Courtyard by Marriott San Francisco Fisherman's Wharf

Stayed for a night with family, location is great and close to lots of places to eat and things to do and see. Staff was super helpful and gave recommendations for how to travel around the city.

Breakfast restaurant on second floor was very easy to get to and had fresh made hot breakfast each morning. Staff was very nice and helped a lot with how to ride and pay for the trolly.

The room was clean and we felt as though it was a comfortable place to return to after long days exploring the city.

We had a redeye flight out at 10:30 at night and they were kind enough to let us have a 3 o'clock check out. That was really helpful to not have to worry about what to do with our luggage for the majority of the day. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and would definitely recommend this place.

Location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. Easy walk to sites or transport. We requested a quiet room with a view. They gave us a room on the 4th floor that looked into the courtyard. Good sized room and super quiet.

This hotel was easy to find and perfectly located, making it a great base for exploring the area. It’s conveniently close to everything which made getting around simple and stress-free. The staff were excellent—consistently friendly, welcoming, and happy to help with anything. Their positive attitude really added to the overall experience. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The bed and pillows were especially comfortable, making it easy to relax and get a great night’s sleep. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and I would definitely consider returning. —-

Staff was very friendly and helpful on how to save money on parking. We took her advice and only paid $39 for parking which is good for San Francisco! Location was great, close walking distance to restaurants and tons of stuff to do!

I called repeated time confirming my reservation, repeated times they denied me having one. When i arrived i showed them the email confirmation, they still denied my reservation. When I was ready to leave they ran to my car and told me "oh we mixed up your name, it happens in the booking sometimes" - I was already stressed having to leave an airbnb and then for 40 minutes was disregarded. The staff even said "this happens often with 3rd party bookings" - so then WHY NOT CHECK IT BACKWARDS IF IT HAPPENS OFTEN. It felt like i was seen and deemed not worth their time so I was turned away.

The location is near to the spots where I want to spend my time with, the room is really spacious and consists all the amenities I am expecting. Breakfast was not the one I expected but still not bad. I love the place and the staff.

The room was clean and quiet. The staff behind the desk for check in was very friendly. The lobby is under construction so the morning buffet was very limited. And the small selection ran out quickly and the staff was very slow to replenish it including the coffee. So don’t expect much for morning breakfast. We ended up going out to a wonderful breakfast place very near by called Dennis.

Great location. Easy walking to many of the things we wanted to see and lots of good dining options. The bathroom needed some updates. 2nd floor closed for renovations so maybe others will follow.

The property was under a remodel, and we had no onsite restaurant or gym. There is no place right outside of the lobby area to sit and no restroom other than your room.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is located in an excellent location to visit nearby attractions such as Ghirardelli Square, and Pier 39. If you need a rental car there are a few companies located next to the hotel. Nothing. Everything was great!

Lots of restaurants and a Walgreens just a few blocks away where I was able to buy everything needed for our breakfasts, as well as other supplies. The hotel was very nice, updated, and clean. For our first time in San Francisco, this hotel met our needs. I was a little disappointed that when we checked in, our attendant simply checked us in and gave us our room key, while the other receptionist provided more information on where those guests were location-wise, offered a map, and so on.

Booked 2 rooms and one was able to get in earlier. Nice sized 2 queen room, with space in front of the closet. Bathroom large, with big counter. Requested a microwave which arrived very timely. Hotel is really nice, hotel staff friendly and extremely helpful. Shout out to Sarah for area tips and directions. The bus is right around the corner, bay and wharf about 1 block away. Garage parking if you choose not to valet is right next door. It's not cheap but very convenient, we (women) walked different times of the day/night for out car and felt very safe. Would so recommend this place for a long weekend or a base for area stuff.

Location is good! the room of my companions got locked from inside. we cant open the door. so my friends reported the problem to the front desk. the reply was "there is no maintenance available and no manager on site. after an hour or so they informed us the maintenance is coming in 40 minutes. it was opened when the maintenance arrived. next day my friends got a voucher or some refund. the hotel needs a make over.

It seems you have to fight to get towels at the courtyard, which is not something that we’re used to and they watered down the conditioner and then they acted like they didn’t know about it but the place is run really well we made reservations along time in advance for a king room and we got a handicap room with a queen size bed that was too small. That’s not fair.

The stay was good everything was wonderful but I was charged extra $150 for 2 cars I only had 1 car which I only should have been charged $70 and the TV remote was not working properly

I reserved 2 rooms for 6 persons but when I checked in she said I 1 room with 2 queen bed and they can provide complimentary roll in bed. So the room end up so tight for 6 people and the roll in bed barely fit 2 people.

