Our room had a weird smell but the bed sheets were clean enough. Also, saw a few roaches crawling around at night in the bathroom. A better job can be done to the upkeep of the property.

Front desk staff unfortunately was very short and rude. They tried to get me to pay for two nights even though I had already done so. I had a receipt showing I had already paid and she gave me attitude about it and told me I needed to call customer service. They also charge $25 per night for pets. My puppy is 20lbs and he wasnt even aloud to stay in the room unless we were there so not sure why there is a ridiculous charge. The back door to the hotel jams and we weren't aware of this so we attempted to open it like the instructions say on the door and it got stuck. Front desk yelled at my sister and told her not to do it again as if she knew that would happen. We traveled 12 hours and I dont approve of the way we were treated!

Arrived around 11pm. Pool hours are 10am-10pm so kids were disappointed they could not use the pool or hot tub as we were leaving early in the morning. The rooms appeared to be clean but the smell of mold in both rooms was really strong. There was visible mold in the bathroom on the walls close to the shower. Breakfast area was clean and good selection. Staff was helpful. The hotel itself appeared to be clean and the beds were comfortable and it was pet friendly. The pull out couch has less than a one inch thick mattress and sleeping on it would cause pain even for a child- those are not appropriate bed options... you can feel springs through mattresses. Prices inexpensive but due to strong odor and visible mold I would probably not stay again.

Our room was not cleaned properly. The countertops were not wiped down, the toilet was not washed out and the floor was not swept and mopped. Other than that the stay was wonderful.

The lady at the front desk was very nice. She checked us in and answered all questions. We went to check the room out... i noticed it wasn't what i expected.. I'm not going to mention everything. My children and I did not spend the night..we left.

All in all, 9 out of 10 for value. Half the price of similar size rooms downtown All and all, the stay was great but the maintenance crew needs to step up their game a bit. I noticed quite a few repairs in the room and in the hallways that needed minor attention.

Booked this location by accident and regret it. This location needs to be renovated. The bathroom was dirty tub was stain with plaster falling. floor was sticky and to top it off woke up to chocking cigaret smoke in a non smoking area. left as soon as possible with little sleep.

Breakfast was great. Fresh, hot, and nice variety. Very clean areas throughout the hotel. Rooms very clean and well equipped. Organized well. Quiet as well. Pool was sparkling clean as well as the hot tub. Fitness/gym was also a great accessory. Country Inn’s have been one of my favorite hotel chains for awhile now. NEVER EVER disappoints! Money well spent each and every time. Staff also kind and friendly. Not overbearing or nosy.

Avoid. The competition at this price point typically does a better job. We are done with this chain. They are a far cry from what they used to be.

The room was a nice size, king bed super comfy and modern. The pool and hot tub are also nice. Staff were great, easy check in. Lobby coffee was nice and strong! The breakfast was not great. Eggs too wet and very limited options.

She was very rude I booked a double queen hotel for myself my wife and my children. Just to get there and be told I have to book an extra room because one of my children cannot stay in the room or go drop my child off somewhere else. Long story short I had to spend extra money at a different hotel just so me and my family could have somewhere to lay our hair for the weekend. Her attitude was completely unacceptable and she needs to be working at a zoo not around people. I had a horrible experience I would never. Ever book there again. Not dependable scam artist

There were a couple of small issues that we conveyed to the front desk staff and they helped with. The pool was very cold, but it was unheated. In the room, there had been a leak from the AC and the floor was uneven, it leaked some more on our 2nd night there. Other than these small issues, we really enjoyed the hotel...especially the fresh baked choc. chip cookies! ; ) Thanks so much for making our weekend getaway to Savannah so nice

This was not a 3 star hotel. It was more like a 2 star.

Very noisy. Hotel was virtually empty by we had noisy people above us until 1AM and next to us up at 6AM. Very loud. Hotel staff could give a crap. Staff also recommended the Shell House. Way overpriced for mediocre food. Was served mahi ordered salmon.

Paid $102.33 with my company credit card through my Hotels.com app that I’ve never ran into an issue using before. The receptionist, an older lady, behind the desk ran into an issue checking me in so I had to charge my company credit card about another $90 something dollars, again. I say $90 something because I never received a receipt for the second room, which I will be asked for. The lobby, elevator, hallways - the entire three days you could smell pot and it was AWFUL. 2. The room was horribly hot and stuffy. We would leave for the day and come back to the room being 77 degrees, even through I had the AC set for 69 degrees. 3. The beds and pillows are HORRIBLE. Bring your own pillow if you stay here or risk a bad neck. 4. Burned out light bulbs, and bulbs that flickered and went out during the stay. 5. Broken bathroom door knob. 6. Leaking toilet. Due to the situation that brought us to Savannah, we didn’t have a choice but to stay and endure it but NEVER AGAIN will I stay at a Country Inn and Suites. I’ll sleep in my car first.

This property shows the wear and is not being cleaned well. The property owner does not care about this property, from old water stains on the window blinds to the rust and build up around the shower drains and bathroom drain. A handicap room should have a better stable floor in the shower.

The complaints that we had about the hotel is no working elevator and no heater in the small pool. We stayed on the 3rd floor so it was a good exercise leaving the room. It was only 2 of us so we were able to get all of our items in one visit. If we brought our kids to this hotel, we would ask if the elevator is fixed.

Staff was very polite and had no problem with me grabbing breakfast a little early. Most won’t let you and I leave for work early for this I am extremely grateful. Coffee is great also big plus.

