The location was convenient, and the staff were polite. The room was very small and did not feel clean. The floor was dirty, and I had to wipe it myself with baby wipes because we were staying with children. The beds were uncomfortable, there was mold in the shower, and the water pressure was extremely weak. Overall, the room felt modern and new but poorly maintained, and not comfortable for a family stay.

The hotel is a motel. There are no amenities and the elevator was a bit sketchy but the room was large(king bed). Only one hook for wet towels. The shower door only opened on one side so you had to get into the shower to turn it on. However the price was good and location was great.

Shutters do not filter much light at night and, to be expected, drawback of the convenient location is Lombard St traffic is intense and loud. Light sleepers, beware, or bring ear plugs.

Great location, close to all the main touristic attractions. Golden Gate Bridge is 10 minutes drive. The Marina is 15 minutes walk. Lombard Street is 3 minutes drive. spotless clean and spacious room with very comfortable beds. Parking at no charge. No drinking water in the room.

Everything about the stay was great. The location was convenient, the room was clean, and the hotel was pretty quiet overall. The elevator worked well for moving luggage, though we mostly used the stairs during our stay. Parking was also easy and convenient.

We had a good stay at La Casa Inn. The rooms were modern, comfortable, and looked exactly like the photos. The location was excellent - right next to the famous winding part of Lombard Street, which made it very convenient for exploring the city. There was one issue when we arrived, as the room had not been cleaned properly, but after we reported it, the staff handled it quickly and everything was fine afterward. We also really appreciated the free parking, which is quite rare and very valuable in San Francisco. Overall, a pleasant stay with a great location.

The room itself had a good layout. It comfortably fit our group of five. There were comfortable beds, relatively good service, and functioning TVs. It was pretty loud at night, and the room wasn't cleaned the four nights we were there.

Great place to stay, close to everything that I needed. Would love to have more parking so I don't have to worry. clean rooms.

The staff went above and beyond to make pur stay wonderful from recommending restaurants in the area to helping us after a race in SF get back to the property. They exceeded expectations in helping us feel we were important guests and well taken care of. We will happily stay at La Casa again when in SF.

The room was clean. Location was good. The room had been renovated and looked nice, but it was smoke and mirrors. The mattress was horrible and the bed made a lot of noise on the metal frame. The towels were paper thin. When we asked for extra, we were told that they were all in the wash. TV only showed free google tv. Ice and vending were in the parking lot. Attendant would not check me out. Told me to just leave the keys in the room. Would not stay here again. It was a budget hotel (not at a budget price).

Friendly staff! Manager let me check in a bit early since I had just come off a long international flight. The bed was so comfortable and the location was very convenient. Modern design. Very chic! Super clean and cozy! I will definitely stay there again when I’m back in San Francisco.

My husband and I stayed at the Inn just for one night and we highly recommend this inn. Excellent location in SF. Staff was great and helpful. The hotel seems to have had a recent upgrade and looks freshly painted and is well maintained. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and clean! And they offer parking, A lot of options to eat within walking distance from the hotel. Very satisfied with our stay!

The beds were good, with good lights for reading in bed. The location is excellent, in a safe neighborhood that has a lot to offer. The manager was helpful. It would be handy to have towel rails in the bathroom, as well as a kettle (or at least mugs to reheat the water in the MW). The microwave didn't work very well. I also missed having breakfast and a space to read outside of the room, though it was clear on the website that these weren't provided, so I don't hold it against the hotel, of course!

The location is pretty good, its about a 10 minute walk uphill to get to the street with all the best restaurants/cafes on. It's also a good spot if you're driving to the beach/Muir woods. It has parking most of the time. Looks nice and modern and is relatively quiet. PARKING IS NOT GUARANTEED. The lot fills up at about 9pm. I've found that there is at least one tight/awkward spot that is usually left open at the back - if you're confident in your parking skills then you probably don't need to worry too much about it. I also think the value for money isn't necessarily there when some of the other motels are pretty similar but this one costs more.

