The front counter night check in gentleman managed to find me a room with one bed. I booked a room in advance and I even called to confirm. When I showed up to the property, no rooms were available and I told them that that was unacceptable. I showed them my confirmation, and after some back and forth, the gentleman gave me a room with one bed. I had to share a bed with my mom when I originally booked two queen beds. I will be contacting booking.com regarding this issue

The property reeked of smoke!!! Could hardly breathe in the elevator. The room smelled stale—like old smoke. Old food in the kitchen sink and toilet was dirty—not flushed. It was big and the bed comfy enough, but the smell made the experience less than positive!

Need more attention on cleaning. A lot of homeless walking around the property.

Rooms were dirty, the stench of cigarettes and expired milk really set it apart. the people living next to our room, had the door wide open, room full of their belongings , over crowded and the smell coming out was aweful. The only positive was the front office staff memeber, she made getting a refund a breeze with no hassle.

Nothing The room. Room was nothing like the photos. It smelled like cigarettes even though it was a none smoking room. Random people hanging around making it feel unsafe. The beds were uncomfortable. The toilet was not working and when we told the front desk they send someone to drop off a plunger expecting us to fix it, it never got fixed so we would have to go use the restroom elsewhere. The tv would come and go from being connected, so we couldn’t even watch it. The door only had one working lock.

The “accessible “ room had plenty of room for a wheelchair. Must use stairway to reach lobby when checking in. Not accessible. Bags of trash piled up in hallway floor 3 across from elevator. “Accessible” room required stepping over bathtub rim to shower. No coffeemaker in room. Stone cold coffee in lobby in the morning. Noisy neighbors all night long.

Place is used as permanent housing for some people. Weed smell was constant. Elevator inspection was expired 2 year ago.

Selling and using drugs in the underground parking. People sleeping in cars in the parking lot Just an all around terrible experience in a terrible place. When we asked the front desk why there was not a coffee maker in the room the clerk said that some have them and some do not. There was also a blood stain on the floor. Every time I moved on the bed it sounded like one of the bedsprings had broken My wife was worried that someone was being beat up in the next room. The first night yelling and screaming and things hitting the walls until 3am

The property looked old and run down, but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioning worked well. There was plenty of hot water. Our room had a stove top and a fridge but no dishes or flatware. There was no coffee maker, but when we asked for one it was delivered to the room quickly. There was not a toaster, just a microwave. The receptionist was capable but not friendly. The motel is located along the I-8 freeway so there is lots of traffic noise on that side of the building. Our room was on the other side, so we were not bothered by the noise. We did not use the pool.

Very sad stay, had to get another hotel after paying for this one … only stayed one night instead of 3 . Stated at Sheridan and it was super clean no roaches

Air conditioning in poor condition rooms are filthy the baby was walking in socks the socks are what I can describe caked with smoke tar we had to throw them away, no vent in the restroom walked in smelled like arm pits, ruin in the hallways never was power washed all weekend staff rude especially night staff maintenance was helpful cable box wouldn’t work called for service box replaced then stuck on 1 channel night staff with her rude sarcastic attitude tells me “ it can’t be stuck in one channel” I told her go see for your self … also they have over 60 units ppl living in I booked the room for 3 adults we only got 2 lg towels all day Saturday we were told towels washing to come back I. 20 mins then that they will send some up then there is no towels … on line it said I can pay for late check out I was refused by front desk guy LIVING in the room above us bad drug addict tweeter up all weekend Friday to Sunday non stop banging stomping fighting music non stop movement I didn’t sleep well … no dogs posted everywhere well the ppl living there has dogs even aggressive pit pulls that try to attack a person .. they have signs no smoking or 300 fine nope ppl living there smoking someone next to our room was smoking weed ..

A truck stop type of hotel did not appear safe for women and children.

It’s was okay, but in the Check In at 15:00 the room wasn’t ready and we waited like 2 hours, they were sorry and gave us another room but we lost time waiting that time. Beside that, the room was pretty good and very clean.

