Staff was awesome! Room was clean! It took two people too open the door, it kept getting stuck. The tv did not work, we couldn't change channels. They are doing construction and start very early. The beds in this room were but comfortable. I've stayed here before and had a completely different experience, so maybe this was just an unusual event

Good location for tourist places in San Francisco, younger front desk guy was very nice! Bathroom clean, bed looked good. Love it had fridge. No door latch in the room, parking not best but we got there at a good time so we did get one. Saw guy outside folding laundry and putting towels on floor which was weird.

Comfy beds and good water pressure! Great location and super helpful and nice people in the front desk. I arrived super early and they let me check in earlier and also held my bags after checkout for free. Thank you!! Also they clean your room everyday. My room did smell a little off like pee lowkey but besides that all good. Also walls are thin so you can hear the people next to you and one night the people next to me were BLASTING music at 1 am.

The room was clean, perfect spot it's easy to find restaurants, walking distance to the tourists spots. The parking spot was small but safe. We came early to park our car, but apparently our room was ready so we got to check in early! The staff was really helpful. Overall, great experience

We highly appreciate staff and location, very convenient for moving to any sightseeings nearby even by public transportation. The place is really worth what you pay.

This was a great budget friendly hotel. The location was perfect for walking to the wharf and was right on the bus line. Great to be able to park at the hotel and leave the car to not have to pay for parking. Clean hotel with no bad smells. Felt very safe in this location.

We arrived few hours earlier than check-in time and were allowed to park the car in the hotel parking lot. Same after checkout which saved us all the hassle and parking fees while we explored downtown area. The parking lot is narrow and it can be tricky getting your car out by reversing into oncoming traffic for someone not quite familiar to such driving/parking situations.

For one night it was ok. The bed was big and comfortable. Its fine.

Location is great, room was very quiet despite the busy street nearby, and the staff was kind/helpful. This is probably just me/us, but we like a VERY firm bed and found the mattress a bit spongy. But if you don't like extra firm, you'll be fine.

The hotel is reasonably priced (for San Fran), very well-located (5 minutes from Fisherman's Wharf, 10 from GG Bridge), and has parking right outside of the doors! The room itself was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom was super clean :) Can't ask for much more! The sink/mirror being outside of the toilet/shower area was a little strange, but nothing that "breaks the trip."

Is it fancy? No. Is it a fun little no frills motel? No question. Great location, staff was super helpful. Parking is a premium (and free) but it seems like there’s a spot for each unit. Heads up, back in if possible. Tight squeeze.

This is a very simple, nothing fancy but perfect for those trips where you literally just need a place to rest for a few hrs and shower. Very conveniently located. Staff is super friendly and accommodating.

Parking was a little squishy but manageable

The room was small but very comfortable. The location was great we walked to Fisherman's Wharf, up Lombard Street, biked over the Golden Gate Bridge, it was near a residential area. Parking was a little squishy but manageable

The location can’t be beat. We were able to stay on foot for our entire visit, and know the car was safe in the monitored, free parking. The staff was helpful and able to accommodate an extra night. The room was clean and quiet- so grateful!

Great neighborhood location, on site parking, friendly staff, clean rooms, all at a great price.

The staff was very nice and supportive. Parking lots are included in front of ne rooms. For big cars in busy times it might be necessary to unload luggage before parking as the lots are narrow and the doors not accessible. The rooms made a renovated impression and everything worked well. Located at Lombard street, the docks can be reached by walking easily. We had a nice stay and would come back.

I have stayed here before, and I had a great experience. Everything was I as required, except for the wifi. Very clean. Very secure. I helped one of my fellow travelers park their large truck, and they were very nice, as was the property manager. Great people. Manager also gave me an extra 1/2 hour to check out when I needed that grace, So, thanks to him as well. Over all a very pleasant stay. As mentioned above, the WIFI at this time is/was not good. But the TV was just fine.

Clean and spacious room. Near several different bus lines. Room was clean. Location was great for exploring san francisco. We didnt have a car and were fine. Walking distance to a Safeway and tona park with a nice playground. Not much of a neighborhood feel. You can't just walk out and explore . Need to take the bus to get to cafes/restaurants. There was an issue at check it - booking charged us for the reservation, but for some reason the funds weren't being released to the hotel. I had to wait for over an hour with a toddler in the non air-conditioned lobby (it was like 85 that day) while the man at the front desk was making various calls. His initial response to the issue was to have me call booking.com. rather than do it himself. They just ended up putting me on hold an calling him anyway. After over an hour, the issue still wasnt sorted, but luckily the booking representative convinced them to let me check in. I wouldn't come here again traveling with kids. It was obvious that I had paid and the hotel could even see that I had. I was forced to wait while they figured out their issue with booking.com.

We got in hours before check in and was allowed to park in the complimentary parking lot to walk around and check out the area while waiting for the 3 o'clock check in time.

FIX THE IVE MACHINE!

Nothing, because when someone has continuously pounded the floor which is your ceiling,you stop being optimistic and happy about everything. How even when I asked for a discount the only thing the guy at the front desk said is ,yeah, I'll see what she says about banging on your ceiling so loud that you wake up every night. So are you going to book again ?

It's close to my favorite spots: GGB, Palace of Fine Arts, etc. Small sink/counter space. It wasn't bad, I just like bigger spaces.

General location / part of the city. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Check in was easy. The hotel is easy to find. It's a well-maintained but still pretty dated hotel / motel. So, don't expect anything extraordinary. It's quite noisy (Lombard street traffic if you want to keep your windows open even if you room is not immediately on Lombard). But the windows are sound proof os you can shut them and use the A/C for air.

