This property is one of the nicest we have ever booked with! Our one-bedroom rental felt like the closest thing to home! The weather was a little chilly so we did not have the opportunity to enjoy the outdoor pool, but this was okay! We will absolutely here stay in the near future!

Please note shuttle is 6 am to midnight, give 4 hours notice. The kind receptionist helped us get to airport on way back to airport. Also unfortunately there is no elevator if your apartment is up. Breakfast is OK. Weekdays close at 9.30, weekends 10.30. Rooms are spacious, reception seemed open 24 hours. There was no way to blackout windows or curtain fully and you can hear the planes.

Even though I was traveling away from home, the smart design of this property felt like I never left home and because the rooms are sweets, you have a full living room with coach and sitting charge plus full kitchen with microwave. Good location about 2 miles from SFO, next to shopping and restaurants. Clean.

The outside of the property was fine. Although the room was extremely clean. The furniture was run down it look like they got plenty of good use out of the future. Furniture, cabinets and more definitely needs to be replaced.

Short stay. Checked in around 1030pm and checked out at 5am the next morning. The 2 bedroom was clean and parking right outside the unit.

Front desk and other staff were very welcoming and accommodating throughout our 5 day stay. Room was spotless, including, kitchen and bathroom. Hotel is also accessible to trains for sightseeing, shopping and movie theatre. Overall 10/10

The location near airport yet near the city was excellent. Really enjoyed the well-maintained pool and jacuzzi. The breakfast was adequate; enjoyed the pancake machine, although it was broken on the last day of our stay. They replaced it, however with a toastable waffle. The kitchen in the room was great. We didn’t use, but saw many people using the clothes washing facilities. It was a comfortable stay overall, and at a price at least $100 less than most competitors, we really appreciated this property!

Be sure to call ahead for instructions on where to get the airport shuttle. They did not answer my emails with this inquiry. Rooms are spacious and kitchens are well equipped. Gym is sub par. I did not use the pool.

The property was excellent overall, and the heated pool was a real highlight; it was perfect for the kids. And very close to several grocery stores - a huge bonus. Breakfast was also very good, and the shuttle service was easy to arrange and made getting to the airport stress-free. The only downside was entertainment for the children. There was a DVD player in the room, but the hotel didn’t have any kid- or family-friendly DVDs available, which made it difficult to keep two toddlers entertained. Unfortunately, the TV options also didn’t include much that was suitable for families. Overall, a great stay for convenience and comfort, especially before a flight, with just a few limitations for families with young children.

Perfect for my wife and I. Great location, not the quietest of places due to the location, but it’s a comfortable property with a buffet breakfast and our room was a really good size.

Convenient for an early exit out of San Francisco. Very spacious. Full kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Heated outdoor pool and free laundry!!!

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite and loved it! We have 4 kiddos and this is the second time we have stayed here and have zero complaints. The breakfast is good, rooms are great and the kiddos loved the pool. Im sure we will be back! Its located close to shopping and restaurants and there is a BART station within walking distance.

Staff didn’t know what they were doing, l chose this place because of the free airport transfer. when I arrived at airport there wasn’t any instructions on pick up, called phone number on website three times and the man didn’t know anything. l finally got to hotel and l requested a 5:30am pick up when I checked in and the man didn’t have any information about it in the morning. He said l needed to call them four hours before the ride was needed which would have been at 1:30am. l stayed at the hotel for a good night’s sleep between long flights. The man in the morning said he would ‘make an exception for me’ and have the security guard take me. He basically scolded me like I was a child because l didn’t follow the four hour rule. l explained to him that l made arrangements on check in for the airport pick up on checking in. He was extremely rude. The man that gave me a ride, Jacob was very nice.the place was very clean and comfortable. I will not stay there again.

This is absolutely one of the best motels ive ever stayed because its clean, the staff is amazing and helpful and there are great restaurants close by and its easy to get to ucsf parnassus and mission bay hospitals

The hotel advertises an airport shuttle, but guests are required to call at least four hours in advance to reserve it. That is highly impractical, especially for international travelers, people with unpredictable flight schedules, or anyone dealing with delays. The shuttle also has to be arranged by phone, which makes the process even more inconvenient. I waited at the airport for over 45 minutes, saw shuttles from other hotels arrive multiple times, and never saw this hotel’s shuttle. If the service is this limited, it should not be advertised so prominently. Check-in was also unpleasant. The hotel required me to fill out multiple forms containing various warnings about fines and penalties, which felt excessive and unwelcoming. Although I had already booked through a platform and my information was already on file, I was still asked to manually provide additional personal details. The whole process felt outdated and unnecessarily burdensome. The room itself was not worth the price. Soundproofing was poor, and since my room was next to the stairwell, I could clearly hear people walking by and talking. The curtains were also inconvenient to use and did not block light properly. For nearly $300, this was a very disappointing stay. I would not return, and I would not recommend this property to other travelers.