This place was far from acceptable. The filters were ripped and hanging out of the ac unit, the rolling table was broken and lopsided, the closet doors were off the tracks there were many holes in the walls that were patched, but not painted back over at all. Mold in the shower along the ceilings. There was active drug use in rooms down the hall with doors wide open, I saw people entering rooms through the windows. And that’s not even the worst. Middle of the night my wife went to the bathroom, and when she turned on the lights bugs scattered. It was so disgusting. At that point we just tried to go back to bed and get out of there super early in the morning. I honestly have maybe left one or two reviews on places my whole life, and this was definitely worth warning people about. It’s very close to SDSU and we were down just for the night for a quick tour. Didn’t feel the need to spend a lot of money for a quick rest. But after last night, I will be cancelling my next weekend stay, and finding something more suitable. I don’t care how much of a savings this place was, it felt dangerous, it was definitely filthy and we should have just left upon check in.

The television was all steaming services or video clips such as NBC Now, or ABC Live. Thus the entire television experience was dependent on the internet working properly. Unfortunately, on the second day the internet locked up, so we could no watch Netflix, You Tube, or the video clips from news organizations. In addition, there was no way to back up a single step on the remotes provided by the motel. I know how to use Netflix and how to watch music videos on You Tube, but I was unable to do anything but exit from the entire streaming service I was trying to watch. The entire television experience was a disaster!!! In an attempt to save money the Days Inn destroyed the entire television experience. Accountants with green eyeshades can be useful, but an entire motel can not be designed and run by accountants! The staff was nice if unable to help. The price was good if both the refrigerator and the television worked. Since the television system and the internet access failed the second day we will stay elsewhere on our next visit to San Diego, CA. Gary J

My stay was overall ok, but the TV cable kept malfunctioning and I had to call for service about 3 times. By the time it was working it about half of my vacation was over. But overall it was ok.

Nice room, decent price and location for us. We’ll probably stay there again.

Beware, there is nothing to like about this facility. Days Inn Corporation should be ashamed. The toilet was clog when we arrived. It took management 2 days to fix this problem. Maintenance did not speak English. No bathroom facility for 2 days!!! When maintenance fixed the toilet, they used the bath towels to clean up poop water and left them in the shower. House keeping is by request only, however nobody spoke English. Also many, many trash bags were piled up in the hallways in several locations for the entire 4 night length of our stay. Elevator was out of order. Nobody, I mean nobody spoke English. People are living in this hotel. Of course California is a sanctuary state so you can draw your own conclusion of who is living there. It is more of a low rent tenement than a hotel. There were fights at night, "scary"!!!

Jacuzzi was green

I didn’t expect much for the price but it still managed to shock me. It appeared the room wasn’t even cleaned to be honest. The tv didn’t work, internet didn’t work (yes we logged in), and they had no clean towels so we did not receive fresh towels for our entire stay. There also appeared to be no comforter on either bed- just the sheets. When I called regarding towels they just said that no one did laundry.

The check in was fast. The room was dirty. I had to clean it up. Also noisy and disturbing neighbors. Keeps me up all night till 12pm and woken up at 530am

Did not swim it was to cold. No gym staff very rude always out of coffee. Charged 5 dollars a day for parking. I will never stay there again and I normally leave good reviews.

Had a great stay couple things they can work on i requested towel service and the lagged it i did recieve them also my soon to be wife had a ptsd moment at like 2 in the morning a brawl broke out you can hear thumping . This was a horrible experience. I was traveling with two of my kids, and the place felt like a total drug den. There were people getting high everywhere, smoking all over even though it’s supposed to be a non-smoking hotel, and dogs all over despite the “no pets” policy. They had to move me twice because the rooms smelled so bad and were dirty. I ended up leaving and going to another hotel because it felt unsafe for my children. To make it worse, they still charged me $120 for only about two hours there. Absolutely unacceptable. This place seriously needs security and proper management. Very disappointing.

This hotel is SUPER sketchy. We literally checked out 5 minutes after checking in. I felt SO UNSAFE there. The room SMELLED, the people hanging around the building creeped me out big time. The room and walls was so old and looked like water leaks had just been repeatedly painted over. DO NOT STAY HERE

hotel is government subsidized housing for unhoused. It was filthy and Both hotel and expedia have yet to agree to refund money. I am on a business trip and sent two other teachers to same hotel so we forcefully stayed 1 night. I highly recommend you take this hotel off your list… it’s dirty and feels unsafe.

