Reviews
Hotel G in San Francisco is praised for its central location near Union Square, shopping, and dining options. The staff is consistently commended for their friendliness and helpfulness. However, some guests express dissatisfaction with the room amenities, such as small bathrooms, lack of carpeting, and thin walls causing noise disturbances.

We would definitely stay here again.

Overall, it was a pleasant surprise and would highly recommend staying here!
- 3/5
Staff was kind, room was a little outdated, bed was comfortable, could hear neighboring rooms talking
- 5/5
But once more echoed the vibe. The in-room Nespresso coffee machine was a real treat. Nice! The staff we encountered were wonderful. Polite and helpful. We would stay at Hotel G on a subsequent visit for sure.
- 4/5
I really liked the hotel and staff. Everyone is enthusiastic, helpful and courteous. The hotel is clean and well-appointed but in the midst of updating. Only one working elevator when we were there but that didn’t cause any undue delays for us. I would recommend adding a spare blanket to the closet for guests that might feel the need for a bit of extra warmth at night or just some added heft to the bedding. Super location to many venues and superb fine dining in downtown SF.
- 4/5
Centrally located. Easy to get to all we wanted to see from the hotel The site said nothing about renovations. Only one working elevator, and the lighting in the bathroom is very dim. Left an item of jewelry behind but they claim it was not found, I even told them where it fell… it was early in the morning when I heard it but it didn’t register until I was in another state flying home
- 4/5
I did not have any concerns about the overall cleanliness. Staff were helpful, especially since I checked in very early (due to my flight's arrival) and got a room as soon as one became available. I did not try out the breakfast or bring a car, so I cannot comment about those issues. (I ate at the Mason Diner and Pinecrest Diner; both are within a 4-minute walk.) The hotel lobby did look like it was being renovated. Only one of the two working elevators was working. The working elevator had hard plastic coverings over its interior panels, and there were a few signs indicating upgrades were in progress. The central Union Square location was a short walk to the Moscone Center. I did not have any overt safety concerns, but unfortunately the surrounding blocks had a lot of scaffolding, making some sidewalks darker than desirable.
- 3/5
Terrible cheap bedding, uncomfortable mattress and really thin cheap pillows. Wouldn’t stay again.
- 2/5
It’s a good location and the rooms are spacious. But that’s about it. The property is old. My room had cracks in the floor that was kind of patched. The bathroom is really tiny. Hard to keep your stuff. Only one elevator was working and it was slow. The staff were friendly enough. What you would expect, but not great. I won’t recommend the hotel. You will find better deals in the area for the same price.

- 5/5
Felt like having my own place in San Francisco! Loved the old building and the staff is top-notch. Definitely walkable to Moscone and is next to all the best shopping in the city. Perfect location for exploring the city! Super close to muni/streetcar.
- 5/5
Stayed here multiple times & each stay was convenient and comfortable. This recent stay had a larger room which was really nice. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and decor was appropriate for a modern minimalist aesthetic. Street noise was not an issue and the large window seemed effective at dampening sound. The room was cozy and perfect for a solo traveler; however, it was smaller than a typical hotel but this is to be expected in an old building located at the center of a busy big city. I especially appreciated the open closet-type space which helped me keep clothing organized, with 8 total hangers and a dresser with two drawers. The bathroom was small--fine for one person, but probably tight with two people. The plumbing fixtures were somewhat dated, but worked fine, with near-instant hot water and adequate water pressure. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, only a window. Heat and a/c worked fine. Location was great, and the main reason I booked the room. Central to most anything within SF with uber/lyft <$20.

