    Staff was nice but other then that terrible place. Property was filthy and not taken care of. Had to pay extra 10 bucks for the night for parking on property which didnt mind but as soon as I stepped out there was dog crap in spot next to mine. Bed had stains on top blanket and in morning while package spotted cockaroaches walking on wall next to TV in room. Blinds were falling apart and taped to fix!

    Not the fanciest place but it was fine. Staff was nice and helpful. Room could use some updates but it was clean and had what was needed. There is an ice machine on site which made me happy. There is a corner store across the street which was great for snacks and drinks. Nice location close to the Wharf.

    It had handicapped parking. The elevator was broken, the only way up to the rooms was on the stairs carrying our luggage. The stairway was dark. It did not feel safe to me at all.

    The elevator was broken. They didn't have motel shampoo bottles in the rooms. The floor needed a good dust mopping/sweeping. I want to be able to walk barefoot in my room and not get the bedsheets dirty. My beds were not very comfortable. I had rented a room with 2 beds.

    The location is great for getting to the Piers etc. It's an easy walk with a couple of hills on the way back. The walls are very thin so we could hear neighbours but only when they were loud.

    Ok. I booked this with Hotels.com. I never was able to check in. I bought this reservation using the websites " what you see is what you pay" feature. As is noted: ALL FEES AND TAXES INCLUDED!!! I get to the hotel and was informed of a 3-figure deposi: due at check-in! I was apoplectic. I explained where I booked, what the site/booking said, I even pulled up the hotel's OWN website .. None of which showed ANYTHING about a deposit. I didn't have the fee and tbh idk if I would have paid it based on the situation. It was also raining cats and dogs. I was drenched to the bone, including my belongings. And, I lost my license somewhere along the way. The manager wouldn't budge and I was forced to find lodging on the streets. I called the next day to hotels.com, they did their due diligence by calling the property to verify my claims. The property did so and had the temerity to refuse the refund. I kindly let hotels.com who was less than diligent in getting my refund that : 1. I booked with THEM and they were financially responsible. 2. That the entire situation was against California's SB-478; which makes it illegal for property owners booking sites etc to have hidden fees or undisclosed fees that all fees must be included at the time of booking. Hotels.com steel drug their feet when it came time to issue me my refund I had to go through you-know-what and high-water but through it I went. I was disappointed w/ Motel 6 and hotels.com agents and corporate. Disrespected on the whole.

    Location. This is the second time in a row, that after staying in several different motel 6 locations for the last 7 months entirely, to charge me a surprise “deposit”. Even after I have booked and paid for, and arrived at, with my dog and bags. Not one single time has any of the 12 locations (including 4 other businesses) ever done such a thing. Or even mentioned it. Much less before hand. The last location put me in crisis because of it, and I STILL haven’t received the refund, and now this one.

    There was not a working elevator, and all the rooms were not on ground level. The window shutters were screwed shut. No shampoo and conditioner. There were stains and hair on the bed, mold in the bathroom the floor was broken and soft in one area. There was no microwave or fridge in the room. You also have to pay for parking.

    Booking.com claims that off street parking is included but when you get there they tell you it’s not/that the third party website is not correct. It’s on a main street for emergency vehicles so there’s always the sound of sirens at all hours.

No complimentary shower supplies which is fine but some actual towels would be nice. The towels are so small thin and rough and stained I couldn’t even wrap my body and im 104 pounds. Bed sheet/blankets+pillows definitely weren’t replaced (good thing I travel with my own). The people above me were loud all night talking so loud stomping moving stuff back and fourth I tried to complain didn’t work, someone had a big dog in their room that barked all night and woke me up at 6:30am howling til about almost 8..

    They were very rude. They yelled at me. The place was very dirty. Had cockroaches they kept putting people right above me and around me instead of spreading us out a little bit so that we had more privacy. Overall was a very crappy experience would never ever recommend it nor would I return. Honestly you guys should take this off of your app. This should not be an option.

    Convenient location Staff (the younger guy) upcharged even after the booking was confirmed. He charged me for $10 parking. Charged me $35 for 4 people when I booked a quadruple and I explained to him but he still charged me. Asked for a courtesy late check out and another $15 for 1 hour. Basically whatever you pay for now is not the total price, they will come up with an excuse and upcharge once at property.