We had stayed there many times, and it was always available. Same with parking fees. I don't appreciate being lied to. It was an embarrassment for our family. The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. We will definitely have second thoughts about staying there again. Such a shame since it was so close to our family, but having a nicer/safer place is more important to us.

Also the bathroom and kitchen in my queen mini suite had no soap. Front desk said I had to use the body wash from the shower. Very weird. Dead bolt on our door did not work. I also found the front desk to be generally unavailable. It was relatively inexpensive so part of me wants to say what do you expect.

TV did not work. They couldn't fix it, so they had to move us to another room. No more breakfast either. Really disapointing. Will not be back anymore. Even the Roadway Inn, across the parking lot still serves a breakfast.

yes, room was clean, i would just watch who they rent out too, there was a working girl down in the garage area when we pulled up and a very strong smell to marijuana.

As family coming from out of state and in state we rented 4 rooms. #1. Room had diaper on the bulb portion of a bed side lamp, drawers were broken, tv had use two remotes to function, they advertise a kitchen area, but don’t not supply any cookware or utensils! (“That is not our responsibility”) then why show it in your ads? Sower door has a gap so large you have to point shower head to the wall or risk flooding the bathroom! Large seal missing! Room was issued 3 towels 2 bath and 1hand towel not mat for the floor no wash cloth? Spent the one night and asked for a functioning room! Had to wait until after check in time to verify but they did move us for the night! Room #2. Bathroom door had to be lifted up to close,8ft large valance left behind by maintenance personnel, had to remove it myself. Room #3 Anon smoking room that smelled of fish it was very over powering odor Room #4 no issues. In all very unsatisfactory condition to the property as a whole. Management could do better for patrons even for a budget hotel!

PLEASE do not stay here!! First, I requested a non-smoking room but when I walked in, it REEKED of cigarette smoke. They were sold-out due to SDSU Parent's Weekend, so there were no rooms to move to. Then- the second night...Oh Boy...It was around 1am and there was a lot of chatter outside of my door. It went on for 20 minutes and I stuck my head out. "Sorry" the people said, "We're all out here because a pipe burst in our two rooms and your room is probably next". I looked in their rooms and there was 3" of water and feces all over their floors, and spilling out to our shared balcony. I went inside, gathered everything off the floors in case I was indeed next, and then put earplugs in and tried to go back to sleep. At 3:20am a HACKSAW began to cut through the wall from one of the other rooms. A HACKSAW. AT 3:20 AM. There was no sleep for the rest of the morning. I left at 4am and slept in my car. These owners WILL NOT refund me for even ONE of the nights I stayed there. I booked through Hotels.com and they even tried to get me a refund, but the owners said, "Nope. Our policy is no refunds. Period". Hmmm, I thought your policy was also to provide a place for a guest to get rest and sleep. They offer dated, disgusting rooms, there's no bottles of water available, not even coffee makers in the kitchens, and the floors made my socks black. I am never one to write reviews, but I couldn't let this one go. Absolute dump.

Never stay here! The only thing clean looking was the lobby. The pictures on expedia have to be from when the hotel was new. Terribly disappointed. Room had no phone, door was broken and had a 1/2" gap down the threshold, severe mold in bathroom, very, very old furniture, something on the wall, knobs missing off of old furniture, mattress was lopsided, etc. When I saw the room, I immediately went to the desk where the person was on the same speakerphone call he was on when we checked in. He acted like it was no nug deal. I told him we were not staying here and he said "O.K." and went back to his phone call. He tried to remedy nothing..I was also disappointed that the hotel would only credit me two nights, even though we never even stayed there. We checked in, saw room, went directly back to the desk, gave him the room key and left. While leaving, there was a man with a laundry cart full of stuff and a pit bull dog going into a room...

Same with the outside, the halls are dirty and susty and the elevator has not been inspected since last year. I definitely won't be staying here again.

