Regardless, I will definitely be returning bc the location is ideal and there are two strip malls making convenience off the charts! If you need a quality pillow to sleep, I encourage you to bring your own.

The staff was very kind but the hotel itself is on the older side. I was able to hear all the walking in the room next door, upstairs, and in the hall.

All the staff are so accommodating and very good of what they do. They do their best to help you. I wasn’t able to get the name of the front desk for the morning of my check in but she is amazing as well as who help me with my checkout .

Front desk was very friendly. Room was clean. It was relatively quiet at night. Hallway going to the elevator smelled from pot. Elevator was very squeaky. Carpet was frayed where it met the tile.

There were a lot of options for breakfast. It was not free but there were quite a few options and different price points. Good portion sizes and fresh food.

Most disappointing was coming back to the hotel at 11:45pm and finding zero parking spaces because FIVE trucks were parked taking up over 30 spaces. When I complained the person on duty told me very politely that the hotel had asked them to move but they wouldn’t. I and others were forced to park on the street which had homeless living in vans. Not ideal. The next day at 6:00pm the trucks were still there. The number one priority when traveling is safety, my wife and I did not feel confident of safety at your property. I’m sure this hotel is ideal for solo travelers who are working, but I could not recommend it for families or couples.

Location The rooms were in need of maintenance. The shower was falling apart and had some mold in the corners. The lobby restrooms were constantly full of urine and feces. It appeared they only checked them once a day in the morning. The bar and resturaunt were not open untill 5 pm

It was ok to sleep but it is not the room you would come to and be fully relaxed because of the cleanliness. I would not recommend nor I would stay again in this property Room was run down and it was not super clean. It had a smell, it was noise. Baseboard broken, toilet cover broken, drywall with water damage

I wish they had an on the go breakfast or pastries. I saw coffee but that’s it. A muffin would’ve been nice while heading out to go back home.

My room was a single king, great bed! Coffeemaker worked and it had a refrigerator. Perfect. The bathroom was a disabled bathroom… shower was difficult to adjust and I got water everywhere. The hot water was slow to reach temperature. Hated the bathroom. Everything else was good.

Parking spaces are drawn artificially small. Underground garage was poorly laid out and is actually hazardous.

Overall it was a decent place to stay. The area surrounding the parking lot was sketchy. The monument sign for the hotel was damaged. Looked to be hit by a car. Staff was kind and helpful.

When I checked in and was given my room key I made my way to my room, but the card said to at my phone was now my room key and I needed to open and use my Hilton Honors app. I have the app but couldn’t get it open and was trying to change my password but still couldn’t sign in. I called the front desk and explained the problem and asked the employee who checked me in if he could send someone to assist me but he didn’t want to do that. By this time I had been standing outside my room with my belongings on a cart for about 15 minutes and was very frustrated. After a few minutes more I called the front desk again and asked to speak to the manager. The same employee asked me why and I said angrily because I couldn’t get into my room and he said he would send someone right up. A maintenance was sent up and when he got there he took my room card and used it to open my room. He said that was all I needed to do. I felt angry and stupid. Why didn’t the guy at the front desk just tell me that the first time I spoke with him??

This was our second stay at this hotel. The first time was great. We had a nice room, and everything worked out great. This time we got a terrible room on the 1st floor right across the hall from a meeting room -- where a very loud meeting began at about 7:30am. It was really nice to have a refrigerator, but there was a lip in the cabinet the refrigerator was in that prevented the door from opening and closing properly unless you lifted the whole thing up, and over the lip. The first night I didn't realize the door wasn't shut all the way, and we had a huge puddle in the cabinet to clean up with our few towels. They also don't make up the room each day, and will only provide fresh towels on request. I should have requested a different room, but was too tired to go the trouble.

I did not use the eat or drink at the hotel My issues started when my room was not ready and at 2:30 PM I was told that I could and should change clothes for the event I was there to attend in the hotel bathroom! Not a great experience at all. The parking was little to none after I did return to the hotel because large trucks were parked across multiple parking spaces. The staff was not knowledge about the surrounding businesses either.

A replacement room had the plumbing back up with filthy gross sewer water, coming up in our sink. Other than those two things it was average.

Based on the photos. Balcony is very small and there is no view of the pool unless you get a suite. We had a view of the freeway and when they tried to help give us a better situation we were given a room with a view of rooftop A/C units. Room was nice and clean.