Evening staff gave directions about amenities too quickly. Elevator sounded like it would drop. When picking up car, had to wait for half hour for valet to even get our number to bring car. No one was at the stand for that half hour and phone kept ringing. There was only one desk clerk at 6:00 so had to wait to pickup held luggage. On website, showed parking as $58 but was charged $70 per night. The parking fee was one of the motivators to choose Marriott.

Excellent location, valet parking, breakfast was very good. Most notably, whole staff were exceptionally nice and helpful!! Gave lot of good recommendations for sightseeing as well. Our room had a balcony, was not very clean. Garbage bins around the hotel and across the street. Perhaps we just got there for garbage day but that was unpleasant.

Very convenient for touring around SF. it can sometimes get loud at night but that's mainly due to its location with many attractions nearby but also with the parking structure next to it. As safe as any where else around Fisherman's Wharf.

Lovely clean room with two huge double beds, this was ideal for a family of three. Really close to Fisherman’s wharf and pier 39 with lots of restaurants close by.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay and the location of the hotel. We were able to easily walk to sights along the wharf. The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Our room was also very quiet. Just so people are aware the valet parking does not include fees/taxes in the price so the 65.00 quoted is actually 74.10 to have your vehicle valet parked.

Stayed there overnight and all you heard for several hours outside was cars going by over and over with loud exhaust and music blasting.

Property was clean, only noticeable inconvenience was the slow, shaky, and noisy elevator. Was not entirely a fan of the street it was located on but the staff did accommodate us and point us to the best places to explore.

The property is clean and the staff very nice. They charge for everything though. Breakfast, they charge; valet parking $68 bucks!! Why? Because people will pay. The convenience of the location is really what makes all of it worth it.

The location was excellent as it’s close to Pier 39, the cable car station, Ghirardelli square…Hollywood Cafe. The premises were clean and the staff were friendly. The only thing was that our room was not ready at a quarter past 4:00pm. After a lengthy drive my family and I just wanted to unwind, they had us wait in the lobby, thankfully not for long. I think I would definitely stay here again.

IN nOUT is very close as is the waterfront and all the nice shops. Public transportation very near by.

Adriano at the customer service desk looked like he was miserable at work. There was a young lady next to him helping another guest and she sounded pleasant and inviting. He helped me as he was taking money out of a container, rude. We were early, 3pm instead of 4pm. He said my room wasn’t ready. I asked if I was going to be called or texted when it was ready and he said “yea, we can give you a call”. I had already did a mobile check in and requested a text anyways. Then I had questions about the valet and again he was completely disinterested in providing any information. So I had to go ask the valet the process and how it would work if we left at 6am. He was very polite and helped us out. The room was dusty and smelled moldy. The bedding had little black lint balls. The TV wasn’t connected, maintenance was called. He arrived promptly and fixed the TV in 2 minutes. However, the worst part was that we needed to shower at 5am and the water was COLD. Only two people showered with tepid water and I couldn’t bathe my two children.

The property was well maintained and staff were on top of keeping it clean. All staff were friendly and helpful. Great location one block from fisherman’s wharf walkable to pier 39 and many places. Cable cars and street cars super close. Valet parking or self park available. I was impressed with the stay.

Didn’t like having to pay extra for parking nor the continental breakfast. Also, I didn’t like how expensive the items were in the “Market”.

Needs to have a better common area so guests could play games socialize together.

The room we had was very spacious with chairs, coffee table, couch, fridge/counter area. The bathroom was a great size with plenty of counter area The parking was reasonably priced and right beside the property. It was walking distance to the wharf and right around the corner to the cable car. The front entrance was locked at night. Guests had to use their room key to enter which is fantastic for safety reasons.

Not the hotel’s fault but right out front is a big street party until 2:00AM. Cars just park on street and crank up the music. Like a rock concert in the room next door. This seems to be a regular Friday and Saturday night thing so be aware.

Enjoyed my stay minus the AC not getting really cold. Bed was comfortable and it is in a convenient location with food and activities. Parking is high for property. I found street parking close for a lot cheaper.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Available breakfast was xcellent. Fresh, hot and very tasty. Staff at the restaurant were outstanding

Room was clean but could use some updates. Hallway had an unusual smell not sure if it was air freshner or cleaner. It was a great location, convenient to several activities.