I would have walked away if I would have bought the insurance. Only stayed because I was committed financially. The one good thing I could say was the bed was comfortable. I always bring my own pillow. The room was dirty. The floor was dirty, shower was slimy and slippery. They sprayed some perfumy crap to appear clean. Nauseating smell. Kitchen area had drain flies or fruit flies. Had one land in my morning coffee. Yuk. Them killled another while I was sitting there. Awful, dirty,disgusting place. I worried about turning on a light and seeing roaches. Luckily I didn’t. The check in staff was NOT friendly or helpful at all. Charged me an extra 5.00 to park on the property and I don’t recall seeing that listed. Would not recommend or return. Plenty of other nicer places, staff and amenities elsewhere.

Real was very cheap and smelled like marijuana. When we got back later in the day, the room was flooded from the bedroom upstairs due to an overflowing toilet. Hotel staff was said to give me another room until I became extremely frustrated with them. I’ll never stay there again.

The room was really big and spacious. One elevator that took some time but plenty of parking. Be aware there is an additional $5 charge to park per day that must be paid separately. Nice small breakfast with waffles. There is no convenient food options near, will have to drive at least 10 minutes.

I reserved a king bed paid in advance because I knew I would be in late gave me a double queen. Me and my wife in a queen no good. Property was fairly clean however a bunch of junk in the parking garage make it look dirt. A lot of people hanging out early evening smoking and drinking in the parking lot but not loud or disruptive just a bad look. The room itself was clean and all the appliances worked and were clean as well(I used my fridge, freezer, micro, sink and stove top) so very pleased. this place was dirty had hair everywhere even in the bed, roaches, knats, and bees in my room and it smelled like sewer. door would lock and the amenities like the dishwasher was broken. the pool was dirty everything was just over all dirty. trashy hotel in a cool area 🙄

The art and decorations in the room had remnants of things squirted on it. The water pressure was low, in that when someone was in the shower, you could not flush the toilet. The water in the "kitchen" sink was stopped up, so we couldn't use it. The parking was very limited, and when we called to ask the office if there were alternate lot, they suggested we park in a handicap accessible spot, which there were none. We ended up parking wedged between the dumpster and the chainlink fence, and went out in the morning to move the vehicle.

Room was nice but needed a good sweep and mop. The TV didn’t work and the first day they sent someone to fix, it worked for a few minutes. Reported again, no one ever came. Continuously asked for maid service, room was never cleaned. Absolutely the worst stay ever!!!

This Hotel is Filthy. Needs a serious remodel. Staff at the front desk is not honest and says they will send you towels and never show up. Breakfast was terrible. I will never stay here again.

The main problem is that there's nobody most of the time at the front desk where you have to wait as long as 10 minutes. Once we got our room, there was issue with the toilet. When we notified the front desk, they were dismissive and handed us a plunger. It still didn't help. I requested a different room and was originally told there were none. I mentioned do you want me to bother you guys in middle of the night for a restroom then like magic a room was available. The evening host in particular is poor at his job and a liar. In addition, the jacuzzi was closed and the continental breakfast would have the juice dispenser out of service. There is a big refrigerator which was nice but the freezer part didn't work.

We left shortly after checking in. It was dirty. There were roaches. And the icing on the cake, the SEX TOY that was stuck under the mattress near the head of the bed. No joke. How could they have changed the sheets and not seen it?? Absolutely disgusting!!

Place is a little outdated elevator not that great and staircase is not easy to get to...also ac unit really smelled bad when Dan running...condenser coil and filter need cleaning.