I was in San Diego for the weekend visiting my youngest daughter. My other daughter and myself stayed at the hotel. We needed a place to sleep and shower. We have stayed at your property a few times before. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was fine. A bit dated and could of used a deep clean. All in all a good stay.

Hotel was nice Rooms are super clean and comfortable. Pool was nice and clean. My son also had a nose bleed during the night, I notified the staff first thing in the morning and they haply replaced the bed sheets and pillows at no cost they understood the incident. Will definitely stay next time I come to San Diego

Specifically, I want to give an honorable mention to Joey at the Guest Service desk. Not only was Joey accommodating, he was beyond professional. As an avid traveler, I can appreciate any associate who understands the level of professionalism which Joey clearly displayed throughout our stay. His high level of attention to detail, courtesy and professional recommendations are the reason why I will be a returning customer to this location. Thank you for making my stay so welcoming.

The property is very old. The check in lobby looks great and newly renovated. However, as soon as you take the elevator to the room, you can tell how old and musky the property is. It has a foul order. Garbage bags are all over the property. I even seen mice and rats running around. My room had spiders in it. The bathroom lock did not work. Ice machine did not work. And there seems to be water damage and mold issues around the hallways. Parking is very tight. A bottle of water was $15.

Lots of problems with the reservation. Expedia adjusted a rebooking for the next day for me and I had confirmation. When I arrived at the hotel, they had no record of it and just showed me as canceled. It took about a half an hour for them to straighten it out and put us in our room. They ran a fire alarm service check at 10 AM. not relaxing in any way.

I can’t believe I am paying for a parking spot in a hotel I booked. Unbelievable I don’t like anything. Will never be staying at a Hilton again.

It was close to Snapdragon stadium but surrounded by freeway so no way to walk or bike there. They charged a 50 deposit and said it won’t be returned until the next week if there are no incidentals.

the staff is always so great; kind, understanding(, and patient when i have to transfer funds for the room lol)! i have memory issues so i can't remember everyones' names, but i do remember that jedd and mario were especially helpful during this stay :) i have no complaints tbh, it's been a fantastic stay both times i've visited.

CHARGED FOR 2 WATERS I DID NOT OPEN. -mattress and pillows waaaaay too soft. no support whatsoever -Toilet height too low, felt like I was back in kindergarden. -no light in balcony. -very few tv channels (1 HBO, 1 Showtime) . "On demand function" is actually PAY PER VIEW ($25) not additional offerings. -keurig coffeemaker is by door, only water is in bathroom - so constantly having to go back/forth for coffee water. -cheap "dorm cube" fridge, microscopic freezer compartment

There was no housekeeping. There weren't enough towels. The coffee machine was dirty. And there was barking dog all night, coming from a nearby room. I was overcharged. And no one responded to me when I tried to get assistance.

The hotel and rooms are clean. The bathroom is big and clean. The staff are very nice, friendly, accommodating and helpful. They even have an area for dogs to pee. Parking is easy to access and safe.

The water in the shower has no pressure. I used the fitness center the 3 days I stayed and used the towels that were on counter but by the third day no new/clean towels were available. Hotel is a bit pricey for what you get specially having to pay extra for parking...I stayed at this hotel a few times because I like the convenience of the location but not sure if I would stay again.

I stayed at this hotel and the service was good. The only things I didn’t like were the appearance of the exterior, as the surrounding area looked a bit dirty, and the parking in the front, which was very limited.

Really wanted to like this place but the bedding had strong smell of bleach. No one came to change linens and had to end up making our own bed. The man that works the front desk in the evenings is very nice, other staff not so friendly.

Traveler beware: if you need to cancel for a personal emergency and give over 24 hours notice, you will NOT be refunded for your stay. They will gladly keep your money and give the room to someone else, who will also be charged for that stay. Hilton represents corporate greed & they do not care about their customers.

Picture of the hotel showed a full complement of breakfast items when we went downstairs to try enjoy it was only a continental breakfast for $12.00 we went to nearest breakfast spot instead. Deception to say the least. Won’t stay again.

The room I had this time was on the first floor and next to the local street. It was very noisy. I had another room last time on the third floor, it was facing the freeway. It was also very noisy. Both visits, we requested the quieter room and not facing the street. Both times, we were waked up by the outside traffic.

