Reviews
The hotel is highly praised for its proximity to Oracle Park, making it an ideal choice for Giants game attendees. The staff's friendliness and helpfulness are consistently commended. However, parking issues and the lack of valet service are frequent complaints.

Very convenient walking distance to ballpark and restaurants- easy return towards the airport
- 4/5
Room was nice and clean. Perfect location to Oracle Park. Parking is not guaranteed and they sell to non-guests therefore, prepay for parking before arrival
- 5/5
The location was amazing right across from Oracle stadium and a short walk to the chase center. The view was incredible we had a corner room with views of the bay bridge and the San Francisco city sky line. Breakfast was great and the staff was super helpful. Definitely will stay again
- 5/5
Love how close it is to Oracle park! There is no valet parking and the “parking garage” they have only has 10 parking spots. There is a public parking garage just across the street which charges $80 a day but make sure you leave before the 24 hours is up or else you will get charged the full $80 again even if you are 1 minute late!
- 4/5
Great stay, clean, and near our venue. Only complaint would be not being able to watch t.v. Otherwise recommend this place to stay.
- 3/5
$94 for parking. 8 spots only. Very difficult to back in tiny space.
- 5/5
It was an amazing stay, Staff was friendly and check in/out was easy. Parking is limited but we got a parking spot. Breakfast was provided and it was great. I would recommend to stay here.

The staff was amazing! There was a problem and they jumped on it and solved it for me. The two gentlemen at the desk went above and beyond for us and I greatly appreciate them both so much! The bartender was super friendly and nice and had great suggestions for things to see and place to eat.

Room is clean, staff is very friendly, breakfast is very decent. very satisfied with this hotel
- 4/5
Good hotel, very clean car, tidy, good and very helpful full staff.... Just a few things to note. There is no car parking... And car parking in the area is expensive. Trams are just a block or two away so they can be handy for getting around
- 5/5
Clean, the staff were friendly. Also in a solid location!
- 5/5
Staff was helpful, the property was clean and we enjoyed an excellent breakfast. We will stay there again.

The hotel is near Oracle Park, and my son is very passionate about baseball. The area is home to numerous restaurants and bars. Hyatt has always been my preferred choice due to its unique room character, with an excellent spacious bathroom. The staff at that Hyatt hotel is very accommodating and friendly. We are very satisfied and would stay again if we return to San Francisco. Special thanks to the housekeeping staff — she was thorough, friendly, and left us a kind note after cleaning our room. Thanks so much, Hyatt.

The San Francisco Downtown Hyatt is always our go to place when visiting San Francisco. The staff are all exceptional, the property always clean and well maintained and the connecting restaurant is some of the best clean food we have eaten.
- 4/5
Quiet hotel, walking distance to Oracle Park, coffee shops and restaurants. Hotel parking garage was full so we had to park across the street in a garage, which was fine ($30 for 24hrs). Room was basic, pretty clean, but bedding and shower could use some upgrading. Fire pit area on street level was really nice.
- 5/5
This hotel is steps away from the Willie Mays entrance gate at Oracle Park. The staff is extremely accommodating when it comes to storing luggage for those going to a day game or upon check out. There’s a public parking garage across the street which is very convenient and safe.
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was well kept and spacious. If you are a Giants or Warriors fan, this is a great place to stay.
- 5/5
The hotel has a good location (wonderful, if you are a baseball fan). It is clean and the fitness room is ample and well-maintained. We had a minor problem with our television, and the staff handled it promptly and kindly.

The staff was warm, friendly, and very helpful. The gentleman who assisted us during check-in on Wednesday around 4 p.m. was especially helpful. I believe he was from India, though I apologize if I am mistaken.
- 5/5
Love staying here! Very convenient stay. Close to ballpark, restaurants and bars.
- 5/5
The staff are very friendly and responsive. They found my hat that I left in the outside patio area and return it to me. The breakfast is good. It is very close to Oracle park, so there are many families staying here for the game. If there are anything that can be done better, is that to thoroughly dust the furniture and night stand.
- 4/5
Great hotel to stay at very close to ballpark
- 5/5
Great location, very clean room. Staff very helpful. Flew in for a Giants game and they held our bags for us until we returned from the game and checked in.
- 4/5
Great stay and very near Oracle Park. The only downside was the parking. The hotel lot was full and I had to pay $100 per night for a lot nearby. The shower tile is looking a bit worn and needs some extra cleaning.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. The location can't be beat for going to a Giants game or walking anywhere along the Embarcadero! Only mild disappointment was the high floor room (as requested) has a view of the back of surrounding apartments and not a city view. But I suppose I should have asked that when checking in. Otherwise, everything was great! Good breakfast too.
- 5/5
This was the perfect day for an overnight trip to watch the Giants game. The rooms were clean and the included breakfast was fun. The staff was extra friendly and we really enjoyed our stay and we’ll definitely be back.

