I was met with approachable and friendly staff who helped me check in/out. The room I was assigned to was very clean and required all the amenities I needed, including a fridge and microwave! Breakfast in the morning was excellent and complimentary, the kitchen staff has something for everyone. The AC was very nice, too. If I’m ever in the area again, I’m very likely to stay at the Fairfield near the airport.

Room on the inside was clean, except the comforter seemed to be stained a bit, however, the balcony was not cleaned. Empty cigarette pack and discarded cigarette buds looked pretty bad. Air conditioning worked well. Bathroom layout not ideal. Use of toilet paper difficult to use while on toilet seat. Had to remove toilet paper roll from holder for use. Water pressure was adequate both in sink and shower. Amenities were sufficient as well. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Big negative was the lack of key access on back of hotel access door to get in from parking lot. Making the walk with luggage, not ideal. Warm and cold options for breakfast was adequate. Might suggest staying on second floor if stairs not an issue for you

This hotel was clean, updated and comfortable. Staff are friendly and exceed expectations. The hotel is very close to San Jose Airport and provides a shuttle. I will stay here whenever I am in San Jose.

We really enjoyed our stay. First time at a Fairfield Inn. We did have a lack of sleep situation because of the person right above us. It sounded like the person was going to fall though the ceiling. They were making noise till midnight then woke us up at 4 am it was terrible.

They only do housekeeping every 2 days but the attendants are always around to replace towels, etc. if needed between days. We have stayed here many times before and the shuttle to the airport is great. This time we didn't need to use it.

I loved the hot tub and heated pool. Location was great! Just a few steps from starbucks, pho, pizza, and a very delicious burger joint! My bed was comfy. I appreciate the water pressure in the shower. Love that every room either has a patio or balcony. My second day there. I called room service for extra towels and took over an hr and a half before someone delivered them. I had to call front desk 3x! Also there was a weed joint on the floor next to the sliding door. Also the smoke detector was cover with plastic for some reason. I did tell front desk when I left.

Room comfort, breakfast choices (dairy free and gluten free options), close to airport with free shuttle service (but you have to reserve it in advance) We scheduled our shuttle service to go back to the airport. The shuttle driver was ten minutes late. Not a big deal, but I think the service should be more accurate with time.

My room was great. I like that there's a sink outside the actual bath room and there's also a sink in the bathroom. I appreciate that the manager heard me when I said that I prefer a room away from kids. I don't like waking up to screaming of any kind. The grounds are well-maintained.

Clean room. Appreciated the security guard in lobby since the area around the airport felt a little rough, but then they let Uber eats onto the floors unsupervised. The Uber eats delivery person just randomly knocked on hotel doors.

The hotel is very clean and the front desk gentleman was extremely friendly. I forgot toothpaste, but I called the front and they told me to come to the front desk where they kept it. Thank you!! The room above us had extremely squeaky floors and we couldn’t sleep until they stopped moving around. We could also hear when someone walked past our room. There was no vent in the bathroom, so we had to keep the door ajar to keep it from becoming a sauna while showering. Other than that, the stay was nice. I loved having restaurants and Starbucks right out the front door. I also loved that our room was by a side entrance, making leaving and loading extremely easy. Breakfast has great options and the eggs were surprisingly delicious.

My problem is with: 1. The AC smelled really bad! There was a bad smell coming out of the AC. 2. Although I was asked at check-in if I wanted my room to be cleaned, and I said YES, no one cleaned my room, and did not change the towels. Another thing is that the breakfast lacks some vegetables.

Had to wait for a room to be ready until 3:25 pm. Hotel was not even crowded, wasn’t to sure if it was just intentional because front desk clerk changed shift and didn’t even communicate with the incoming clerk that I was waiting.

Fairly quick on shuttle. Had dinner at Casino next door as late. Fun! Big regret was not asking for an inner facing room as the courtyard is beautiful. You can use and relax in the garden and pool though. I was disappointed as I chose this out of many hotels at the airport for this view from balcony!

It’s close to the airport, dining and I felt safe. The hotel itself had friendly staff and the place was very clean.

The stay was fine. The staff was indifferent for the most part. We did loose power for a few hours on Sunday evening and the staff was basically “not our fault, they didn’t tell us” so lacked basic customer service skills.

I did not like that the dining area was far away. My mom has mobility issues so we did not go to the free breakfast for that reason even though the breakfast was part of why i chose the hotel.