Pros: -Convenient location with access to food and stores -Customer service was good -Lobby and restaurant area is nice Cons: -Cleanliness: The room smelled terrible to the point where we had to buy febreeze; Surfaces and furniture had gross gunk on them; there was hair left in and around the shower; Hallways had stained carpet and dirty walls -Loud: You can hear everything. There were multiple loud parties on our floor. -Parking: Didn’t feel very secure leaving anything in our vehicle and it was $16 Overall would not stay here again for the cost. We actually got up and left early because of it.

They charge $16/night for parking. What???The hotel is clean. The beds are terrible and the 2nd floor hallway felt very wet, humid inside. The same with our room. It was awful. Also the AC was barely working. The bathroom had no ventilation/fan and the bathroom door was a heavy barn like door that slid and was noisy.

The sheets had a rust stain on them. The bed was uncomfortable- you could fill the springs from the mattress.

The staff were awesome! Ate at the restaurant. Steak was cooked to order. Cobb was the best! Shrimp cooked to perfection. Pet friendly

Room was clean and comfortable. Hallway in front of our room and parking garage was pretty trashy and smelly, upon arrival. Felt like heat was on high in the Elevator. We would’ve liked to be told about amenities and hours upon checkin, couldn’t find info for menu for restaurant/bar downstairs. Roomy was clean and comfy and good temp, but smelled like smoker was there previously.

Nice property. It has a bar and restaurant open from 5 to 10 pm. They do have breakfast for $12 which is reasonable. Good location!!

Mold in shower, large area on carpet soaking wet and staff only handed us towels to deal with soaked carpet, had to wait 45 minutes before room was ready for check in.

The room was dirty. The light fixture and ceiling had stains. The parking is not great. I had ro check out after one day and find another hotel

It is very convenient to reach to the freeway. However, it’s too close to the freeway and it’s pretty noisy at night time.

Very convenient property as everything was within 15 minutes. The staff were amazing, Mario at the front desk was accommodating and friendly. We had a very nice stay!

Pet friendly, close to Snap Dragon stadium if you are watching a soccer game. Room though had ants near the fridge and bathroom when we entered our room initially.

We had a wonderful experience being from Hawaii and a first time guest ! Staff was friendly with lots of Aloha and the bar/restaurant was great! It was so conveniently located and close to Walmart which was perfect for my son’s needs moving into SDSU. We had a quiet room located right by the elevator and stairs. The only thing that would have made our stay better was a balcony over looking the pool. Overall we had a great stay and will come back again!

They did not have the room I booked, so they put us in a smaller room, I asked if we can be accommodated with an extra room to accommodate my family but they stated I would have to pay for it. They offered

It was very nice and staff was very nice… unfortunately elevator was always out of service and working one was taking to long… also the halls of the hotel were really warm and it made me worry about staff…

Great location, everywhere I needed to go was about a 15-20 minute drive. Food and shops next door and gas across the street. Staff and bartender were wonderful. However, the bar could be open a little later, at least until 10pm ish or so. It would also be nice if parking were included, but daily cost isn't bad. I would stay again. Very convenient. Thank you.

The balcony was extremely small. Wait staff at restaurant on side was not very friendly. Front desk was professional and polite.

Staff was great, hotel is very close to a couple breakfast and lunch shops as well as Walmart. only downfall we had. the shower water smells a little sulferish. it didn't ruin anything just unexpected.

Great stay

The property did not feel safe. There was a sign at the entrance from the garage to get to the elevators to go up to the rooms that said a key was required, but the door was unlocked, and anyone could get in. There wasn't a key required to get on the elevator, either, so anyone could get up to any room. My daughter and I did not feel safe at all. The bathroom was very dirty and had mold around the fixtures. The water coming from the fixture just trickled out, and it never got hot. We had cold showers. There were several strands of hair in the ice bucket. The towels were extremely thin and scratchy. We asked for more, and those were exactly the same. The hair dryer was sticky and dirty, and we had to use a washcloth to hold it while we dried our hair. The TV remote wasn't working properly, the air conditioner was extremely loud and never got lower than 73 in our room, even though we set it lower.

