Super friendly and attentive staff, clean room and facilities. Breakfast options were great. Pool area was small but clean and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay very much. Kid friendly.

Great hotel for our one night stay before moving our kiddo into UCSD. Loved the gated secure parking garage, we didn't have to unload all the stuff.

Only thing I will say is the breakfast didn’t have any mayo available. So I started looking for it, I’m a resourceful guy. So I started looking looking thru drawers inside of the kitchen area and worker came up to me and said I couldn’t be looking in the drawers. Which I understood but the manner in which he said it was not acceptable. Long story short get some mayo up in there for the breakfast and this would’ve never happened.

First night we stayed there was no parking available and had to park down the street at an office complex and were still charged for parking after bringing this to the staff's attention. Walking in the front door you're hit with a musty sweaty smell like walking into a locker room. These did not give a good first impression, I decided I would not return to this hotel before seeing the room and staying here. Overall our stay was just okay and I feel it was way overpriced for what it was. We ended up leaving and stayed at another hotel for the rest of our stay.

Emma at front desk was super rude. When I brought it to the manager she was even worst and threaten to call the police for not listening to her. Stay away from this place. Liliana the manager was acting like we were in a prison and she was the gang leader. Will never stay here again.

Big and functional room. Breakfast was good, but nothing special - appreciated that it changed every day a little. Staff was friendly and the location close to the highway. Parking cost was 18 $ even out side and it did not seem as there were alternatives. Not the best area to explore without a car.

Raul and Emma were absolutely amazing—so communicative, responsive, and genuinely kind. They made the entire process smooth and treated my parents with such care during their stay, which meant a lot to me. The room was beautifully decorated, spotless, and clearly prepared with attention to detail. The hotel is also in a very central location, making it perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. Overall, an incredible experience from start to finish. I’m so grateful to the team for helping make my parents’ anniversary so special!

The refrigerator in the room was making loud noise and had to be turned off. No soundproof, and it was hard to fall asleep since we could hear every noise from the next room until 2am. We stayed 1 night, and they charged $25 twice in addition to what I paid thru expedia, for what? Breakfast was okay.

Staff is lovely. Room is clean and bed is comfortable. Rides to the center of Del Mar are under $10. A great option for a business travel hotel.

The Smoke Alarm started Chirping and the desk manager came up and changed the battery. It took in 15 minutes because he could NOT get the cover off. Ended up twisting the entire bracket. Then I asked for compensation for the disturbance and the day manager said, this could not have been prevented. Really, aren't you suppose to check your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms annually and change the batteries Annually. The answer is YES. I did not appreciate the excuse on her part.

The second floor smelled and one of their elevators needs to be prepared. It sounded crazy. It made noises did feel safe.

Its a solid 3 would give it higher but i didnt get that wow from the place or location. We had a pet which i give them a 5 for, but the price to pay as we really just sleep there was high to me. As other places do charge more it just seems to much regardless. Parking in the tunnel was very small. Mid size vehicles and trucks did manage to parke jn there but they must of got there early to get a spot. But that hinder others as their big vehicle was wide. Parking outside was justifiable but that too seem limited as you had to park in the street or back of the hotel. The perk i find was the price compare to others in distance to get to a beach. As the drive was like 12 min. Not far and convenient. To our desired location we were 25 min away but that was our choice de to pricing. I would stay again because they accept pets and depends on where my itinerary is as a little drive to get somewhere to save is not a problem. The breakfast for us was very ordinary and simple. It is delightful for groups and families as it saves all else it depends on a user to user basis.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very nice and clean, which made us feel comfortable right away. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed. Breakfast was also excellent—fresh, delicious, and with a great variety to choose from. Overall, a great experience, and we would definitely stay here again!

Friendly staff. It is clean and in a quiet area near the freeway. Which gave us easy access to an event at the Del Mar fairgrounds. It is next to a Taco Bell and a freeway and the breakfast is complimentary in the mornings too.The beds are comfortable and bathroom is clean. The towels are paper thin so maybe bring one of your own if you need to.

Large and clean room with updated furnishings as well as updated decor throughout the hotel. Easy check in and check out. It was nice to park in a secure underground parking lot. Breakfast was good. Great location if you're driving in a car. Overall, it was very good value for the location. While secure underground parking was convenient, nobody tells you that this garage exists or how to get there or that they charge a fee to use it. There wasn't enough outdoor parking for guests so you have to use the garage. The location is great if you're driving a car; not so much if you're looking to walk around.

The location was just right. They remodeled the property and messed up the colors and made the rooms smaller. Noisy from ac units. Not attractive rooms as compared to the old rooms. Rooms are decorated in a color scheme looking like a clown club. Not comfortable rooms to stay in at the end of the day. Hey travelers, I have stayed in these rooms before and beware, take note of the details mentioned in this review and do your research. We stayed for a week and will not stay here again.