Close to UCSF Mission Bay so that really was nice !
- 5/5
Location was ideal for going to a concert at the chase center, and is located right across from the stadium, so if you're looking for a place to stay before/after a Giant's game, this is an incredible spot. Felt very safe, and there were lots of parking garages around. Room was standard, breakfast was decently fresh American fare, and was easy to walk from here too. Soundproofing could use work since we could hear folks walking by the room and chatting, along with doors closing, but couldn't hear above or below us, so wouldnt rate it lower because of that. Overall, a great stay for a good price in a safe part of the city.
- 5/5

Could have used a microwave in the room, but everything else was excellent!

We were were unable to enjoy your breakfast because we participated in the Bay to Breakers race. That started at 8 am. You breakfast bar only opened at 7 am that Sunday, which, sadly, doesn’t leave sufficient time for digestion until race start. Open your breakfast bar at 6 am.

We went to see a Dodgers/Giants baseball game, The property is a block away from the stadium. It is also a block away from the train, so it was easy to get around town. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
Reserve parking as it is very limited
- 4/5
The breakfast is always convenient, especially since there aren’t a lot of breakfast places in the area. On the second day of our stay, they were running behind on clean plates and silverware… But it wasn’t too long before they brought some more.
- 5/5
The place was clean and staff was helpful. Did not use any amenties.

Stayed at Hyatt Place San Francisco/Downtown and had a great experience. The rooms were super clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location could not be better. It’s only a block away from Oracle Park and close to everything downtown. Perfect spot if you’re in town for a game or just exploring the city. Have stayed here many times in the past and will again in the future.

Hotel was clean. location was perfect for me, one mile walk to ucsf medical. Half a block from oracle park, nice walk, also not far from SF MOMA
- 5/5
Very nice place with a staff focused on service and a fresh hotel experience in a great downtown location in SF convenient to most SF attractions at an affordable price.
- 5/5
Modern. Location really close to Oracle Park. Spacious and clean room Parking was expensive. Found offsite parking using parking app.

Room, staff, breakfast, location, etc. was great! Exceeded my expectations in every way.

Very nice place. Rooms are clean. Will definitely stay here again next time
- 5/5
The breakfast was fresh and the staff brought out new, fresh items frequently.
- 5/5
The bread was excellent!~
- 3/5
Didn’t get a chance to go down for breakfast; it ended at 9:30am and we woke up a little late. Parking was really tight and a bit pricey at $95 a night, and we had to move the car out promptly at 11:00am. Staff were really nice and the hotel was clean. The stay was convenient for attending the baseball game with 4 kids.
- 2.5/5
It was a great location for seeing a show at Chase Center. We had an emergency and wanted to cancel 30 days before our stay. They had zero flexibility on the 33 days prior cancellation policy.
- 5/5
Breakfast was excellent
- 5/5
Breakfast was good and kept fresh. The property is in great location.
- 5/5
The breakfast menu was delicious. The eggs were super fluffy and my favorite the potatoes were to die for. The bar looked pretty stocked. I don't drink but everyone who was at the bar were happy. The staff were beyond amazing. If you want hospitality baby this is the spot! Everything is basically in walking distance from Oracle to the Chase Center to the Fisherman's Wharf.
- 4/5
Nice clean hotel! Got a great rate and breakfast included!
- 5/5

Great location for attending a Giants gane.
- 3/5
I picked this hotel because it was close to the stadium and it definitely in, but parking was a nightmare. The hotel was loud and we kept getting woken up by other guests and how loud they were in the hours leading up to our early morning flight.
- 5/5
AC was great. Room is super. Quiet. Slept like a baby. The staff was incredible. Welcoming and very personable. I would definitely stay again. Didn’t get a chance for breakfast or the bar but looked very cozy. Kept luggage until room was ready. I had no idea this hotel was so close and convenient to the ballpark. Will stay there again.
- 5/5
Staff was so nice and so friendly. They went outta their way to make us feel at home. We’d return if ever in that area again.
- 5/5
The location is perfect for catching a baseball game. The room was clean, the staff is amazing and friendly. I appreciated that my room was ready early and the time I did wait they kept my bags so I could explore the city. When my room was ready I received a text, it was easy and efficient.
- 3/5
Staff were great. Buffet looked ok. Shower was pathetic with no pressure. Room was small. Bar closes at 10:00. Bar is expensive. Three bottles of beer and a glass of wine was $87. Room was $272. Our view of 3rd St. was nice. It's ok.
- 3/5
Better insulation, you can hear everything from outside and side to side
- 3/5
Parking garage is closed. You have to double park in the street drop your bags in your room and then park in a public garage a block away. Very expensive at $80 per day during our stay. But no other option. Staff are friendly. Central to everything. Breakfast is mediocre at best and at 9:30 was in a state of disarray.
- 5/5
Great location, hotel is in great conditions, and friendly staff. I like to use this hotels for events around the area. I easily arrived by public transportation.
- 5/5
The rooms are spacious, clean, my favorite part was the noise cancellation and that the staff are very friendly, topped of customers. Ithai in the front desk was the best in customer service. The breakfast was really good. Would stay again
- 5/5
Have a great time everything was perfect. I’ll recommend this hotel to my friends.
- 5/5

- 5/5
I recommend this place to families group or single travelers
- 5/5
Great place!
- 3/5
The room was not in the best shape. Not what we would expect from a Hyatt property. The shower was discolored and missing grout in many areas. Walls and blinds had damage. The positives were the friendly staff and location.
- 5/5
Awesome Staff and very close to Oracle Park
- 5/5
Front desk staff was great! I travel a lot and this front desk was the most helpful that I have ever experienced.

