Fairfield Inn By Marriott Savannah Airport

Flight got delayed and needed a room overnight fast. Price was right and room was clean and bright. Great breakfast too. Staff was super.

The all the staff were friendly. The hotel look clean but dated. It needed a good upgrade. Also, more lighting is need. Our entry ceiling light were out of bulb. It was dark. Breakfast was ok. I like the 24 hours coffee and tea available in the lobby. Bed is soft and high which I like.

Clean. Comfortable. Ice, TV with streaming, microwave, fridge. Free breakfast... All you can ask for. I had a small issue with the shower handle the came off, nothing crazy.

Rooms very clean, staff was very friendly, breakfast served hot and fresh. Free parking and restaurants and shopping outlets less than two miles ..

My entire stay there was very peaceful and I enjoyed the cleanliness and hospitality.The only thing I wasn’t very impressed with was the shower.The water dont come out the way it should and it was very uncomfortable trying to shower.Very poor quality.Also the refrigerator it was leaking and I had to constantly clean it…Other than that everything else was clean and the staff very helpful.

The hotel itself is an outdated Fairfield Inn, although it was at least clean. Unfortunately, the walls are paper thin, and it was very difficult to sleep because of loud neighbors throughout the night. Overall, this stay did not meet expectations, especially for travelers relying on airport transportation.

I stayed in this hotel 2 different nights in 2 different rooms. Both rooms had a musty smell. Both ac/ heater units had buttons that were worn and broken.

Location was convenient to airport and close to many other hotels, a gas station and restaurants. We had two issues with our room, but it was too late to move when we noticed. There was an intermittant clanking noise coming from the a/c unit and one of the light bulbs over the bathroom sink was flickering. Had we been there for more than one night or noticed it earlier, we would have notified management.

Hotel was fine. My husband and I stayed here while visiting Savannah. I used to have a friend that lived in Pooler and have stayed in the area several times (granted it was years ago though.) this was near the airport so it’s a quieter area, so that’s nice. Only about 20 ish mins to downtown Savannah (where parking can be hard to find and it’ll cost ya.)

The Asian lady at the lobby of the hotel was AMAZING.. very fry and approachable.. great job . There are not restaurants close to the hotel . At night was difficult to walk around the freeway to find a place to eat.

We booked this hotel because they had free airport shuttle however when we tried to call them to schedule a pickup when we arrived from PA, the phone rang several times & then hung up. We called 15 times altogether before & after our flight & still no answer. We called corporate to verify our reservation & to find out how we can get ahold of the hotel but they only had the same number we did. They said the shuttle should be outside when we arrived. It was not. We ended up having to call an uber to get us to the hotel. This was at 10:00pm. When we got to the hotel, we told the front desk that we had been trying to call them since 6pm. Corporate never contacted them. They told us that they were having phone issues & would reset it. Meanwhile we were out $15 for our uber. The room was on the first floor by the elevator, ice machine & lounge. We heard everything all night long! The next day, we reported that the light above the sink was flickering, the toilet seat was broken & the body wash was empty. When we came back to our room at the end of the day, nothing was done. Not even a clean up. Saturday night, we got to hear all of the above plus it sounded like furniture was being moved. Not our first time at this property. We always stay there when we travel from NY to Florida. Staff is friendly, it's clean and comfortable and fits our needs. It's close to restaurants and shopping and rates are very reasonable.

We opted for the park, sleep and fly, staying the night before our flight. When we returned we called the hotel for 20 minutes trying to get a shuttle back there from the airport to pick up our car but no one answered the phone so we finally took a cab which cost just as much as it did to leave our car.

great breakfast, great location the hotel was in, fast wifi. clean towels door was jammed during our stay in the room we were in so we had to keep trying a trick to have the door locked so we could leave the room

The carpet was wet from being recently cleaned, the wet carpet made the room very humid and musty which made it impossible to sleep. The AC in the room did not work well at all

I was disappointed could not find an ice machine on second floor??? Floor in room was uneven and squeaky. Shuttle driver was very unfriendly…..hardly spoke, would not help with door to get in or help my wife with door to get out…she is 78 and I’m 86. NOT helpful or pleasant at all….sad!

