Geary Parkway Motel At Mine Hospitality

The room itself was exceptionally clean, and the bed and pillows were super comfy. It was the perfect place to crash after a long day of exploring. My only real heads-up is that our room faced the street, so it did get noisy with traffic at times. If you're a light sleeper, I'd suggest grabbing some earplugs or requesting a room away from the street. Overall, it's a great, comfortable spot in SF with excellent service. We would definitely stay here again! great location ....close enough to Golden gate park too

We enjoyed our stay at this motel. The room was newly remodeled, spotless and comfortable. The manager was friendly, helpful and went out of his way to ensure that we a pleasant experience. Having convenient on-site parking was an added bonus. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

it was recently renovated. There were also no odors, which is important to us as we are allergic to pets and dislike the smell of smoke. I personally liked that the room didn’t have carpeting as it made for a cleaner floor. The motel is on a semi busy street so there is some street noise but the motel was thoughtful enough to provide ear plugs for those who needed it. There are also limited parking spots that’s offered on a first come first served basis. The fee was $20 a night. The staff was very friendly and helpful so a 👍 to them. We would definitely consider staying here again the next time we’re in town.

Easy quiet stay

The location is perfect and the price is reasonable for the area. It's my go-to when I'm in San Francisco. I was one night when the outdoor fire alarm was pulled. Having no staff there meant it took longer for the issue to be resolved.

Fantastic cleanliness and room itself. Not only was the staff great but they gave me free parking for a night as well. First time in San Francisco and it turns out that parking isn’t all too good. Although the parking here was given complimentary, it was still hard to get in and out.

I like the location Nothing

Very clean and looks newly renovated in a very basic no-frills kind of way. Comfortable bed and bright and clean bathroom. Air-conditioning unit helped drown out external noise to some extent. Convenient location and close to many restaurants and parks as well as access to public transport right outside. No coffee machine not even those basic one cup inexpensive ones. The motel is on a busy road but the most annoying part is that there is major construction on the road directly in front of the motel. The heavy big machines start drilling quite early in the morning and the noise and vibrations can be felt loud and clear. Hopefully once the work is over it will be fine.

didn't know that there was a breakfast. Read that it was offered but the manager said nothing about it when I checked in. I liked it that my parking space was reserved. Apparently, the whole Hotel was rebuilt as everything in the hotel room was quality and looked brand new. Except two doors jammed a bit. Had to pay $20 for parking and the cost for two nights at the hotel was almost twice what I paid 4 or 5 years ago.

My friend and I had a great experience here. The room was great, very clean and comfortable and very modern. Vijay and staff were exceptional and absolutely went above and beyond to accommodate us!! They were even willing to hold onto our bags for a few hours after checkout while we explored SF for one more afternoon, which was a huge help because we were nervous about leaving anything valuable in our car for too long. I would definitely recommend this place to friends looking to visit SF, especially if they need a place to park a car!

Greatly exceeded my expectations for a motel! The heater was quite loud

The location was ideal for our needs, easy walk to the parks, lots of fun restaurants and shops nearby, quick access to the Golden Gate bridge. Our host was very caring, checking with us regularly to see if there was anything else we might need. And the price was far more reasonable than many other San Francisco options! If you're looking for high luxury, this is not that. If you are looking for a basic clean, comfortable place to lay your head after a busy day exploring and don't want to spend beaucoup bucks, it might be perfect for you.

The room was clean and modern. Close to Golden Gate Park. The owners were really nice.

The bed was comfortable, the room was clean. I asked for an upstairs room but I was assigned to an ADA room downstairs. I am not handicapped I did not need an ADA room. I communicated several times by text and email that I wanted an upstairs room and my requests were ignored. I would have been happy to pay more to have an upstairs room but no one responded to my requests for an upstairs room. The people upstairs were noisy and the Ada room was next to the stairwell which was extremely noisy. This was the reason I wanted an upstairs room to begin with, so I did not sleep. It was not a good experience and I would not recommend the hotel. I do not appreciate the lack of human communication.

Some malfunctioning lights and outlets, missing bulbs, noisy room heater, discolored caulking in shower. Good value for overnight stay, but wouldn’t feel comfortable if wife accompanied me to this motel.

Clean and convenient. Well priced. Noisy from road traffic but that goes with the good price. Off street parking.

English language was a problem, could not properly understand & communicate. When advised that the room door was wide open, and there were no towels in the bathroom, kept asking why want more towels…because there are ‘t any! Rude & non apologetic for their lack of complying. Bathroom had one bulb missing. & one burnt out. Lots of visible mold on peeling walls & ceiling…yuck! Ceiling fan dropping chunks of dirt, electrical tape used for drywall repair?