This property is the nicest one on Lombard street. It is newly remodeled. My family and I were pleasantly surprised when we walked into our room. It was a beautiful room! Super clean. Nicely put together. Lighting, atmosphere and interior design are superb. Large room with plenty of towels. Spotless bathroom. Parking at the property felt safe and convenient. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. If you are thinking about staying in any of the hotel located on Lombard street definitely choose this one. By far is the best! Reasonable rates and absolutely worth it. Will repeat if my family ever needs a place to stay in San Francisco again. Highly recommend it. Gorgeous rooms. Impeccable decor, super clean. Parking was scary! It's a super tight & tiny parking lot so get in early but the room was nice & cozy with plenty of space & privacy. There was no water available in their vending machine so that was a bummer I had to UberEats delivery some water bottles.

Booking.com’s reservations got everybody mixed up in many ways which was frustrating after driving 7 hours. But the staff at the front desk cleared it all up and got a better room.

One of the AC’s didn’t work in my sisters room. My sister said the floor was dirty in her room. Overall the property has been renovated and appears in good condition. The bedding was clean. Family friendly property. There are two coffee shops close by. The staff was messaging us to let us know about limited parking.

La Casa Inn was conveniently located to public transportation, Hop On Hop Off bus and within a reasonable walking distance to lots of sights. The hotel itself was quiet and kept very clean. We didn't need much during our stay but a couple of extras pillows which were brought to our room right away. Amenities were perfect with a mini fridge and microwave. Cute coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance and a great convenience store just around the corner. Would definitely stay there again while visiting. Nothing to report.

Good location for visiting Fisherman's area. Not so many steep hills around, so easy to walk with strollers. Very bad noise isolation, you can hear everything that is happening around.

The location is perfect, with everything within walking distance, including the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman’s Wharf, and the Palace of Fine Arts. If you’re a runner, this place is ideal with so many great routes nearby. The rooms are modern, spotless, and comfortable—we absolutely loved it here!

That said, the room itself could have felt cleaner. There were noticeable scuff marks on the walls, and the shower didn’t seem to be cleaned as thoroughly as expected. Noise was also a factor—footsteps from guests above were pretty loud, and on weekends you can hear outside noise from traffic and people. If location is your priority, and Free Parking it works well, but there’s definitely room for improvement in cleanliness and noise control.

The hotel is clean, and in a safe and convenient location, about a 10 minute walk to Ghirardelli Square, and right across the street from a Big Bus stop if you do that tour. There is free parking, which is a huge bonus. The rooms were more spacious than expected. If you go to the top of the stairs near the roof, you can see the Golden Gate Bridge.

The inn is near good restaurants and coffee shops. The staff was very nice and accommodating.

Next thing was that on the website it describes the room as a king bed deluxe room but does not tell you it’s ADA and the bathroom has no counter space for makeup, hair or hygiene products. You will have to keep everything in the room or on the floor. There was also not a full length mirror in the room we were given like the description on the site. Lastly all the staff are super rude and not fully trained. They blamed each other saying the other didn’t know because they are new. Staff member said to me in these exact words “You only paid 280$ for the room and you should be happy because you got it at a good price.” They were rude and not understanding. I would never stay there again because it was also not clean. The walls were dirty and floors were not cleaned well. My white socks were grey at the bottom after one night and I had to throw them away. Worst experience ever. I would never stay here again.

Room appeared recently refurbished and was very modern. Very happy with what we got for what we paid too. Location was perfect for us, 20 mins walk to Fisherman’s wharf area if that’s your thing, or $12 or so in an uber from Macy’s area too. Would certainly use again.

The hotel had (limited) free parking which is what initially caught my eye when looking for a place in the area. The gentleman working the night of our reservation called prior to our arrival as we were a little late coming in, to make sure we could get a space, which we did. He was very friendly when we checked-in. Our room was on the second level so we appreciated the elevator, even though we were warned it was older and may be a little slow, as we had quite a bit of luggage. It was fine by the way. The room was nicely renovated and very clean. Even though the hotel is off of a busy street, I’d say traffic noise was very minimal. Overall, I would say this is a great choice for a stopover during our trip.

Our room was on the second level so we appreciated the elevator, even though we were warned it was older and may be a little slow, as we had quite a bit of luggage. It was fine by the way. The room was nicely renovated and very clean. Even though the hotel is off of a busy street, I’d say traffic noise was very minimal. Overall, I would say this is a great choice for a stopover during our trip.

Place was clean, cute, spacious and an awesome location. Marina restaurants and shops within walking distance. There’s a liquor store across the street for small stuff you might need (water, drinks, etc) really enjoyed my stay and would love to book again next time I’m in SF! Great customer service I felt well taken care of.