It was the Chinese new year parade. They didn't let us know that the entire block would be closed off and that it would be HELL. Trying to check in
- 5/5
Lovey room with thoughtful and tasteful updates that kept the architectural character. Surprisingly quiet room and very helpful staff that seemed to genuinely want to help. The bar onsite was AWESOME.
- 5/5
Nice boutique hotel. Very friendly staff. This hotel is on a cleaner street than many hotels in this area of SF. We had a great time.
- 3/5
The room itself was nice, albeit small, which I understand happens in metropolis. Our room keys stopped working everyday we were there which is a pain to have to remember to check it before you leave the room to see if it’s working. Especially since you can’t use the elevator without it. There was only one elevator working which means it took forever, and it only fits maybe 6 people if squeezed tightly. At one point I waited 10 minutes for the elevator which was being used by the staff. There is also only one luggage cart which you have to wait your turn if it is close to check out time. It wasn’t a bad place per se but I expected more for the high rating.
- 5/5
Great location, very helpful staff, it's great to see that they brought back daily housekeeping and have restaurants again.
- 3/5
The hotel was in an excellent location and I appreciated the affordable price. Hot water took 10 minutes, the gym lacked maintenance (5/6 treadmills were non-operating, no towels), coffee maker wasn’t working and elevators are under construction. Staff was pleasant and friendly.
- 4/5
I chose to do a staycation at Hotel G (5/15/26-5/18/26) and it was a decent stay! I did request upon arrival a microwave and robe with slippers and those did "welcome" me when I got into my room. The staff were friendly from beginning to end; they accommodate my late-check out request (1pm instead of 12pm). I didn't give it quite 5 out of 5 because they are doing maintenance work on of the two elevators, so that can get congested, but didn't know about this until I arrived. Other than that, if you want to stay at a hotel that is in Union Square/Downtown, then look no further than Hotel G!
- 4.5/5
The location was perfect for attending an event at August Hall. I also liked the fact that you needed a key to enter the hotel after a certain time and to access floors via the elevators.

The bedsheets and pillowcases looked clean, but there was a faint yet persistent smell coming from the comforter or somewhere in the room.. That was another reason I did not sleep well.
- 4/5
There are cement floors and the heater didn't work very well. I had to order an extra blanket and also sleep in my sweatshirt. My shower was also luke warm, not hot. That was the only downside, but otherwise a nice hotel.
- 5/5
It exceeded all expectations. I will stay there again for sure. Very convenient location, walking distance to all the shops and restaurants.
- 3.5/5
Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable Nice fixtures, bathroom floor tile, plush headboard Streaming tv Cooling/heat system is old, outdated, and SUPER loud (although it did help eliminate the street noise). No attempt to modernize or just improve general room/building conditions (old wood trim painted over hastily, old 70’s looking windows covered in city grime, etc. Elevator was SLOW and covered completely in a weird vinyl paper and although it had signs say it was undergoing refurbishment, the signs seemed like they had been there a long time. Lobby and hallways were dark and dreary.

I stayed here for business and it was a great hotel for that - quiet, amenities like an iron and ironing board, and a great restaurant in the lobby so I didn’t have to search for a place to eat after a long day of meetings. The staff were friendly and helpful. It’s an older building but it has been smartly remodeled and my room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Centrally located, right on Union Square and on a better, less scary block (right next to the Westin Saint Francis). I’ll stay there again.
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful and accommodating.
- 2/5
Location. Noisy floors, no water in room. Windows don’t keep noise out from outside leading to sleep issues. Reception staff average.
- 4/5
Waited for room and front desk was slow
- 5/5
Great property and staff
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
Big rooms! Lots of space to walk around and not feel like you're on top of each other. The toilet was to close to the shower for my liking cause my hip was touching the shower door. Staff was nice and the place was under construction which left the elevator looking weird but it functioned fine.

