Property needs maintenance. There is a nice pool but unfortunately it’s unavailable to use. It was a hot weekend and pool is empty. Bathroom needs to be updated. (Toilet seat was loose) Price was good but you get what you pay for . It’s a great surrounding area however hotel needs an update. I wouldn’t book again. Staff very friendly. It was a one night stay. I came late left early. If I had to stay more than one day I would have asked for another room

HORRIBLE! we arrived after missing our flight people blasting music all night front desk no help bathroom was disgusting dirt and bugs on shower curtains evetything was falling apart water barely hot. I woulda preferred motel 6 tbh.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The room looked nothing like the pictures online it was outdated, dirty. For the price we paid, this experience was completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

For 4-night Memorial Day Weekend stay, they definitely offered a good price, so that's the only major positive. The bed was comfortable, decent bathroom. The basic necessities are there. The one major disappointment was that the pool was not open. It looks like they don't even bother maintaining it anymore, so it was a bummer that I couldn't take a dip on the last day. The shower knobs and shower head have seen better days, the mini fridge is definitely mini, not much room to put in and no freezer compartment. Coffee maker only had decaf, and the filter compartment was dirty, so I didn't bother making any in my room. They were very strict about leaving stains on the bed and taking it out out of the deposit if there is one, so I had to buy stain remover in case I do leave any. Also the Wi-Fi is very restrictive, I understand if you want guests with kids to stay away from certain sites, but that's what built-in parental controls are for. This is the first and last time I'll ever stay here.

I didn't like the fact that the room had stains on the couch and the bed and also it smelled like cigarette inside the room. It didn't look clean and the staff was very unhelpful, did not resolve anything. I ended up not staying there and they did not want to give me a refund. Do not stay here, I do not recommend it. And if you try calling them, they will never answer their phone.

the property up front was clean. 1 thing I did not like was that there were people smoking marijuana in the common area. it stank up the whole area. could not keep the window open to air out the room. on my last night there, I got it after lobby hours, neither of my key cards would open the door. I called the after hours number but no one called. there were 3 people having issues at that time, all attempting to contact the after hours personnel. I went back to the room, swiped and swiped until I got the door to open, sometime after midnight. the green light was no longer flashing to let you know the key card swipe was properly read.

Other than that it was clean and quiet with a comfortable bed.

The size of the room with the dirty and frayed carpet. Staff are amongst the most non-hospitable people I've ever met in my life. And one day they can be very nice and the next day they can be discriminating against you telling me that you cannot rent there the power tripper was small bent minds.

I just had to keep adding an additional day stay until really needed to come home. Staff was so friendly, and helpful. Lots walking distance. Was so lucky to find this place when my ride from the Amtrak did not show up do to miscommunication. I stayed in the king suit next stay I’m getting that jacuzzi.

There was a nice blonde lady who was great. Helped me out and made me feel welcome. Then there was a Hispanic gentleman who was not a gentleman at all. I been there two times and both times he was the same. He is the reason I will not go back there.

If you try to unplug a light and it shorted out the refrigerator and microwave so all my food that was in there went bad. The refrigerator kicked on later and he kept shutting itself off. Did not find that out until when we got back in the room at night time cause we checked and dropped our stuff off and left and we got back around 1 o’clock in the morning at which point I could not heat up my food because the microwave did not want to turn on and in the morning when I took a shower, there was disposable razor caps at the bottom The property was nice on the outside horrible on the inside because they were remodeling put us in a room with faulty wiring as well as a dirty shower. Parking is limited so the less cars the better. The restaurant at front is really good(if you don’t speak Spanish a translator app works well). The staff was easy to get a hold of for items we needed and the room was ready clean

Functionality was a major failure. There are no elevators, and the refrigerator, coffee maker, and microwave were all set on a table that wasn’t even plugged into an outlet—the cord was about three feet short. As a result, none of the appliances were usable. Expecting guests to move a bulky microwave onto the floor just to plug it in is simply not practical.

Parking was easy, staff was very nice! Room structure was a little odd, the bathroom sink was in the living room. But great stay for what we needed.

There was a dead cockroach in the fridge! Towels were changed once in four days. And all this for $150 per night! Terrible!

Loud at night due to music fr the restaurant that is within the hotel property. we cannot sleep until the music stops and that is when the restaurant closes at 12 am.

