Super convenient in the city. Parking was a little tight for a suv but very nice to have for a family. Breakfast was a little minimal but did the job. Staff was super nice and helpful especially house keeping, they did an amazing job for us especially with a family of 6 and 4 kids.

It’s Good hotel to stay. Bus stop and restaurants are near by.

The offerings for breakfast were awful, a juice and coffee machine in the tiny lobby (8' by 6') and a selection of granola bars. I chose this hotel because they said breakfast was offered, but was disapointed to find out what they had. this property should remove that option from the search criteria.

The room was very efficient. It was clean with a working fridge and microwave. The a/c worked great. The front desk was friendly and helpful. The granola bars and bananas in the morning were a nice touch.

Breakfast consists of granola bars and bananas. Chose this thinking that breakfast would be one less meal we would need to pay for while there. Ended up walking to Noah's Bagels every morning.

Check in was great! The agent was friendly and helpful. But I was rudely awakened. I'm a shift worker so I don't usually sleep at normal times. I know check out is at 11am, but I fell back to sleep. I got a knock on the door at 11:06. "Are you leaving?" Don't even doctors offer a 10 minute grace period? Especially since I had the option for a late check out. Then, I got another knock on the door at 11:35. "I need to clean your room!" I'd guess that wasn't true. There were other guests leaving at the same time I was, so I know there were other rooms to clean. Ok. Go ahead. Charge me for a late check out. But not after bugging me like that. I didn't shower, brush my teeth, and I was so rushed I forgot my food in the fridge. Not cool.

It was awful. The room, the staff I don’t even know where to start. It was just awful. And also not at all what it was represented to be online which wasn’t even the biggest problem, but it was a major one. The maid just let herself in And I was not closed. Just deeply disappointed and humiliated.

Check-in and check-out were quick, and the room was clean. It was also within walking distance of the Palace of Fine Arts and plenty of food spots. Would definitely stay again next time I’m in town!

The staff was the best super clean

The room was clean but the door lock did not seem secure.Advertised breakfast turned out to be kind bars and banana. The desk staff was never at the desk and did not answer messages left for them.

The bathtub needs maintenance; the walls need some maintenance. The housekeeping lady came and woke us up before the checkout time, we felt rushed out. It was a small room, but it served its purpose. it was only one night stay. We felt that this is the kind of room they give you if you don't get a reservation straight from their website. We use Hotels.com

Wife had to at UCSF so I got room to rest👍👍for the price and free parking not worried about my car that I'm pretty sure every room can the parking lot.( In closed )👍👌

Found black color tiny bugs on sheets and pillow case. They were the size of a pin tip. If you weren't paying attention you would not notice. We didn't get bitten but it was concerning nonetheless. Mildew in the bathroom. Beds were on the smaller side. Breakfast was a grab and go. Felt disappointing for the price.

The man working the front desk during our stay- I believe his name is Jake- was very kind, friendly, and accommodating. Our room was exceptionally clean, and the property is in a great area with a lot of things to do nearby including a flat walk to the Palace of Fine Arts and views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. The first come first serve parking is ample and suitable for the size of the hotel, and the light to-go breakfast offered very fresh and nicely ripened bananas, granola bars and beverages that were perfect for starting our day before venturing out and exploring San Francisco both days of our stay. We very much enjoyed our stay, and would recommend this hotel to others, and would go again ourselves the next time we find ourselves in San Francisco. Thank you Days Inn- Lombard for everything during our stay!

Perfect location. The Golden Gate Bridge, The Palace Museum and the Zig Zag road were very close. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.

This was not a 2 star hotel. The breakfast consisted of juice, coffee, a banana and a Kind bar. This is not a continental breakfast. It seems the ownership does the cheap way in going about there business

This is our 3rd time staying here, vacation from New Mexico. The rooms are nice and have Refrigerator and microwave, nice shower. The bed little firm, the pillows have to go, like sleeping on plastic. Overall stay pleasant as usual and Gopi and his staff are always friendly.

The beds were fine, floors seemed clean but the bathroom was gross, possible mold on the wall by the shower. The desk clerk was not friendly.

Tight parking lot, limited room area (very tight), no protein for the take an go breakfast, and attendants not readily available for quick am departure (needed to collect cash deposit for incidentals).

Clean, recently remodeled, extremely affordable (for San Francisco), plus free parking (in SF!!!). Convenient location for an appointment at the Italian Consulate. Friendly staff! Nothing fancy, but perfect for our needs.

The room was very small. The Queen Bed also was very small, even the kids had their body going out of bed. We had breakfast included and we were given only a coffee, banana and protein bar for breakfast. There was no staff present in the morning.

Hotel is conveniently located to SF attractions - Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman’s Warf, and China Town - all are about a 15 minute drive. There are plenty of restaurants choices within waking distance.

Did not like that I couldn’t close the window and there was just a screen.