Very spacious rooms and comfortable beds, but the room could’ve been much cleaner (especially the bathrooms and the floors). Free parking and breakfast were a plus, but there’s also a Starbucks across the parking lot which was convenient. Close to freeway as well.

We booked a night for both of us to get rest between two nursing shifts. We ordered a pizza and enjoyed half of it before we fell asleep. We woke up a couple hours later to find ants covering the pizza and snacks we left on the table. The experience completely ruined our food and well deserved rest. We checked in at 4pm and left at 11:30pm, my wife went in a little early for her shift while I slept in the car for a few more hours.

TV had very few channels to watch and they were not the most entertaining ones we see at other hotels. Front desk was no help. Finally the phone in our room did not transmit my voice to the front desk personnel so I had to go all the way down there to talk with them.

Very convenient stay. Enjoyed the pool!

Our reservation included a request for an extra bed, which was offered on the website. When we arrived, the man at the desk said that they didn't have extra beds. It took several trips to the front desk, and raising the issue to a higher level, before they agreed that they do, in fact, have extra beds. It then took 3 hours of them saying, "it's on its way" before we finally got it.

The hotel charge 8 dollars for two bottle water sent to room, however before the sending, service man told customer two bottle water is free for a room.

I got charged twice for the room by the front desk and now have to wait up to 7 business days to get my 150$ back. That leaves me with 7$ to eat till payday.

Check-in took forever. We walked in and had one guest ahead of us. There was one person working the desk and he was answering phones and helping those guests before checking in the guests in line. 20 minutes later, we were checked in with a line of 4-5 families behind us. I asked for a mobile key and he told me to do it in the app. I told him I did and the app told me to let him know. Once we got to the room, I was able to request a mobile key, again. Once again, they told me to go to the front desk. Upon going down, the front desk clerk still couldn’t find the request. Late that night, I noticed the mobile key was magically in my app. The room was okay. Nothing to write home about. I did like having a sliding glass door to allow fresh air in, but our neighbor was a smoker, so that was short lived. On day of checkout, housekeeping came to our door at 11am (checkout is at 12pm), and was ready to turn over our room. Our keys were also deactivated before checkout, so one of us had to stay in the room while hauling our stuff to the car. Would we stay here again? Maybe if there were not other options.

There’s so many places to eat

We stayed to be near our son’s home to visit our grandsons and family. Great location with good breakfast choices and near Starbucks and other small places to eat.

The property was well taken care of. Short drive to the convention center.

Nice and clean

Worst hotel experience I've ever had in 47 years. Had a cockroach in our bathroom.

Overall it's very nice hotel to stay. The AC /heater inside the room was too noisy to sleep for me.

Thank you for the two free bottles of water. If notification to the staff that cleaning is needed, please display that in the room. The breakfast was well cooked and fresh. Thank you! The cards worked. In some hotels, like Holiday Inn, you have to get a second or even a third card. The bed was comfortable. Refrigerator was cold. Microwave worked and easy to operate. Same as the shower. No complicated levers. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash supply was good and no waste. Hair dryer was missing so we called the front desk. The lighting in the room could use improvement. It seemed dim in the room. Perhaps the bulbes needed changing. The parking lot needs more lighting. Coffee is good. Overall a professional facility.

Parking was convenient. Starbucks in plaza was great. Breakfast had so many options and was amazing. Pool was clean. Gym was small and only a few pieces of cardio equipment and weights but we made due with the weights.

Our stay at the Fairfield was very comfortable and accommodating, will stay there again

The hotel offered free shuttle but the driver was not available when they said he would be so the hotel ordered us a complimentary taxi, love staying at this hotel

We enjoyed our stay and loved how Starbucks and other restaurants were just right outside of the hotel.

Arrived at 3:15 and no rooms were ready. They gave me a bottom floor room but we reserved a balcony so we came back an hour later and checked in

Great experience

However the balcony space was disappointingly small, maybe about 2 to 3 feet from door.

We are frequent patrons to this hotel and have always enjoyed our stay. My only concern is guests who are on the 2nd level. Need to be considerate and stop jumping, running and pacing during the late hours Mgr did reach out and apologized and will do their best to address this problem.

Easy to locate, nice size heated pool with hot tub. Good selection for complementary breakfast. Needs better shower pressure, other our stay was really good. Love the proximity to the SJ airport.