I liked the room itself it was spacious. Check in was super delayed, i booked months before. Arrived at 5:20ish room was not ready. Receptionist said 30 mins, came back past 30 mins and room was not ready and was downgrated to a 2 bedroom with no refund or discount. Checked in close to 7 very dissapointed!

Such a bad odor in parking lot, there were stains on floors, doors, shower walls. Bed sheets were clean. Floor were like not mopped, had to wear shoes or else clean WHITE socks were black from taking few steps. Mini fridge had stains. You can hear upstairs people walking so clearly. Staff were very kind and welcoming. Restaurant right on side of hotel like connected to the side. Parked under tree by dumpster and do not do this because car got absolutely sticky from maple from tree and was a pain to remove. Overall would not stay again but was fine for just sleeping.

The guy running the lobby left for a "personal emergency" and locked the lobby. I had to call some phone number to get a lockbox code for my room key. I had no easy way to check out. The entire area is very poorly kept up, and looks very ghetto for Silicon Valley. I do not recommend, and will not return.

The staff member decided to play a cruel joke on me during checkout. I was rushing to get to the airport to catch an early flight so I needed to check out before 9am. The main reception is closed until 9am and only a little window into the street is open, so I had have to wait outside to finish checkout. I ordered my taxi on the way to reception and immediately proceeded to ask to checkout and requested the return of my $100 cash deposit. The receptionist told me it would take 10-20 to check my room to make sure everything is fine before I could get my deposit. That was obviously a big shocker as normally these things are done very swiftly to not hold a guest for too long. I politely asked if it was possible to do it a little quicker as I was rushing to catch my flight. The guy told me that next time I should pay the deposit by card to avoid this. I said I understand and showed him my phone to let him see that my taxi would arrive in 7 minutes and once again politely asked if my room could be checked a little quicker. (it's a motel, and my room was literally less than 30 seconds away from reception). The guy didn't care. I asked if he could please use the radio to ask a staff member to check it to at least put this matter in motion. He didn't care. He just sat at the computer and did some nonsensical stuff there without any rush. Then got up, went to a different room as I was standing outside in the cold panicking about missing my flight or my taxi arriving and leaving before

MY FRIEND AND I just came inside from smoking a cigarette each, I went to check out and there goes maid lady down towards my room and friend opens door and maid turns around and ruuuuuuns down walkway to office to say it smelled like smoke. C'mon, should know the difference on if room smells or just the people clothes you're in front of. She didn't even walk the room.

First time staying at this hotel. Have to say it was more than I expected. Clean, quiet & most important NO BUGs. Highly recommend.

I would suggest if the management can look into that and ensure that the cleaners are doing their job well in cleaning and clearing of rooms and also if the AC can be fixed and if a ceiling fan as well can be mounted. The garbage as well needs to be cleared and not be dumped by the parking lot. It’s the hotels presentation and how it looks and managed and well taken care of reflects on the owner/management.

A couple maintenance things: the faucets in room 210 were not pressurized correctly. There was also no handsoap. Other than these things, great stay.

The room was only cleaned 2 times the 5 days and 4 nights I was there. There are no rose bushes or any flowers, pool had no water in it, ice machine broken, and never gotthe extra blanket I asked for the second day I was there.

Not a pretty place to stay. We arrived at 3:00 and had to wait 30 minutes to check in because the room wasn't ready. It was a little dirty going to the room. It needs renovation. Bathtub was slippery with no mat; no handlebars to brace yourself, fear of falling. Very stingy with towels and no housekeeping service. Had to call and request fresh towels and wash cloths. I did like that it was located in the middle of where I needed to go, but that's about all.

Friendly front desk. The property was mid-remodel. Beds, sheets, towels, and bathroom clean. But there was a small stain on the ceiling, looked like maybe arterial spray.

I asked for the king suite because i know on Thursday to Saturday the Columbian restaurant is so loud you can't sleep. I paid an extra 10 dollars per night for a worse room. Two lights didn't work. There is what looks like blood on the wall. They don't give you bottles or packets of personal cleaning supplies, they have the plastic dispensers in the shower only. When i tried to use the shampoo the thing fell off. I was praying they wouldn't charge me for breaking it. The bathtub has a jacuzzi type tiny tub as if i would ever let anyone i care about touch more than their feet in there. This must have been a nice place 100 years ago. There wasn't enough plugs for the microwave, the one light that worked, the coffee maker and the fridge, so you must swap between plugs. The parking is one way but you can't drive all the way through and have to make a 20 point turn to leave. They pile garbage on the side you can't drive through. They said they are only renovating one side of the hotel. The pool is full of garbage from the rooms and no water. I seen the maid and asked for service and was told no they don't do it until you leave. Everything felt dirty. On the upside the price is cheap, but don't ever pay for the suite. It's quite until Thursday. Bed is very comfortable. Tv works great. I just need a shower every time i go to leave because it feels gross. It has potential but they don't care about the customers at all. I stay here because it's cheap. Get what you pay for i guess.