The hotel was nice. Staff were friendly but slow. Rooms were not ready and they said they would call when ready and never did.
- 4/5
Great location. The staff was very helpful and kind.
- 5/5
Valet parking. Minimal street parking. Amazing king suite. Very clean and spacious. Large windows allowing plenty of sunlight into room. Absolutely loved our stay!
- 5/5
Great location. Rooms are very spacious and modern. The bed was very comfortable. I recommend bringing your own water bottle. The hotel has a watering station but no pitchers or containers in the room. You do have the option to buy a reusable water bottle at the front desk. The bar in the hotel has a nice ambiance and good cocktails.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and welcoming. Location was perfect. Rooms had a nice vibe to it.
- 4/5
While I believe that the hotel's ideal was to be some sort of austere chique, it went too far. There was an absolutely fabulously comfort bed; however, the floor was concrete (no rug), there were only two uncushoned wood chairs, a small desk, and a lack of warmth about the room. The concrete floor made the room noisy, the other patrons' room noisy, moving the wood chairs around the room comically loud, and the neospresso machine sound like a hydraulic pump. These are whiny first-world conplaints, but they unfortunately detracted from all the positive aspects of the hotel--the friendly staff, the great location, and the excellent attached restaurant.

Okay room, robes were not provided must be asked for, can hear conversation from next door, good choice for a budget stay.

Location and ease of check-in and check-out . Nice blackout window shades and late check-out time ( 12pm) Small lobby, but since there were no lines of people, it was only a minor issue.

Claudia working at the front desk provided incredible service. She was amazing and very helpful
- 5/5
We had a beautiful corner room, loved the furnishings and lovely marble bathroom. The staff was amazing and they were a trip highlight. We parked off site in a parking garage that was less than a block away, the price was about $37 a day. Great location near Union Square. This is an old building with unique charm and stylish renovations. The hotel was doing some elevator renovations, so only one in use, not a problem for us during our week day travels. The windows need some washing, but other than that no complaints, would absolutely stay here again.
- 3/5
There was a lot of noise, mainly in the morning, in the hallway
- 5/5
i had a very comfortable stay. appreciated the cleanliness of my well-designed room. looking forward to staying here again on my next visit.

C'mon Irene! The lady at check-in was awesome! Nice little hotel!

Parking is in the Westin Garage $50 a day and is valet. Elevator was being renovated when I was there but worked and was fine. Room was spacious and very trendy. Staff was helpful and friendly. Blackout shade really works!

Great spot at a great price!
- 5/5
I appreciated the convenient location and the room was very large. The staff was concerned I'd want to change rooms when they were alerted that there would be over night construction outside. But the room was on the 9th floor and it was very quiet. I had a corner room with nice views and lots of light.
- 5/5
Great location. Valley Club bar is fantastic.

A lot more run down than pictured. No water bottles . Very noisy - walls are paper thin. Sink is not in the bathroom.

Friendly staff. Overall good stay. Fair size room. The only thing I didn’t like was the concrete floor. Oh and one more: the position of the tv.

Hotel G's location is great! Restaurants nearby and a quick drive to landmarks. It was my first time visiting San Francisco so I wanted to drop off my bags before check in. We were welcomed by Irene? (Eye-Reh-Neh) and was incredibly helpful! She informed us that our room was upgraded and that we were able to check in early. She recommended where to eat, how to contact the hotel for any questions and gave us a wine bottle as a gift. The room was clean and spacious for a party of two and had a nice view of the city. Check out was just as easy! Only stayed for a night but would definitely recommend and come back for a longer visit.

Everything was good. The only issue was toilet ran the whole time and I didn’t realize it was my toilet. I thought it was others using shower or faucet.

Clean room and historic building. the beds are very hard and didn't sleep well. the should be improved for a more restful night for guests. VIP experience was nice, but wine for a NA drinker is a miss.

Clean. Door knob to restroom broken. Tyler was an amazing host.

Great location and room decor & amenities, loved having an onsite restaurant that was quite good. Bed was very comfortable, and we very much appreciated the robes, slippers and microwave. This was hands down the cleanest hotel room we’ve ever stayed in. There wasn’t a speck of dust anywhere, so we were really wowed by that. Taking a bath in the wonderful tub was heavenly, too. We could really hear the sirens and street noise through the windows, but we managed to sleep fine anyway. A friendly ghost experience in this historical property might have been fun.

