Great place to stay. Only an 8 minute shuttle ride to the airport. Staff were extremely friendly and room was very clean.

The rooms were very spacious and very clean. The breakfast was good and I liked that there was hot breakfast. I loved the proximity to the airport so that we didn't have to checkout very early. It was all good!

Property was not horrible. Was actually pretty close to the airport. I was told the long term parking at the hotel was included with my stay when I originally called them. That’s why I booked with them. I was then told it was $15 a day for long term parking at the hotel. So I decided not to leave my car at the hotel and left it at the airport.

This was the perfect place to stay when I had an overnight layover in San Francisco. Friendly staff, free, shuttle, breakfast included, very comfortable and clean rooms. Couldn’t have asked for more. I picked up a couple of hairs that weren’t mine in the bathroom. Everything else was spotless.

No meat option with complimentary breakfast.

We stayed one night, it was in a nice little area and easy to find. The property was well-maintained and clean.

While the exterior of the hotel left me a bit skeptical for a 3-star property, the check-in experience completely turned things around. The room was surprisingly well-maintained, exceptionally clean, and fully stocked with supplies. Additionally, the front desk staff was very welcoming, and the complimentary airport shuttle made transportation stress-free.

Also, the traffic noise is VERY loud if you have a room that faces the street as I did. I also heard some guests talking or arguing really loud at 3:00 am! That was on a weeknight. It is probably worse on weekends. The front desk staff were very nice, though, and the room appeared to be clean. I appreciated that.

I enjoyed staying here for a day. It was a large and spacious room. Not a lot of amenities, but the breakfast was better than usual places I stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Not a lot around the area for entertainment options, but still a very nice place

This is a nice hotel, but the floors were very sticky. The refrigerator made a high pitched squeal whenever the motor was running. The staff was very nice. You had to give the staff your water bottle to get a refill, instead of using the water bottle station yourself. The breakfast consisted of Light-n-fit yogurt, apples, waffle maker, egg and cheese omelet, cereal, and a couple of breads. Very limited but good enough if you're on the cheap.

Excellent Chinese restaurant a few blocks away. Yummy Szechuan. Has some Michelin bib gourmands in the past. But 1) shower was terrible. Had to run in circles to get wet 2) We arrived at 11:00 am after overnight flight. Room was ready but they charged $40 for early check in. 3) shuttle is hourly and takes a break in middle of the day. Missed it by 10 minutes on arrival and had to take Uber for $35 to go 2 miles.

Hotel is close to SFO airport. It works for a night on a flight change over. However, the room is negatively affected by the lack of noise insulation. The room above us was noisy. Not because the occupant was loud, but you can hear every foot step the person made as the floor creaks. Water running above is even louder. This made sleeping disruptive. Ask for the top floor to minimize noise.

Hotel was modern looking and we did take advantage of the hotel shuttle. My only thing to say for people is that it is not as close to airport than what it looks like on map. Plus there are no food places around so thankfully we brought food with us. Very quiet hotel and clean.

I used this hotel for short overnight - arrived 9pm left 5 am. I left before breakfast (starts at 630). There is no restaurant on site but sppear to be several very near the hotel. I used the shuttle to go to the airport in the morning, but not from airport to hotel - shuttle runs hourly and it was too long for me to wait after a long international flight. Hotel was quiet and clean.

The free shuttle to and from the SF airport runs on a timely schedule and is a money saver. Although the hotel has basic amenities the room was fine and the free breakfast offered a variety of healthy satisfying food options. The location lacks easy access to restaurants and stores.

Everything was great! The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The shuttle was on time and efficient. The room was clean and quiet. Slept very well. Overall very nice!

The room was very nice and quite spacious and the bed was comfortable. We appreciated having two chairs, which seems to be getting less common. Breakfast could have been better however. There were only two types of cold cereal (corn flakes and sugar pops) and the only yogurt was artificially sweetened

I stay here a lot for airport layovers. Nice people, nice place. The beds and pillows are so comfy and clean. It's always very quiet. There are several good restaurants nearby. I highly recommend this for a stay. The airport bus has been reliable.

The instructions for the pick up point and scheduling of the shuttle service was easy to follow. The lady at the front desk was very kind and got lucky i was allowed to check in early with an acceptable added fee. I'm sorry I forgot to ask for her name, I wanted to thank her again for her help. The room was clean and spacious. Check out process was easy. My flight was at 5am so I had to leave during non operating hours of their shuttle, but it wasn't a problem at all since uber is available. Overall, I would stay again if I needed a place to stay near SFO airport. The vending machine didn't work when I tried to buy something from it, but this is just a minor inconvenience. I wish there were more options for breakfast, but for the price of your stay, it's not that bad at all.