There are an insufficient number of outlets in the room. There are no grab bars in the bathroom; upon exiting the shower, water runs out onto the floor and puddles (Dangerous), there is BLACK Mold along the door frame inside of the shower.

At first was waiting over a hour to check in even people left that wanted to get a room as well. Look like hotel is under construction because its was messy in the yard and swimming pool out of service. The room was super hot and ac was not working and room didn't have no microwave tv wasn't working. The carpet was dirty it looks like they don't have a good vacuum. I really feel like my stay was horrible couldn't sleep good and my kids complaining about room too hot and had trouble putting them to bed.

This place looks to be under major construction mattress furniture full in court yard. Should not be open.

Had a very ugly smell. Checked in left for the afternoon and then when we came back, the bathtub was full of water. I don’t know where the water came from 11 o’clock at night. I had to call the front desk to get another room that room also had a horrible smell The swimming pool and the yard were full of mattresses pictures desks chairs you name it whatever was in rooms it was all stored in the middle of the yard, and the landscaping was not taken care of would not return to this place

First, no one is available after 11:59pm if you need assistance or arrive very late for a check in. Second, upon checking in, the room I booked 2 for nights was unavailable. The guy at the front desk offered me an upgrade. (If this was an upgrade, I would have hated to see the room I booked) Third, as I began walking toward my room, I noticed the pool in the courtyard was empty, it was gated, and there was a lot of furniture surrounding the pool. I walked further and noticed a monstrosity. A ton of hotel room furniture sitting outside on the courtyard floor. It was a complete mess (please see attached photos below) photos were taken the following day. Furthermore, when I walked into my room I was immediately met with a disturbing smell. It was hot, and I had to leave my room door open along with all windows and AC for a while to allow fresh air into the room. Fourth, there was no phone in my room, along with no smoke detector. (Also in photos below) mind you all, It is illegal for an establishment to rent out a room with no phone and with no smoke detector, as these are essential items for your safety. Fifth, I could clearly hear the television from the room above mine, along with loud footsteps and a very squeaky floor above. The beds were uncomfortable and I had a terrible time trying to sleep. That upstairs TV was literally on all night. I couldn’t get a refund and I did not stay the second night.

Stayed. Here since I had to go back to work the next day and had got off work at 10pm that night, i wanted to have. Goodnight sleep- well the person above me had to worry to sleep until 1 pm- super hard stepping felt like an earth quake- then again at 5- motel has better rooms, its smelled , the bathroom floor was sticky, the ottoman in front of bed was like 2 feet off from bed to the left so unaligned - there was so much clutter in the middle of the building like they are remodeling- but looks so disgusting like these pieces were over 100 years old - all night I was itching and made sure I had a chair to lock the inside if my door - overall the most horrible experience ever !!!

When I checked in at 3:00 no one was there. I waited almost 20 minutes for someone to check me in. The pool had no water in it. My kids wanted to swim. Most of the rooms were closed and the furniture was out in the hallways.

Customer No Service ...Waited in lobby & Calling there Number 14 min for some one to come check us in at 8;00 pm. Had issue TV not working called numerous calls they finely called back . To be able to get Wi-fi another 15 min to go to lobby to get info. got tired of waiting had to keep calling from room.

The property looks like it may be in the middle of a renovation. The pool area and some of the upstairs corridors are full of old furniture. But the location is good, and prices are reasonable for the location probably because of the renovation. There is also enough parking (probably because of low occupancy because of renovation). Overall rooms are dated but decent. Everything is close by if you have a car, less so if you don't. There is a Colombian restaurant on the property which I liked, as the first time I had Colombian food.

Worst Hotel I have checked in till date, Do not ever book this hotel, Whole hotel smells mold and all linen has mold smell. Shower is not working and no reply from receptionist till 8 AM. No complimentary water provided, though I booked a mobility accessible room, they gave me room on room on 2nd Floor and no lift. At any cost everyone should avoid this hotel. Whole night there were noises adjacent rooms and below rooms.

