Days Inn by Wyndham Savannah Airport

The room was clean, and the rate was cheap. Not too terribly far from downtown Savannah. Be aware that this hotel is in a very industrial part of town and on a busy road with lots of truck traffic. I was frustrated that we were able to book for 2 adults and a child, but then they had no rollaway beds available, yet they let us book only a king bed. The desk clerk was understanding and switched us into a room with two double beds. At night, the crowd hanging around outside was definitely blue-collar guys winding down from a hard day, which is fine; however, I didn't necessarily feel comfortable taking my daughter over to the pool. Fair amount of noise pretty late into the night. Not the worst place we've ever stayed, but certainly won't be staying here again. We got what we paid for.

The room and all the bedding and linens felt completely damp. I believe it was the wall’s air-conditioning unit. It made for a dreadful nights sleep. Additionally, the room had a really funky and almost toxic smell. Wondering if they had used some sort of pest control substance recently. All in all totally yucky.

I enjoyed my stay. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was very very clean. Check in and out was easy. The bed was comfortable. There was a bar and grill literally in the parking lot for convenience if you needed to eat. There were several gas stations and food very close by. The shower had low pressure. The rooms needed a bit of updating. The bar in the parking lot took up a lot of the parking the first night so that was a bit of an issue when we return to our room but not that big of a problem. The only reason that we will never stay at this place again is because at 5:00 a.m. we were awoken with the absolutely worst noise I've ever heard in my life. The staff said that they were testing the Jets next door. It was truly an insane sound at an insane time of day. It is unfortunate that the hotel has no control over that because it was truly a great stay for the money. The other thing that I found very odd was there was coffee cups in the room but no coffee pot.

Beautiful pool that was supposedly closed for the season with no explanation, including you couldn't even sit next to it. Very noisy at night with lots going on outside and in the parking lot.

Price! Clean room. Comfortable place to stay overnight. When we arrived ther was somekind of unpleasant smell in the room possible disinfectants when cleaning the room. Breskfeast was bread buns,hamburgers.

The bathtub backed up but stopper didn't work. No coffee maker. Mini fridge froze everything. Floor turned our feet black. All of which could maybe have been tolerated had we had the access to the pool that we expected based on the pool opening date listed online as well as the fact that it is listed as an available amenity.

- parking directly in front of the room and for free - room and beds were okay, a little old but enough for one night - staff was friendly - the breakfast was not really a breakfast… some muffins, yogurts, bananas and coffee and juice - Savannah is not with public transportation reachable

Dirty, no pool when that was a major selling point, we even had to have our sheets replaced they were filthy and hair and even a dirty sock left in the room. Worst stay ever!!

Renovated older property. Close to airport. Instead of 24 hr reception there was a secure night window. School bus dropped little kids there. Found two bugs. It met my purposes but would not recommend it as a getaway location. Wondered if it was home to some. Came back after day of touring and police were there dealing with some issue upstairs. Did not feel safe at night as I was traveling alone. When there was staff they were polite. Did not eat breakfast there. Would not use it again. Spend more and get a better place in Savannah which is a lovely city.

Didn't eat at the breakfast. The pool looked clean, just normal wear from the years. Was super bummed that it wasn't open, even though it was 80 degrees outside the whole time we were there.

There was availability. I had planned to go to Savannah but forgot to book a hotel. This place had availability, so I booked immediately and received confirmation right away. It was quiet, so we slept without any noise. The coffee at the hotel wasn’t very good. As a coffee lover, I brought my own, but unfortunately there wasn’t a coffee maker in the room. I wish there had been one so I could make my own coffee. Overall, it was fine though.

Very dirty property. Breakfast was minimal. Beds were MAYBE full size no way they were queen sized. Just overall very gross place.

I wish hotels specified, whether or not it’s continental breakfast or actual breakfast… because it really wasn’t anything for breakfast. But the staff was very nice and helpful and the room was spacious and clean.

Television was old and the picture quality very bad, also the remote control was hard to get it to change channels or even to turn on and off.

The location is amazing very close to the airport and Thor $88 a night with taxes at the time that’s a steal Check in is from 3pm and check out is at 11am I dislike that a lot aren’t hotel suppose to be 12 hrs stay at a minimum?

It's a very old hotel in poor condition. Bugs, rested and dirty tub. Not a good area either.

Surprisingly clean. Best motel I have stayed in in a long time. Would stay again. Everything was pretty much hotel quality (minus extra amenities). Safe. In good condition. Spacious room. Reasonable price. The only thing is the bedsheets had penmarks and small stains which I assume did not come off in the wash.

