The location was amazing right across from Oracle stadium and a short walk to the chase center. The view was incredible we had a corner room with views of the bay bridge and the San Francisco city sky line. Breakfast was great and the staff was super helpful. Definitely will stay again

Love how close it is to Oracle park! There is no valet parking and the “parking garage” they have only has 10 parking spots. There is a public parking garage just across the street which charges $80 a day but make sure you leave before the 24 hours is up or else you will get charged the full $80 again even if you are 1 minute late!

Great stay, clean, and near our venue. Only complaint would be not being able to watch t.v. Otherwise recommend this place to stay.

The staff was amazing! There was a problem and they jumped on it and solved it for me. The two gentlemen at the desk went above and beyond for us and I greatly appreciate them both so much! The bartender was super friendly and nice and had great suggestions for things to see and place to eat.

The hotel is near Oracle Park, and my son is very passionate about baseball. The area is home to numerous restaurants and bars. Hyatt has always been my preferred choice due to its unique room character, with an excellent spacious bathroom. The staff at that Hyatt hotel is very accommodating and friendly. We are very satisfied and would stay again if we return to San Francisco. Special thanks to the housekeeping staff — she was thorough, friendly, and left us a kind note after cleaning our room. The San Francisco Downtown Hyatt is always our go to place when visiting San Francisco. The staff are all exceptional, the property always clean and well maintained and the connecting restaurant is some of the best clean food we have eaten.

Quiet hotel, walking distance to Oracle Park, coffee shops and restaurants. Hotel parking garage was full so we had to park across the street in a garage, which was fine ($30 for 24hrs). Room was basic, pretty clean, but bedding and shower could use some upgrading. Fire pit area on street level was really nice.

This hotel is steps away from the Willie Mays entrance gate at Oracle Park. The staff is extremely accommodating when it comes to storing luggage for those going to a day game or upon check out. There’s a public parking garage across the street which is very convenient and safe.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was well kept and spacious. If you are a Giants or Warriors fan, this is a great place to stay.

The hotel has a good location (wonderful, if you are a baseball fan). It is clean and the fitness room is ample and well-maintained. We had a minor problem with our television, and the staff handled it promptly and kindly.

The staff was warm, friendly, and very helpful. The gentleman who assisted us during check-in on Wednesday around 4 p.m. was especially helpful. I believe he was from India, though I apologize if I am mistaken.

The staff are very friendly and responsive. They found my hat that I left in the outside patio area and return it to me. The breakfast is good. It is very close to Oracle park, so there are many families staying here for the game. If there are anything that can be done better, is that to thoroughly dust the furniture and night stand.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. The location can't be beat for going to a Giants game or walking anywhere along the Embarcadero! Only mild disappointment was the high floor room (as requested) has a view of the back of surrounding apartments and not a city view. But I suppose I should have asked that when checking in. Otherwise, everything was great! Good breakfast too.

This was the perfect day for an overnight trip to watch the Giants game. The rooms were clean and the included breakfast was fun. The staff was extra friendly and we really enjoyed our stay and we’ll definitely be back.

Location was ideal for going to a concert at the chase center, and is located right across from the stadium, so if you're looking for a place to stay before/after a Giant's game, this is an incredible spot. Felt very safe, and there were lots of parking garages around. Room was standard, breakfast was decently fresh American fare, and was easy to walk from here too. Soundproofing could use work since we could hear folks walking by the room and chatting, along with doors closing, but couldn't hear above or below us, so wouldnt rate it lower because of that. Overall, a great stay for a good price in a safe part of the city.

We were were unable to enjoy your breakfast because we participated in the Bay to Breakers race. That started at 8 am. You breakfast bar only opened at 7 am that Sunday, which, sadly, doesn’t leave sufficient time for digestion until race start. Open your breakfast bar at 6 am.

We went to see a Dodgers/Giants baseball game, The property is a block away from the stadium. It is also a block away from the train, so it was easy to get around town. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Reserve parking as it is very limited

The breakfast is always convenient, especially since there aren’t a lot of breakfast places in the area. On the second day of our stay, they were running behind on clean plates and silverware… But it wasn’t too long before they brought some more.

Stayed at Hyatt Place San Francisco/Downtown and had a great experience. The rooms were super clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location could not be better. It’s only a block away from Oracle Park and close to everything downtown. Perfect spot if you’re in town for a game or just exploring the city. Have stayed here many times in the past and will again in the future.

Didn’t get a chance to go down for breakfast; it ended at 9:30am and we woke up a little late. Parking was really tight and a bit pricey at $95 a night, and we had to move the car out promptly at 11:00am. Staff were really nice and the hotel was clean. The stay was convenient for attending the baseball game with 4 kids.