The room was very clean, it did smell a bit like pot when we first arrived, but I left the door open for about an hour and the smell went away. They didn't restock the soaps, which I'm sure was an oversight, and although it was just my spouse and I, we had to share a towel since there was only one and no washcloths (Thankfully we brought our own soaps). The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked great. The shower water was nice and hot. The bathroom door is a sliding door and is kind of see thru, it didnt close all the way, it left an inch gap from the wall. The parking is limited, they dont have enough spaces for the amount of rooms they have. It's a first come first serve, they even emailed me stating to get there before 7pm to secure a spot. We got there right at 7pm and there were about 8 spots left. A cute breakfast cafe called Home Plate was a 0.6 mile walk down the street, it only took us 14min to get there, it was a nice walk.

We chose this location because of their free parking. The hotel room was nice and updated but on the smaller side of for rooms. I think there was only one man running the hotel for check in and was always available at times when we needed him but was nice when we spoke with him. There are lots of places to go shopping and to eat at around the area as long as you don't mind climbing hills! I would stay here again.

Rooms very nice / updated. Staff friendly, check-in was easy, etc. Good location. Issue isn’t the actual hotel or staff, building is shaped in “U” so it’s loud / sound through walls & outside. Lombard St is great but also very noisy.

Waking distance to fisherman’s wharf around 30 mins and 15 min walk to crooked street. Rooms were renovated, roomy and clean. Great coffee down the street, Coffee Berry, and Indonesian coffee across the street, can’t go wrong. Would come back!

Hotel was clean and recently updated. The parking is horrible, the staff was horrible the one guy treated me horrible, for taking to long to unpack our bags from the vehicle since we had to park 3 blocks away. There was some kind of altercation at about midnight and a lady was screaming and running around, eventually the cops showed up.

Amazing stay. The free parking was a HUGE bonus, especially with the location in the city. The parking lot was well-lit and under surveillance. The staff was very helpful and extremely kind, and the hotel seemed safe. Not too much noise at night. Overall, I would absolutely recommend.

From the time we arrived until we checked the staff was amazing. So accommodating! The gentleman that checked us in made transportation recommendations and activity recommendations that were excellent. Room was nicely decorated clean and comfortable.

This hotel turned out to be a hidden gem! The staff was very helpful and attentive. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and we had everything that we needed to make our 4-night stay a very pleasant one. I highly recommend it for a great stay in the city!

Perfect for an inexpensive stay. Rooms were cute, and area was quiet through the night. We were told by staff to not leave anything in cars that they would get broken into if we did. We had 3 cars in lot all were fine in morning. Great coffee shop/bakery 1 block up the road. We would stay again when visiting San Fran.

Yes, the place has parking, looks renovated, and is in a good location. There are a few small details that could be improved, but unfortunately, the strong urine-like smell coming from the old, loud, and poorly working air conditioner really overshadowed the positives. The reviews are definitely overrated

Our stay here was very good. The staff was very helpful and our room was cleaned and stocked every day. You couldn’t beat the loaction. It was close to everything. We loved our stay here and our family would definitely go back again.

The unit I stayed in was right above the check-in office and directly on the staircase to the second floor. The bathroom sink faucet was nearly impossible to turn off and was leaking. There was heavy foot traffic and nosy visitors. A loud street drilling and construction started right before midnight and ran into the early morning hours. More unsettling and intense noise was experienced from a construction site on the other side of a fence near the parking lot. friend and I endured a hellish torture from hostile energy at rolling and banging from the adjacent rooms. There was a $300 deposit that didn't seem to be outlined in the ad. Lastly, and most disturbingly, the housekeeper opened the door on purpose violating our privacy, even after she had knocked and I had called out not to come in. The first time was in the morning/afternoon of the morning after check-in. I was undressed and on the toilet. The second intrusion was the morning before check out time. The female housekeeper knocked and both my friend and I responded that we weren't in need of help and instead she rebelliously srarting opening the door. She laughed when my friend opened the door to confront her. Needless to say, both of us didn't get restful sleep are were thrust into severe panic and anxiety.