Marriott hotels rarely disappoint. A good room, reasonable breakfast. Perfect location for the airport No issues to mention

Breakfast was good with sufficient variety. The view of the pond behind the property was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. The hallways needed painting and new carpet. The toilet required a long hold for a complete flush. The front desk lady promised to bring up or send someone with a plunger but never arrived. The exercise room consisted of 3 sad-looking aerobic machines. I expected better from a Fairfield Inn.

Location. Staff universally friendly and helpful. When arrived at hotel we found that the airport shuttle did not start until 9 am, much too late for our early morning flight. That was not apparent on the facilities description page.

We were in a room with disability bath. The only bar in the shower was the one for the shower head. There should at least be two, one across the back and one to get in. There also were no carts to bring in AND out the bags. Not easy for two disabled people. The breakfast wasn't too good either. Very disappointed.

Best if all, close to Sam Snead’s restaurant, where we had our best restaurant meal in ten years at a drop dead reasonable price. We will stop at Fairfield and Sam Snead’s every time we have a chance. We hope it’s often.

We were greeted well and checked in without any issue. The woman at the desk was great, patient and efficient and friendly. We used the shuttle in both directions from and to the airport; and both times, the driver was on time, helpful, and friendly. Worked like a charm.

I called the property before my flight left Boston to see if they have a shuttle bus running when I got to Savannah. Was told no problem, just call them when I landed which I did and was told the shuttle wasn’t available.

Breakfast was adequate , not great. would have liked more fruit choices and maybe a hardboiled egg or two Little grumpy front desk agent . We needed a corkscrew and I have a hard time believing there wasnt one somewhere on the property. We walked down the street to a competitor hotel who opened our bottle for us. She seemed a little bothered by the soccer moms & dads who were partying in the lobby. They wwerent bothering anyone. The kids were cute and having fun and were settled down in time for a decent night sleep.

The staff did not call me as promised when my room was ready for early checkin. Also the shuttle was released by the staff before I got to the door, even though I was 20 minutes early. This caused me to almost miss my flight.

My family and I enjoy traveling and we enjoy staying at a hotel that Clean and well taken care of. Every employee that we met was so very friendly,Kind and helpful. Our room had a musty odor, the toilet seat was loose. The sink had missing stopper. The hair dryer was miss the start button. We had to ask for the bedding to be changed because there was a stain on the comforter. We were a A bit disappointed since the hotel was so nice when we stayed there a few years ago. The Bedding is very comfortable,We slept Well .. We did enjoy a great breakfast and the young man taking care of the meals did a fantastic job. He too was very nice and friendly with us .

After traveling all day, waiting that long for a shuttle to take us 1.7 miles from the airport is unacceptable. The complementary shuttle was one of the reasons we selected this hotel.

Minus points, the wifi connection is intermittent, and the wall doesn't block sound well enough (for some reason there is a connection door towards my neighboring room, so I can hear clearly people next door talking and doing things through the door. The door can be locked on both sides though)

The staff was ultimately unhelpful and lazy. We had to ask several times to get a crib for our baby and we requested the airport shuttle the night before but they “forgot” to mark it down and we got screwed over.

One night stay while traveling north. I was a little concerned given a few negative reviews. I found those to be baseless. The night manager who checked me in was lovely. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the water pressure was great. I slept through breakfast, so can’t comment on that.

Very clean hotel and a great location to the airport. They do require a pretty hefty deposit on your card (mine was $170.00) So be aware of that. The staff could have been a little more polite. The morning staff was rather on the rude side. Our check-in safe was very nice. I would stay here again, if I don thave to deal with the late night or early morning staff person.

This was a simple property that had amazing service and the bed was Soo comfortable. We were greeted when we came in, even though it was so late. Very impressed.

Nice location to be near the airport and highways. Staff is friendly and helpful and breakfast was pretty good, especially the waffles. Cheaper than staying in downtown so if you intend to see things other than the squares of Savanah this is a great option.

There is a breakfast buffet and the gentleman at the front desk was very nice and told me about the hotel amenities and scheduled my morning shuttle ride to the airport.