False advertising. We booked here specifically for the shuttle which we called ahead to confirm. When we arrived we were told we could get on the 6 am or the 10 am. I had to take a Lyft which cost me $16.00. Very unhappy

The property itself is old, with VCR player in rooms and only cable TV, basic breakfast wherein they don’t separate vegetarian and non-vegetarian items. However, it’s everything for a quick short stay with pool, paid late checkout / early check-in, parking. Staff is friendly

I thought the breakfast was pretty bad but I'm picky about food. I walked to a local coffee shop for breakfast. There is a full kitchen in each unit, so you could also get groceries and make your own breakfast.

We have stayed at Sonesta ES Suites, prior to this trip, and continue returning. The rooms are clean, the staff work hard to make the stay amazing, they provide a great breakfast the suites are perfect when traveling with two dogs.

Everything was great. But the heating system didn't work very well, and when we turned on the heat, after a while cold air started blowing. We got a little cold at night. Excellent breakfasts, parking $10, barbecue on site.

The room is large, but since the interior didn't feel cozy, clean, or inviting, I did not want to stay longer than I needed to. Location was not as convenient as I had hoped, grounds were messy with trash, "pet area" was a real joke (landscape island with a fire hydrant and some poop bags), and this hotel is on its last legs.

It was a great place with great housekeeping staff and front desk staff.

Location is wonderful. They are very very in flexible if you make a mistake in your booking, they keep your $400. They have no exceptions. I stayed at the suites over the years. It was owned by a different company. It has gone downhill in appearance and the quality of the rooms.

I enjoy the kitchenette and the common area for family to relax. Allowing those who need to rest go into the rooms. We’re such a big family. It’s nice to have a place where you can lay your head where there’s peace and quiet away from all the stories and fun in the common area I wish there was a elevator. I do have family that can’t walk upstairs, but I will say I appreciate the front desk, giving us the second floor inside the area where the front desk is located. The stairs weren’t that bad to walk up. That’s my only issue… Everything else was amazing and met our standards

This hotel is our always go to when we stay up north. The room is so roomy and comfortable for all our party and the added kitchen is definitely a bonus! And the breakfast is also a great addition!

The hotel was close to airport The old furniture, scratches, mildew smell, rotted walls/ baseboards, mold vents, deadbolt lock did not work in room 313. Didn’t feel safe on first floor. Only the flip latch was used to lock door. Insect and spiders were also in room.

The room itself was fine, although the sink was not draining properly and overall I just felt the room could have felt a little more sanitized. There was a slightly funny smell and some hair (not mine) on the bathroom floor. I had a very early flight out of SFO and again, the night manager gave me a wake up call without me having to ask because he was aware of my early flight.

Room was huge. Bigger than some studios in NYC. Breakfast buffet was perfect. Pretty quiet. Didn't like I had to pay $10 a night for parking but that is cheaper than other places. No elevator so lugging luggage up a flight can be difficult. Would definitely stay again.

The shuttle from the airport wasn’t available. We had to take a taxi which the hotel paid for but we had to run around the airport at 11:30 pm

I have stayed here before and love it. The staff were great and the room is so spacious. When I landed around 11:30pm there no shuttle available but the gentleman from the front desk told me to get a taxi and he reimbursed me when I checked in. So nice. Breakfast is good. The shuttle service guy the next day was nice too. Nothing

This is our second time staying at Sonesta. We do enjoy the space and location. We are a big family so having a common area to sit in is nice. Second stay wasn’t as good as the 1st stay. The toilet wouldn’t stop running after each use. The accent chair, single chair had a broken arm so you couldn’t sit on it. Aside from those two things, everything else was good. They weren’t major issues but the expectation of a Home away from Home, you want all to be working and functioning.

The only downsides are the plane noise, since it’s close to the airport—but that can also be a plus if you’re traveling and want to stay somewhere nearby the airport. The other thing is there aren’t any elevators, so if your room’s on the 2nd or 3rd floor you’ll be taking the stairs. Other than that, it really has everything you need for a comfortable

The other thing is there aren’t any elevators, so if your room’s on the 2nd or 3rd floor you’ll be taking the stairs. Other than that, it really has everything you need for a comfortable

The check-in was very efficient. The pool area was well maintained with sufficient towels. The two bedroom suite is very nicely designed for families. It would’ve been nice to have an elevator to the second floor. Otherwise we have no negative complaints.