Parking lot sidewalks and surrounding areas where dirty, they didn't even pressure washed desperately. Then let's talk about the homeless guy and his dog can't at the bottom of the steps. Apparently he was sharing a room or something with someone, I don't know. I just know we heard his dog barking throughout the night. Customer service is the front desk, I can't even call it that. In no time do they see a cheery hello, a warm smile, eating his professionalism at all. When I checked out, there is no one even at the front desk. This is my first time with this particular Hotel, and I guarantee you it will be my last. We called as we were running late from our previous business appointment in Ontario. The guy on the phone was rude and said “yes of course traffic that’s fine. I’ll notate your account that you’re running late .” once we got there, I had to walk up to a once we got there I had to walk up to a plastic round window. (As the lobby was closed for safety reasons. It is not a safe neighborhood and very sketch I get it.) I got our keys and went up to our room. Our first room which was 306 we did our usual walk-through the room. The first thing that stuck out was in the corner by the window. There was a blood stain. It was brown and old. The stench of urine immediately got to you. I lifted up the mattress cover to check for bedbugs. It was clean if you stains under the mattress cover, but nonetheless it was covered so I was willing to settle. The bathroom was alright, the kitchen was absolutely dirty. There was stuck on food on the walls and cupboards. The refrigerator was very dirty as well. I called the front desk, but he wasn’t answering we immediately left the room back down to the garage where the service window is and asked for another room. He apologized and gave us 302 I believe was the number it was cleaner still dirty, updated refrigerator. The bathroom towels were gray and dingy so I asked for another pair which he had the maintenance guy bring up and I did tip him for his troubles. The sliding shower door kept coming off the hinge. No dishes or utensils to use.

Last minute booking but a great one. Was not aware of having to pay for parking but it was only $5 a night which luckily was not an issue. It is quiet even for being right next to the freeway. The room was comfortable and had everything I was looking for. Good hidden gem near SDSU.

Horrible experience, there was an issue with my room and Teja at the front desk lied to me about receiving a refund for my stay. I’m still fighting to get my money back, the manager Mike is ducking my phone calls. I had to contact corporate to get any help. This hotel is old and outdated, they are using the parking garage as a graveyard for their old hotel furniture. It’s in a sketchy neighborhood. Hotel staff 0/10

The bed was fine but the room reeked, even more when you turn on the Air Conditioner. One room we stayed in smelled of pure piss. Bathroom door handle was broken and the shower had looked like it had not been clean or changed in eons. It had severe calcium on it, maybe actual fungus. The floor had weird cracks on it too. The lamp outlets never worked and frankly very loose. BIG PROBLEM: I left my wallet there and they said I had to come get it. They could not mail it to me. I’m sorry but WHAT!? What if I was out of state or something? Could have even offered me the opportunity to pay for it to get shipped or something BIGGEST PROBLEM: one of the times I called, the man I spoke with, rudest attitude ever, as if I was bothering him, just to ask about my wallet if it was found. And he told me I have to call back tomorrow to check with the morning person.

We paid an extra for a 2 hr early check in and upon arrival were told it was not available. Had to hang around for two hours. 😡😡

The room was o.k. but "good" for the price. This is an older facility where some upgrades have been made. Shower could use the next upgrade.

The bed sheets were dirty. The outlets were all loose, some didn't work. The room had a smell to it that wasn't pleasant. The hair dryer does not work. The shower door is falling apart. We had to wait an hour past check in time for the room to be ready. Not a pleasant stay at all.

The front desk clerk was extremely rude and unfriendly. There was an excessive amount of old furniture blocking parking spaces and the bathroom had stains on the toilet seat and the shower. I had another stay booked at this same motel which I have now cancelled.

Upon check-in, the lady seemed less than thrilled that I was there. Also let me know that there was a daily parking fee that was not mentioned before. She didn't give me a map to find my room (and it is a little like a maze) nor any information about breakfast. The grounds were dirty (although the overflowing trash did get taken out within a few hours of our arrival) and the garage has a bunch of furniture in it. Our biggest concern was electrical sounds coming from one of our outlets. We let the staff know (and this person was much more amenable to helping us). They sent a maintenance person up. There wasn't much concern and they simply flipped some breakers. It seemed like it had stopped so they left. It started up again and we asked for a room switch but they claimed there were no clean rooms but they could clean some and call us back. That didn't happen and so during the night, we not only heard the noise from the outlets, but saw sparks inside the outlets. We simply unplugged everything from that wall and didn't see or hear anything again. When we checked out, we did leave a message that they NEED to get that fixed or a fire will break out. I had plans to stay here again for a future visit to the area, but immediately cancelled that reservation and found something a little more expensive, but I think it's worth it.

I was a little concerned about the highway traffic staying here however, we could not hear the highway in our room. We will stay again when needing a place to stay for a night.