Great staff, loved the room. Only negative would be the sounds traveling from the people on the floor above us. It didn't last long. I'm pretty sure the people below us would have the same comment. Great place to stay if you have an early flight at SFO. Super convenient ~ about 1.5 to 2 miles away from the airport. The price was reasonable and the room was clean and quiet. The BEST part was the free parking in a well-lit safe area right next to the reception desk. I would stay there again.

The lady that checked my friend and I in and out was very nice/pleasant and she even did the extra step of getting us a little breakfast before we left the hotel early morning for our flight...on the service alone I would stay again!!

Second significant issue occurred checking out. I said I wanted to pay by cash. The clerk obstinately stated my credit card had been charged, even though I had not authorized this while checking in. Further, he insisted that processing the bill, with or without customer approval was standard practice in the hotel industry. That has not been my experience. In fact, staying at a hotel in Portland, the following night, I asked the clerk “did they automatically process a bill when they received a customer cc at check in”? She clearly & adamantly said no. They didn’t make that decision until check out. This was my experience over many years of travel. The Aura clerk insisted he had 3 years experience and insisted this was the way it was done. Not impressed and not likely to return.

Parking was easy. I was able to leave my car there and take shuttle to the airport. Very convenient.

This hotel is convenient to the airport. They have an included morning shuttle to the airport that starts at 6am. The bed and pillows are comfortable and the A/C works. The BART is a mile down the road which takes you west into San Francisco or east to the end of the line. We didn’t go that way. We didn’t have the included breakfast.

It lived up to the positive reviews I read before booking. My stay was short - early a.m. flight. Room was surprisingly large - and it is nice to stay in an exceptionally maintained older build - no thin walls here so my early bedtime was not disturbed by the sound of other guests. Loved it - it is not a luxury property - but to find such quality and value close to the airport I felt like I won the jackpot. It absolutely will be my goto hotel if I'm in SFO again for business.

Hotel reception was excellent. Location fine for an overnight, a few eateries just across the road. A pleasant walk to a nearby park in the morning. Room was good, bathroom really good, bed comfortable. I arrived outside of shuttle hours so had to taxi $30.

Old and small property. Room was not sound insulated. I could easily hear people walking on the floor above me and that made it hard to sleep at night. Water faucet stream was weak. Buffet breakfast was bare minimal.

Spacious room with basics needed when traveling to SFO. Wish a to go breakfast could be provided for those with early flights. Shuttle to airport was o time.

I don't know if all the rooms are like this, but ours was really big, which we appreciated. Bed was comfy and room was very clean. Our drive to the airport in the morning was less than 10 minutes. Would stay again.

This place is clean. Has egg omelet, waffles cereal. The only thing is missing, no meat such as sausage. Parking is the garage - Free, no cost.

The rooms are significantly larger than I was expecting. 3rd floor is the best level as rooms on the 2nd floor open directly to the breakfast area.

This is a sleeper of a good hotel. Comfortable, clean, friendly staff, free parking and breakfast, and close to SFO, all at a reasonable price. My third time staying and I'll be returning.

Getting up in years and really appreciated the seating options in the bathroom and actual room. We didn't think to ask or check about a shower chair, but there was one. A bench type seat right by the door was good for shoeing up for the day. Grab bar in shower was nice too. Lots of dining options in the area. We drove one night to Thai Nakorn restaurant and walked to it the next night -- we might book this hotel again just to go there-- it was that good.

I was there for one night. The hotel had a smell to it. The rooms were spacious and bed was comfortable but the walls were very thin. I didn't sleep. I kept hearing people walking above me so loud that I can hear even with TV on! Then at 3am more walking, people texting and microwave going on and off....terrible.

It smelled very clean in the lobby and the room was clean. The young man in the lobby was very friendly and even told us about good food in the area. The elevator going to the parking garage was a big plus for us since we were traveling with a baby in a stroller. The only thing that could have been a little better was breakfast. The only warm food was waffles since the eggs were gone quick. But there were other quick things to grab so we were still able to eat. We would stay again.

It was clean in the room, quiet at night and the shuttle to the airport was on time. They are in the process of remodeling the rooms. Should be a nice place when they’re done.

Budget hotel by SFO. Very nice staff. Rooms are a bit out dated. Shower pressure was not great. Trickles. Located on a busy road. Very nice Mexican restaurant just across the street (Celia’s). Breakfast included tough scrambled eggs great location for a night close by from long haul flights or a night prior to flight out.

Also I will say this is not my normal standard of hotel for stay because it is an older property however it was very clean and I was comfortable for the night. If you are need of a hotel close to the airport for a night this is a solid choice

The front desk clerk was pleasant and made check in easy. The room was clean and quiet. Bed was comfy and it's super close to airport so I could park at Long term parking option and catch shuttle. Very convenient and felt safe and parking available on site.

