We had a pleasant stay and would have stayed again, but we were informed the property will be sold and revert to a private home.

I was checking in and checking out the next day to go to Yosemite then checking back in 2 days later. The staff were very accommodating about leaving my bags there while in Yosemite. When I got back Kate at night they were waiting in my room for me.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The owner/manager was very kind and courteous. She personally showed us to our room. The room is great! You get the classic San Francisco architecture and charm alongside a comfy bed and modern shower. I would recommend this place.

Clean spacious room with private bathroom Could’ve been slightly better upkept. There was a power outlet that didn’t work in my room and the toilet roll holder was coming unscrewed from the wall.

Jackson Court was ideally located and parking wasn't as bad as we anticipated. Overall, the accommodations were good. Breakfast was great and we were surprised at how much was provided. Our only "complaint" was that the room didn't feel thoroughly clean. The rug felt dirty as if it needed to be deep cleaned, and certain areas (e.g., around windows) were dirty. It smelled musty even after we had the windows open.

Convenience, neighbourhood and location and the ambience I might have taken a larger room if I had known and one was available

The location is perfect for our needs. The breakfast definitely needs work. It is beyond just basic. Packaged "fruit cups," and bagels. Please, please consider fresh fruit, some pastries, hard-boiled eggs for protein.

Fridge and kitchen at guests disposal! Great to store extra takeaway. The breakfast was sad to say the least. Not even fresh fruit or an automatic coffee machine. Maybe it would be best if they just offered a voucher for the coffee shop down read? It looked clean, but then in the corners you could see dust.

Jackson Court is a beautifully preserved old property in a quiet pleasant residential section of Pacific Heights. The staff is lovely and we truly felt at home, or like pampered guests in a favorite relative's home. Just a note that the building is not air conditioned, but we doubt this is often needed in SF, and our room had a large floor fan.

the location is not bad there is no thermostat for adjusting the heat in the room. First night was cery cold. There is just one heat adjuster outside of the room for the entire floor. There is no reception. you call somebody on the phone between allowed hours. there is no mini bar. The staff is not helpful at all. Although the hotel was empty they did not allow me to check out one hour later. i would not recommend.

Jackson Court is a B&B not a hotel so you get a personnel warmth there that you don't get in a large corporate hotel. The only downside is it could do with an upgrade to the room decor and linen The included breakfast is a big bonus as this is so expensive to purchase out

There is NO on-site parking. Street parking, if you can find it, is only 2 hours. The common areas of the facility have a VERY strong “air freshener” odor. Not close to anything except residential area and medical facilities.

The most cozy and homey place I’ve stayed in! An elegant classy antique building with the most awesome and convenient location in SF and a friendly caring staff. The place is very clean! Beautiful and spacious room with plenty of closets. Great continental breakfast in a nice dining room. Books and tea by the fireplace with classic music in the background. Our stay in this place we now call our SF home made the visit to the city even more enjoyable. Looking forward to going back!

It was a really good stay in a nice, safe location. Employees were very nice. The continental breakfast was good, not great; mostly some croissants and bagels with butter and cream cheese. Don't expect eggs or any proteins. Wi-Fi was pretty weak, possibly just in my room, which they warned me about when I checked in. Decor is older victorian style (think floral wall paper). Overall, the good customer service and nice location were the highlights of this hotel. No irons/ironing boards in room but there is one located in a shared closet area

I really liked the ambience of the hotel, with it's old-fashioned fixtures and charm- and the bed was comfy, staff was terrific and the area is great for restaurants. However, the wifi was not good, and I have to agree with my husband that there is a kind of old-carpet smell in the rooms- it bothered him quite a bit.

The Jackson Court feels like an historic home in Pacific Heights. Our trip was focused on Pacific Heights, and this hotel is in a great location. it is very near to Fillmore Street with shops and wonderful small restaurants. Parking is a huge problem. We didn't have a car, and getting around by Uber or taxi was easy. There is no concierge or staff immediately available after 7 p.m., so if that is important to you, then this is not the place to be. Our room was spacious with sitting area, large (though slightly dated) bathroom, and fireplace --- very charming. The room was quiet, and we were not aware of other guests. We will stay there again. We likely would not have found it except for its listing on Expedia.

The mysterious click outside was revealed to be skate-boarders going downhill and encountering sidewalk bumps. Evelyn and Randy helpful in general, esp with calling cabs. Would stay again, have recommended to my friends (both of them) :) SF CAVEAT: bring scarf and warmer clothing than you would expect Chicago got title first, but SF is really the Windy City.

My husband and I stayed here because we wanted something kind of half way between Fisherman's Wharf area and Golden Gate Park. It was originally a home built in 1900 and they have done an amazing job of keeping it nice. Basically there are 4 rooms on each floor, very tastefully decorated each with its on bathroom. They even have fireplaces in each bedroom with logs to light. The kitchen is open for everyone and you can store your food items there. They have breakfast every morning and tea time every evening. It was very quiet and peaceful and all of the staff were wonderful.

Nice 1900 old home that's been converted into basically a b&b. Incredibly nice staff. Beautiful, authentic furniture and its location in Pacific Heights, away from the hustle, made this a really cool alternative to my normal hotel schtick. I'd do it again!!

There were two wine glasses with a couple of small bottles of Martinelli's. If you are going to have wine glasses, put wine next to them. Finally, our room was next to the kitchen. We were out late at my company x-mas party and got to sleep somewhere around 1 AM (a Friday night). SOmeone started banging around the kitchen at 6:30 AM (on a Saturday morning) prepping the breakfast. The person was even heard blowing their nose and spitting out phlegm. Nice wake up. The breakfast was also highly underwhelming.....corn flakes, some yogurt, a few cold rolls. We ended up going out in the Fillmore for something decent.

Mid-May 2014 10 day visit by older couple from England without car; with days in SF or out to Muir, Farallon, Yosemite, Monterey. Weather: some hot, some normal May (could open a widow when 90deg). The hotel was quiet and comfortable for us, with friendly helpful staff. The 1900 building modified into a hotel is perhaps quirky re lighting and layout but feels solid. Good "continental" breakfast (fresh fruit, cereal, toast, etc) plus can put own food in fridge. Breakfast room two tables (seat 6 - 8 max), so could be busy if many in, but often on our own or carry to room. We used buses in SF: from Fillmore for Union Sq. or Marina, from Van Ness for Pier 39 or Market St, on Washington/Jackson for China Town. If on business would be taxi to Financial or Market. Suits couples e.g. East Coast en-route Sacramento and rent car in Marin County; e.g. younger group in for Bay-to-Breakers.

Lovely quiet location with elegantly decorated rooms. Spacious common areas and room (Burgundy room) with an adequate breakfast provided. Evelyn was most accommodating to our late arrival and helpful through every stage of our stay. Good range of restaurants within 5 minutes walk as is public transport. A little off the path if you are not a walker but this was not a concern for us. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

This is in a beautiful neighborhood though not that close to most offices. Staff was pleasant. Room was spacious and clean. The price was right and it was quiets night I've ever spent in San Francisco.

Wonderful hotel in a fab location, far away from the tourist trap of Union Square and Fisherman's Wharf. Beautiful area up high. Lovely hotel, amazing fresh breakfast. We will stay here again next time in SF: Highly recommended.