    It worked for a one-night stay, but there are definitely some drawbacks. The motel is right next to a busy road, and you can hear cars and sirens throughout the night. I slept with headphones playing peaceful music and was still woken up multiple times. Be sure to bring your own shampoo and conditioner, as none are provided. The room itself was very basic—our bathroom mirror was broken, and there was no toilet paper holder, so the roll was just sitting on the back of the toilet. Overall, fine if you just need a place to sleep for the night and aren’t sensitive to noise, but don’t expect much beyond that

    I get it, it’s a motel 6 but I thought maybe it wouldn’t be that bad. We got in, the feel was off.. no smoking in the rooms, so there’s like a smoking party outside, smelled so bad. The rooms reeked of smoke. I felt so bad because the front desk was super nice, the check in was fast and easy but we checked out within 20 mins. I couldn’t handle the smell and the noise, It was just very uncomfortable.

    The room was run down and in unclean. The floors in the bedroom were soft felt like we were going to fall through at any moment. The safety lock on the door was useless as the door jam was broken. Did appear that the room and been cleaned before we checked in.     The room was run down and in unclean. The floors in the bedroom were soft felt like we were going to fall through at any moment. The safety lock on the door was useless as the door jam was broken. Did appear that the room and been cleaned before we checked in.     I called ahead and told the man who answered that I would be there in 20 minutes. When I arrived, the office was empty with a note on the door saying they’d be back in 15 minutes. After at least 20 minutes of standing outside in the sun, a man drove up and got out of his car. After he checked me in, I asked where was the elevator. He said it was broken. I had to ask him to help me up the stairs with my large suitcase. The stairwell reeked of urine. Once in the room, it smelled bad and I saw that it was very grimey and the bedspread was ripped. Also, there was no Kleenex or toilet paper. There was no way I could stay there so I quickly found another motel and called a Lyft and left. Honestly, I couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

    Paper thin walls, no amenities, loud rowdy area, cheap owner never fixes elevator, automatic lights turning on whenever you get up to use the restroom and off in the middle of you shower. No shower water pressure, limited hot water will run out on the second person in the shower. Large room amd comfortable bed is all that is good about it and location. I wouldnt have stayed here if I knew what I know now. I want a refund.

    Overall, this stay was exactly what we needed for a group of 5. Giving a 4 star rating due to the room itself, floorboards were lose, uneven and one of the doors in the room didn’t close/lock. There was a lack of shampoo/conditioner provided but that one is a small detail. Staff was helpful, quick check in/check out process. Very convenient location for the activities we had planned for our trip. Close to the pier, stores & restaurants close by. All in all good stay for us.

I was traveling with a mountain bike going through SF to Oregon. I stopped for a night to rest. Searched for a hotel where I can bring my bike into the rm. which I had on a bike rack on my car,I found this hotel. It had parking which made it very convenient, considering all the hotels around the area charge a lot. I was going to bring my bike into my rm. When I arrived, there was an out of service sign on the hotel elevator. I immediately expressed my concern to the front desk, guy with his blank stare. I’m healing from a total shoulder replacement and it was gonna make it almost impossible for me to haul my bike up two flights of steps. I complained asked if he was going to haul it up for me. Again no reply. last night when I walked to get something to eat I asked the front desk guy if he could just keep an eye on my bike because I couldn’t take it up to my room due to elevator, I got back from dinner, checked on the bike. Woke up this morning and my bike was stolen! The hotel is convenient to fisherman, but a bad area. & I’m from LA there is 11/2” gap under the door that is quite troublesome. Room was ok nothing special with stains on the comforter. I asked about cameras and he said they didn’t have any. I’m lucky my car wasn’t broken into. For a hotel this is unacceptable! Will not be using Expedia anymore! Do not book motel 6.

    The area was located in a rather lower class of people. The TV kept shutting off as well as the room lights. There were no appliances the shower handle was broken, only one half roll of toilet paper for the 4 nights that we were there. Considering I paid well over $1000.00 I expected better. The gentleman at the front desk when we checked in at midnight, was very kind and explained the processes of the hotel very clearly. The neighborhood is noisy. I would not leave anything valuable in your car. The parking situation is a little difficult. You do sometimes have to park two cars in front of each other. It is within walking distance to a couple of great coffee, shops, a market, Ghirardelli Square, and fisherman’s wharf. Overall, I would stay here again. It was great for the price.

