My kitchen tap was unattached. TV wasn’t working. If you want some quiet, this is not the place. Noise from the street is high. The door shut and locked but the seal sit 1/2in away from door jam. Light and noise get in the room. It is cheap, you get what you pay for. Did the job for me as solo traveller.

It is close to lots that San Francisco has to offer The bathrooms could do with an update but the water was nice and hot

Bed bugs!!! My wife got bit up and when we looked in the corner we saw 2 huge bed bugs. Also the blow dryer fell off the wall and bruised the top of my wife’s foot. The place if overall poorly maintained.

Centrally located hotel, clean and comfortable.

Motel is older with some issues with air and plumbing issues, but the location is great. It was quite and the staff were very helpful

Good location Smelt of bleach when you walked in. Mould in the ceiling of the shower and the shower tray looked dirty. Some Stains on the sheets from Not being cleaned properly. The beds had 2 mattresses stacked on top of each other for some weird reason.

Tv broken. Took over an hour for man to come look at it and he didn’t seem interested in helping. Offered to get someone else next day to fix. Eventually I was moved to new room. No drop box for key.

For a place to sleep for the night, its okay, but choose a room farther away from the main street.

It was a great stay. The pillows an bed were very comfortable. The room is quite nice, shower is a decent size, although the fan didn't work in the bathroom, but it was easier enough to just leave the door open to let the steam out. The property is very well maintained and both the people managing the hotel and the maid staff were very kind, friendly, and welcoming. It's the perfect area to be able to walk to local coffee shops and restaurants a block over. It's also very close to the Presidio, the Marina with Crissy Fields, and The Palace of Fine Arts. We enjoyed our stay at Presidio Parkway Inn. Our only suggestion would be putting a full length mirror in the rooms for guest use.

Good location, parking and value for money. We were always able to park, otherwise you van park on the side of the street. Noise from the street. You can hear every car, I suggest that you bring ear plugs.

GREAT location for using public transportation to get all over SF. Lots of food options nearby. Reasonable rates. Didn't use AC, room was clean, nothing extra or special but very functional. The beds were VERY comfortable!

Location in the heart of the marina bed was fairly comfortable shower work well The main problem is the property smells like marijuana and I’m not talking occasionally the whole time I was there I smelled it even in my room at 8:30 in the morning it had a strong smell of marijuana. I don’t know if it’s a long-term guest or just a temporary guest, but someone was smoking a lot of pot ..when I checked out the whole property was smelling like it was in a cloud of marijuana really unpleasant. It’s noisy,the rooms have thin walls if you have anybody on top of you, it’s gonna sound like a herd of elephants. they give you a tiny piece of soap and there’s no hooks to hang your towels. on the plus side they have a microwave and refrigerator.

Parking was an issue. Have an F150 Truck, didn’t fit in single parking had to take two spots due to angle of spots. First come first serve, not enough spots per room. One night had to pay for public parking. Owner on site very friendly and accommodating with parking issue. Room clean, bathroom extremely small, faucet not caulked/attached to sink so it moved at each use. Missing smoke alarm, exposed wires hanging down from ceiling. Ice maker out of order.

Location and price was ok. Only 10 parking spots but they were free. Other hotels charged extra for parking. Room was clean and beds were comfy. TV was broken. When I inquired he said they are due for a remodel in May. Offered to send maintenance the next day, but we were leaving then. Thought we'll play on our phones instead. Wifi PW did not work. Wasn't worth mentioning since we all had data. Bathroom ceiling fan broken, like a sauna after a shower. I was sweating putting my makeup on in there. Ice machine was broken. He said to use the one across the street. Again said they'll get a new one during remodel. The add said breakfast included but sign on door said, breakfast cancelled as of January 2026. I picked this place to save money but I guess you get what you pay for. I'd recommend if you are just looking for a cheaper place to lay your head, that has free parking, hopefully more things work in your room.

The rooms are comfortable The beds are a bit too high, making it difficult to get on for older people or those with mobility issues. You can hear people in other rooms, which is expected. The room we got had a bathroom leak, the water from the upstairs room would leak down to ours through a crack. The bathroom is small, you had to be inside the shower enclosure to turn on the water or it’d spray down the floor. Parking is first come first serve and very tight

It was close to the areas we wanted to visit It was not sound proof. We were on the second floor and the neighbors upstairs had a party until 2am and you can hear everyone stopping on the floor and laughing. Also can hear them dragging furniture around. The sheets had some cigarette stains. The nightlight shade was old and flaking off

The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was so very friendly and helpful. I will choose them again. There was only maybe 15 parking spots for the entire hotel.

Location, free parking The climate control did not work in the room, it was dirty there was grapes in the sink which was weird, and the cleaning lady kept knocking on the door early I told her in Spanish that I was checking out by 11 but she kept knocking I WAS TRYING TO SLEEP!

Could walk to mels diner for food. I really dont appreciate them advertising that they have complimentary breakfast and then only having coffee and juice. I booked with them to try and save some money on breakfast. I would have went somewhere else with a complimentary breakfast for the same price i paid.