Close proximity to Union Square shops and Trolley stops/public transportation Small rooms, floors were creaky and bathrooms were not updated
- 3/5
Kind staff, but heater insufficient for how cold it was, room was freezing when we got there and it took an hour until we could even take our winter coats off. Heater would intermittently only kick out cold air until we unplugged it from power to restart it. Coffee maker was broken. Concrete floors and granite in bathroom was so cold. Weird the breakfast bar was closed on weekends. Maybe we would have had a better experience during a warmer season...

The room was lowbrow, the overall decor was ?and there were no basic amenities like creamer or waters in room. The hot water took forever to come on and there was nowhere to buy convenience items. I also think the $40 a day resort fee is too much.

Service was wonderful, the Italian restaurant attached the hotel has a great happy hour and delicious food, highly recommend. Loved the area and proximity to the Financial District and Union Square shopping. I felt safe during my stay as a solo female traveller. Only downfall is the rooms weren't quite as nice as they looked online. The furniture could use with updating, coffee cream in the fridge would have been lovely and perhaps more rugs to cover the cement floors. Otherwise, will likely return as the pros offset any areas of improvement for me and the price was reasonable for SF. Thank you for a great visit!

Great location! Block away from union square. Dislike elevator that you have to use your room key. When checking in my hands a full I’ve tucked away the key only to find out it’s needed to get elevator to move. I understand it’s for the security of staff and guests but I just wish there was another way. Honestly there is nothing I didn’t like about the property. Except elevator.

The room was clean and the staff were courteous. The location was great. There were very small things they could do to greatly improve the aesthetic of the hotel. Nightstands instead of end tables; toilet paper stands for the extra roll of paper instead of just sitting it on the back of the toilet. These things could go a long way toward zshushing the place up. It's an old building and it's reasonable to expect things to be less than stellar, but there are easy ways to improve that would be well worth it.

The G Hotel offered a quiet and convenient stay, with easy access to shopping and restaurants. The hotel had a pleasant industrious atmosphere, and my room was quite spacious and comfortable. I truly appreciated the many great amenities, especially the incredible shower. One suggestion for improvement would be to provide clearer instructions for locating the AC control, as I found it a bit chilly in the evening. Nevertheless, my overall experience was enjoyable, and the staff went out of their way to be helpful.

The staff was exceptional. They were always professional and friendly when I encountered them. The location is great - a good walkable neighborhood with many places to eat and explore. It's close enough to Union Square without feeling the crowd from it. The hotel and rooms are older and smaller, but really well designed and the amenities and comfort level were great. I don't know that I've had a more comfortable bed when away from home. I loved the complimentary coffee and tea available - even more available on request. Only two complaints, and there wasn't much that could be done about it. One was the lack of bathroom counter space. The second was the lack of any view from our room. It was right into the side of another building. But it's nothing to deter me from staying here again.

The entrance looked a bit worn, but the rooms were a decent size, very clean, and good location and had AC. The bathroom was very small but good water pressure.

The room was clean and spacious. I really liked that they had a place you could fill up your water bottle. The hotel bar was amazing and feels like a hidden little spot.

It’s nice clean quiet place

Yes and Irene at the front desk was most helpful. The doorman was also extremely helpful, can't remember hsi name just the accent, maybe Scottish.
- 4.5/5
The location was great close to many restaurants and shopping. The hotel was clean a twist of modern and vintage. The rooms are big which is awesome for a SanFrancisco hotel. The sink in the bathroom is so tiny. Which I get the look and it being vintage but it’s hard to wash your face in it. Other than that it’s functional.

Clean room, nice staff

I have stayed at several properites in San Francisco over the years. This was my first time to Hotel G. It was in a very Good Area being Centrally Located. The Powell Bart is just a few blocks away. The Staff Was Very Friendly. The Check In & Check Out Times are Better then the other places I have Stayed. The check in was at 3pm which is an hour earlier then the other Places I stayed before. The 12 noon check out was Fabulous Too. This was Great since We had been to the Concert the night before at the Chase Center. We did not have breakfast there or did we eat at the restaurant. I will definitely stay here the next time I come to San Francisco.