It was a great location for seeing a show at Chase Center. We had an emergency and wanted to cancel 30 days before our stay. They had zero flexibility on the 33 days prior cancellation policy.

I picked this hotel because it was close to the stadium and it definitely in, but parking was a nightmare. The hotel was loud and we kept getting woken up by other guests and how loud they were in the hours leading up to our early morning flight.

AC was great. Room is super. Quiet. Slept like a baby. The staff was incredible. Welcoming and very personable. I would definitely stay again. Didn’t get a chance for breakfast or the bar but looked very cozy. Kept luggage until room was ready. I had no idea this hotel was so close and convenient to the ballpark. Will stay there again.

The location is perfect for catching a baseball game. The room was clean, the staff is amazing and friendly. I appreciated that my room was ready early and the time I did wait they kept my bags so I could explore the city. When my room was ready I received a text, it was easy and efficient.

The room was not in the best shape. Not what we would expect from a Hyatt property. The shower was discolored and missing grout in many areas. Walls and blinds had damage. The positives were the friendly staff and location.

Parking big problem end very expensive for one day

The room was large and clean, and the shower was quite spacious. Staff was very helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast very much— $14 each for all you can eat, and the food was hot & very tasty. The bar was quite nice, although pours were not generous. We stored our luggage for another day about town and it was retrieved safely and efficiently. We did not use the shuttle—didn’t know there was one!

I needed a comfortable, quiet room, and this place fit the bill. I was returning from a long international Holdiay and I needed to fix my sleep prior to getting a train ride south.

From the moment we walked in we were greeted by friendly staff who made sure we knew their names and the services and times available. Our room was spotless, with plenty of towels for 2 adults and 2 children. Breakfast was top notch. It was fresh, with a wide variety of healthy foods to choose from. It was well stocked and very clean! The price is right for a family going to the UCSF Children’s Hospital for appointments, or for baseball fans who want to stay the night close to the action! The first time we stayed was during the hight of Covid. We’ve tried to make the drive and appointments, then return home same day, but it isn’t worth the stress. We highly recommend this Hyatt location!

They need to be transparent about their parking situation. First of all its not free. And 2nd of all they dont have enough so if their garage is full you're out of luck and need to go somewhere else to park.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The city view from our room was amazing! We loved the patios, especially the one near the fitness center. It's a great location and we had an easy time walking to bars/restaurants and catching the muni bus a block away. We can't wait to stay there again for Giants game!

We stayed on a rather warm day and the courtyard was very beautiful when we sat outside during breakfast. It would be nice if breakfast was included in your stay. We signed up for rewards and got breakfast complimentary for signing up.

The room was clean and we enjoyed the view of the city. The proximity to Chase Center allowed us to walk to and from our event. Our only complaint is that the loud fan in the bathroom wouldn’t turn off; we called the front desk and they didn’t have another similar room to switch us to. The front desk did, however, compensate us by refunding our breakfast at the hotel in the morning.

Front desk staff were polite and welcoming. Room was clean with all amenities working as they should. Only real issue I had was being told on-site parking was $95 for the night. If we wanted to pay a fraction of it, we would need to park off-site. The off-site parking was around the corner. Carrying bags and walking in cold was just not it. Super inconvenient.

The room is in good condition. The staff is good, but my only note is the garage so if we are outside and and we arrive to the hotel. We have to get up of the car and go inside to the hotel and let them know that we arrive and then we go back to our car then we go to the garage to park our car. this is kind of exhausting other than that everything is good.

Comfortable clean rooms, parking charge is a little ridiculous but that’s the city for you. Room was fairly priced considering most were double the amount per night during no major event(s). I would stay here again, close to the stadium and walking distance to a few places like Lucky Strike. During the week everything closes pretty early, plan to take a taxi. Staff was very nice.

I would highly recommend this Hyatt to anyone staying in the downtown China basin park area in SF. So many cool features to explore from the great aura of the fireplaces outside (close at 11pm) to the roof top on the 9th floor with beautiful succulents and views of the 2nd street bridge.

The Customer Service I received from Vagish, Itai, Alexis, and all other staff was phenomenal!! The room and hotel was immaculate and very clean. I will definitely be returning! Five Star Service !!

The front desk staff were excellent.

The workout area needs attention: None of the treadmills or ellipticals had the TV working on anything other than 2 channels. The water dispenser was empty at 5:30am. The sanitation wipe bucket was clogged and i couldn't access a wipe. The ice machine and water dispenser just outside the workout center was also not working...it was the only amenity i experienced so i can't say it was a 5 star experience.