    Being within walking distance to the fisherman’s wharf was great but the shower didn’t get warm. The sink where we washed our hands had better water pressure and got hotter than the shower ever did. Beds were comfortable. Room was decently clean. Close to a convenience store.

    There was large dog poop in front of the door. The walls were black with hand prints/dirt. The shower floor hadn't been touched and was black as well. There was dried bloody snot or something on one wall, sheets were stained and had holes. Ten dollar parking fee was not in listing nor was the $100 security deposit. Parking was double stacked so you had to ask for the other car to be moved to get out. Tenants were yelling and fighting throughout the night, gun shots in parking lot. We had no choice to stay as surrounding hotels were booked. No sleep was had. Honestly the worst hotel I've stayed in. Left at first light.

    The man that was working in the office was rude. I needed and extra blanket called front desk he said he didn’t have extra blankets and if I was cold to turn the heater on. I check in with 4 ppl. 2 adults 2 kids. There was only 2 wash cloth and 3 dry off towels . I called hey can we get 2 wash cloth and 1 dry off towel because there’s was only 2 and 3 . He said no we only provide 2 wash cloth but you can come to the office in 30 mins for the one dry off towel. So I said what you expect 2 ppl to share a wash cloth I’m confused. He replied I don’t know what you will do but if you want the dry off towel come get it but that’s all you will be getting. I’ve been to cheap hotels/ motels and never been refused extra towels or blanket unless of course you have more pool in the room other than what you reserve for. The wall where dirty as hell the furniture was dirty such the couch. Horrible service since the moment I walked in the door.

    The property itself was fine for exactly what we needed. Something convenient, clean and decently priced. The only problem we experienced was there wasn't any towels exchanged or room service unless we requested it and when we asked for additional towels they weren't available and said we had to wait at least 45 min before any would be available. I was told there was a $100 deposit and it was actually charged to my account and I'm waiting for it to be returned still. Overall decent and would probably stay again

    We stayed here for two nights because it is pet friendly. Location is close to everything which made it convenient. Don't expect any other amenities. No shampoo and shower doesnt look like been cleaned.

    At Motel 6 should be ashamed to cost Motel 6 it was the dirtiest staff was the rudest they want to charge me extra for parking cash deposition and wouldn't finish mytowels only every 3 days. I left the garbage cans outside my door upon my return I encountered killed Robin's buckets without liners cuz that was also very rude to my guests

    The linen had cigarette burns and stains. The electric plugs were broken and unsafe. It smelled like urine. No phone, Microwave, fridge or ice. It seems like a area for homeless or prostitution.

    La apariencia y el cuidado de las áreas comunes y habitaciones dejan mucho que desear, escaleras manchadas, problemas de energía eléctrica en la habitación, falta de elementos de aseo en el baño, y lo peor, microondas dañado por algún usuario anterior y al reportar su cambio el que atendió no se tomó ninguna molestia en ayudar y se limitó a decir que no podía hacer nada al respecto... terrible, pésimo servicio al cliente que no sólo paga sino que retienen cargo x depósito en la tarjeta por cualquier eventualidad...y hoy no estoy seguro de que me será devuelto ese dinero...

    Broken glass in stairway it appears people are living here. Clerk was drinking in the parking lot with friends not a safe location bums walked in and out of the parking lot no security guards someone’s window got broken on they’re car overnight and the rooms smelled like mold/bleach and cigarettes. Blankets were stained and appeared to have holes in them and the blinds were broken causing bright led white light into the room all night long. Steer clear of this location but not all motel 6 some are good just not this one

    Rooms smelled of mold and floors were not cleaned sheets were stained and bathroom fan did not work. The faucet handle for shower fell off. The toilet leaked and the room smelled of mold and cigarettes the clerk was very rude at the counter when asked a simple question. While my cat was parked someone vandalized it. I would not use this hotel in the future

    IF YOU SEE THIS COMMENT, STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL. This is not a hotel, but a nest of a group of criminals. They will charge you a deposit of $100 per night, but the deposit will never be refunded, even if they cannot provide any evidence of item damage. I hope you won't suffer this.