Great people !

Loved the set up of the room. The high ceilings and the flooring reminded was appreciated. Big rooms and comfortable beds.
- 4/5
Parking was easy.
- 3/5
Clean room but property seems to be outdated
- 4/5
Great place to stay near Union Square. The room was clean and spacious. Lots of dining options in close proximity to the hotel. Right next to August Hall! I did not use the hotels parking but there are many parking garages near that allow overnight parking and are affordable.
- 5/5
Massive room, comfy bed, everything you’d need for a stay in SF
- 5/5
Great hotel. Fun vibe
- 5/5
Check in was so smooth and easy, Joshua was the best! Also all the other staff was super friendly as well.
- 5/5
Room was very clean and had everything I needed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!
- 5/5
Great location near Union Square, was quiet. Water pressure in shower could've been stronger, bed was too firm for my liking, and fridge didn't keep items as cold as I would've preferred. Other than that I loved the decor and the convenient parking. Would definitely visit again.
- 5/5
Enjoyed our stay here. Nice design, simple, clean and quiet. The bed was a little soft but otherwise no complaints. Definitely one of the better stays in union square!

Staff was great and I like that they lock the front doors in the evening, requiring a registered guest to enter

Me and my friend had stayed here overnight and it was amazing. We landed early in the morning and asked to hold our bags they had informed us they will call us when our room is ready as it was gonna be before check in. We walked around when to amazing stores, events, and restaurants all close by. We can gotten back before the call as we needed to retrieve something from our bag and they upgraded us to enter our room even earlier. The staff was all friendly and amazing I will be coming again

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel. It’s an older hotel that’s been renovated to keep up with the times. Amenities have been updated. The room we had looked focused on minimalism which was very good. The bed was nice, the pillows were a little uncomfortable. AC worked very well. The hallways were a bit narrow but can fit the cart. Front desk people were very respectful and accommodating. Housekeeping was also very professional. Parking was very easy to get to. They have valet which was a plus. Got this hotel due to the close proximity to the Nintendo store.

Nice spot
- 5/5
Great service. The stay was a few nights and felt pretty close to the convention. The space was comfortable and didn't have any issues.

Great staff

- 4/5
Ok
- 5/5
Love the mid-century vibe! Large rooms and comfortable beds.
- 5/5
An absolutely lovely stay, highly recommend.
- 3/5
I think the owners spent most of their money on the cute website. Photos discreetly hide the fact that the ‘lobby’ looks like a residence hotel in the Tenderloin and needs a complete overhaul. The elevators are dingy. Bathrooms are very small and the concrete floors and furniture in the rooms don’t feel hip, just cheap. We had to turn off the air conditioner because it made a racket while cycling on and off every ten seconds. On the positive side, the room was clean and the bed and linens were comfortable. Location is excellent. Three stars is very generous… Would not stay here again.

Good and quiet
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and welcoming. stayed in a single bedroom with a queen. very spacious room and big bathroom.
- 1/5
Unfortunately the rest of the stay was equally disappointing. I had to wait nearly thirty minutes and call the front desk twice just to receive towels. The room’s cement floor had sticky residue that clung to my socks which showed a clear lack of cleanliness. Between the rude and hostile treatment the failure to provide basic service the lack of cleanliness and the poorly designed shower I cannot recommend Hotel G to anyone.
- 5/5
This hotel has new charm but still her old character, check in was easy and the location is perfect, places to dine and shop are easily walkable! Had a minor hiccup with my room upon check in , called front desk and was immediately moved to another room! The only thing that was a little annoying was the smoke detector was right outside of the bathroom and the steam from the shower would set it off. The bathroom had no fan to help with the steam and a window couldn’t be opened. Everything else was perfect, would stay here again
- 5/5
I believe the man who checked us in was named Nahn. He was so helpful and kind.
- 5/5
Pleasant stay!!!
- 5/5
Great location, clean room, comfy bed.
- 5/5
The only thing this hotel was missing is a mini fridge. The bed was comfortable, the room was large and clean, the front desk held our bags. No complaints!
- 5/5
Had such a wonderful stay! All of our requests were met within a short span of time! Would stay here again!
- 2/5
The walls are very thin and you can hear other people in other rooms very easily. The hotel is very old and it’s time for a remodel. The floors are very creaky.
- 5/5
Cute spot that was close to the Cheesecake Factory!
- 5/5