Receptionist was super nice. The view of the city was nice. However, there is no hotel parking. Well, there is but they only have 10 spots and its 94$ per night. The parking garage down the street was 30$ per night. Secondly, if you're a late sleeper, housekeeping will wake you up early (around 9am) asking if you need cleaning. Careful on your checkout date because again, they will try and come in if you dont answer the door quick enough after they knock. Check out was at 11am and at 9am they were trying to come in to clean the room when we hadnt checked out yet. I probably won't be staying here again.

Great place to stay, the parking is very expensive and they didn’t tell us that it’s tied to your stay, meaning if you arrive at 4pm. you’ll be charge for the full day at 11am tomorrow after check out, not the 24hr period.

Good hotel, clean. Early check in was easy. One of the outlets didnt work and the breakfast was mid, but I don’t care much about those details. Staff was nice and receptive and fairly central to a lot of cool places. Right next to the ball park, so great if you want to hit a game.

When checking out we kindly told the staff member and she gave us points for our next stay which was nice.

very basic hotel. Pictures make it look much nicer than it is. Parking garage was full upon my arrival so I had to hunt down a secured parking garage. The parking garage was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel in a city where parking is difficult and can be dangerous.

No one helped us open the door when we were struggling with our bags. Window washing at 4am woke us up for hours.

Staff was fantastic, took my bag for me very early so i could explore the city before check in time. Hotel was very modern and well kept. Rooms were nice!

The area was nearby Chase Center if you love to watch ballgame thats a great place to stay. Parking wont be available at the site if you have truck due to height limitation however there are lots of parking around the area with lesser fee. Would definitely recommend and be back here.

Nice room on the 11th floor with an expansive city view. Located just down the street from Oracle Park, and a short walk to the SF Bayside walk. Surrounding area has a few restaurants, bars, and there is a Safeway supermarket about 5 minutes away on foot. The room was a decent size with a lounging seat/mini sofa, bed was comfortable, bathroom was pristine. Staff were very friendly.

The staff was wonderful, close to Orca park, and rooms were very cozy! Everything was great! Only negative i would say, i dont think our room waa vacuumed before we go there because there was oreo cookie pieces on the carpet between the couch and bed. Other than that, i would definitely stay again!

Wonderful place to stay the only negative is that the hotel parking lot was full so we had to park across the street. But the staff was AMAZING! They recommended a garage nearby with a reasonable rate.

Would benefit from some tlc

There was no parking available for a pickup truck, and there was no warning of it ahead. There was also no concierge to help you out with the bags. Not up to Hyatt standards, in my opinion.

Staff is THE BEST! So friendly from check in to big friendly smiles and greetings from housekeeping! My only Con is that the A/C seems to go down to minimum when you are sleeping because there is no movement in the room to trigger the occupancy sensor so it gets a little stuffy at night.

The hotel itself feels modern and welcoming. The lobby is spacious, stylish, and gives a great first impression. My room was clean, updated, and comfortable with a great city view. The bed and linens were high quality, and I appreciated the large windows that brought in a lot of natural light. The amenities were strong as well. The fitness center was well-equipped, and the on-site dining options were convenient with good food and coffee. Staff service was consistently professional—friendly at check-in, quick to answer questions, and helpful with directions around the city. Like most downtown San Francisco hotels, parking is limited and on the pricier side, but given the central location, that’s expected. Overall, I’d recommend this Hyatt to anyone visiting San Francisco who wants a reliable, upscale hotel in a prime location.

This hotel is so great for access to Oracle Park and the waterfront. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Comfortable room and beds. Excellent Peruvian restaurant and bar on the rooftop.

Except for the parking was full. If you get a room there shoud be a spot available for you. But then again the price of parking there is very expensive as well. Rather get a room outside of the city and uber inti the city for fun and things.

The hotel is pretty and is in a great area for walking around, however the hotel itself has limited parking for $95 a night and no valet. We were told it was “in and out parking privileges” but we weren’t told that once we left the garage to come into the hotel there was no way to get back into the garage without a staff member. The rooftop restaurant is beautiful but extremely busy, there is also a restaurant/bar in the lobby but it was not open at all while we were there so it felt difficult for actual guests of the hotel to get food/drinks. We noticed the hotel had a delivery area for DoorDash orders which further gave us the impression to find food outside of the hotel. Our room was nice, we paid extra for a high level room but the view was pretty much directly into the apartments across from us, we also found leftover food from a previous guest in our mini fridge, we weren’t told about the master electricity switch in our room which we figured out, we also weren't told our towels were inside of the shower so we requested extra not realizing. Overall, the hotel isn’t bad but it’s not at all worth the higher price tag

The staff was very helpful with great personalities. Our room was as advertised and comfortable. There’s not a lot of parking on site but there was a lot of parking within 1/2 block from the hotel with drop off in front.