The guy who checked me in was rude and seemed annoyed he had to work. The bathroom door previously had a good sized hole in it. They did a horrible patch job and pained over it. The paint was chipping off everytime we tried to close thr bathroom door which wouldnt close properly. The complimentary breakfast was horrible and pointless. Parking is just a littke underground structure at $5 a day. The maids had attitudes and left stuff out in the parking structure. Half of the parking spots are pull of furniture ranging from refrigerators to tables and chairs. One lady suddenly ran behind my car as I was backing out. Said no smoking but the hallways smelled like cigarettes

We had to change rooms because of the smell of cigarettes. Toilet seat is cracked and warped. Toilet tank is busted. Curtains look like they came from prison.

Location was good and so was price. Some of the front desk attendants were not very helpful. The fridge made loud clicking noises all night, my toddler kept waking up because of it. Wifi was out the whole 4 days we were there so I could not get a little work done on my laptop. Spa was sealed off. TV didn't work initially so I called front desk to help, no one came for 2 hours. The cable box was hot so the maintenance guy put it in the freezer for a few and then it worked a little. No volume control. I've stayed here before with better results but this trip was noticeable that the hotel has let itself go.

Absolutely would not recommend. I booked based on the pictures and having a kitchen in the room. BIG MISTAKE! We went to check in and the hotel was an absolute dump of a place. The room wasn't ready when we arrived at 430, and then we were given a room without a kitchen. The room had been "remodeled" in such a bad way , there was paint splatters in the bathroom, a huge gap thst let light in under the front door, and they used a round toilet seat on an oval toilet creating . This is a 2 star motel at best. It was so bad my family decided to lose the money we already paid and book another hotel. My bad for not reading the reviews and just looking at the pictures posted. Live and learn, hopefully I will save someone else from making the same mistake I did with this review. Not sure where they got the picture they posted online, but it definitely wasn't from this hotel!

It was a great place in overall. I just dont like they charge parking. No hotel should charge parking for booking with them. Other than that, it was quiet and relaxing.

I dont think I will be coming back the breakfast os hard boil eggs cereal and you jave to make your own waffles they unexpectedly chrged me for parking when I checked in.

We liked the power of the water in the shower. I would rather have A couch than A kitchenette. I didnt like the smell of sewer by the garage Entrance!

So went to check in and you have to pay for parking. My friend was being funny and was reasing about getting a carwash. Beds are fabulous pool was great. Customer service truly lacking. Ordered extra towels and never received, went to front desk and they sent her to the actual laundry room. Very non chalant. Is an older property in fairly good shape.

If I could give it 0 stars I would, the bed had a huge indentation and there was bug in the restroom, checked out a day early. Very dissatisfied.

Terrible experience. Don’t go please. To start with we booked online for No smoking room. As we entered there was terrible smoking smell. Every corner of the room stinking. Cobwebs on the walls. No hand soap in the restroom. Flush not working properly. Toilet seat flush tank made terrible noise for 15 mins after each flush. Pictures of the “motel” which are posted online are very deceiving. Worst experience.

Checking in at 10p. No AC in the room. Maintenance came up (spoke next to no English) and banged on the AC unit. Attempted to say it’s broken then left. I called front desk for a new room and they were sold out. I said we needed to check out then and he said he couldn’t check me out and we would be charged for the stay anyway. We left and I called the manager the next day. They were able to refund me, thank goodness. While leaving, we saw a man with his hooker and crack pipe hanging out with their room door open. Very unsettling especially with my children there. Even if the AC was working, we would not have stayed. It was not a safe environment!! Room was dirty and drawers were rotting.

The free breakfast was you having to fight over 2 wafflemakers in a corner with 15 other people or a muffin... save yourself a headache and book literally anywhere else

In our room something sticky had been spilled on the floor and floor had not been eashed. Same issue on one night stand. Ac unit did not take humidity out of the air. The room our son's family was in wreaked of smoke but was supposed to be a non-smoking room. Second night hotel did move them to another room.

furniture in garage …walk ways were very dirty …seemed like a lady was living in one of the rooms and she had all her belongings on the walkway … plus she had a dog and the dog food was all over the walkway …hotel had a sign in the lobby that stated “NO PETS.”