It was clean, staff was nice.
- 4/5
Requested late checkout when checking in and still got locked out and questioned before regular check out even started. Also, when called before hand to get late check out we were told 3 at the latest without charge. When checking in was told there would be a charge anytime after 1 pm. Buffet for guests was expensive and mediocre Rooms were clean for the most part. Vallet parking next door was the best part
- 5/5
It was a wonderful stay. Hotel staff
- 5/5
The staff is always so friendly and the hotel is so clean!
- 5/5
Very quiet and spotless. Staff so helpful and genuine.
- 5/5
Spacious room with sitting area plus desk/work area, extremely comfy bed, nice sized bathroom. Independent bar in hotel is new and has strong cocktails and cool 80s swank vibes.
- 2/5
It was extrmeely cold in the room and floor didnt have carpets was impososble to walk on, i even got sick during my stay, had to put towels on the floor to walk. Floor is freezing. Its terrble. Lighting was good in the room but whole atmosphere is not cozy.
- 2/5
Beautiful hotel, but it was so incredibly loud inside I was just amazed. Could hear everything from the couple next door, and everything happening in the hall way. I've never run into that before.
- 5/5
Fast checkin, great assistance and communication with staff, room was clean and spacious, secure entrance after 7pm, all around a great option if you're staying in the Union Square area
- 5/5
My go-to hotel for business trips to SF!

Charming if you like restored, rustic chic. Not my style personally.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel. Friendly staff. Very prompt on any request. Comfy beds and pillows. Spacious rooms. Centrally located in San Francisco. We’d definitely return back.

My boyfriend and I had an overnight staycation. We had made reservations at Mastros right across the street. Cute little hotel perfect for a couples get away. Will definitely rebook!

Nicely restored hotel, great location.
- 5/5
My stay was amazing from checkin to check out. The receptionists Joshua was super friendly & helpful and ensured my stay was perfect.
- 5/5
Nice staff
- 3/5
Location is steps away from Union Square. Tons of dining options and right next to the ACT theater. Free Wi-Fi was a bonus. Parking was a plus. In and out privileges at the Westin (next door) for $50 is a bargain downtown. The hotel is old but has been renovated. Trendy, modern vibe. I booked a king "suite" and it's more like just a larger basic room. Save the extra money and book a regular room. Friendly service. Clean rooms. I was charged an extra $100 for excessive trash which seemed a bit high. I had bought charcuterie type stuff and some chips and crackers, etc. I'm not sure where else I would have disposed of these things except leaving them in the room for the cleaning crew to throw away. Other than that, pleasant stay. I guess pack your trash out???
- 3/5
I liked the pictures of the property online, unfortunately they were nothing like the actual room.
- 5/5
The room was great! Quiet, clean, and comfortable. And its location right near Union Square was very convenient as well. I will stay here again.
- 5/5
Lovely boutique hotel with a lot of charm. Very conveniently located.
- 5/5
The property has a great location next to shops and restaurants. The room was clean and did the job. Friendly staff.
- 4/5
Great location. Friendly staff & always convenient accommodations.
- 5/5
Love that you can cast Netflix from your phone to the TV. $55 parking at location a little much but safe and they valet.
- 5/5
Great hotel and stay!
- 5/5
Great quick stay, Rooms are nice
- 5/5
The property was in a convenient location. My only 'complaint' is that the sink in the bathroom is so small that it was a struggle to wash my face and brush my teeth. There's a shelf right above it so it doesn't leave you much room to tuck your head down. I appreciate the room upgrade and VIP amenity (even though I don't drink). The restaurant downstairs (independently run) is a bit disappointing. Staff was nice and friendly.
- 5/5
Exceeded expectations!
- 2/5
Irene was super friendly and very helpful. She is the bright light of the property.
- 5/5
The hotel is in a good location for walking to restaurants and places of interest. Staff were friendly and accommodating and room was clean and well appointed. Loved the shower pressure too!
- 5/5
Centrally located near metro, bus stops, and cable car, lots of shopping around and a handful of good restaurants. Parking garage available. Restaurant on site had excellent dinner. VIP upgraded room and half wine bottle was an excellent touch. Only downside was tiny bathroom with minimal counterspace
- 5/5
The staff was incredibly friendly. Irene helped up get checked in and she was such a sweetheart! We got upgraded for being a VIP and she made sure we had everything in our room that we were supposed to. We met the manager Ricardo as well and he was super friendly. We will definitely be staying here again, right in the most perfect spot to walk around Union Square.
- 5/5
Great location, unique hotel with an eclectic vibe, large rooms and a powerful shower. I had an enjoyable 2 night stay. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
- 5/5
Super friendly and helpful staff. We've stayed here many times and will definitely be back.
- 5/5
Amazing staff, comfortable and modern accommodations, the restaurant downstairs has great cocktails.