Two double beds for two friends. Had problems accessing the internet with my computer. I was connected to the Wi-Fi but unable to use the browser. Having a staff member trained in basic computer technology and Wi-Fi connection would make life easier.

The hotel is located in a prime location, walkable to many restaurants and shops on Chestnut St and Union St. The room was clean and functional. The shower pressure was low.

Check in was quick and easy, room was in very good condition and clean.

The room was very small to whete you would almost hit either the bed or dresser when you walked in the door. Very little space to move around. The clerk at the desk stayed on the phone the whole time during check in and told me it would be cheaper to book online.

Good location for us while visiting San Francisco! Short drive to the wharf but we walked, about 35 min. Lots of shopping and restaurants the street over on Chestnut. Parking was included and great. Room was pretty standard but no complaints, AC was nice! Found the area relatively quiet at night and felt like a fairly safe area.

Max did a great job checking us in very kind and pleasant. Allowed us into our room a bit earlier. Good microwave and mini fridge and coffee maker. Great location will definitely stay here again

The desk clerk that greeted us was super friendly. He ensured we were familiar with the hotel, the breakfast offered. and other amenities in the neighborhood during check in. Our room was clean. The bed was super comfortable, and bedding was all cotton. It was nice to have the continental breakfast in the morning before going out exploring. I’ll definitely be returning my next trip to San Francisco.

The tv remote did not work, the ice machine was out of order, the free continental breakfast they provided was only banana's, granola bars, watered down orange juice and really bad tasting coffee!

This location is very tight. There is no extra space. It is a good value for the price. If you want a cheep, basic, clean hotel in a good location, this is a good option.

Not much parking and it’s SF so you have to pay for street parking if lot full. Uncomfortable beds and noisy all around. Not much sound proof in rooms so you can hear others conversations.

Had to pay 20$ to park a second car considering it?s first come first serve.

Don’t get fooled by the “breakfast included”. The only thing offered for breakfast is coffee, orange juice, Kind bars and bananas. But other than that, we stayed 5 days from Thursday to Tuesday and it was extremely quiet. We were quite surprised as it is on a very busy street. Great staff!

There’s is free covered parking which is great. Room is fine for what you’re paying but the shower pressure was awful. Could hardly shower. Didn’t even bother washing my hair. No plug for the tub so no bath either. When I let the front desk person know I’m not sure she understood entirely what I was saying but thanked me for letting her know. She didn’t offer to discount the room at all so I was disappointed in the customer service a bit

This is a great place to stay if you want to explore the city by foot. Just a turn down Scott street and you'll be in the marina district, just a walk away from the golden gate.

Average and budget friendly. There was a leak in shower above our room so water damage in walls. Other than that, very basic but did the job.

There is no breakfast only juice, coffee and granola bar in the very small reception entrance. Parking is available. Location is good if you have a car. Room was cleaned daily and everyone was polite

I really enjoyed my stay, but the only thing that bothered me was that the people in the room next to us were fairly loud. Could have been more quiet.

The property was as viewed in the pictures (aside from the lobby which was different & small). Our room was just like the pictures. Everything seemed well taken care of. Parking was nice being tucked into the hotel like it is. A bit of a walk to the warf but lots to explore in the area. We didn’t bother with the breakfast as it was just muffins and juice, not much of a breakfast but there are good bagel and breakfast places close by. Good hotel for the price and convenience of a one night stay passing through. Definitely would stay here again next time we stop in San Fran.

Everything, the room smelled, the sheets were dirty, they had a banana & Kind bar for their so called breakfast. They show they have 24 hr office & security which both are not true. The office is open 8 to 10 & we only seen security for about 5.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. Will consider staying here again in the future.

When we first walked in we noticed the plaster pieces and dust on head boards of beds. The dresser looked like it was brought in from the street. It was dirty and missing a handle and they placed towels and extra blankets in the other, so that was useless . The dresser was placed under the clothes hanging area, there was no closet, so you could not use that to hang things. I woke up with a slight rash on chest and face, and the bed was so hard my hips hurt for 2 days. I took a shower to have my friend take one after and found 2 dirty bandages on top shelf, I’m short so I didn’t catch that, I was absolutely disgusted. Than we saw the cleaning lady clean the coffee maker from the spicket from outside. Needless to say we only spent one night and found a better place.

There was a light right outside my room that brightened my room all night. Could not sleep at all!!!

They lied on advertising that they do breakfast. This hotel looks like 100 years old. Very small room. I am sure you will not have any help from customer service lady. There is a another hotel just 2 minutes on the same road, cannot remember the name but something looks like 'cow' type. It is cheaper, customer service is awesome, big room. So if you want to waste your money you are welcome to come this hotel. This is a honest review based on my experience. Thank you

staff was super duper! try to get a room farther away from Lombard st. as it can be noisy.