Stunning gem in the Marina district with free parking is a MUST in this area (car thefts are a real issue in this part of SF). The rooms in La Casa Inn are fully refurbished and still fairly brand new-ish when we stayed in March 2025. The exterior, while not modern is very well-kept and feels retro and clean. Walls/Floors are understandably thin with older properties, but you will also get that with any more modern properties in SF. We are a family of four (two young kids) and fit very well in the two double beds room -- we slept well and the shower pressure is lovely. Just all around a comfortable stay -- especially for the price and a lively and safer part of San Francisco.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in so far. Everything was so convenient and accessible. There were many dining options around the area and no driving required to get to them. Lombard street was about a 20 minute walk, 5 minutes by car, and on the way up there was the cutest little park with a beautiful view of the city and the Golden Gate Bridge. Just across Lombard is Coit Tower and was a fairly easy drive to get to. The pier was only a 10 minute drive from Lombard and the entire time we had our car parked at the hotel because it was in a safe area. Saved us gas and parking fees. Waymo was very affordable for those who are planning on doing the same. It was super easy to check in and out of the hotel, one of the easiest I’ve experienced so far. Only thing I didn’t love was how noisy the roads were at night. The bus was incredibly loud and the occasional honking of car horns was annoying. If you’re a light sleeper like myself then this may not be the spot for you, however I would definitely stay here again despite that.

Wonderful place

Right from the moment we checked in to the moment we left we had a great time. The location is amazing and close to all the attractions and restaurants. We walked to crooked street from the hotel and stopped at a small park with steps for amazing views of the GG bridge. It was a good workout and we had dinner at a ramen place near the hotel. The people at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. You can also enjoy a beautiful sunset from the steps on the 4th floor.

The room was fine but they use these carts that sound like a subway is going by your room. This sound happening all day long and really irritating if you are trying to get rest or do any work.

Great spot if you want to get dropped off near your hotel by a driverless taxi

They room was nice overall, but it was dusty and with hardwood floors, its important to clean the floors frequently in my opinion. A lot of dust bunnies.

If I could give 10 stars for the staff I would. The room was clean and well appointed. We were able to walk or have a short drive anywhere. The parking spots were spacious and they were super helpful and let us park there the next day after we checked out for a few hours while we went to a competition. The only thing I would say is that the street noise Was a little loud. If you use a white noise, machine or app it would’ve taken care of it.

I was very pleased with my stay at La Casa Inn. The room was very clean. No carpet (which is good because bare floors can be kept cleaner). The location is good. Check-in process was very smooth. I would stay there again.

Upsides - free parking and fairly central. Downsides - the road noise is horrendous and the windows and badly-fitted door to nothing to keep it out. The rooms have recently been done out but cheaply and ours was already starting to seem tired and worn. Worst of all - there were two families below us having a party on the balcony/walkway and it sounded as if their kids were playing a ball game in the bedroom or bedrooms below us. We reported this to reception but nothing was done. It went on well past midnight and we can’t have been the only guests to complain.

Staff friendly and helpful, clean, basic but nicely appointed room, reasonable rate, safe neighborhood and walkable to Fort Mason. Two lovely restaurants nearby that we tried, more that looked good. On site parking, though limited. Traffic outside is a little noisy but this is a gem.

The property is pretty loud. You can easily hear people walking in the room above you or if they are on the walkways, especially if they are rolling luggage. The cleaning carts are especially loud so bring some ear plugs or noise cancelling headphones if you want to sleep in. The road noise can be loud to as Lombard is a busy thoroughfare to get to the GGB. For Room 207 specifically, the fan was noisy. There was also another noise that was happening frequently on the other side of the wall and it was a cross between a foghorn and a machine and lasted maybe 20-30 seconds. I don't know what it was but it was loud and intrusive. I wouldn't stay in this room again. Overall a decent stay for an overnight if you can overlook the noise.

La Casa was a good value, especially considering the great location within walking distance of Fort Mason, Marina Green, Polk Gulch, etc. Desk attendant held a parking space for me even though I arrived very late for the airport. Much appreciated.

Clean, modern, and convenient. Close to all the parts of SF you could want to visit. The street noise was a bit audible at night in our room but that was to be expected in the city. Front desk worker was friendly and provided great directions. The free parking was great; we were warned the lot may fill up at night since it was limited but we had no troubles getting a spot when we needed it. Be sure to check out the view from the roof before you leave! Will be our new go to hotel when visiting SF.