The suite was nice. It was a one bedroom but no door to make it a private space. Its bathroom had a motion sensor on the light which I didn't like. I don't need a bright light shining at me in the middle of the night but there's no option to turn it off. The breakfast was mediocre. If driving, there's several spots in front to drop off luggage. The hotel itself doesn't have valet and only limited parking spots, so we parked across the street at a parking garage for $30 a day, which seemed reasonble. Overall the experience was good.

Upon check-in on Friday, we were informed hotel parking was at capacity and directed to use public parking garage down the street. We had no choice but then found out that the garage did not permit access to vehicle 12a-6a… which was an issue as we had an early morning flight Sunday. The hotel had a solution- we could “try to park on the street” the second night. This option felt unsafe and I expressed concerns. After explaining the situation we were in, they understood the issue. The front desk agent was helpful in helping to “reserve” a space in their garage for the second night so we could access the vehicle early morning Sunday. Come to find out- they only have 8 spots for the entire hotel. We were grateful for the “reserved” space but they need to make it clear that parking with them is an option for less than a percent of their customers. If you have a vehicle and need to park it somewhere- this just is a disaster for you.

Amazing Staff!!

With the hotel going through a transition with the program they use, I was accidentally charge twice for my room. I was able to contact the hotel and have it be corrected. Alexis and Genevieve both were amazing in their professionalism with dealing with the issue. We will definitely be back!

We stayed here as a family with young children. I liked how the walls seemed sound proof, since my toddler enjoyed being loud. The shower in the evening took a long time to heat up. I was shivering as I was waiting for it to be at a decent temperature to use. The soap that was supplied seemed to have a residue to it after washing your hands, which I didn't like since it made it seem like your hands were never really washed. The bed was nice and i appreciated the black out curtains. Our family really enjoyed the breakfast that the hotel served.

Breakfast is offered but selections are limited. Disappointed the hotel had no restaurant in the premises. Staff is helpful when you push to get help but do not openly volunteer to let you know what is available. Staff needs better coaching

Stayed here with girlfriends for a concert at Oracle Park. The location was perfect and the roof top bar is an added plus. I wish they had an option for valet parking but there is a lot close by. Will stay here again for a game or another concert.

Perfect location if your going to oracle park. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is amazing. Only downfall is if you want to have a few drinks after game this is not for you, since the bar closes at 10pm on weekends. 😞

Great location for concert at Oracle Park- so close and easy to walk around. Parking was pricey though ($120 a night) and on site was full so we had to park at another spot nearby. Though it felt safe.

I picked this hotel for my daughter and her friend and I’m extremely upset that the toilet didn’t work upon their arrival, maintenance didn’t come until next day at check out to try and fix it and they couldn’t pull the blinds up so they had to stay in a dark hotel room!!! That never got fixed Definitely not worth the price, and Parking is $90. That’s outrageous.!

Appreciated we were able to check in early with no added fee. However, we were not advised that we would be put into a handicap room. Overall, not a big deal but the shower created quite a wet mess across our bathroom floor. Also not idea the bar areas didn't open until 4 and were already closed when we returned from the concert around 1115.

Room was clean. Small, but that doesnt bother me, may bother those with more people staying in a room. Lobby and costumer service was geeat too. The only thing that bothered me was the parking situation. No access to the garage and you had to always ask someone to give you access. But other than that, place was cool.

Although I appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel, the lack of sound insulation and frequent disturbances significantly affected my experience. I would not recommend this hotel to travelers who are looking for a quiet or restful stay.

Stayed here several times when having to have medical appointments at UCSF.

The room was very clean. The bathroom, however, only had one bath towel, one hand towel, and one wash cloth. When we asked for more they brought them up quickly. Parking was not so good. Our trip there was to see a couple of Giants games. The walk to the ballpark was short. Overall, it was a great trip.

Perfect location for Oracle Park!

We booked this hotel for its proximity to Oracle Park to watch the San Fransisco Giants ballgame. The hotel is only 1 block away from the Park which made it very convenient. The surrounding atmosphere on game days were energetic with lots of people walking on the streets around the Park. There were enough eating places nearby for all times of the day. Our stay here was fun. The only downside about our stay was that our room was on the 11th floor, which was below the rooftop lounge/bar. It got noisy and disruptive late at night and made it difficult to sleep right away. If that doesn't bother you, than the 11th floor rooms should be fine. Otherwise it's recommended that the lower floor levels should be requested for.