- 5/5
Always a great stay at the Hyatt.
- 1/5
Parking big problem end very expensive for one day
- 5/5
The room was large and clean, and the shower was quite spacious. Staff was very helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast very much— $14 each for all you can eat, and the food was hot & very tasty. The bar was quite nice, although pours were not generous. We stored our luggage for another day about town and it was retrieved safely and efficiently. We did not use the shuttle—didn’t know there was one!
- 5/5
Alexis at the front desk was wonderful! We had a wonderful stay
- 5/5
I needed a comfortable, quiet room, and this place fit the bill. I was returning from a long international Holdiay and I needed to fix my sleep prior to getting a train ride south.
- 5/5
Room was very clean and comfortable! The only downside was that we didn't get any towels to dry ourselves with. Other than that, the experience was great!
- 5/5
Pleasant and friendly.

- 5/5

Everything was great second time staying in this hotel and will forsure return as always staff was on point with everything room was clean!
- 5/5
Everything was very clean and the staff was very helpful, we never had an issue with getting help and even was able to get late check out!
- 5/5
From the moment we walked in we were greeted by friendly staff who made sure we knew their names and the services and times available. Our room was spotless, with plenty of towels for 2 adults and 2 children. Breakfast was top notch. It was fresh, with a wide variety of healthy foods to choose from. It was well stocked and very clean! The price is right for a family going to the UCSF Children’s Hospital for appointments, or for baseball fans who want to stay the night close to the action! The first time we stayed was during the hight of Covid. We’ve tried to make the drive and appointments, then return home same day, but it isn’t worth the stress. We highly recommend this Hyatt location!
- 5/5
Great eating locations nearby, SF Giants stadium a block away, friendly professional staff. Clean room.
- 5/5
Great location, clean room, loved the bed
- 5/5
Great location for easy access to events at I
- 5/5
Parking is $95.00 a night at hotel. Lot across the street is $30.00 a night.
- 3/5
They need to be transparent about their parking situation. First of all its not free. And 2nd of all they dont have enough so if their garage is full you're out of luck and need to go somewhere else to park.
- 5/5
Very nice staff, the hotel had a very cute outside area to lounge with a fireplace, and rooms were cool & spacious!
- 5/5
Room was clean and spacious. Lobby was inviting and staff was helpful. Location is great, walkable to Oracle Park, The Embarcadero, and other attractions. Additional safety measures taken at night to ensure safety of guests.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The city view from our room was amazing! We loved the patios, especially the one near the fitness center. It's a great location and we had an easy time walking to bars/restaurants and catching the muni bus a block away. We can't wait to stay there again for Giants game!
- 5/5
We stayed on a rather warm day and the courtyard was very beautiful when we sat outside during breakfast. It would be nice if breakfast was included in your stay. We signed up for rewards and got breakfast complimentary for signing up.
- 3/5
The room was clean and we enjoyed the view of the city. The proximity to Chase Center allowed us to walk to and from our event. Our only complaint is that the loud fan in the bathroom wouldn’t turn off; we called the front desk and they didn’t have another similar room to switch us to. The front desk did, however, compensate us by refunding our breakfast at the hotel in the morning.
- 5/5
The rooftop view is nice. Close to the ballpark.
- 5/5
Everything is closed and is to easy to find transportation.
- 5/5
The fire pit in the patio was a very nice touch.

Staff, room housekeeping....all great. Pleasant surprise when I found out the breakfast was included. Amazing salmon dinner at the restaurant next door, a restaurant that I didn't even notice was there!
- 5/5
Staff is always very friendly and respectful, the place is clean, access to a lot of really good SF city bars and restaurants. Oh, and it’s pretty quiet given the location. Definite recommendation for anyone needing a nice wholesome place to stay.

- 4/5
Front desk staff were polite and welcoming. Room was clean with all amenities working as they should. Only real issue I had was being told on-site parking was $95 for the night. If we wanted to pay a fraction of it, we would need to park off-site. The off-site parking was around the corner. Carrying bags and walking in cold was just not it. Super inconvenient.
- 5/5
The hotel staff were nice and the hotel was clean.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly, efficient, very clean. The breakfast was great. Walking distance to the Oracle stadium beautiful area to walk in the morning. I be staying here again

Rooms are spacious, clean, and location couldn’t be better. The attitude and less than friendly attitude of the gentleman during check in was less than pleasant, but tolerable for a one night stay.