I have stayed here numerous times over the years and I could not believe how down hill it has gotten. The initial draw was off street parking without charge and a simple clean room at a reasonable price. Now the only draw is the parking. Very disappointed

The location was great, but the quality of the property was poor; clean but tired and repairs and replacements were needed. The door's hotel security latch was broken (see photo). There was mold in the shower and the floors were spongy from rot. We were disappointed about the promise of "grab and go" breakfast; it was coffee and packaged muffins. In theory not bad, but the office was always locked and we never got to have breakfast (for 4 nights). Sometimes the staff member would answer the office doorbell, but mostly she was unavailable. When she did interact, she seemed tired and disoriented. Housekeeping was friendly and did a great job.

It was a place close to where we were going in the morning. Nothing special, clean noisy but the shower was nice.

Room was old and showing its age but was clean. The sheets and bedspread were a bit thin for my liking. Otherwise pretty good for the price.

Very overpriced, horrible motel and customer service. Room was smelly, had very stained chairs and air conditioner didn't work. The lady at the desk told there are no available rooms and couldn't accommodate in any other way. Very strange to have such a good overall score for such a place. Air dryer also didnt work

Old school look with well done refurbishment!

We didnt have a problem with parking. If possible, try to back into the parking lot because it is a narrow, angle park lot with only one driveway. Its a short walk to all the restaurants and bars on Clement St.

The hotel is very convenient for us, as we have friends who live close to here. It is clean, has decent coffee, fridge and a wide variety on the TV and has good cleaning services. Good public bus access too!The noise from Geary St quiets down later at night. We did have to cover the window that has a floodlight that was aimed at it. We will go back whenever we visit San Francisco.

I love staying in the Richmond district whenever I visit SF. Geary Motel was clean and the staff was nice. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Good place!

This was a really great motel. i didn't know what to expect when I arrived but it met all of my expectations. It is very convenient to a lot of things. The dispensary is right across the street so you can go chill there. They have smoking ashtrays outside that don't smell up the place or cause people to throw their butts everywhere. the rooms are clean and tidy and there is always a maid available if you need anything. Only a $50 cab ride form the airport not during rush hour obviously. The staff was super friendly. I would absolutely stay here again next time I visit san fran. Not a ton of people around either which was really nice given its location.

This place was in a good location for a good price and the only slight downside was that the parking was limited, and the parking spaces are narrow, but definitely not bad at all.

Pillows cheap uncomfortable beds uncomfortable Walls paper thin could hear next store conversation clear and loud they talked until 2am Not worth $180 was close to UCSF medical center where I had surgery the next day at 8am so was exhausted by neighbors Parking was first come first served. Some guest with no handicap plates or placard parked in only handicap spot No rom available down stairs has one only handicap room. So I had a room upstairs As I have handicap parking plates and use a cane that don’t allow service animal so had to have alternative place for my service dog to stay the night luckily I had a friend who could help me

It was great location for us. 2.5 mile walk to get to the starting line which was a perfect warm up for the run. We ran the 1st half marathon so it was perfect. We were close to the buses and took the bus to a lot of our other travels due to knee issues with friend (yes she ran anyway) LOL. The room could have used a little bit of repairs but all in all it was a good room.

Good location for the activities we had planned.

Location is incredibly convenient but the motel has seen way better days — rips in the carpet, holes in the wall, no breakfast or fresh coffee, but linens were immaculate, and the bathroom fairly well updated. But it’s all about the location on Geary near Park Presidio Bledsoe.

I am a repeat customer of Geary Parkway, which is convenient and generally good, although the rates have increased 25%+ over the past 18 months. One weakness is their toilets, which flush poorly and are often very noisy. During this stay, I had to pore a bucket of water into the toilet when flushing it to make it completely flush. I reported the problem to the management on leaving, and I expect the problem got fixed for the next visitor. Service is excellent and friendly always. Nisha was particularly helpful.

When I got to the room I went to turn on the Ac and it wasn’t workin it was unplugged,the fridge wasn’t working good because it took a few hours for the fridge to kool our drinks and when you take a shower it gets foggy in the bathroom because the vent wouldn’t work either we tried calling room service and no answer, so you had to go down to the office yourself.

If you’re going to be out and about this is a great motel for you. Right by mountain lake, baker beach, presidio, Golden Gate Park. Near beautiful trails. By main bus lines. Yummy restaurants next door. Liquor store across the street.