The bath tub was in need of new grout. I wanted to take a nice bubble bath but was turned off by the black grouting , concerned it was mildew. I was in room 224. I also had requested a third floor room but was not given one.

Great location for getting around and plenty of good places to eat! The family owners were super nice and it’s obvious they want to keep improving things. The outside looked a bit tough but room was all renovated, had a super comfy bed and excellent bedding! I would stay again❤️

I enjoyed my check in, front counter guy was super nice. Parking was minimal and very compact. Our AC in room didn’t cool our room, unfortunately. Dust was infiltrated in the AC. The bathroom was the worst part. I didn’t take pictures, but there was black all over the tile and calking which I can only assume was mold. The toilet wasn’t secured to the floor and shook as we stood up. Elevator was interesting but kinda cool. Grab and go breakfast, less than to be desired.

The only downside was the parking. It says on-site parking is available, but when we arrived on the first night, all spots were taken, so we had to park on the street. The second night, we were able to park inside without any issues. Overall, we were very pleased and would definitely stay here again!

This is a good place for the price. Dont expect a Hyatt room and amenities. Its basic but fine if you need a place for a night or two. Theres so much dining options in the immediate area. Walk a few blocks to the Palace of fine arts. Also a couple of bars as well. As for the room I rented for the night, the carpet could use a good shampooing, the bathroom sink was clogged. The mini fridge and microwave work, towels and bed sheets clean. The bed was comfortable. Parking is few and tight. First come first serve. Hope this helps.

Intenté comunicarme con Expedia para ver si era posible cambiarme de hotel sin perder mi dinero, pero me informaron que esa decisión dependía del hotel, ya que su política era de no reembolso. La ubicación es bastante buena y hay fácil acceso a medios de transporte, así que decidí salir a caminar. Al regresar, hablé con el encargado de recepción, quien me dijo que la política de reembolso era de Expedia. Dada la situación, decidí cambiarme de hotel, ya que el olor era demasiado fuerte. Cuando fui a entregar la llave a las 7:30 am, la recepción abría a las 8:00, y dado que el hotel tenía desayuno incluido, si salías a las 6:00 am no podías desayunar. Así que tuve que dejar la llave debajo de la puerta. Asi que si no te importa lo del baño , y solo vas a dormir te puedes quedar , si no debes reconsiderar.

The issues were as follows. Leaking water at bottom of toilet; coffee maker didn’t work; bathroom light was broken, TV didn’t work. I got the TV working by personally rebooting it. I was only staying overnight so it wasn’t a big deal. I let management know about it via phone and email. What really turned me off was I just discovered someone left dirty black socks on the desk chair. I was appalled.

They have 20 rooms and 13 very tight parking places. We had to park on street Sunday night and they did not bother to tell us the sign out front blocked by tree said no parking from 6am to 8am and we received a 97$ ticket. The free breakfast was 2 flavors of packed oatmeal and that was absolutely it for food. We had to switch rooms so to smell and no ac. There was a cigarette burn in the quilt. Our second room was ok but way less than what we expected. But I guess we got what we paid for.

This hotel is in a nice location for access to the golden gate bridge and fisherman's wharf. However many surfaces in the room were splattered and sticky, and they only have 12 tight parking stalls for almost 30 rooms.

Only provides coffee, not tea and only has paper and plastic cups so we went and bought out own mugs from Walgreens. Managed to make tea from the coffee maker. Declined to store our luggage on checkout but the hotel across the road has a storage facility for a reasonable fee. Very close to many good restaurants and cafes, on great bus routes.

Good stay. Hotel was clean and the service was good. Staff was friendly. The only downside to this hotel is that they have a very small parking lot and there are only a handful of parking spaces for the guests. If you don't get a spot you have to hope to find parking on a very busy street.

Tho it doesnt look like much from the outside, the room was clean and the staff were friendly. Very close to bus stops, the Palace of Fine Arts and Golden Gate beach are a short walk away. Restaurants and Walgreens close by.

I really enjoyed my stay in this place. It was clean and comfortable. The area is very convenient depending on what sort of things you want to see in the city. But since this place has parking lot and public transport is great in the city, it was pretty awesome to leave the vehicle in the premises. I would stay in this place again. There's so much to see in the city and this place is walking distance to great places to eat, great neighborhood to walk around, and transportation to different spots in the city.

There's so much to see in the city and this place is walking distance to great places to eat, great neighborhood to walk around, and transportation to different spots in the city.

The owners kept an eyes on the customers every move. They looked through your car after checking in. They fight for the parking with the customer (Because they live at this property). Most of the equipments in the room were broken (iron, iron board, shower door was leaking water all over on the floor when you open it after shower, front door (need to pull/push very hard to close). I fixed the toilet seat when first used. My recommendation for them that they need to hire the professional to maintain the property. Not fixing it by themselves. I have all pictures to proof it. Please show me how to upload the pictures then I will share it here.