The WiFi was spotty for streaming. The breakfast was a basic hotel breakfast. It could’ve been a little better. More options would be nice. The coffee definitely needed some help. It was pretty bad. But there is a Keurig in the room too. All in all I would stay again.

The AC was off which caused the room to smell. The shuttle either needs to go away or better organized. I ended up taking a $40 share ride for a 5 min drive.

This stay was booked last minute due to a flight cancellation. We were very pleased with the 2 rooms we booked. Clean, simple, and comfortable for our one night stay. We arrived very late like 1am and the front desk was very pleasant despite our very late check in.

Shuttle was relatively easy to find (SFO needs more visible signage to hotel shuttles), it was clean and staff were friendly. I noticed there was a problem with WiFi while waiting in line to check in. Ended up it was never functional -- it just ghosted you, showing that you had wifi (on both phone and laptop), but not really connecting, so that I had to actually turn off WiFi for my phone to function. However... I only got one bar or less from anywhere in the hotel, so I was effectively cut off and had to go outside in the rain to make a phone call or search for nearby food! While I'm grousing, which I rarely make the effort to do, the eggs were the only thing that wasn't sugar, starch, or both for breakfast... except the only option was to take a mini omelette filled with something like cheese whiz, GAK. Good thing there were some fresh, crisp apples, but whew, couldn't wait to get to the airport for some real food, however expensive.

The shuttle for the hotel to the airport never picked us up!! We had to take a Lyft. The only reason why I paid for a full day at this hotel is so I could use the shuttle to take my family to the airport and we only stayed there for maybe 5-6 hours to rest before we left and I paid full price for a one night stay. I only did this was for the shuttle that never picked us up.

We had a short stay at hotel Aura. The room was very clean and very roomy.

It was a good place. We stayed there for one night and we liked our stay-big and clean room, good amenities, and very close to SFO.

The front desk was knowledgeable about restaurants in the area. and gave recommendations of places to try. We loved that there was a shuttle to take us to the the airport. The room smelled of urine. We did inform the front desk but when he came he said he could not smell because of having a cold, so he sprayed Febreze and left.

Also, the blankets are so thin, definitely not what i prefer. But overall the room is clean and everything else’s is good. I’ll stay again.

Place was clean and quiet. Rooms have a lot of space. The bathrooms are huge with everything upgraded. The breakfast is decent. Waffle station, packaged oatmeal, yogurt, apples, coffee, muffins, bread, packaged pastries, cereal, milk, juice machine, tea bags, hot water. They had these eggs that didn’t look very appetizing and there is no meat like bacon, ham or sausage. The staff is very nice there. Water pressure in shower is very good. A/C and heater unit work very well. Pillows are not the best so take your own. TV has a lot of channels to choose from.

I had a corner room, which was very nice and so much room!

We stayed two nights and the room didn’t even get touched up by staff after the first night (trash collected, fresh towels, etc). Breakfast was okay, but needed more options. Room rate was very reasonable. Location was easy access, although street noise on El Camino Real was a bit much.

The property is well taken care of and the front desk associates were nice. Our room was good, for one night. Breakfast was good but there wasn't a lot of protein options. The downside is you can hear EVERYTHING in this hotel. The walls are paper thin. Walking down the hallways you can here conversations behind every door without intending to. The people next door were getting busy with it and it felt like it was in the same room.

The service was excellent. The front desk clerk was very friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this budget friendly hotel. Everywhere was spotlessly clean as well as convenient to restaurants, groceries, etc.

Hotel was great value although the attitude of uber driver led us to believe it wasn't in a great neighborhood and likely to be loud. We only stayed on day and it was a week night. We had no issues with overly loud noise or encountered any neighborhood issues. We took the shuttle to the airport and were the first of three stops. There was only room for three more passengers. Thankfully everyone from other stops fit in remaining space. Travel time to airport was about 20 minutes at 10.00am. Staff was very friendly. No issues were encountered. Room was clean and comfortable. Free breakfast had continental and hot options.

This is a older facility in a les affluent section of town. It suffers from the the afflictions of age and lack of maintenance. The room was not very clean but the sheets were clean.

The room was very clean, the bed comfortable. The only downside, as in prior reviews, was the lack of soundproofing between floors. But that's standard for older built hotels so not really a surprise. A real bonus was having underground free parking.

Specifically: Shuttle runs every hour and makes many stops for other hotels, is pretty small and can get crowded. Check out is 11 am and the shuttle doesn’t operate from 11:08 am to 3 pm. So they try to make sure you’re out at 11 am. If you want a late checkout and want to also use the shuttle, keep this in mind. WIFI was bad. I was in room 311. Breakfast was very basic. I could have skipped the breakfast and it would not have been a loss. Room is spacious but dated. Certain things should be replaced. No smart tv.