A perfect choice for my large group. It was 7 of us & the suite was a great option. It accommodated everyone nicely. Plenty of room. The staff was friendly. I would definitely come back.

This is my second time staying at this location. Great place to stay for the price. Breakfast is a plus. Location is safe. Can be a bit loud when airplanes pass by but not loud enough to be awoken in the middle of the night. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

No elevators, we were on the third floor and had lug up heavy luggage up 3 flights of stairs. The room had bugs flying around. Not enough towels we had to go get more. Oatmeal had hair in it. I’m sure they worked hard but just too many things weren’t good. Hotel is old. It was convenient for us but next time I’d stay in the one by the airport.

They wouldn't let my wife check in even though I called the night prior to confirm if she can check in and I was told she can check in as long as she had her ID and credit card. They didn't let her check in until she contacted me and I contacted the hotel and threaten to contact corporate office if they didn't let her check in. They also held a larger Deposit .on our credit card, then the company policy required. As we walked two, r, they were cigarette buds all over in front of several room.Doors.

Like that the property offered free laundry service. My family also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast during our stay.

There are 3 levels to this hotel and no elevator, so if there is no staff around to assist with bags, you will have to carry them. Traveling as a single mom of 2 small children, there was a lot to lug up and down. Our first room smelled horribly of cigarettes but luckily they were able to move us into a different room that did not smell bad. The pool was lovely though and the shuttle to the airport was punctual. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Would stay again but would request a ground floor room.

Stay was great. Appreciate the breakfast. Staff was helpful when we needed something printed. I'm not sure why there was a $10 charge for parking . . . maybe there was security that I wasn't aware of . . .

Just stayed for a quick overnight for my mom to make it to an appointment at UCSF the next morning. Very spacious.

The hotel was in a good location for what we needed, close to shopping and restaurants. We had a one bedroom which worked out well but the hideaway bed mattress was in poor condition and not very comfortable. The lounge chair in the room was in poor condition and was quite dirty. It should be replaced. We did not use the pool but it looked very nice. The grounds could certainly use a thorough clean up, as there were pieces of garbage and cigarette butts strewn amongst the rocks adjacent to the walkways. Parking was free so that was a plus!

Nice room in a hotel in a classic, near airport, kind of neighborhood. Would be good for a long stay as it had a nice kitchen and everything was clean nad new in the room. But the pull out bed was not very comfortable

I have two people in my party with ADA issues and was given a 3rd floor room with no elevator. I have never had issues here in the past but this created difficulties with my stay here.

I don’t like that you guys ask for too much of deposit to when you check in

Our room was clean and nice, but the area outside our room was filthy for our entire stay. Dirty napkins, a filthy towel, trash everywhere. Also the rooms are not soundproof at all and we were awoken by the family above us and next door. Our bed was comfy though. Not sure we would stay here again.

Great value, large rooms. Waking distance to Bart station to ride into SF and sightsee at Fisherman's Wharf! Free shuttle rides to and from airport. Continental breakfast was good as well. Highly recommend if you don't mind riding the subway to sightsee or see a Giants game at Oracle!

Breakfast was good, cheese omelettes one day, scrambled eggs and sausage next day.Bagels, toast, pancakes also available, along with apples, oranges and bananas. Bed was a little soft, guess it depends on what you prefer. Remote controls for the tv's are generic, means you can't access the guide feature Room could use more light

I’ve stayed here a couple of times before but the property is beginning to really show wear and tear. The vinyl on dining counter seats in the room was all peeled off and the phones were not even connected to a working wire.

The staff at the Sonesta suites was so helpful and pleasant. They made my birthday weekend very nice. I will recommend anybody who’s coming to San Francisco to stay at the Sonesta in San Bruno.

The property is clean and very well maintained. The staff is helpful and courteous. The location is close to restaurants, coffee shops and stores - but not so close that you have to deal with traffic and noise from those locations.

Loved the staff! Wished however it had an elevator. We had 4 heavy pieces of luggage to carry upstairs. However, the upgrade took the workout upstairs away! Thank you !

The mattress was too hard for me, but everything else worked out for us. Convenient location with easy access to 101. Breakfast was very well prepared. The area was clean and the lady helping us did a great job.

Lowe’s, grocery, mall nearby. Staff friendly and helpful, breakfast hot and choices, always hot coffee in lobby, near freeway.

Nice space for a suite..but had a sewer smell and bed is very hard. Location is great, near airport, target, freeway, Costco gas