I like this place. Lots of Bus lines to airport and downtown within a block, locL bars close by.

Parking was ackwardly tight and hard to navigate if you had a large vehicle, like a medium sized truck.

Room and bathroom were clean. Bathroom looked recently renovated. Small parking lot on premises.

The juice machine was not working do the whole 5 days we were there and no efforts to get it fixed

Clean place in a safe, nice neighborhood; walking distance to the Golden gate park, we also walked to the Golden gate itself and to the ocean. From Golden gate park, take the Big Bus to the major tourist attractions.

The motel personnel is very friendly. Even though next to busy Geary Blvd, you do not hear much traffic. It is very a very convenient location in terms of public transport connection to SF downtown and the West End. There was a problem with the bathroom sink in that the water did not drain and at the end was not draining at all. I told the manager on my 2nd day of stay but it was still not fixed when I left on the 3rd day.

For the price, this might be the best accommodation in SF! The room was clean, the staff was nice, and the location was central.

Good Motel at very convenient location near to Golden Gate bridge.

First time stay for one night. Convenient location, courteous staff, free parking and comfortable. My only complaint is completely out of their control - I stayed on a Thursday night and garbage pickup was super early on Friday morning (I believe between 4am and 5am) which totally woke me up. Maybe it was a one-off but aside from this disturbance, I really enjoyed my stay and would come back to stay again.

What a gem. Staff were attentive to any concern, question, or need. It was quiet, which i appreciated. Felt safe.

The power went out twice during our time there and the phone was not connected to the office. There were no emergency system to let you know about the power outage. The person who cleaned the rooms was very nice and when I encountered this person was very helpful.

I stayed here while my husband had lung transplant surgery until we could get into extended stay accommodations. It was great for crashing after spending the day at the hospital. Staff was accommodating when I had to extend my stay.

Propert is easy to find. Parking onsite is nice, property is clean. Staff is polite and helpful. Room is clean, the dryer in the bathroom didnt work though. Not a huge deal. Will stay there again.

I have only two concerns: The floorboard outside the bathroom and entry way, was very loose. And the bathroom faucet handle needs to be repaired, so it’s easier to control the water temp.

Dated, but very clean. Parking on site was a plus. We stayed 2 nights and were given clean towels everyday without asking.🙂

It is hard to give 5 stars for a 3 star motel but the rooms were nice, the large bed was comfortable, having a microwave and refrigerator was great. And free parking!! You cannot blame the noise on Geary to the management of this motel. I highly recommend this place.

Staff was very friendly and helpful

The check-in was difficult. It took 3 tries for the clerk to create a key that would open the door. The wifi was so weak it was impossible to download any information. I had to go to the library to get anything done. When I complained, the clerk kept saying "my wifi is working." That was no help. Finally she said "my husband will be back later and he will fix it." No, he didn't.

Good roadside motel with helpful staff. The WiFi however has not very usable. This was important for me due to my circumstances and so I will not be returning.

The room had a decent bed, but inadequate chairs for sitting. I have bad back and I couldn't sit on the chairs or the bed to read or watch TV. One of the wall fixtures next to the bed was missing a light bulb. Plus, the lighting was mostly high intensity, no softer colors for calming down the brain prior to sleep.

staff was absolutely amazing - the motel definitely needs some updates and TLC but it has easy parking (however first come first serve) and is easy to find and in a convenient location. With a few updates this motel would be perfect :)

Heater was broken. There was a hair on a bed sheet. The next room had horrible smell when we walked by. Nobody answered at the reception around 11am.

Negative: mold in shower, hole fist size (!) in bathroom wall, property definitely run down and not maintained except for good maid service.

The TV and internet did not work but management came and fixed both promptly. Parking was tight (but FREE) and you have to back out in traffic. Another blanket would have been nice on the bed. Clean and quiet, it is much better than the outside of the place would have you think.

The toilet didnt flush and the shower had mold in it. This place has gone downhill.

No spare pillows or blankets

There is off-street parking, which is labelled as "first come, first served." I did not have a problem, but I went on a weeknight in January. There are clearly fewer spots than rooms. If you need a place to stay in that part of San Francisco, this place is just right. That said, it is not luxurious or fancy. It is a motel with clean rooms and well located for that part of the City.

Decent hotel for stay between GG Park and Presidio. Very convenient for visit to DeYoung and Legion of Honor museums. Lots of great restaurants around. Room was well equipped with fridge, microwave, and HVAC. Room was kept very clean. Parking was iffy.