We only stayed at this hotel for 1 night due to its proximity to the airport - which was so convenient! We left too early to enjoy the breakfast. The room was average. The decor and overall hotel look was dated. I had to ask the front desk for additional towels for my family (despite being included on the reservation) as well as soap so it seemed that housekeeping missed a few things. The front desk staff were very friendly. The hotel had underground parking which was also very convenient. For short stays or if you need to be close to the airport, this is an acceptable hotel.

The woman at the front desk was wonderful, helpful, and very pleasant. BUT I chose Aura for the shuttle bus service to and from SFO and the hotel. I called the hotel when I landed to request the shuttle and a woman said THERE WAS NO SHUTTLE and to take an Uber of taxi! I had to pay $35 to get to Aura, and found out they DO have a shuttle. I was very upset and wasted $35 due to inaccurate information. Why did this happen?

It was a surprise to find the room spacious and the bathroom room clean and remodeled. Airport shuttle is available only once in an hour, but the hotel is 10 minutes away.

Didn’t get chance for breakfast as starts at 6:30am and we had to heave for the airport quite early. Our only complaint was the free airport shuttle. The day we arrived apparently they had problems with a bus breakdown which was not advised to us despite ringing the hotel twice to see where the transport was. We got to the pick up area at 5:45 so should have been picked up at 6:24pm. The bus didn’t arrive and after calling the hotel we kept being told that it would be 15 mins as held up. Others waiting for the shuttle also called and had same info given to them. It actual turned up at 7.20pm. The shuttle then made several hotel stops and decided to pick up 14 guests from sky apartments which the driver should have picked up on his return airport journey, so by the time they were loaded with all luggage it was well after 8pm when we got to hotel. Not impressed or very happy. Had we been told about the breakdown we would have used uber or lyft, instead of kept being told it was nearly with us! In light of the experience with the shuttle we took a lyft to the airport in the morning as didn’t want a repeat of the night before

Hotel is older but impressively clean and my room was a generous size. Slept well and ready for my flight the next morning. They do offer a shuttle, but I took a quick Uber. Great stop for travelers!

It was not what I expected at all. The hotel was mediocre at best. The room had a smell to it. The area was not the best. The breakfast was not great as they only have toast, waffles, oatmeal, yogurt and some type of eggs.

The hotel is good if you are looking for a room close to SFO. Our room looked out on a neighbors garage and backyard. No outside amenities but we just wantta place to rest and prep for our early morning flight.

But we might not have selected this property if we had known the "free airport shuttle" to SFO had restricted hours. We ended up spending $25 for an Uber to return to the airport because the shuttle hadn't started yet. So, lesson learned to ask if the shuttle runs 24/7 or not.

The shuttle is infrequent. Do not drop your rental car off the night before and shuttle back to the hotel. You will spend an additional two hours there and back. Just pay for one more night car rental and save your time.

We have to come to SF regularly, specifically UCSF. We have stayed somewhere different every time. This place was great. Parking was easy (not if you have a big vehicle). Upon entering the lobby it smelled great!! The man at reception was friendly and smiling (maybe a first for that)/ The 2 bed room was good size, clean and we love to have a fridge and microwave. The mountain view was beautiful. The breakfast was great. Waffles, English muffins, juice, coffee, yogurt, eggs and cheese and assorted hot teas and condiments. We will be back. This was a great bang for the buck!! (Also ran into a few workers having breakfast and were quick to see if we needed help, we only had jumped off the elevator one floor past the breakfast)

Very easy check in with a delightful receptionist. Rooms were quiet and beds were comfortable, but the shower had very low water pressure. Breakfast was decent, but mostly carbs (bread/waffles) - could’ve used some fresh fruit. We’re grateful to have parking under the building. Overall, we were pleased with our stay.

Staff was very welcoming and gave good tips on touring the San Francisco area and ways to maximize our fun. Free daily breakfast made it easier on the pocket than having to go out and find somewhere to eat for breakfast.

Nice little piece close to the airport. The staff were super kind. Shuttle was a long wait and I wish we didn’t have to wait for 50 minutes at the airport. The vending machine was out of water but a super kind lady at the front desk let us fill up the bottles at their staff filter station. That saved the day.

Decent hotel for the price.

The parking is free (which is remarkable in the Bay Area) and is in the covered area underneath the hotel. The room itself is fine; the “2 queen beds” do not seem to be full queen beds. Maybe they are “full” beds instead. All I know is that my feet hung off the bottom of the bed. (I’m 6’3”) The water pressure in the bathroom sink is pretty poor. It has just a trickle of water, so it takes twice or three times longer to wash your hands. I asked the front desk person to take a look at it, and he said all the other rooms were just the same, so it is apparently just how it is at this hotel. The man at the front desk was very accommodating and very friendly. His name was Michael. Overall, I would say this hotel is fine for a short stay.
