    I enjoyed the room, the bed, and the hotel's location. The hotel provided a lackluster continental breakfast. It came with gnats flying around the two plastic juice containers. No eggs, no sausage. Next, I thought there was supposed to be a fitness center. There was not one piece of working equipment. There were no weights. An unplugged, empty water dispersal machine. What equipment was there was covered in dust and BROKEN. I find this was an example of FALSE ADVERTISING!

    There is NO HOT BREAKFAST SERVED HERE! They advertised (as included with your hotel rate) a Hot Breakfast with eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles, oatmeal, cereal, fruits, coffee, tea, orange juice, etc, which is typical of mid-grade hotels. The front desk staff said it was now only provided on Friday's, Saturday's, and Sunday's. We were there Friday morning, and there was no eggs, sausage, potatoes, etc, only cold cereal, juice, coffee & tea. The front desk staff said that hot breakfast was removed by the owner/manager to save money. That's really dishonest to lie about this in the advertisement, and cheap to rip off customers that were expecting a decent (not even fancy) breakfast, at the start of the day. The bedroom was OK, bathroom OK, but the air conditioning struggled on a 80 F day, and the TV wouldn't allow us to log into YouTube TV (our paid subscription for cable TV channels). It did have regular YouTube and NetFlix, as well as some DirectTV channels.

    We had a reservation for five guests, yet the room was stocked with only two tiny bottles of shampoo and virtually no toiletries. We also booked a room that included breakfast, but during Memorial Day weekend the only breakfast options available were coffee, a muffin, and oatmeal. That was far below what we expected for a hotel advertising breakfast included. In addition, the hotel’s location was inconvenient. Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience. Between the poor customer service, lack of basic amenities, and inadequate breakfast, I would not recommend staying here. Save your money and choose another hotel.

    Sorry, but the property is old and needs updating. The beds were comfortable though! Well, first we had a beetle dead in our dressing area on the floor, when we went to get food at 8:30 there was nothing left except waffles and toast. When you say you’re going to have breakfast until 9 o’clock, you need to have a full breakfast for everyone until the last minute.

    Sorry, but the property is old and needs updating. The beds were comfortable though! Well, first we had a beetle dead in our dressing area on the floor, when we went to get food at 8:30 there was nothing left except waffles and toast. When you say you’re going to have breakfast until 9 o’clock, you need to have a full breakfast for everyone until the last minute.

    While the hotel exterior and lobby were freshly renovated, the room itself had very poor lighting. The toilet handle had to be held down until the toilet had flushed completely, and the room smelled of sulfur. The so called breakfast consisted of cereal, toast,or muffins. Only one type of juice, no hot water to make tea, no milk for the cereal. Luckily, there is a grocery store nearby. We wound up leaving after the first night although we were booked for four nights.

    Location and staff Handicap room was a long distance from entryway. Once we got to room and opened the door the smell of sewer was in the room, that never left with bathroom fan on all night. Air conditioner had to be set at 73 to work! Thought that was on the cool side, so turned it up to 75 and it wouldn’t turn on again…. So left it on 73! Also wife said the air coming out of unit was very musty smelling. Our handicap room did not have correct height toilet or grab rails. This room should not be rented out as handicap room! You ever shower with smell of sewer? Went to turn bed down and found a huge roach! Not the smoking kind but a creepy crawler! I kept that away from my wife, we would have changed rooms. The state of this one didn’t leave hope of cleaner room! Well we made it through the night,well almost, 5:00 am all the workers that stay there were getting ready for work and didn’t care that other people were staying there too! Slamming doors and sound of ice machine next to our room made sure we were awake! Went to breakfast at 8:30 am there really wasn’t a free breakfast. So I got two coffees to take back to room. Well they were cold! Not lukewarm but cold! This is the first Baymont that we have had a bad experience at!

    I enjoyed the ease of booking and finding the hotel. There is easy parking, rolling carts to take luggage to the room, free breakfast and a free shuttle to downtown Savannah 3 days out of the week. Rooms were clean and well appointed with a microwave, small fridge, and hairdryer. Breakfast was heavy on carbs with prepackaged muffins, cereal, toast, bagels and a make it yourself waffle station. They did have some fresh fruit and yogurt available as well. Staff were friendly and and helpful. I did notice a slightly musty oldish smell in the 3rd floor hallway so while it appeared clean, it would benefit from a daily application of Fabreeze or some such air freshener. I also found a single silverfish in the tub and mentioned it to the cleaner. Otherwise the room was immaculate and comfortable. I've had them appear out of nowhere in my own home on occasion and keep a bug free place.

