like this makes me happy. Overall a very nice stay. So many options in Savannah so it pays to do your research.

This property is in a great location. It has a wonderful interior with a rooftop bar, food, pool and dj. Breakfast was good and the rooms are comfortable and well equipped. The only problem was getting unloaded as valet parking is required with a $50.00 a night fee and was terribly backed up the day I arrived. Took forever to get into a spot to get unloaded. Otherwise, a wonderful place.

We experienced many issues: Upon arrival, our room reservation was given away. They found us a room. But, to make matters worse, the staff member who checked us in was noticeably rude and unprofessional. The rooftop pool area was a highlight in theory, but it was closed for 3 out of the 6 days we stayed. Additionally, the water was very cloudy the first two days, so we only had one day where the pool was truly clean and usable. At checkout, I was told I would receive an itemized statement via email. I never received it, despite requesting it multiple times. Since returning home, I’ve reached out to the assistant front office manager several times (three emails and two voicemails), and have not received a single response. That said, I want to sincerely thank the food service staff, who were incredibly kind and attentive to our son with disabilities—we greatly appreciated their warmth and professionalism. I understand that mistakes happen—reservations can be mixed up, and maintenance issues arise. However, the complete lack of follow-up and communication after our stay has left a very negative impression. No apology, no explanation, and no compensation were offered. That alone says a lot about the level of customer service at this location. Unfortunately, I would avoid staying at this location at all costs.

Professional staff and beautiful spacious rooms

It is a close walk to the river. The mattress was not comfortable, and my weekend stay resulted in sleep deprivation and a very sore back, and I do not have back problems. The roof top bar lounge chairs are made of hard, polymer plastic and they are very uncomfortable as well. This acute, physical ailment of back pain detracted from what was to be my relaxing birthday weekend.

Hotel was nice, upon check in they guy was not friendly, nor was the bartender at the rooftop bar. We sat there for a bit and were never acknowledged, Everyone else we dealt with was very pleasant. The location was perfect and valet was amazing.

The “included” breakfast was HORRIBLE! They ran out of everything by 9am. The hot food was cold. We had to eat out the other 2 days. The “clean towel” procedure was also terrible! Room service comes in and cleans your room but they don’t replenish your towels. You want clean towels, you have to go down to the front desk. Really?!? Never heard of this. Other than those things, the room was comfortable and quite nice.

The property itself was great, but we booked months ahead and paid for a king size riverfront room with a balcony, only to check in and it was changed to two doubles with NO VIEW OR BALCONY… and we were not notified. They only offered 50$ restaurant credit. Which ruined my birthday weekend. The beds were horrible and I left with an aching back

We loved our stay here. We parked our car and never got it back out because we could walk everywhere. The hotel was clean and having a kitchen and a balcony were very nice. We used the pool everyday and really enjoyed the live music by the pool at night. We would definitely recommend.

Birthday trip with a friend. King corner suite was just perfect. Room size and kitchen were perfect. The view of the Savannah River was spectacular. RTB and pool was icing on the cake.

I did a lot of research to find this property for our stay. I was under the impression parking was included which was why I chose it. Turns out it was not included and cost us an extra $50 for the day. Also, they do not allow a direct connect to their WiFi like most places. You have to sign up for a free Hilton account. It was loud in the rooms because other guests doors slam shut all night. The room was a nice set up and there was a lot we did like but I think there is room for improvement considering the cost.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! There were a few things that were a little frustrating, such as the beds being rather uncomfortable and the ceiling fan not working, but overall it was very nice. The environment is great, the location is perfect. I do wish that the parking were less cumbersome, but it IS River Street. It would be wonderful to see the Trolley system utilized specifically with the hotel so that visitors have more options for transportation. The rooftop pool and bar were cozy with excellent live music. The breakfast was amazing!

This hotel was very centrally located for everything. It is right on the riverfront. Lots of restaurants a quick walk away. The breakfast was fantastic with very friendly workers. They have a person to help you book whatever tours you are interested in. The only part we did not like was that they did not clean your room everyday. We were there for five nights and they only voluntarily cleaned it once. We did go down to the front desk and request a second cleaning which was done with no problem. With the price we paid for 5 nights, $1600, I expect daily cleaning. Otherwise it was a great hotel and location. They are building a new hotel next door so that does get a bit noisy at times.

We arrived. Valet was knowledgeable about everything I had to do before I was provided service with them. The aesthetic was beautiful from the inside. The front desk was very helpful. Room -Kingsize bed with river view- was big, clean and spacious. I was happy to sleep on the comfortable bed. Many amenities. Roof top bar with happy hour are reasonable. Nice menu. Wonderful view. Small but spacious gym. Dumbbells and treadmill. Maybe more. I’m unsure. My favorite part was breakfast. Because of the breakfast staff that morning was able to help me with everything I needed! Without any judgment, they helped me and figured out all my needs. Swift processes leaving. Use the link to get your car. Can’t wait to come back someday!

Our suite was very spacious and clean. We only stayed one night but could have easily spent more time there to use all the amenities in the room. It is conveniently located to the historic district and easily walkable to all the key sights.

The first day we arrived, we sat our bags down, I immediately removed my shoes, walked across the floor & felt something get stuck to the bottom of my foot. I looked at my foot and discovered that I had stepped on a fake fingernail (on the carpet beside the loveseat) that was stuck to the bottom of my toe! Yuck!! Also, there was a towel hook barely hanging on the wall in the shower area. All employees and staff were very friendly. The free Breakfast “buffet” was subpar. Disappointing. Will not stay at this location again in the future due to cost mainly, and the lack of decent selection of shopping/restaurants within easy walking distance being limited. We did enjoy the ferry being handy and free to use. The lobby and common areas of the hotel smelled amazing, but our room did not smell nice.

Very nice hotel with an amazing rooftop pool and bar. Noticed some issues that could have been fixed such as broken fan blades in the pool area, a large missing chunk of ceiling above the pool, and some different maintenance problems that occur over time.

It was perfectly located for us to walk to everything. The room was wonderful and we enjoyed ourselves. Individualized greeting on the tv.

For some reason when I booked my stay on Expedia, my reservation wasn’t transferred over into their system. It showed it was booked and then cancelled somehow. Luckily, the front desk staff were happy to help and ensured that I got the room I paid for. The staff were very nice and friendly especially the front desk team members and the valet guys.

I did not like that they did not replace the body wash that was empty from Day 1. Or that we were given limited coffee for the room. Just enough for 1 morning.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Homewood Suites Savannah. Staff was accommodating and friendly we especially liked TJ at the front desk. Sheila D was most helpful in booking our trolly tour. Housekeeping was very responsive. The only disappointment we experienced was the unfriendliness of the bartender on Thursday afternoon. Wasn’t very pleasant just made the drinks and was it was clear he didn’t want to engage beyond that. We are friendly by nature and there was no smile, poor attitude in general by him.