So overall this is a good place to stay if you're just looking for a bed. But I do think it's in need of an update overall. The carpet smelled dingy, the tv had no remote, the showerhead was full of calcium, and the stairway area smelled like pee. But the area was quiet and my neighbors did not make noise. It could use brighter lights and better furniture as well. Overall I don't regret staying here but the staff could make changes that can make the stay so much better

Everything stood out as Fresh New Style with an eye for standards that are first class. Walking into our room was like sliding into a jacuzzi after spending all day on the slopes. We breathed a collective, "Ahhh", as the sensation of soft warm comfort a ffluffy blanket fresh from the dryer brings. In one word, immaculate." A++

This motel is right in downtown San Fran. We felt safe and it was close to everything. You would have to drive though as it’s not right by the water even though it’s named Seaside Inn. Clean which is important to us. Know where you’re going when driving around San Fran and be sure to do the original cable car.

My room was not clean. The pillows had hair and some stain and dirt, the restroom didn't work well, there was a water leak. The location was amazing. It's nice to have the parking included but it is also a challenge because it's first come first serve and there are not enough spots in the parking lot. In general the hotel needs better cleaning.

The parking lot is only one way, so if you don’t feel comfortable backing out, park near the front of the lot. Beware that you’ll be having to back out onto Lombard street, which is incredibly busy. When I arrived, it was only 30 mins prior to check in time. When I was finally able to get inside of the lobby, there was another guest in there complaining about bed bugs. Not a great first impression. After she left, I was told I couldn’t get into my room for another 30 minutes because they were still being cleaned. That is fair. Came back at 3 to get my room key and was told that my room still wasn’t ready. I asked how long until it would be ready and I was told another hour or more. I had to explain to the front office attendant that wouldn’t work for me, as I had booked the hotel and expected to check in at 3 because I had somewhere I needed to be and needed to get ready to be there in my room. I was given a room fairly quickly after that, which I do appreciate, but it was much smaller than the room I booked and paid for. I was sharing this room with my teenage daughter and it was very cramped for both of us. The bathroom had an odd smell. Walls were super thin and you could hear everything through them. Checked for bed bugs and didn’t see anything, thankfully. Probably wouldn’t stay here again though.

The staff was very personable and helpful. The bed and room were adequate. However, it took an inordinate amount of time to get hot water, and the room was noisy from the guests above me and next to me. Also, the door needs weatherstripping, as a chilly draft occurred during my whole stay.

Inexpensive given starred hotels almost 10x more due to a major conference but perfectly fine, and a nice location for coffee and food, plus parking. There are 6 or more similar small motels along Lombard, all looked well-kept but I know this one is!

Was told when booked that I would pay there. Wanted to use an alternative pay method but was told they already charged me. Stepped into room took of my shoes and the whole floor was wet and my white socks became absolutely dirty from the floor. Ice machine was broken so no available ice. Very noisy hotel can hear everyone’s conversation.

I like it was very convenient to a lot of the restaurants and water. The room did have a weird smell. I had to keep the door open to air it out.

The room was small and had a funky mildew smell when we got there. The check in and check out was very easy even though the front desk lady seem upset cause we checked in at 1 in the morning, they advertise check in 3pm and there is no end time. We where driving and couldn’t get there sooner. On the plus side it was conveniently close to everything. 5 minutes away from everything!

Location was good near to restaurant bar areas. Only downside was the walls with paper thin and bathroom needs upgrade. Staff are excellent and being walking distance (20 mins) to the wharf area was handy

I’m bummed that the outlet by the bed I charged my phone in overnight melted my cable, rendering my extra battery pack unusable and I missed getting photos of my daughter’s race finish because my phone died. Overall, would recommend this hotel.

Had an amazing time! The inside surprised my fiance and I because it did not match the look of the outside. It was close to a lot of food spots and easy to catch a bus or an Uber from. The only downside for us was the parking lot but that was a small detail compared to the amazing service we got!

The room was small but comfortable. We were out most of the time. The beds were comfortable and the manager was very nice. Two small issues were a metal box under one of the beds that we could not move back that impeded our way and the window blinds, while OK for privacy, let light into the room at night.

The place not too bad. Bad part of this was the insulation between floors. I can hear people from top floor talking and every step they walked. We could not have a good rest. The office smell like someone just opened a bag of curry. The owner pretend she was not the owner.

This tiny motel has parking, and is very affordable, which is why I stayed there! As a female, solo traveler, I didn't want to be walking alone at night to a neighborhood parking lot without knowing how far it would be, so this was the one. Turns out it's a safe area, a great neighborhood, close to so many places. I'm looking forward to staying here again and walking everywhere! To my surprise, the room was fine, very small, but I expected that from the photos, clean, with a great shower and a comfortable bed. The proprietor was friendly and helpful when the TV wouldn't work. Only a few things could be better. A dresser drawer kept opening on its own...probably a simple repair...and the nice sized bed took up all of the space, so there's no room for a table next to it, and my phone charger kept falling out of the wall socket. Minor inconveniences. I'll be back!

The hotel was surprisingly quiet. I wish the beds were queen size instead of double. The location was close to everything. Great, friendly service and the area felt safe. Love the free parking but awkward to get out of.

Great place to stay. Clean economically priced and good location. The only drawback was clerk forgot to let me know how to activate shower so I had to get dressed and find out. Now that I know I would definitely use them again on my next trip.

Bathroom door wouldn’t close, each lamp had a different colored light, pillows were smaller and uncomfortable. Everything else was good.

It’s a small motel, and could use some updating, but it is in a safe area, perfect for public transportation, free parking, and clean. The owners are very kind.

Friendly front desk staff, clean and convenient with free parking lot (but limited and narrow space). Good value for your money.