Staffs are all friendly and courteous.
- 5/5
Everything was great. I got checked in fast, the hotel was very nice and clean. The buffet breakfast was really good. I’d definitely stay here again. Everyone was very nice.
- 3/5
The room is in good condition. The staff is good, but my only note is the garage so if we are outside and and we arrive to the hotel. We have to get up of the car and go inside to the hotel and let them know that we arrive and then we go back to our car then we go to the garage to park our car. this is kind of exhausting other than that everything is good.
- 3/5
Everything was great room clean m! Didn’t like the fact I did a late checking with my baby and had to walk with my luggage and baby from a different parking lot because they didn’t have any more parking space there

The hotel was in a great location for everything I needed to do. Parking was reasonable and close by. The check-in process was fast and friendly. Room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. I appreciated having the little ‘market’ onsite for snacks and drinks.
- 5/5
breakfast food was ok, but selection was limited (no bacon, no sausage)
- 5/5
Staff were very helpful. Couldn't fault the stay at all
- 5/5
Good location. Food nearby. Very close to catch a Giants game.
- 5/5
Check in was extremely easy, room was clean and tidy. Only hard part was figuring out parking.
- 5/5
The single king room was the perfect place to recharge before our flight back home to Louisiana. It was the last night of our honeymoon and friends met us at Kaiyo for dinner which was exceptional. We can't wait to visit again!
- 4/5
Good Location; could walk to Union Square and Chase Center
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
Hotel staff were very friendly . Rooms were clean and comfortable
- 5/5
Itai and Simon were very helpful throughout our stay. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel was very close to food and entertainment. We particularly enjoyed walking to Underdogs Cantina for dinner. Excellent stay!

Great overall stay, friendly staff
- 5/5
The check in was fast and good service. Area was clean. Room was comfy.
- 5/5
Great staff and the rooms were nice and big. I slept like a baby. Love every bit of it.
- 5/5
The staff is awesome
- 5/5
Great staff. Clean room. Good size barhroom. Modern.
- 5/5
- 5/5
Everything was excellent at the hotel and Simon at the front desk is amazing. He has great recommendations and is incredibly kind and welcoming.
- 5/5
Most courteous staff. Daily housekeeping without having to ask for it. Clean and spotless rooms. If there were more than 5 stars I would rate them higher than 5.
- 5/5
Room was clean and spacious
- 5/5
The hotel was awesome. The staff was amazing. Will definitely stay again. Plan on coming back to the San Francisco Giants game.
- 5/5

- 5/5
I’ll take it back
- 5/5
The room was super clean and updated amenities. Love this hotel. Hyatt is always a good choice! 👍
- 5/5
It was fantastic!
- 5/5
Nice 20 min. walk to the Chase center or hop on the Muni. Our favorite spot to stay when seeing the Warriors play.
- 5/5
Room was clean and very convenient location. Nice staff.
- 5/5
Good place
- 5/5
Great staff, great location, clean rooms
- 2/5
The parking was not all that great. The room was okay, but too small and the beds were uncomfortable. I wouldn’t stay here again.
- 5/5
Excellent service and world class team
- 5/5
Great hotel!
- 5/5
Comfortable clean rooms, parking charge is a little ridiculous but that’s the city for you. Room was fairly priced considering most were double the amount per night during no major event(s). I would stay here again, close to the stadium and walking distance to a few places like Lucky Strike. During the week everything closes pretty early, plan to take a taxi. Staff was very nice.
- 5/5
Great location for Oracle Park. Friendly staff. Easy checkin. Clean room.
- 5/5
we haven't had Breakfast yet
- 5/5
Awesomeness
- 5/5
Front desk staff was friendly and extremely professional. Great experience there.
- 5/5
I would highly recommend this Hyatt to anyone staying in the downtown China basin park area in SF. So many cool features to explore from the great aura of the fireplaces outside (close at 11pm) to the roof top on the 9th floor with beautiful succulents and views of the 2nd street bridge.
- 4/5
Staff and my room was great. I had a great time. I just had trouble with finding parking
- 5/5
Property was very clean, staff is helpful, and its close proximity to Chase Center is ideal!
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly. Bed comfy and room was clean. Good area
- 5/5
Convenient location
- 4/5
Clean, great staff. Parking sold out and no vegan options for breakfast, so 4 stars
- 5/5
clean
- 2/5
the rooms aren’t clean
- 3/5
Subpar for the location and cost. Rooms were big, but a bit dingy. Parking onsite is minimal like 6 spots you share with staff as well.
- 5/5
The Customer Service I received from Vagish, Itai, Alexis, and all other staff was phenomenal!! The room and hotel was immaculate and very clean. I will definitely be returning! Five Star Service !!
- 5/5
Great staff
- 5/5
The only con is that you hear all the doors noise and if you are a light sleeper that is a problem
- 5/5
Clean room. Breakfast is OK.