The only complaint really was the water pressure for the shower was a little low.

Emma was the person who checked us in for our stay and she was excellent. Very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and in excellent condition, everything worked. The parking is great. It was secure and it was easy to get from the parking to our room. The laundry facility was great as well. The night housekeeper was very friendly, I didn't get her name, but kudos to her for doing a great job. I would totally recommend this hotel to anybody.

The way to enter the underground parking was a bit confusing and had basically only one way to approach it in the car to put the card, other than that, it was good.

Had problems with the TV service, then found out that the whole hotel was having similar problems. Was not fixed before checking out. Only issue. Everything else really nice. Loved the tea and coffee in the lobby!

The staff was friendly and really helpful.They even helped us with providing a playard for our little one. Breakfast changed every day we were there, and it was delicious. I really enjoyed my short overnight stay! I was in town for one night only to visit a client whose office is nearby. The front desk staff was very warm and friendly and my room was very clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was well stocked! Will definitely return the next time I’m in the area!

Great property centrally located. Very good morning breakfast buffet, which is complementary. Rooms were clean and looked to be very well-maintained. Every time we come out this area we stay here.

Great hotel. The only small con is that housekeeping did try to come in really early more than once, disrupting our sleep. In case you want to sleep in, don’t forget to put the “do not disturb” sign outside.

This was a great property for our needs. Good breakfast, clean on the inside, nice staff. The rooms were pretty small though. We asked for a roll away bed and they said we couldn’t fit one in our room. I’m addition, the parking garage spots were so tiny that only compact cars would fit comfortably in them; yet, the majority of cars were SUVs and trucks trying to squeeze in them. But, overall it was a great hotel that is very convenient and close to lots of places.

Several things were broken including the blinds, tv remote didn’t control the tv (a known problem with no solution according to front desk). The small table on wheels, basically the only place to have a flat space to eat or work, had a broken wheel and wouldn’t stay steady. Worst mattress in any hotel, ever. Seemed to be made of cold concrete. Horrible area, druggies in the parking lot between gas station and disgusting Taco Bell. Ended up leaving a night early to stay elsewhere. Front desk simply responded, “you’ll be eating the cost of the second night” Yeah, worth it, that’s how bad this place is.

Easy access off the freeway. Friendly staff. Pet friendly for our 2 large dogs. Pet fee was in the high-middle of the spectrum for the area (other hotels range from $30-125). Parking a bit sketchy though. We have a super large truck that needs a much higher clearance than most garages so we had to park towards the back of the hotel, next to the Taco Bell. And then we had to walk with our 2 young kids, 2 dogs, and luggage around the hotel, on the long driveway back to the front of the hotel to get to our room. So super sketchy parking and a bit inconvenient. But the room was clean, especially considering the hotel is pet friendly. The in room microwave and small refrigerator is a huge plus. A hot tub would have been a nice amenity, but they only have a pool.

Clean, courteous staff

Super friendly, meticulously clean. The rooms were up to date in their decor. The bed quaility was excellent as well. A perfect stay quite honestly.

New clean and nice stay, easy to park underground or around the hotel. Only compliment would have to be how much the bed made noise. But other then that really nice place and the staff was awesome.

Very well maintained property with one of the best fitness centers that I've seen. Located right off the highway with many nice shopping and eating areas nearby.

The room was just like it was advertised, modern and newly renovated and very spacious. We had a good time there and mostly likely will come back in a few months

The hotel was modern and clean and the room was spacious, comfortable and had a great shower. It's right at an intersection of 2 highways so getting around the San Diego area with a car was easy- it is not a walkable area. The main downside is the hotel has no restaurant or bar and the free breakfast buffet food was pretty horrible.

We stayed here with our 10 month old baby and were very happy with the location, cleanliness and staff. We also loved the complimentary breakfast. Plenty of parking. Clean facility. We’ll be coming back for future SD trips.

Good stay for my family‘s purpose. We wanted something halfway between San Diego zoo and Legoland. Would have preferred to have more dining options nearby but since we have transportation, it was not a problem to drive out a bit for dinner. Hotel was clean, quiet, and breakfast was good. They also had a little convenience store in the lobby. Although options were limited, it was nice to have a place to grab a late night snack.

Hampton was clean ,safe with easy check in. The area around the hotel is in a business area so you have to travel a little bit for restaurants. Being next to the freeway made getting around very easy. The parking garage for guests made it easy and safe to park. Over all great place to stay. We will be back.

The Property was nice. The check in was fast and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable and pillows were great! Breakfast was tasty and good. We'll stay here again when in the area.
