this was one of the best hotel experiences i’ve had. the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I was able to check in hours early ($50 fee) and check out late (complimentary). the hotel was in a great walkable location, clean, and comfortable. I thought it was a nice touch that there are free ice and water refill stations on every floor of the hotel. the market they have in the lobby is very convenient and I enjoyed getting coffee there in the morning. they gave me a $15 credit for the market upon check in which was also very nice to immediately be able to get a snack at no additional cost. the lobby is basically a beautiful lounge and I was able to relax and eat a meal down there after check out, prior to going to the airport. if I am ever back in SFO again, i’ll be definitely be coming back. thank you to the staff!! actually can’t think of anything that could’ve been better. like I said, one of the best hotel experiences i’ve had. no complaints.

Better than the other hotels we stayed at that week

Breakfast was ridiculously expensive and not great quality - not worth it. We didn’t get one of our rooms until very late and the staff were very unhelpful. We had booked connecting rooms and they weren’t available because the guests before had been allowed late checkout. We were meant to check in at 3 but didn’t get the room until 5:30pm. When I complained I was told they “never guarantee” the check in time. Really disappointing.

The hotel was relatively clean and the location was good. I stayed on the 5th floor and the view was very bad and I suggest you do not park your car at this hotel at all. They are very rude and charge a lot of extra money. Even during the day I left my car there for 2 hours and they were supposed to charge me $25 and I was there before 2 hours but they kept me waiting and when it was 5 minutes past 2 hours they brought the car for me and for the 5 minutes they were late they charged me $20 and they were very rude and when I checked in and out of the hotel they told me that they had no one to help me with my luggage and that I had to carry it myself. In any case it was not a good memory and I will not go there again.

I experienced someone who was acting as an employee trying to enter my room. Thankgod I had the internal lock engaged because he was opening my door without permission asking to change a light bulb in the closet that did not exist. I was moved to a different room, but the manager brushed me off and never followed up with me or apologized. I then felt uncomfortable in this hotel my entire stay. I would take this into consideration when booking with this hotel

Our stay was short but the experience was good. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel in general is very clean. The room was clean and we didn't hear any noises like in other hotels. I slept like a baby and will definitely book here again in the future.

Excellent location Extremely expensive, parking is ridiculously expensive actually the most expensive parking in life experience and I had been to most hyatts around the USA. They need to work on that. The staff at night were not to welcoming either. Si much money for so little effort.

We arrived during a storm and were woken by a state emergency phone alert in the middle of the night, the hotel made a creaking noise all night for just this night, we think it was the anti-earth quake feature so its a very safe hotel.

Wonderful location close to Union Square, SFMOMA, jazz club, shopping. They have The market where you can get a quite bite, nice coffee, sandwiches, pasta, salads etc to go plus some counter seats if you need.

The room we stayed in was great but I hate that they didn’t have self parking. The valet parking was like $90 something a day and the parking they sent us to was like $40 a day. Which isn’t bad but I wish they had self parking.

We got a breakfast sandwich and the bacon was burnt, the bun soggy and the egg was way too thick. Also, the hose to the handheld part of the shower had a crack in it so when turned on it literally sprayed all over the entire bathroom.

By far the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in, and I’ve stayed in so many places. Beautiful views, clean, amazing staff and service. Walking distance to many stores and restaurants, and only a 10 minute drive to the pier. Will be booking here anytime I stay in San Francisco.

Excellent location in the Arts district. Close to SF MOMA and other popular museums including the Moscony Center. The buffet breakfast was by the best we’ve ever had. Oh, there is a Blue Bottle coffee just down the street. Contemporary esthetic, very clean and friendly and knowledgeable staff ready to assist with any questions or services you require. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

My stay here at Hyatt was pretty good overall. Rooms were in great condition and staff were very courteous. Location was also be very convenient nearby the major highway for the oakland bridge. Only complaint I have is valet was not very efficient there was a 10-15 min wait each time collecting car and no one was ever around to answer calls to retrieve car beforehand.

My daughters and I greatly enjoyed our stay at this hotel for our lady's trip. It was very clean; the beds were so comfortable, and the staff were all welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be coming back to stay with them again.