- 3/5
Parking is not onsite and you need to walk to public parking. Parking is not covered. Area is sketchy.
- 5/5
The front desk staff were excellent.
- 4/5
The workout area needs attention: None of the treadmills or ellipticals had the TV working on anything other than 2 channels. The water dispenser was empty at 5:30am. The sanitation wipe bucket was clogged and i couldn't access a wipe. The ice machine and water dispenser just outside the workout center was also not working...it was the only amenity i experienced so i can't say it was a 5 star experience.
- 5/5
Clean rooms. Exceptional service by all check in staff
- 5/5
Nice stay , wil return
- 5/5
Very nice place
- 5/5
Room was small (hey, it's the city) but clean and well-appointed. Staff was great. Nice location close to the water.
- 2/5
AC didn’t work, was not the room I reserved, issues with phone and power outlets
- 5/5
Breakfast was not included in our stay. So we didn’t go down for that. $14/person was too costly for us.
- 3/5
Receptionist was super nice. The view of the city was nice. However, there is no hotel parking. Well, there is but they only have 10 spots and its 94$ per night. The parking garage down the street was 30$ per night. Secondly, if you're a late sleeper, housekeeping will wake you up early (around 9am) asking if you need cleaning. Careful on your checkout date because again, they will try and come in if you dont answer the door quick enough after they knock. Check out was at 11am and at 9am they were trying to come in to clean the room when we hadnt checked out yet. I probably won't be staying here again.
- 5/5
The breakfast was delicious but it is 14.99 per person. The room was clean and had a nice view of city buildings. Staff was accommodating.
- 5/5
Staff was amazing.
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
The accommodations were excellent. Hotel staff were very pleasant
- 4/5
I think the parking was an issue. I thought.$90 a day was extravagant. And unnecessary. Otherwise, the breakfast was good. The rooms are clean. Again, the parking was terrible.
- 5/5
clean and spacious room. Nice TV and very friendly and helpful staff at reception
- 5/5
The clean room and convenience of places to go.
- 5/5
Great place to stay, the parking is very expensive and they didn’t tell us that it’s tied to your stay, meaning if you arrive at 4pm. you’ll be charge for the full day at 11am tomorrow after check out, not the 24hr period.
- 3/5
The hotel parking is difficult to find and quite expensive, while the breakfast provided is subpar, and the area tends to be noisy.
- 5/5
Great stay.
- 5/5
Clean room and very cozy good size of room
- 4/5
Muy rapido el check in pero el estacionamiento tienen un costo adicional de 90 es opcional a una cuadra esta uno que cuesta 30 y el desayuno es muy basico
- 5/5
Good hotel, clean. Early check in was easy. One of the outlets didnt work and the breakfast was mid, but I don’t care much about those details. Staff was nice and receptive and fairly central to a lot of cool places. Right next to the ball park, so great if you want to hit a game.
- 3/5
When checking out we kindly told the staff member and she gave us points for our next stay which was nice.
- 5/5
Nice
- 2/5
Arrived 7pm and they said no parking space for us .
- 5/5
Perfect game day stay, nice 20 minutes stroll to chase center or hop on muni metro down the street.
- 4/5
Convenient. Right next to stadium, fin. district.
- 5/5
Great location for Gaints or warriors game
- 1/5
- 5/5
Conveniently located
- 4/5
AC wasn't central and the room didn't very cool at night and the bathroom door has glass so it illuminates the room at night. Besides that, great experience.
- 5/5
Everyone was so nice and helpful, answered all our questions and made our stay comfortable. I will definitely stay here again. The view from our room was perfect!! Best trip ever!
- 5/5
All around good
- 5/5
Very clean room
- 5/5
Great room , great service , clean area I loved it
- 5/5
Staff
- 5/5
Great location and service.
- 2/5
very basic hotel. Pictures make it look much nicer than it is. Parking garage was full upon my arrival so I had to hunt down a secured parking garage. The parking garage was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel in a city where parking is difficult and can be dangerous.
- 2/5
No one helped us open the door when we were struggling with our bags. Window washing at 4am woke us up for hours.
- 5/5
Staff was fantastic, took my bag for me very early so i could explore the city before check in time. Hotel was very modern and well kept. Rooms were nice!
- 5/5
Comfortable room, courteous staff
- 5/5
Clean room, excellent service from the staff and overall the hotel is located in safe and convenient area.
- 5/5
The property was very well kept and the staff was magnificent! I will definitely be staying here more often when I travel to San Francisco.
- 5/5
This place is a gem! Appealing properly, fantastic staff, food and beverage anvsil and great location.
- 5/5
Convenient.
- 5/5
Clean room and great location!
- 5/5
The room was nice, and the location is great. Considering the prices of other hotels in San Francisco this was a reasonable value
- 3/5
Parking is not available at the property. We had to park at a parking garage which was across the street on the other side of the street. It was a hassle to load and unload luggage.
- 5/5
Very efficient check in. Room ready.
- 5/5
This property is so close to the Ballpark, it was absolutely perfect! The rooms were clean and all the staff was so nice! we will definitely be staying there every time we go to to a Giants Game
- 5/5
clean comfortable and great location
- 5/5
The area was nearby Chase Center if you love to watch ballgame thats a great place to stay. Parking wont be available at the site if you have truck due to height limitation however there are lots of parking around the area with lesser fee. Would definitely recommend and be back here.
- 5/5
Great place for our one day getaway in the city
- 5/5
Love the atmosphere from lounge to rooftop! Incredible staff all willing to help guide you! I would return to this hotel and recommend it to friends and family.
- 5/5
Room was comfortable and very clean. Bed was very comfortable!
- 5/5
Staff were welcoming , friendly, professional, efficient and incredibly hospitable. Any request was accommodated quickly and graciously. One of the best experiences I’ve had. The property is clean and very well maintained. The room is large, well appointed, scrupulously clean, well maintained and very comfortable. The neighborhood seemed safe with several dining options close by.
- 3/5
Miniscule room. Hallway noises disrupted bedtime. Parking was a nightmare; only six underground slots designed for small cars - uncomfortable maneuvering for three full sized SUVs occupying undersized spaces.
- 4/5