Always stay at ’G’ beautiful rooms
- 5/5
This was our second stay at Hotel G and I can say with certainty that we will be back. We enjoyed our room and found it relatively quiet and the hotel itself to feel safe and secure.
- 5/5
Great location room was clean a lot or public transportation around here. Safe for the solo travels! Recommended
- 5/5
Staff is friendly and the hotel was lovely. Location is central to everything and overall accommodations were 5 stars acriss the board, would totally stay here again.
- 5/5
Great stay! Clean and tidy. Floors were creaky but overall a really nice room and great location!
- 5/5
A very clean, chic hotel with good amenities. Checkin/out staff were very friendly. We stayed here for a night because we had a birthday party in the area. I went with my gut and booked this hotel, which was about $20-30 more but worth it because it’s in a stretch further from the Tenderloin, away from all the homeless and poop on the street. We walked down the hill and Market ST this morning and am so glad we avoided all the crap (literally & figuratively) on the street last night.
- 5/5
Great property
- 1/5
Got bait and switched, paid for a suite, but was given a normal sized room (for the same price)
- 5/5
Comfortable and convenient at a good rate.
- 5/5
The lobby floors were concerning when we first arrived...condition was rough. The lobby furniture was fine, the check in desk great. Staff was phenomenal. Loved both the check in and the checkout staff. Friendly, informative and helpful. The room was beautiful. Large with all of the amenities, a safe, refrigerator, coffee maker, tv, desk and wonderful bath amenities. Everything was clean, actually, spotless! Room 1209 was great. Lots of windows with views in many directions. Loved it. We will stay again.
- 5/5
i had a wonderful stay. thank you!
- 2/5
The overall staff was good but this one guy david I think was rude. He was mean when I was at the front desk
- 5/5
The person on night shift was excellent helpful and prompt
- 5/5
The staff at this property accommodates me very well every time I’ve stayed here, they’re quick to help you solve problems. I needed to check in early and they were able to find me a room earlier than expected. I love staying at this hotel !
- 5/5
The design of the room was very hip, and it was spacious. The shower was great. Everyone at the front desk was super helpful and accommodating. I didn’t have a chance to eat in the attached restaurant but it looked good. The location is convenient.
- 4/5
Stayed for 2 nights for my bfs birthday. Upgraded our room for free! Room was very clean and spacious with decent view. However, when showering the water would drench the bathroom floor because there was nothing to keep the water in the shower. Had to use lots of towels but even that wasn’t helpful. Right next to union square, 12-13mins from the piers. Was walking distance to a lot of places to eat and bars, including John’s grill!
