The rooms of this hotel have extraordinary views across San Francisco. Like all Four Seasons properties, it is well maintained and the staff are pleasant and helpful.

This is the only hotel who takes care of brain injury like me. They offer me free steaks like 130 US dollars for free. They gave me free 500 US dollars caviars for dinner on Sunday evening. They offer me fresh coconut juice from young coconuts imported from Thailand by private jet from bill gates . Every staffs want to give me money for helping me. This is like a Jesus Christ . Please stay here.

We stayed only one night, the location was not perfect in my view in Business district which I couldn't realize when making my reservation, it all fit our expectations anyway so 9/10 location was not top in my view

Excellent Service…super clean property. Staff was very attentive and really great service. Views were super nice. The only negative is that the property is a bit dated. The technology is from 10 years ago and the room was a bit drafty. For example the curtains are not electric and the side facing the windows was super cold.

Instead of a love seat, there was only one chair. There was only one sink in the bathroom. And there weren't even two coffee cups the same size. The views are jaw dropping. The service is excellent in all areas, particularly broom service. Very easy to park and car service to local locations.

View was amazing, room was clean and functional - finishes are not luxurious but did the job for a business trip. Lobby restaurant food was great. Service from the staff was excellent. Gym is good but limited work put space for free weights exercises. Ok when not busy but tight when it is. Table and chair in the room nit super comfortable to work.

Fantastic four seasons. So glad we booked a Bay view room - spectacular views of the Transamerica Pyramid, Alcatraz and the Golden Gate. Only niggle was the shower pressure could have done with a boost.

Whether we were coming in from a day of exploring or winding down after dinner, we were always greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. Special shoutout to Gavin, Jeff, Sequoia, Megan, and Anton for making our stay feel personal, seamless, and downright joyful. You’re the heart of this place. We didn’t get a chance to join the Saturday yoga on the terrace, but it looked like the perfect way to start the weekend: fresh air, skyline views, and peaceful energy all around. Every morning we were treated to complimentary tea, coffee, healthy house-made breakfast bars. A small touch that made a big difference and set the tone for the day. Location-wise, it doesn’t get better. Everything you could possibly need is within walking distance, from cozy cafés and boutiques to pharmacy store and fitness spots — yes, even Orangetheory, for those who want to get a workout in before brunch. Front Desk and Housekeeping staff very good, understood my requests and complied with minimum fuss. Location very good for certain purposes. Room is minimally furnished for a supposed 2 Michelin key property. Both chair and easy chair were uncomfortable to sit in, were the usual type chosen by designers who care nothing for ergonomics. I'm a small person, can't imagine how a larger person could sit in these at all. The furniture was not sensibly-placed given the shape of the room and the windows, or the items (round table, one chair for table, one swivel easy chair) were simply badly chosen. The bathroom was bare-bones 5-star, separate tub and shower but cramped and not really luxurious-feeling. Sign at the restaurant says Seat Yourself (or words to that effect). It was empty, so I did. An officious bartender came over and asked me to move from the 4-seat table I had chosen, because they might need it in case a group of 6 or more came in. I moved without protest but the restaurant was never more than 10% full that evening, so I have to think I was moved because I was in sufficiently decorative near the front entrance.

This was my first time staying at a Four Seasons, so expected a level of luxury beyond what this hotel has to offer. There was a very basic restaurant/bar, a decent sized gym and a very small business center. The lobby is quite tiny as well. Just wasn't what I expected. Rooms were nice, but quite average for a hotel.

Nothing. We have stayed at different Four Seasons around the world and this is the worst one we have been to. First of all, for a hotel this class, I expect A LOT! And definitely not when the person who took my passport 1 minute ago got my nationality wrong right after (not that I cared, but it shows that how little attention was given. If you don't give a damn, do not even bring it up!). The worst thing is, this is Four Seasons and not some budget hotel, so I did not expect to be provided with a room with a leaking shower. We flew 6 hours from NYC to San Francisco and the whole reason why we wanted a Four Seasons was to be trouble free and just rest in a nice room. I could not believe when I turned on the shower and water was leaking so badly. Ended up I had to call to change to another room. Could this happen to any hotel ? oh for sure. But a Four Seasons? I don't think so. After they changed our room, we got a call saying that they would offer ONE day complimentary breakfast (we stay for 2 nights). Again, not that we actually cared for it anyway but they offered so whatever. But guess what, when we checked out, I saw a $130 BREAKFAST CHARGE on my bill. I asked them, I thought this was complimentary. You guys called us after the room was changed. Guess what, the girl who checked us out told us she did NOT see any note being made that a complimentary breakfast was offered. I was beyond furious at this point. Also, this is the first time a hotel of this class asked us to pay for an upgrade of the room (when we did not even ask about it). Most of the time, we get a complimentary upgrade if there is availability. This is pretty much the first thing we were asked. It just makes the whole thing so cheap. Oh by the way, the hotel does not have its own parking facilities, so they will have to charge an extra US$89 per night for the parking. I was told that I should have chosen St Regis but we always love Four Seasons. Guess I am really wrong and this is the most disappointing Four Seasons we have stayed at.

Fantastic stay at the four seasons. We don't stay in 5 star hotels very often but it was a special occasion and our last night in the usa so we splashed out. So worth it - the staff from the very beginning made our stay memorable. Thank you. The views are amazing - we upgraded to a corner suite . The beds are very comfortable. Nothing!

Sprayed entire building with pesticide and gave nobody warning locked me out of both doors six times of my double suite in four days then had the police removed me when I complained about the pesticide smell

Our corner suite was clean, comfortable, quiet and provided an awesome view of the city and bay. The only disappointment we had was with the service in the hotel's restaurant Orafo. We had breakfast there and the service was slow, disappointing and not anywhere near to what one would expect from a five star hotel. Even with this shortcoming, we would return to the Four Seasons Embarcadero on our next visit to San Francisco.

The waiter, insiandian tall man , black hair, in the Orafo restaurant was so rude and unprofessional. He didn’t say hello and brought the check at the table without to even look at me. I strongly suggest the management to replace the position immediately.

Fantastic Hotel & Unmatched Service

The Suite, 1 King Bed, Bay View, Corner on level 47 provided fantastic views out across the bay. The room was well appointed and comfortable.

Amazing views, great beds, fantastic staff. Missing the great bathtubs of the older downtown property. Bar menu is also excellent. The mushroom pasta is outstanding. We will be back…but oh how I miss a great bathtub.

We stayed here for our anniversary trip and had an amazing stay, the view, service, food and room were excellent and we would not hesitate to book again.

Neighborhood not safe. I was harassed by a homeless guy when I went to buy something from a 7/11 store located directly from the hotel on Sansome street. The homeless person eventually took some stuff from the store and ran out. So many homeless and drug addicts roaming around the financial district of Embarcadero all the way to the Chinatown. Not safe in SF.

I was treated like royalty, definitely the place to stay!