- 5/5
Close to everything we wanted to do.
- 5/5
Loved staying here. Staff is great and so helpful. Food is in walking distance.
- 5/5
Room was a little cramped not much airflow in room other then that it was good
- 5/5
Very clean and modern look. Have a nice patio area with fire pits where you can lounge with a drink. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We decided to extend our stay and they took it upon themselves to find me the best rate.
- 5/5
Nice room on the 11th floor with an expansive city view. Located just down the street from Oracle Park, and a short walk to the SF Bayside walk. Surrounding area has a few restaurants, bars, and there is a Safeway supermarket about 5 minutes away on foot. The room was a decent size with a lounging seat/mini sofa, bed was comfortable, bathroom was pristine. Staff were very friendly.
- 5/5
Nice location for the ball game. Great rooftop bar
- 5/5
The staff was wonderful, close to Orca park, and rooms were very cozy! Everything was great! Only negative i would say, i dont think our room waa vacuumed before we go there because there was oreo cookie pieces on the carpet between the couch and bed. Other than that, i would definitely stay again!
- 5/5
Wonderful place to stay the only negative is that the hotel parking lot was full so we had to park across the street. But the staff was AMAZING! They recommended a garage nearby with a reasonable rate.
- 4/5
Would benefit from some tlc
- 4/5
There was no parking available for a pickup truck, and there was no warning of it ahead. There was also no concierge to help you out with the bags. Not up to Hyatt standards, in my opinion.
- 5/5
Staff is THE BEST! So friendly from check in to big friendly smiles and greetings from housekeeping! My only Con is that the A/C seems to go down to minimum when you are sleeping because there is no movement in the room to trigger the occupancy sensor so it gets a little stuffy at night.
- 5/5
only downfall is not enough parking
- 2/5
Breakfast was not worth it. Even if it were free
- 3/5
The staff was excellent. The Hyatt Place drop off or loading area is almost non existent. It is very difficult to drop off a disabled person and to do it safely.
- 5/5
Outdoor sitting area
- 4/5
Parking is a hassle, especially if theres a game at the stadium.
- 5/5
I love the breakfast and how close it was to everything
- 2/5
The price was high for having no amenities , i.e. no restaurant, very limited self parking at an extremely high cost.
- 5/5
Came to see Giants. Very accommodating staff at hotel.
- 5/5
Favorite hotel in SF
- 4/5
- 5/5
Staff super friendly staff. Clean room
- 5/5
Good loca ti stay
- 5/5
Stayed for a Giants game and would do it again. Only downfall is parking. But it’s SF so you have to expect it.
- 4/5
Not made aware of the properties parking facilities were full at $95 dollars per night. How is your parking facility full for paying guests. I had to use public parking a half a block away. It was at a lower cost but inconvenient.