The place is near Convoy area where you can find asian restaurants, markets and karaoke at night. 15-16 minutes away from the beach. It's a nice place to stay with family and friends. Super clean. I would definitely come back

There was really no place for luggage. We had everything on the floor. Overall this hotel was excessively priced for the condition. I was never looking forward to go back to hotel to relax. Pool area very small with broken furniture.

Bernard at the front desk was a major help. He helped his check in a little earlier as we came in earlier than expected and made sure to check on us throughout our visit. I really appreciated that he made us feel like we were valued customers.

I had an issue with parking late at night as ALL the spots were taken and I and didn't feel comfortable walking from a far off site parking at 2am at night. Amber was very sweet and tried to offer help in searching which I really appreciated. I'm sure she dealt with a lot of grouchy guests so late at night so her kindness went a long way.

The amount we paid fr the hotel it was outdated products in restroom had previous peoples hair and spills all over the coffee machine didn’t work properly fridge did not cool my drinks at high temp breakfast not included and parking was $16 not worth it tbh

Hilton is a great hotel. This hotel needs to do some maintenance work for sure. Staff are really good one of them told me i have to check out at 11 am the other i emphasized to her telling her hey my app says 12 pm she said (i would do this a s a courtesy) well check what you got on the system have some in depth training for your employees. This is an over all embarrassment. This placw management is horrible kinda. I dont blame the staff they are helpful its just feels that the management is not that great honestly. Plus no breakfast offered for this price….

Immediately upon entering, we were met with a friendly face at the desk, each and every day. Access to the pool was nice and pool was clean. Rooms were very tidy and requests were met happily.

It was a very pleasant experience, Christopher was amazing and very friendly!

Parking is not easy and difficult

We stayed during comicon weekend so prices were double and definitely we overpaid by a lot for what the standard of this hotel is worth

Some red BMW parked so close to my vehicle my kids weren’t able to get in.

This is the worse place I have stayed in many years of traveling customer service was not helpful at all we couldn’t find a parking and the parking space really small were an suv will have to be parked over the lines and if you do so they double charge you needed to get assistance to find parking and they said and keep saying it was first come first served and to top it off they charge an additional fee off $16 a day for parking.Spoke to a mangager because we couldn’t find a parking they promise to waive one day of parking for the inconvenience and when checked out they still had charged me for both nights of parking terrible will not recommend this hotel at all !

Would definitely stay here again

We’ve stayed here before and it was great. However, this time… our bed was broken or something and sounded horrible anytime anyone lied on it or anything. The bedroom AC was broken so we could not turn it off and had to unplug it so it wouldn’t get too cold at night. Also upon arrival the room smelled really bad like mildew.

We liked the quiet location and ease of parking.

Noisy room since is close to the freeway. Couldn’t sleep well because of the noise. Water pressure was low and didn’t like it when I took the shower 😖

Never seen a more disgusting jacuzzi very moldy, old and dirty, the whole pool area is small and outdated . Also no reason to charge parking fees. Plus Very bad continental breakfast for $12. And the carpet in the hallways feels very dirty and outdated.and smelly Just the night for the room was $220 .

Musty/dusty smell in the room when was the last time the filters where cleaned in HVAC. Open electric in the bathroom, I bet the fire dept wouldn't like that. Occasional skunk and or sewer smell. Lousy Breakfast options and you have to pay for the continental and other. $16.00 a day for parking. It's like they don't want you as a customer.

The trip was quiet & offered everything we needed for the weekend. The extra blankets & sofa bed had hair on them so we chose to just use the bed together.

Freeway traffic is about 800 feet away. The sink clogged again 6:30am

The place is immaculate. I would recommend this hotel to other guest. The cleaning ladies did not allow us to get on the elevator before them. That was the only drawback.

Charged a deposit at front desk during arrival which was fine until the woman and manager at the front desk had attitude and unfriendly when checking in. Had chosen a room number online and self parking and notified time of arrival when we arrived the room wasn’t ready they presented a room change for us that still wasn’t ready. Very unprofessional and unpleasant stay. Bathroom has mold in the shower near the soap area. Wouldn't recommend honestly

The staff was really lovely…no issues with staff at all. Just odd little out of repair things that cropped up a lot in a one night stay. Our carpet was wet because the fridge was leaky, the elevator was a bit wonky and seemed out of repair, garage door to get to the elevator was not working, so had to walk all the way around to the front of the hotel. Again, super nice folks, but an odd experience.