Upon arrival the hotel seemed pretty nice with the bar/lounge in front of the hotel on the water. This is my first experience in a very long time to be an establishment we're smoking is allowed. The towels did not smell fresh by any means. The room was decent but attention to detail definitely is lacking. The bathroom is definitely in need of work. Between mold on the walls in severe cracking in the shower and just dirty all around. The bed So if I didn't thoroughly check for bed bugs but that's definitely something that I always do. The bed frame is disgusting and the power plug is bare wires exposed and completely filthy. The tiny portable coffee makers the one in our room leaked water bad when trying to make coffee and then when I asked for two more coffees because I don't drink decaf I was pretty much accused of trying to steal coffee which he informed me that they will be eliminating those coffee pots in the rooms because I guess people still lives. I'm sorry I have no reason to steal that coffee. I would not entertain the lounge overlooking the water unless you're ready to wreak of cigarette smoke and I mean bad. I played pool and I couldn't get the smell of cigarettes off my hands because those cue sticks were embedded with cigarette smoke. Don't expect for quiet because that's definitely something you're not going to get between the heavy traffic and the front and the thin walls and the slamming doors You will be kept awake. Also the hot water runs out fairly quick.

Not a great place maybe ok for a cheaper hotel near the savannah airport but trucks and planes start at 5 and 6am. Its actually a days inn and kind of sketchy. Bananas and muffins for breakfast and no creamers for the coffee.

We were only there for a night but it was a good experience for the short time we were there. It wasn't the "prettiest" room nor cleanest but I guess that's to be expected for the price and amount of time we were there.

I enjoyed the whole experience so much. Front desk and all services people are very nice! My room is clean and quiet. I love the interior design and calm color of the room. If I visit Savannah next time, I choose this place again!

Cons- shower was one temp- scalding hot, breakfast was mostly prepackaged junk. They did have bananas so I ate those instead. Pool closed at 8pm so there was nothing to do after that time for youth or to do in the area. There is a bar/grill on the property but we didn’t go so I can’t review

While the facilities were old, they were clean and the staff friendly. Our toilet leaked the entire time we were there. We arrived late and noticed the leak and notified the management. We came back that evening and the leak was still not fixed. We had to use a towel around the toilet to keep it from from on the tile out to the sleeping area.

My room was comfortable and quiet. Check in was shoer easy and super quick, and the staff member was friendly. There is a litlle bar/restaurant on site but i did not go for this stay. I will stay here again if i have to fly out somewhere.

Not very clean, the fridge was disgusting, the owners were very nosey, and drug activity right outside the rooms. Couldn't even walk to the front to get a towel without people getting high right on the grass by their room at the hotel.

It felt like it was one of those places people stay week by week. The inside was updated and average. We had one person looking in our window early in the morning. The housekeeper knocked and opened the door at the exact same time even though it was not check out time and we had not checked out. Luckly, we were dressed and just packing.

The manager could invest in a waffle/pancake maker. We were thankful for the breakfast, but it could have been better. Also, the bar and grill could have been somewhere else, the customers took up a lot of the hotel guests parking lot. And should bug spray occasionally, we had lots of insects in our room. Flies, roaches,ect.

Room was absolutely filthy. Was never cleaned during our week stay. Mattress covers and sheets we so bad we went and bought our own. We didn’t bother asking to switch rooms because we saw into other rooms while house keeping had the door open and they were all the same. Every single night there was people outside drinking and being incredibly loud which warranted me having to call the police 2 during our 5 day stay. The included breakfast is laughable. It’s yogurt or pre packaged mini sausage biscuits.

My stay was quiet but the rooms need to be updated. It appears that they started by putting down new floors.

Front desk personnel wasn’t very friendly. We were able to check in early which I appreciated. The room smelled. Not sure what it was but a combination of musty, weed and burn. The free breakfast is packaged pastries, banana and yogurt.

the pool was not open...no shuttle to the airport and the breakfast was soso....nothing hot and no cream or milk for coffee...the staff was very pleasant and helpful

close to the airport and reasonably priced, they do have a pool...but they didn't say that it's closed and you can't even get in to sit around it nor are there any chairs outside it to be able to sit outside anywhere else, breakfast was okay, Hercules' fries were good if you can sit outside to enjoy them otherwise plan to sit in an ashtray

My partner and I stayed for 2 nights and the gentleman at front desk was very helpful and pleasant. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was very comfortable but bathroom needs to have water stain addressed for better cosmetic appearance. Housekeeping didn’t come and towels were left on the door for only one while my room listed two occupants. Otherwise was a good stay no major issues.

Although this property was a few miles away from Pooler Georgia where I was attending a funeral, I chose this one because it had descent reviews. Normally when requesting a smoking room you get nasty rooms. That wasn't the case here. Room was very clean bed was so comfy. Heat and fridge worked properly.Had a good night sleep.Plenty of charging stations for electronics. Friendly staff. Oh and the TV actually worked to. Would definitely recommend this hotel! Especially if you are a smoker. If ever in the area would stay again.

The construction going on was outrageous!! A manhole was literally completely exposed with no warning of any kind to be away of it. No signs telling you how to get in or out of property (no lines to n pavement because it was all dug up!). Many many unsafe conditions to were if not for my passenger, my car would have been damaged!!

The smell of cigarette smoke was constant in the room which was unpleasant. There was no hot water for the shower - the water came out lukewarm every time. The corners of the rooms were not very clean, although the bathroom counter and toilet and bathtub/shower were clean. The "breakfast" was very mediocre - I only ate food from there one time. I would stay there again if I was assured the room did not contain the cigarette smell.

Stay was good. Quiet and the outside was clean. The floor inside the room looked like it hadn't been mopped in weeks.