- 5/5
The hotel itself feels modern and welcoming. The lobby is spacious, stylish, and gives a great first impression. My room was clean, updated, and comfortable with a great city view. The bed and linens were high quality, and I appreciated the large windows that brought in a lot of natural light. The amenities were strong as well. The fitness center was well-equipped, and the on-site dining options were convenient with good food and coffee. Staff service was consistently professional—friendly at check-in, quick to answer questions, and helpful with directions around the city. Like most downtown San Francisco hotels, parking is limited and on the pricier side, but given the central location, that’s expected. Overall, I’d recommend this Hyatt to anyone visiting San Francisco who wants a reliable, upscale hotel in a prime location.
- 5/5
Staff was very nice and helpful. Everything was very clean. Would definitely come back. Location is unbeatable
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable hotel a block from Oracle park. Staff are friendly and very helpful.
- 5/5
Great location less than 1 block from Oracle Park. Excellent service from all staff. Good, convenient breakfast.
- 5/5
no parking in hotel property. parking around the corner not free
- 5/5
Clean with helpful friendly staff.
- 5/5
Great for a ballgame
- 5/5
This hotel is so great for access to Oracle Park and the waterfront. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Comfortable room and beds. Excellent Peruvian restaurant and bar on the rooftop.
- 3/5
Breakfast was great
- 3/5
Except for the parking was full. If you get a room there shoud be a spot available for you. But then again the price of parking there is very expensive as well. Rather get a room outside of the city and uber inti the city for fun and things.
- 3/5
The hotel is pretty and is in a great area for walking around, however the hotel itself has limited parking for $95 a night and no valet. We were told it was “in and out parking privileges” but we weren’t told that once we left the garage to come into the hotel there was no way to get back into the garage without a staff member. The rooftop restaurant is beautiful but extremely busy, there is also a restaurant/bar in the lobby but it was not open at all while we were there so it felt difficult for actual guests of the hotel to get food/drinks. We noticed the hotel had a delivery area for DoorDash orders which further gave us the impression to find food outside of the hotel. Our room was nice, we paid extra for a high level room but the view was pretty much directly into the apartments across from us, we also found leftover food from a previous guest in our mini fridge, we weren’t told about the master electricity switch in our room which we figured out, we also weren't told our towels were inside of the shower so we requested extra not realizing. Overall, the hotel isn’t bad but it’s not at all worth the higher price tag
- 5/5
Nice. Blackout curtains. Clean.
- 5/5
Easy early check-in & very helpful helping us navigate the transportation system. Only a few steps from Oracle field made it a great place to stay!
- 5/5
Perfect location to catch a baseball game! And the bowling alley/arcade across the street was perfect to entertain the kids
- 5/5
The staff was very helpful with great personalities. Our room was as advertised and comfortable. There’s not a lot of parking on site but there was a lot of parking within 1/2 block from the hotel with drop off in front.
- 4/5
The suite was nice. It was a one bedroom but no door to make it a private space. Its bathroom had a motion sensor on the light which I didn't like. I don't need a bright light shining at me in the middle of the night but there's no option to turn it off. The breakfast was mediocre. If driving, there's several spots in front to drop off luggage. The hotel itself doesn't have valet and only limited parking spots, so we parked across the street at a parking garage for $30 a day, which seemed reasonble. Overall the experience was good.
- 5/5
The breakfast was great and the staff very helpful.
- 5/5
Booked at the last minute…convenient parking and close to many amenities
- 5/5
Close to ballpark. Great rooms, breakfast available for a small fee.
- 5/5
Comfortable hotel close to ballpark, only downside bar not open after day game!
- 5/5
Conveniently located close to transportation and the staff is great!
- 2/5
Upon check-in on Friday, we were informed hotel parking was at capacity and directed to use public parking garage down the street. We had no choice but then found out that the garage did not permit access to vehicle 12a-6a… which was an issue as we had an early morning flight Sunday. The hotel had a solution- we could “try to park on the street” the second night. This option felt unsafe and I expressed concerns. After explaining the situation we were in, they understood the issue. The front desk agent was helpful in helping to “reserve” a space in their garage for the second night so we could access the vehicle early morning Sunday. Come to find out- they only have 8 spots for the entire hotel. We were grateful for the “reserved” space but they need to make it clear that parking with them is an option for less than a percent of their customers. If you have a vehicle and need to park it somewhere- this just is a disaster for you.
- 5/5
Amazing Staff!!
- 5/5
With the hotel going through a transition with the program they use, I was accidentally charge twice for my room. I was able to contact the hotel and have it be corrected. Alexis and Genevieve both were amazing in their professionalism with dealing with the issue. We will definitely be back!
- 5/5
Check in was very easy and the staff were very polite and professional. The location is perfect for attending Giant’s games.
- 5/5
Great location. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Room very clean.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel, very comfortable, nice staff, and conveniently located in SOMA.
- 5/5
Better information on parking would be appreciated
- 5/5
it took 5 minutes to wall to ORACLE PARK. how can you top that. plus the rooftop bar ia a 10. see you in sept.
- 4/5
We stayed here as a family with young children. I liked how the walls seemed sound proof, since my toddler enjoyed being loud. The shower in the evening took a long time to heat up. I was shivering as I was waiting for it to be at a decent temperature to use. The soap that was supplied seemed to have a residue to it after washing your hands, which I didn't like since it made it seem like your hands were never really washed. The bed was nice and i appreciated the black out curtains. Our family really enjoyed the breakfast that the hotel served.
- 3/5
Breakfast is offered but selections are limited. Disappointed the hotel had no restaurant in the premises. Staff is helpful when you push to get help but do not openly volunteer to let you know what is available. Staff needs better coaching
- 4/5
Quick and efficient check-in
- 5/5
Very clean facility. Staff was friendly. Perfect location to take in a Giants game. Will be a repeat customer
- 5/5
The area is clean and safe to walk around.
- 5/5
Stayed here with girlfriends for a concert at Oracle Park. The location was perfect and the roof top bar is an added plus. I wish they had an option for valet parking but there is a lot close by. Will stay here again for a game or another concert.
- 5/5
Perfect location if your going to oracle park. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is amazing. Only downfall is if you want to have a few drinks after game this is not for you, since the bar closes at 10pm on weekends. 😞
- 5/5
Parking not ideal. Property was nice and location was great. Breakfast could have been better, I would not pay for that option again.
- 5/5
Close to Oracle!
- 4/5
Good hotel. Super close to some fun things! I hate that parking is so expensive as well as limited. We had to park at a different parking structure for soooo much money
- 4/5
Excelente
- 5/5
Perfect for giants game, 2 min walk!
- 4/5
Location was great close to ballpark and restaurants. Parking was not available.
- 3/5
,Crowded and the girl at the front desk when we checked in was Rude.
- 5/5
Great service
- 4/5
Room was nice and clean, and friendly staff. I would say beds seemed small though (double not queen?) so trickier if sharing with someone. Rooms are smaller as well but that’s typical in SF. Great location for concert at Oracle Park- so close and easy to walk around. Parking was pricey though ($120 a night) and on site was full so we had to park at another spot nearby. Though it felt safe.
- 2/5
I picked this hotel for my daughter and her friend and I’m extremely upset that the toilet didn’t work upon their arrival, maintenance didn’t come until next day at check out to try and fix it and they couldn’t pull the blinds up so they had to stay in a dark hotel room!!! That never got fixed Definitely not worth the price, and Parking is $90. That’s outrageous.!
- 5/5
Overall, hotel is great. The parking situation is not very great.
- 4/5
Nice property, clean and good location if you’re going to a baseball game, but parking is a challenge.
- 4/5
A little disappointed in the lack of amenities. Staff was very friendly, and professional. One day a young executive will discover a new and exciting coffee bar within the room.
- 1/5
No parking have park cross street at parking garage off lot - pillows very small and uncomfortable. - dog was barking all day
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Great location in downtown San Francisco
- 2/5
No shopping, barley any restaurants in walking distance
- 5/5
Great Location near Oracle Park.
- 5/5
Appreciated proximity to the ballpark.
- 4/5
Appreciated we were able to check in early with no added fee. However, we were not advised that we would be put into a handicap room. Overall, not a big deal but the shower created quite a wet mess across our bathroom floor. Also not idea the bar areas didn't open until 4 and were already closed when we returned from the concert around 1115.
- 4/5
Room was clean. Small, but that doesnt bother me, may bother those with more people staying in a room. Lobby and costumer service was geeat too. The only thing that bothered me was the parking situation. No access to the garage and you had to always ask someone to give you access. But other than that, place was cool.
- 5/5
Super conformable