    Parking was easy. Parking area around hotel was dirty with trash. Staff were very pleasant and efficient. Breakfast was over too early on the weekend (9:00 a.m.) and since we were in Savannah for music and our evenings went a little long (also the reason that we chose this hotel, due to the vicinity of the venue, which was good), there was no breakfast at 9:15 a.m. We had to even ask for coffee. Room was basic but clean and ample for our needs.

    They were in the middle of remodeling. Times when we had all sorts of furniture in the hall to our room. Loud banging on walls. I understand the remodeling process. But we should have been placed in a room where none of that was taking place. Guests should have been reserved on the first floor of possible or 3rd. All but where the remodeling construction was

    Hotel attempted to double charge us for a stain in the bed we hadn't slept in. Check out was 11 we was out by 1110. By 1130 they called saying they attempted to wash the sheets. There where multiple beds in room we didn't sleep in the bed wit the stain. So either they A. Didn't wash them before, or B. Had no plans to was them after. Either way that's bad business.

    The property was under renovation so the building was a mess. There were mattress stacked in the hallways. Our bedroom door had duck tape covering the doorway seams. There was also a gap to where we could fit our hand under our door into the hallway. Our bed had a stain on it. Finally, our bathroom towels had multiple strands of black long hair on them. Overall, the place was gross. The breakfast had very limited selection and what they had out they refused to replace with new food if it ran out. We asked for a refund but were denied. They upgraded us to a bigger room but that room still had outlets hanging off the wall and hair in the shower. It’s not in a great part of town despite being a 10 minutes drive from the city. We would not recommend this place to anyone.

    The price. I wasn’t happy with anything else. Oh, the bathroom sink was nice. The hotel is undergoing renovations but put me in a room that was supposedly done. Actually the 1st room they put me in had a smoke alarm going off every minute due to the batteries. The next room had a brand new sink in the bathroom but the toilet was obviously old - stained with a broken bolt that holds the seat in place, ugh. You may want to try this place down the road after all renovations have been completed - but I won’t. I didn’t like the location either.

    It was a horrible experience and I would like to request for total refund as we checked out the next day. There was renovation going around and the AC in there was broken and bathroom was also unhygienic. Breakfast was okay but not many options were there.     NOTHING! It said non smoking but yet the whole building smelt like an ashtray! There was a stale smell in the room ! The smoke detector was hanging off the wall! The fire sprinkler was not there … just a pipe hanging out the wall! The bathroom smelt like a gym locker room! The tv channels were all preachers except vh1 or mtv and bet… everything else said the tv wasn’t purchased. Customer service was horrible ! Breakfast was cold eggs, room temp oj, coffee and cereal! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! If i could give it a negative rating i would!!! ???

    Room was absolutely disgusting, I asked for a new one and it was just as bad. Bathroom covered in mold, dust and dirt everywhere, cigarette burns in the bedding. The front desk told me that delivery drivers don’t like going to the rooms to deliver because “people are sketchy here”. I was also told by another front desk associate that the rooms are very old and need to be remodeled. Absolutely gross.

    Our king room was clean and spacious. We were conveniently off the elevator next to the fitness room. Housekeeping surprisingly refreshed our room. No coffee in the lobby except at breakfast. Breakfast was poor; powdered eggs, no fresh fruit or yogurt, no choices for bread or muffins. Don't let their website picture fool you. Close to Savannah. Over-all though it was a nice stay.

    Our king room was clean and spacious. We were conveniently off the elevator next to the fitness room. Housekeeping surprisingly refreshed our room. No coffee in the lobby except at breakfast. Breakfast was poor; powdered eggs, no fresh fruit or yogurt, no choices for bread or muffins. Don't let their website picture fool you. Close to Savannah. Over-all though it was a nice stay.

    Everything was excellent after we had to change rooms. The shower didn't work in the first room. The desk clerk immediately put us in a double bed suite. She was very friendly and was on top of everything. The area around was a lttle concerning because people hing around during the nights. But overall, it was well worth the price, quiet and close to SCAD.

    There is an odor in the first part of the room. Broken hair dryer. Smelled cig smoke this morning. Loud speaking early in the morning woke me up. Roofers came in and loaded our breakfast items away. They were not guests! We had no breakfast items yesterday. Had to eat out of our ice chest. No OJ! The nozzles are so moldy especially the apple juice. They don't clean them. They would not pass health dept inspection. The ice machine is broken, no ice. Needs lots of TLC. Not Wyndham standards.