    Not so good. Their website shows a Refrigerator and microwave but not. I always had to catch housekeeping for things as simple as towels and toilet paper. They never changed the sheets. Better , cheaper places a bock or two away so I moved to them. Plus, they haven’t returned my room deposit yet.

    where else would be. Good hotel that you can do all the things in this central location of SF with all action availability is the fisherman's Warf, Coit tower, winding road, north beach has lots of famous things, union square/or street areas.

    Our sheets on the bed had dirty dog prints all over them! When I went to tell them he accused my dog!! The prints were huge and I have a small dog! The solution was him offering me one sheet!! It took some talking to get a few more from him so I could change the whole bed!! And yes, I had to make our own bed!! The bedspread was a stained sheet as well!!! I’ve never seen such a dirty motel with a person on the desk who couldn’t care less! I should have checked so this is on me…no fridge or microwave! Just an overall horrible experience! I can’t believe Motel 6 allows this place to represent them!!

    My stay here was not by choice but by budgetray availability. The room was dusty; paint and wallpaper was peeling in places and it looked like the sheets were not fresh. A handtowel with cellotape had been used to replace a missing window shutter. I had to ask for towels and they were so badly worn out that they did dry me. One small bar of travel soap provided in packaging and no other toiletries.

    Relatively cheap motel, but the property is a little bit dirty (mold at the bathroom wall, spots on towel/beddings). Will be much nicer if they have more amenities (microwave/refrigerator) and are cleaner. The area is near public transportation, but the room is a little bit small.

    I checked in with them in the morning, yet couple nights before my arrival, I called them to let them know that I will be there late but I will be there, so I got there at around 8am. I could hear them speaking in their language saying that they rented my room because they thought I wasn’t going to show up. So they seemed to quickly figure a random room for me. I got to the room. I got situated in the room and as soon I opened the bathroom, the toilet was full of short dark curly hair, the water wouldn’t go down the sink, the light above the sink was out, the tv screen was broken and no microwave as shown on the website and the room was not swept. I called the office immediately to switch the room, nobody answered (definitely they knew where the call was coming from). I was dead tired after a long flight so I didn’t go down to office and I thought to go down later.and I fell asleep. When I woke up a few hours later just to discover how nasty the shower was. Foam dried up on the wall. Unbelievable how gross it was. I went to the reception to request a room change but how rude of a person he was. Can not believe the way they treat their customers. He refused to change my room. I even requested a room cleaning, I even paid a tip and told the cleaning lady that I would be happy even if she just cleaned the toilet and shower and left the motel to come back only to see the toilet cover down. No cleaning nothing. What a backward set of people run this place. Such a shame.

    Stayed for 2 nights rented 2 rooms tv wasn’t working had to ask the front desk guy to come fix it he did, dirty pillow cases had to ask house keeping to change for both rooms floors were not swept mold in bathrooms should of left but already paid and took deposit house keeping did not even give us clean towels after the first night because you have to request service so one room didn’t have towels what am I paying for at this point ? No microwave parking stalls are very narrow, front desk told me to park in the stall mind you I have van tried to fit in but scrapped my top of the van. 2nd morning at 7am woke up to people fight in their room 112 had to go knock on door for them to keep it down our room was next door people on above were loud then as we are checking out turning in keys I was told not too throw away my trash in the trash can inside off check in office that I needed to walk down to the end of the garage and use the trash cans he wasn’t going to give me a receipt for deposit unless u ask overall just a bad experience never staying there or recommend anyone to stay. Have pictures of the room

    Manager rude, property has fly by the stairs and the stairs has dog pee all over it and by the hallway. Towels were terrible and still dirty. Housekeeping does not speak any English which it was hard to communicate. The room was already damaged as I contacted the Manager to notify him and he said he took notes. He was giving me attitude and I stayed there 2 days and decided to extend my stay for 3 days and he told me to check out at 11am which I don’t get. He has no reason to kick me out and he did not say anything. Poor service and everything. ‼️