- 5/5
Ana was so helpful with directions, water and generally very friendly!!
- 4/5
Parking should be clearly communicated that it is limited and extra $$. Parking fees also seem to fluctuate depending on nearby events which is also not clearly communicated.
- 5/5
Clean and staff was very accommodating to our needs.
- 5/5
Location
- 5/5
Fabulous! Nice and helpful staff. Clean hotel. Coziest beds and pillows . I was actually able to sleep very comfortably which is rare for me at hotels! Very close to Oracle Park , super convenient for ball games /concerts. I would love to stay here again .
- 5/5
Convenient for sports and concert venues.
- 2/5
Although I appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel, the lack of sound insulation and frequent disturbances significantly affected my experience. I would not recommend this hotel to travelers who are looking for a quiet or restful stay.
- 5/5
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Stay stay was comfortable - with accomodation requests highly considered. Overall experience during our time was extremely positive.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
- 5/5
Stayed here several times when having to have medical appointments at UCSF.
- 4/5
The room was very clean. The bathroom, however, only had one bath towel, one hand towel, and one wash cloth. When we asked for more they brought them up quickly. Parking was not so good. Our trip there was to see a couple of Giants games. The walk to the ballpark was short. Overall, it was a great trip.
- 5/5
Perfect location for Oracle Park!
- 4/5
We booked this hotel for its proximity to Oracle Park to watch the San Fransisco Giants ballgame. The hotel is only 1 block away from the Park which made it very convenient. The surrounding atmosphere on game days were energetic with lots of people walking on the streets around the Park. There were enough eating places nearby for all times of the day. Our stay here was fun. The only downside about our stay was that our room was on the 11th floor, which was below the rooftop lounge/bar. It got noisy and disruptive late at night and made it difficult to sleep right away. If that doesn't bother you, than the 11th floor rooms should be fine. Otherwise it's recommended that the lower floor levels should be requested for.
- 5/5
One night stay after Giants game. Check in was great and got us in earlier than expected!