There was then police activity on the property. Someone was either on parole or probation and the cops came to complete a check on them. The ice machine does not work. The front desk is aware of the issue and does not offer any alternatives. The onsite restaurant plays loud music that you can hear from within the room. Overall unless you are just needing a quick place to sleep after an even at the SAP center, I would not recommend staying here.

The first room i was given was dirty. The second room had a fridge/freezer combo that was under performing. The ice machine is broken, so i had to purchased ice each day. Unfortunately i was not able to keep it cold in the refrigerator. There was police activity on the property and none of the phone numbers online worked to call the front desk.

No microwave plus they gave me a dirty room and the heater wasn't working. The room was cold as a freezer and the front desk clerk was an idiot. Im a disable person and they didn't had rooms on 1st floor. Had me walking up the stairs with my heavy luggage.

This place is super seedy and parking lot is full of drug addicts, homeless, junk cars, a motor home and trash. I’m almost certain this place is occupied by formally unhoused individuals and families and subsidized by the city. Absolute trash, sketchy and dangerous. Never ever ever again will my Mom stay here when she comes to town and Expedia should be ashamed of themselves for offering this place as an option on their site.

Always a good stay it’s quiet even though close to a busy intersection. Close to shops as well as airport.

Pool was empty and closed and I was not informed prior to my trip. I didn’t plan on using the pool this trip but I often travel with my grandkids and the pool is the main attraction.

This building is in a convenient location. You constantly hear music feom the onsite restaurant. The rooms have not been updated at all and seem a bit dusty/dirty. Good A/C.

Three (3) times our room keycards had to be replaced and there was a wakeup call requested for the last day which never occurred. This establishment needs serious upgrades in many different areas.

they showed a complete disregard for safety of my things when i left for an hour, after a two night booking, to find someone had entered my unit, had unlatched the security lock on my window facing the main walkway, and then opened the window for anyone to enter and to take my personal things that were in the room. Don't trust the front desk that your things will be safe. For four years it wasn't a great hotel but it was cheap. After 4 years of a lack of care for the property, I am done. They unlatched the security lock on my window after they entered without any permission (cleaner said i had checked out but that was a lie she could have easily verifited). Don't trust your personal things here in any way as it is clearly unsafe to do so and i clearly dodged a giant bullet.

1 - in 4 years they have never ever cleaned my room 2 - my last check in was for 2 nights. my first morning i left for 1 hour and when i returned someone had entered my unit, unlocked the window security latch, opened the window, and left it open and totally accesible to anyone who wanted to enter my unit! Totallly unacceptable. 3 - when at night at the property and a homeless man exposed himself and staff didn't seem to care no issue. 4 - when the bathtubs almost never worked it wasn't the end of the world either. 5 - when they emptied the pool but provided no discount no big deal. 6 - when they stopped breakfast no big deal. BIG DEAL when i leave for an hour and return to find my personal things exposed to anyone for the taking since the window was unlatched and then opened fully for anyone to enter my unit. I asked for a partial refund and an apology or both. I was only given a lip service apology which means little. YOU CAN DO BETTER! YOUR STAFF CAN DO BETTER! FOUR YEAR CUSTOMER AND IM OUT FOR YOUR TEAMS INCOMPETANCE. If you have valuables, a cell phone, a lap top, cloths, personal things - then take them with you because if your gone for an hour they may have entered your room, unlocked the security latch for window, and opened the window wide for anyone to take anything of yours that they want. I grew up with family businesses. This seems to be a family business- YOU CAN DO BETTER.

The parking structure feels unsafe since it’s close to a street there’s always people there, that are not guests from the hotel.

This was a clean hotel that is close to downtown San Jose. Its close to dinning and shopping.

The room was not very clean needed to be painted the chair was broken and the towels were like little shop rags but the bed was comfortable.

You get what you pay for. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant around the corner was convenient. Only thing, there was someone in the property that had their tv on all night. Very noisy. But it was cheap, and served its purpose.

Low budget no frills but for under a $100 it’s the best of the worst. They even recovered my lost Bose headphones. So I’ll add honest to the list. Best low budget hotel in San Jose.

I love staying at this property so resepectful has a very chill vibe, staff is amazing and it’s our go to hotel when we hit the city!! Definitely recommend!!

Really enjoyed my stay! The staff let me check in 30 minutes early which was really nice. The cleaning staff was super nice! I am bummed the pool isn’t operational but other than that it’s a great stay especially for the price
