We've stayed at this hotel quite a few times in the last few years and we've noticed a few changes. There were ants in our room this time... very unfortunate. There was only half a tube of hair conditioner in the room so we had to ask for more. Parking used to be free, then it was about $10 or $11 last year, and it's $18 a day this time.

1. $25 a night for parking in an area with plenty of parking and no reason, other than making money off your guests. 2. Why do I check in on the app, do everything requested, request a digital key and STILL have to go to the front desk to check in all over again! 3. Breakfast (on Sunday) only until 9am!!! I’m not kidding they turned the juice machine off and removed everything at 8:59… with people in there still trying to get food. It was almost like they shamed us for even attempting to get coffee! We stay quit frequently at Hampton and this by far felt like the worst when it comes to feeling like a guest. Literally felt like a burden. Don’t know that we will ever stay here again.

The girl who checked us in, wasnt friendly. Neither looked professional. She looked tired and wanting to leave. The hotel is pet friendly, but you need to pay $220, bot to exceed 2 dogs and 70 pounds and you cant leave them on their own in the room.

There is a $25.00 parking charge per night, which I was not aware of when I booked the hotel on Expedia. Until nighttime, the room has no noise control, and very thin walls. We can hear everything in the adjacent room, and the guests were up late. From 11pm to 2:30am, they were talking on the phone, with each other, bathroom sinks running, flushing toilets, and the TV. Someone else probably complained to the front desk, because I heard the phone ring before 1 am, but the guests didn’t stop any of the activities after the phone call. It was exhausting for us lying in bed and listening to every sound from next door. For this reason alone, I’m for sure not going to stay at this hotel ever again.

Everything was great only reason I gave a 9 is because there was no towels at the pool and the front desk only had one worker in front and was too busy to ask for towels. It was about 845pm and he had about 5 people in line

The walls were thin and I could hear our Friday neighbors talking loudly up and our Saturday neighbors throwing up, which woke us up for each night. It seemed like we were in a room where there was a door attached to the other room.

The sausage looked terrible. We all know it’s not free just included in nightly rate, serve something simple but decent. The parking fee of $25 per night is ridiculous. Not justified. The front desk kept insisting the $25 parking fee is on their website, just check their website, don’t see it, well hidden. Very sneaky, nothing disclosed about parking, my email said $191 total price, nothing hidden???

Recent renovations all very nice. What upset me is the recent $25 per day parking charge. I have stayed at this hotel frequently since 2004, and this is the first time I've had to pay for parking, even though I have a handicapped sticker.

Very clean, Quiet, and easy to access. Breakfast was decent. Coffee , teas, lemon water or regular ice water available 24 hours. Only complaint was rooms were not ready at check in time. Had to wait an hour 1/2 for 2 of 4 rooms we booked to be ready.

I love the location, the employees, and the vibe. It wasn’t too loud even though many kids were there. They had a fridge and a microwave. It was a nice place for us to just relax and get some rest. I’d rate certain things higher but we really only went to sleep. Everything looked nice and seemed to be clean and in order though. The parking was $25 and we still had to park a little further in a different parking lot because we couldn’t find any which was upsetting. I wish they had a bigger parking lot. They also were running low on certain things, but they restocked the next day. If you have a lot of hair ask for 3 chowed caps or so. They were super nice about everything though and there are a lot of stores nearby!

The updated rooms are great, truly beautiful and comfortable. But the best thing was the staff. Heidi and her colleagues were wonderful--warm, welcoming, efficient, helpful, kind, even funny.

Location is just 15-20 min drives to most of the attractions including airport & old town train stations. We haven't used pool & gym facilities but they look good. They have a good lobby & dinning area. Breakfast is better than typical cheap hotels as they include one egg dish & maintain good hygine.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was large, temp was thermostatically controlled (yay!), perfectly clean, and quiet. My only complaint is that one elevator is out-of-service, and our room was far far from the working elevator. We did not ask to be moved though, too tired!

The room was clean and spacious, staff were nice, but the mattress was very old and flat. It felt like my hip bone is touching the springs! The mattress definitely needs to be changed. If you are a light sleeper, choose your room on the opposite side of the construction which started at 7 am! I couldn't sleep after that and i'm a heavy sleeper!

They had fruit and oatmeal with a variety of toppings. The highlight for me was the chicken sausage patties. The rooms are all very cozy and clean, the pool was nice and the gym had functional exercise equipment. The environment was quiet, staff friendly and professional as well as knowledgeable. I was in town for my sons Marine graduation.

The staff needs to put construction company workers together and never put another customer in an adjacenting room by them. They made it hard to sleep they were all talking so loud and slamming doors at 5 am while other sleep. If anyone stays here make sure to say you do not want an adjacent room.

Check in was easy and fast, everything was very clean, furniture is not worn out and old. Breakfast was amazing, I was so surprised with their options and you get to make your own waffles. Definitely worth the stay.

It's a Hampton, so it's nice. I didn't like that they also charge for parking your car. It doesn't make sense. It's not like they are in down-town San Diego. It's their own parking lot. Nickel and diming your customers without letting them know ahead a time is such a bait and switch.

The property was very clean and well-kept. No tagging in the elevators, strange smells or trash in the hallways. Peter at the desk was extremely friendly and welcoming. The only complaint I have is that, when we checked out they tagged on $18 to park in their OWN parking lot and this was not displayed on Expedia's, "The Price You See is the Price You Get" invoice. Felt a little 'nickle-and-dimed' over that.

Our family had a wonderful stay here. Amazing breakfast options, as other reviewers have pointed out. Very friendly and helpful front desk. I also enjoyed small thoughtful details, such as night light in the bathroom, heated mirror, water (and lemon water) available in the lobby all day long, which all elevated the experience. The hotel is located within 4 min of many small road-side plazas, full of eatery options. If I am in the area again, I will definitely stay here.

The stay was nice except for the 18.00 a day for parking. You would think paying over 200.00 a night for a room would include parking! But you have to be sneaky about it and charge it to my card after checking in?. Because of this I won't be staying at this Hotel again next time my daughter has a weekend softball tournament.

We l9ve staying at this Hampton Inn! Always very clean and quiet. The staff is amazing.

The property is nice, parking is a nightmare

Hotel is overall very clean and modern. Staff were very friendly. Restaurants and stores are just mins away from the hotel

We enjoyed our stay. Loved the walk in shower.

The room that they gave us when we checked in the bed was not clean and the front desk gave us another room. The hotel was clean.

Wish didn’t have to request a day before for sheet changes, rooms were not clean not even bed made or trash taken out