Very dusty and didn’t have soap to wash hands for a day. Other than that we had an amazing view and the bed was super comfortable and shower felt amazing. Loved the mini fridge.

The hotel was very clean and nice. We traveled with our 3 kids between the ages of 15-7 and the hotel was family friendly. The outside location was clean and area felt safe. There is good restaurants across the street and we were very close to the ball park.

It was walking distance from the venue we were going to.

Booked double queen (was marked an accessible room) but because another guests needed the accessible room, our room was changed to 1 King with sofa bed (lounge chair). I checked and sofa bed was ok but nowhere near the comfort of a bed. When the switch was made, they had already ran out of 2 Queens rooms (even though I booked in April). Staff told me I booked a room for 2 people and not 3, but even if it was 2 people, I wasn’t going to share a bed with my friend. But what annoyed me the most was they ran out of comforters so I slept with a throw and 3 bedsheets to keep warm. Yes the upgraded room was nice and the price was well over what I had paid for…but such a nice hotel to have guest sleep with a throw and bedsheets to keep warm is just awkward. Any other day this hotel would have been 5-stars…but not the night I stayed.

It was lovely but the only thing was the WiFi not connecting or cutting off while I was there. That’s it besides that I had a great stay.

Hyatt Regency offers a luxury stay within walking distance of Union Square and the Ghirardelli shop. A convenient CPK across the street adds a family-friendly dining option. The experience was pleasant overall, though the lobby’s repetitive zen music could be more upbeat electronic music especially in SF.

Arrived with quick easy check in. Got to the room they assigned us and unfortunately someone was already in the room. Went back down and they upgraded us for the inconvenience without even asking. Hotel very clean.

It's a beautiful hotel, but during check-in, they must have been preoccupied because they didn't give us any information about accessing Wi-Fi. We got to our room, right next to the elevator on the 24th floor and had to listen to what sounded like a frieght train passing by all night. And the worst of it was our room had an overwhelming scent of curry, that was impossible to ignore. Overall, very disappointing stay.

Second stay at this hotel and again they delivered great service. Absolutely loved the gym on site and location is convenient to food and other stores. Hyatt has not disappointed and I appreciate their great customer service.

Great place to stay, our room had an amazing view! Everything was clean and the staff were really nice! Totally recommended.

Nice accommodations, staff was wonderful, but a little overpriced and the destination fee and security deposit is ridiculous.

Location is perfect! Staff are wonderful, and the property is just great for singles and families!

My room was amazing and it was one of the higher floors. The room was clean all amenities were great! Valet parking was excellent loved, the bar area and store. It is uniquely placed between the SF Giants baseball stadium and fisherman's warf. Close to transportation and the staff were excellent. The Doorman and Valet were so helpful, providing information related to sights and use of public transportation. I will definitely stay there again and highly recommend to others.

I love the Hyatt regencies and this one is one of my favorites. The location is great with the staff is absolutely amazing. I will continue to stay here but I have to say I really do not like the European showers that don't have a door. The Cool breeze just keeps blowing in while you're taking a shower but other than that I think everything about this place is wonderful.

Clean place with nice staff but room was small and not like other corner rooms as well as the outside windows were dirty. So couldnt get a good picture of the view.

Our stay was great, made special and memorable by the lovely staff and workers.

My only complaint about this hotel is their parking fee, which it was $80 per day, ridiculously expensive. Other than that, everything was GREAT! Very recommended.

Great service. Great view. We really enjoyed our stay. Lots of good dining within walking distance.

Bar area very cold as the main doors open directly on to it. Food goes cold quick. Valet parking only at $79 per night. Fixed cost for breakfast of ~$35 regardless of what you eat. Nice shop in the hotel to buy basic snacks - expensive but cheaper than breakfast.

Staff was awfull

Room was clean, a view of downtown street which was beautiful during the day and night. Front desk service, Sara, in particular was very helpful! Disappointed that the bar and limited dining wasn't available until 5PM and no room service. The Market was available for delivery to room, though I did have problems using their app

Excellent customer service

Cost benefit at this hotel is a bit off sincereky, its kind of old (rooms) and my room was noisy all night, not sure what it was but from inside the hotel.