    This is an extremely dated property (maybe 70’s). The furniture is marred and scuffed. The walls are dirty and the toothpaste cap in the sink hole was a lovely touch. When I heard the name Wyndham, I thought upscale, but this is worse than a roadside inn. I cannot believe I spent $250 for two nights. No conditioner, just the tiniest dove shampoo, dove lotion, dove soap bar and one makeup wipe. According to the sign they clean the rooms every three days, but that soap having to be used for both the sink and shower wouldn’t last two days. The dirty sign on the sink says if you forgot normal toiletries to ask at the front desk. These signs should be taken down since they did not have a simple razor. Not sure what toiletries they consider normal. The stains on the brown red carpet are suspicious and the lights are all lamps with no switch (all separate switches on them). The TV also had this awful feature that could not be turned off where it would narrate the scene for every show and movie. The front of the tv had a missing piece so I’m guessing someone before us tried to fix it as well. Additionally, though, I paid in full, I still had to put a down payment of $50. Also, we had to sign the same paper twice that was lost 6 hours after we checked in. The key did not work to our room when we came back the first night, which is I am assuming to get us to come to the front desk to sign their paper that they lost since the key worked to get us into the building, but not our room.

I only booked here because of the queen beds. Then I was told I can leave tomorrow and they would refund me two days. This is at 11 at night . Not very happy. Will not stay here again

    We had a 3 night stay and will never stay at a Baymont again. The front desk girl was rude and not welcoming. The room was dirty, bedspread had a stain, towels were wet when we arrived and messed up so it looked like they had been used. Found a live cockroach in room with lights on so who knows how many there were when lights were out. Luckily for us we spent most of our time in Savannah. For the amount of money we were charged for 3 days-$600, would have better off sleeping in our car. Be careful when selecting your hotel and look at the reviews first.

    Place needs some serious updating! The carpet in the room was disgusting and had a funky smell in the room. The 2nd night we were there had a room full of young kids next to us that partied all night! Called the office once but didn’t seem to help. Don’t recommend this place.

    While Savannah is a beautiful city and this hotel was close enough to drive to the River Walk area which was nice, the hotel itself is very old. Service was not very friendly, lobby and food area was not inviting.

    The TV in our room did not work so we had to be moved to another room the first night. The rooms were okay but not enough lights. And I’m not sure what was going on the weekend we were there but there was a strong smell of marijuana.

    I was charged by the Hotel a double fee at check-in. The initial deposit plus an additional unauthorized charge an hour later that showed up on my account. This was unauthorized and the hotel claims it was not them. My bank shows it was charged by the hotel. I’m disputing the charge.

    When you come off the freeway, you are smacked with porta potty dumping station, the train tracks are directly across the street, and we couldn't get i to to check in to our room, the doors were locked, the note on the door gave a # to call, we did, 3 times in 30 min. And no answer. We ended up having to find another hotel. And now we are struggling to get a refund. AVoid this place

    The hotel looked old, area was not great, misleading with historic district - breakfast was not available when we went, told the person at the front desk and they told me to wait until they were done then they microwaved everything like 20 minutes later. Also, not very safe the back door was open to everyone directly to the rooms

    Our bathroom wasn’t the cleanest, but I have to say that the bed was very comfy. This is just an older hotel that needs some TLC but the rooms are fairly large and you do get breakfast. For the money, I’d stay there again.

    The apartment complex next-door was sketchy and had bullet holes in the side of the building. Every morning, when we left our room, we could smell smoke in the hallway. Shuttle transportation that is advertised was not available. Vending machines were out of order. Water pressure in shower was very low. Toilet had pink bacteria ring in it.

    Too pricey to not be cleaner. Disappointed in the room. Carpet throughout is old and musty. Signs state extra cleaning fee if you smoke…..hallway, elevator, and room smelled like smoke. Bathroom was not cleaned at all.

    Front desk staff was not friendly at all, and did not give any details about what the hotel had to offer or the checkout time. At 11:09 the next day I received a phone call from the hotel, saying that checkout time was 11 and that they had been banging on the door and were being ignored. The lady was very rude in insinuating that they were being purposely ignored. We told them that we were in the bathroom, with the shower on and did not hear any knocking. She then proceeded to ask how long we would be bc it was the last room to be cleaned and check out is 11. Although we were never told any time, we were finishing packing to leave anyways bc we assumed around lunch time was check out. We were out 5 minutes later. The phone call was very unprofessional and the person was very rude for the entire phone call, which lasted way longer than it should have. The person was accusing, and repeating the same things over and over. I understand now why this hotel has so many bad reviews on customer service and the people that work there. I hope at least neither person I encountered was a manager. They need to be retrained on how to speak to people if they are going to work in customer service.

    This hotel was very average, but that is what I expected for the cost. It was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable, but there were some concerns with the toilet and the furniture was in rough shape.

    This was a last minute booking. The location was about 10 minutes from historic Savanna district. Was an easy drive to the historic district. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable but could do with some updating. The price was reasonable and the breakfast was great.