It was too noisy on the morning door slamming and dryer going on and we’re swimming in the pool which says open from 6:00am to 10 :00 pm my daughter went to swim at 10:00 and the reception say it’s not open until 2:00 pm which they didn’t even have a sign to say open it’s specific time in the room smell like smoke even though it was supposed to be a non smoking room and the bed very uncomfortable and it makes lots of noise when you move around

As soon as i walked into the property it smelled like marijuana. The front desk tried to light a candle to get rid of the smell but it was really strong. On the second floor there were kids that were running up and down the hallway being loud. Room was clean, toilet had a hard time flushing. Floor in room was dirty, when you walked barefooted your feet turned black. I would be hard pressed to ever come back to that location.

Everything was great. The pool was heated. The only obstacle was the elevator not working the way it should be. The breakfast bar was great. The room was well-furnished with fresh towels each day. The bed was made up. Teh trash cans were emptied.

Rooms and common areas weren’t really that clean. Dust and debri pushed to corners, underneath areas and dusty. Big areas were clean but not small areas which is concerning.

Good stay for an overnight while traveling. Hotel has some age to it and shows wear & tear. Hot water faucet in bathroom sink needs replacing thus no hot water only hot water was in shower.

All went well after check-in. The couch/sofa was the most uncomfortable place to sit ever.

Ice machine on 3rd floor wasn't working, hot tub was not hot, half the lights and outlets did not work, back of toilet in room 312 would not fill up to flush toilet. Told woman at front desk and she said there was no maintenence till morning. At check out told another woman and she said she knew nothing about it. Men's restroom was out of order. The elevator kept messing up. Arguing between the staff. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE. THE ROOM IS NOT WORTH WHAT I WAS CHARGED FOR. WISH I COULD GET MY MONEY BACK.

None of the housekeeping staff spoke English and were quick to let us know that. There were two American cockroaches in our room and the front desk representatives were either deceptive and unwilling to deliver her promises. Actually lied about our bed linen being changed the entire front desk representatives were unaccommodating, unprofessional fortunately with the exception of the one pm front desk representative that checked us in. WE WILL NOT NEVER RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION TO ANYONE!!!!’

It was a lovely place to stay, the staff was incredible, but the incessant beeping from the construction vehicles made it terribly difficult to relax.

Do not recommend… the hallway our room was on (104) was super dark and dingy, broken glass in the hallway, dead roaches in the room and a few live ones, mold in the shower and in the room itself (woke up sick), strong urine smell in room... Absolutely the worst experience ever.

The facilities were old, small bad, floors were dirty, they have and indoor pool and the elevator floor it was wet all the time . The continental breakfast was not good at all. The place is very old. I would not stay again in that place

Breakfast is very poor. No egg dishes or meats. Only waffles and toast were only warm dishes. Where have you gone Courtyard Inns and Suites.

I was comfortable staying here. It could have been cleaner, especially the bathroom, but overall a fine place to stay for the price.

The front desk lady was so sweet and helpful checking in I didn't get her name but she had pretty colorful hair

Awful breakfast...heavy on carbs, low on protein. Returning from breakfast, bathroom flooded from room above. Desk kamp was a bare bulb...no cover. Staff blase about complaints. HORRIBLE experience

This was the dirtiest hotel I’ve stayed in and it needs updated terribly.

Lovely place

Everything was fine until the last day when staff decided it was okay to constantly knock and barge in to the room for the remaining 3 hours before checking out. Even after explaining that check out was noon, they constantly knocked and walked into the room which was discomforting, frustrating, and also very unsafe. I no longer felt welcome and it kind of ruined what was actually a great weekend and experience.

The first time we stayed here, the room was nice, but it was on the first floor and was very noisy. No biggie, though. The second time, it was a different room, still 1st floor, and unlike the first room, which looked like it had been updated, it is in poor shape. Again, it was very noisy. I asked to be placed on a 2nd or 3rd floor, but was told that the only other room available was second floor right above the lobby (which was an open area) and was told that late check-ins would be just as noisy as people playing soccer down the 1st floor hall. The room itself was just old. The bathroom door was splintering horribly, there was broken tiles in the room and I’m not sure how clean the bathtub was, as it was very stained. The shower head sprayed out all over everywhere. Shampoo, conditioner and body lotion were provided, which was nice. There were stains on the window shades, which really need to be replaced. The air worked very well and the breakfast provided in the morning was really good. I am hopeful that the room will be updated soon as there was a sign that stated they were renovating. This room needs to be updated SOON!! It was a good price, but I’m not sure if we would stay there again.

If you’re warm natured and like to stay cool this might not be the best option. The property is older and showing its age. The room was cold enough when we first checked in but didn’t really stay that way and the common areas were warm and stuffy. That being said it was relatively comfortable and spacious. Not many places still offer a hot breakfast (the competition is just “grab and go”) so I really appreciated the waffle but “hot” translates to waffles and things that can be toasted.

Not Good experience. The bathroom was not clean and the shower has high force and splash water all over. No way it is usable and it is evident that it is long term issue, the bathroom door was full of mold, ripped and peeling away. when complained the staff didn't take a note or acknowledge. I dont understand how this hotel has 3 stars, given its rooms, hallways are narrow and basic. not comparable to Holiday Inn which is another 3 start hotel nearby. However this is in good Location, the bed was clean and comfortable. The first staff was nice.

Staff knew about the local tour company and called to have them pick us up at the front door saving us a 25 minute drive into the city and back. It was a wonderful narrated tour of Savannah. Breakfast is great also.

Several amenities in room not working, plugs, phone, water pressure. I checked out early the clerk didn't inquire about why.

Lots of water damage in the bathroom. Stains on bedding. Not clean

Mold in seams and corners of bathtub. Aged property not maintained. Hairs in bed. Left and lost the non-refundable payment. Preferred cleaner room at another hotel and losing my money. Reviews not accurate. I will be steering away from Expedia reviews in the future.