This property had clearly been chosen to provide "transitional housing" and those clients made the stay unpleasant. They left trash everywhere, they had pets that made noise all night (despite signs saying no pets), the cafeteria was cleaned out, leaving little for other guests. The staff were overwhelmed dealing with those bozos, which left them little bandwidth to address any concerns other clients may have. The pool was well maintained and very nice.

Bad smell in the room,, had to open the door to air out the bleach odor, fruit flies inside the bathroom. Door next to us has dog that keeps barking.

Room i stayed in had a kitchnette but it was filthy. Bathroom floor tiles were loose and when walked on water would come up between the tiles. Walk way was staines abd dirty. Lobby had fresh paint and gave a good first impression but that is where the maintenance of the facilty ended.

Property is a little dated. Had stayed here before and it was ok. Breakfast although free was severely limited. Would’ve liked some scrambled eggs or a protein of some sort. The room itself was a little beat up but it served its purpose of having a place to stay. Mattress was old and I woke up with neck pain. Stopped at Walmart and picked up some pain reliever and felt a little better.

I picked this hotel because it was close to my kid’s football tournament. It was affordable and the pictures were decent on the website. When I checked-in, it was a different story. There was still a sock in our room from the previous stay, the drain in the shower/tub still had hair all over it, the elevator was disgusting with a sticky floor. The hotel says no pets and no smoking but there were both going on at the hotel. This location is not taken care of. I’ve stayed at Days Inn by Wyndham in different locations and this location was the worst. In my opinion, hotel rooms should be cleaned thoroughly for the next persons stay without a hint that someone was there previously. I would not recommend this location. The staff were nice but whoever oversees the maintenance and upkeep of this location needs to do better.

The property was dirty, the hot tub didn't work, they didn't have extra towels available, 1 laundry card for the entire property and it wasn't available to use. We didn't feel safe so we checked out the following day.

Arrived at the motel at 3:00pm. Mind you, reservations were made 1 1/2 months prior to visiting. Specifically specified in the notes I needed 2 rooms next to each other or very close as I have health issues and my wife would be in the other room with 2/4 of our kids. They had 2 rooms completely opposite sides of the building. I asked why they couldn’t put us together or at the least follow the notes. Stated that it’s first come first serve. So basically my reservation meant nothing to them. Then one of our rooms is not even ready. Was not cleaned until 4:00pm. Check in was at 3. We get j to our rooms. Sheets have tons of stains, room was semi clean. Table and bed frame was sticky. Bed was up against one of the doors in one of the rooms I couldn’t even get in with my wheel chair. Bathroom had black mold on the ceiling. I was upset and went back down to the office ready to cancel my reservation. Was told I would be charged fees and 1 night. After saying I wanted to cancel still, they miraculously said they had another room available next to one of my rooms. Unfortunately this was not the end of the nightmare. We stood from Monday until Thursday. Tuesday was our SeaWorld day so we weren’t at the motel until later that night. Nobody came to clean either of the rooms. Beds weren’t made, no towels were swapped. Nothing. Called front desk and they stated they would send someone up with towels. And apologized for not having someone clean the room. Never got towels the whole stay.

While close to the SDSU campus, rooms were run down and not well maintained. Everything was pretty dirty, too. Carpet was always wet from AC, TV didn't work in the first room, maintenance had to come several times, but couldn't get it to work. Was moved to a different room, also not very clean. And wifi kept going out and no one could figure out why. Frustrating stay. Will not stay here again and would not recommend.

This property was very unkept. When we checked in our room was dirty…my attempts to have it corrected made no difference..we were there for a funeral and needed somewhere just to lay our heads. It was impossible to sleep becoase of the noise and strong odor of smoke (even though this is a strictly non smoking property) and must smell. Will NEVER stay at this property and will not recommend it. I would have disputed it with my credit card if not for the fact we actually used it (barely) and I was not able to cancel and receive a refund. Due to the cleanliness and smell we needed to shower and get ready for daily funeral planing and services at a family member’s hotel down the street.