This was a great resting place for our 2 night stay in SF. It is located in a great location, walking distance to lots of restaurants, Palace of Fine Arts, and the Marina area. Also close to bus stops which make it super easy to get to all the areas of SF. The place is fairly updated, staff is nice & helpful and considering it is right off the 101 it was surprisingly quiet. My only word of advise is on the parking. It is VERY limited. We got there right at checkin and we're able to get a spot & left our car there for 2 nights. But be warned, if you leave your spot there is a BIG chance you will not have a space when you get back and will have to park on the street or in a garage for addition fees.

It was booked for 5 nights and couldn’t pass the first night. Try to lay down in bed after long drives and just a few minutes my body started to get itchy and it gets worse and worse so I went to the front desk to tell her what was happening and she said I have to wait until tomorrow noon to talk to the manager. I was like how the heck you let me wait until tomorrow noon my body got red rashes all over. And I ended up telling her to call the manager instead of calling health department. And she finally called the manager and I explained what was going on and needed to cancel my stay and they finally refunded my money.

I like that the property is close to San Francisco golden gate, and not too far from the fisherman warf.

All things were good, but the parking situation is a nightmare. If all spaces are filled (and they are!), the only option is to park on the streets, but be careful because at 6:00 AM your car can be towed away because the streets are being cleaned!

We had a 10 day stay. For the money, the room was good, they provided a fridge and a microwave. The floors were newer and the King bed was awesome. I thought the staff was very accommodating. There was parking (very tight however and while we were there, one of the customers had their car hit in the pkg lot seemingly in the middle of the night (not a big hit). The motel was close to many things, which was worth it! The cons were: the shower handle came of the shower, you couldn’t move the shower head and when you opened the small door, all of the water squirted out (not a deal breaker). The hair dryer didn’t work. After 4 days we tried to watch the TV, it didn’t work, the staff had a handyman come in and he couldn’t fix it, they eventually changed our room. That TV worked for an hour, then stopped. It wasn’t worth complaining about. The Bathroom had a tub and no more water leakage issue. The ‘breakfast’ was a pastry, good coffee though :). All in all, I would probably check out other places in the area, but, I would go back there.

I will not ever stay there again. They have bed bugs in room 305. when I told the manager about it he just brushed it under the rug.

The property is in a great location, so that’s a plus. But the hotel is terrible, the bed sheets smelled like they never been changed. There was a red stain on my bed sheets! The bathroom had pee all over the walls. There was no cable television... The floor was sticky to walk on… Do not recommend to anybody.

For the price great location, excellent cleanning staff between days, one of the night stand lamps was borkwn as was the nathroom ventilation, was cheaper than most paces in the area though. If you are lookong for a bed to stay at withbfew amenities and spend yoir money on the city itself this is a cheap option that works well

It’s a fun little area just off the coast of San Francisco, there’s a lot of beautiful architecture and wonderful views. Staff was helpful and everything was as it said on paper. Now for the bad, mostly just the people in the area. If you have any pigment people will cross the street when you walk by them and lock their cars until you’re blocks away. Pier 39 is about a 30 minute walk, which was filled with little shops and activities. Other than the residents acting as if they’ve never seen a Mexican couple (and very poorly seasoned fajitas) the trip was absolutely perfect and the location is wonderful.

You can't beat free parking either- it's why I chose this hotel along with the value. Overall, Presidio provided an enjoyable stay. Overall stay was quite nice. Was there for couple hours to sleep. Room 105. Apparently the AC isn't working but I didn't need the AC since it was cold outside. Room was cozy enough. Did book king size room but they ran out so they gave me two beds which was fine.

So we stayed there 3 days and the cleaning lady didn't come to try and clean our room till 7pm, we had left and came back twice and room still not done, they say they have breakfast, but not the case, only coffee, orange juice, and some danishes. The motel itself was ok, very close to Fishermans Wharf and Russian hill

I booked for two days but I’d only stayed for one day can’t stand staying in that hotel please refund my money back to my credit card that I used…

The deposit is high and is not returned as they assure you, you have to be calling your bank

Room had a hole in the wall with a bunch of wires in it. We were given dirty towels with black shoe marks on them. We found a COCKROACH in the shower. When asked if we could get new sheets the only put a new comforter & left the old sheets. (We noticed because the sheet had a hole in it). Blow dryer didn’t work. Knob to turn shower on/hot water kept falling off too. Don’t stay here this place was so horrible.

Excess to the city

We were pleasantly surprised and impressed by the Presidio Inn. It is an older motor court style motel, that has been upgraded nicely. It was clean, and the mattress was one if the best I have ever slept on. We were able to walk to eat and easy ride share to our local destination. The staff was accommodating and responsive. The authentic 1950's elevator only added to the ambiance of the place. Definitely will stay here again.

Pros: clean good size rooms, free parking (first come first serve), elevator, price and location. Cons: no curtains so light come in from the wooden blind slats at windows, NOISY - you hear all the loud outside traffic clear as day. Id probably stay here again if I needed to, id just bring ear plugs and an eye mask. The location and the fact it has parking as huge.
